Okay place to say

The front desk staff and any staff for that matter seemed like I was a burden when I was there. I approached and checked in (the girl was on her personal smart phone doing something) and the attendant there seemed like I was bothering her.

I asked for some help with luggage to my room as my fiancee and I had just been on a long flight and wanted a little help... The guy to help us was smoking outside and made us wait until he finished his cigarette.

The room was okay... not bad at all, but it was comfortable, relatively clean, but nothing amazing.

It was affordable.

Staff check in ok. Housekeeping sucks. Did not make up room, black and unhappy , unfriendly faces when call to clean up room. Breakfast offered is limited. The guy at egg station was more interested in playing his handphone than taking order for eggs to be cook.. show unhappy faces while cooking eggs. The F&N manage was helpful and service staff at breakfast was mechanical. Key card keep locking out. Pillows provided was lumpy. Please avoid this hotel. So rundown and poor mantainence. Aircon water drip into my coffee and coffee is cold and taste like drain water. It is the worst hotel l ever stay in.

Although the hotel is in District 7 (it takes a little while to get into the city), the distance is not so bad. I had to use the hotel's old name, Liberty, to help local grab drivers and taxis identify it as well. Some rooms may experience minor vibrations from the highway right next to the hotel but overall the experience was pleasant. Buffet selection for breakfast is also pretty decent.

This hotel is out to make a hustle

I booked flight+hotel package via Expedia. I was the only flight passenger therefore by default the room was booked for 1 guest. I arrived with a friend and was charged 50% (350,000 vnd) of the room price for an extra guest. To be clear, the difference between 1 & 2 guests on Expedia is only $2. In my personal experience, no hotel ever adds surcharge for additional guest when the maximum number of guests is only 2. I paid the surcharge just to get the room, and in 5 minutes I called Expedia and changed the guest number to 2. Then Expedia contacted the hotel on my behalf for a refund of the surcharge and the hotel refused to refund me! Expedia then asked for an upgrade and was told there were no other rooms available (I highly doubt that!) To make matters worse, I received a message from management saying if you make a mistake in your booking, then you have pay the extra, that's the hotel policy. Seriously? It feels like this hotel is out to capitalize on the guests' mistakes. Like they're playing a game of \"gotcha.\" Despicable practice. I would never stay here again.

Decent hotel,poor area, no electric hot shower

Problems with the shower. No evidence that there was any electric shower at all, instead only the \"solar shower\" i.e. a barrel of water on the roof heated by the sun. In effect, this meant that the shower was luke-warm at best.

I have nothing else to say other than that I had no problems.

Not Very Sastified.

We stayed for 2 weeks here with 2 kids. Hallways were very dirty, lots of stains on carpets. It has a moldy and musty smell. Wifi are really slow here. Not much to talk about their breakfast. Our room was ok but the people don't seem to really clean our room properly. Toilet papers weren't refilled at times, drinking (bottled) water were very skimpy and weren't refilled at times and when asked we were given only one roll of paper. The staffs are friendly though.

Expected more for a 4.1 rating

There is a supposed lobby lounge but it had a \"glass encased model of a condominium\" with so many sales people hence not usable for guests.
Hallways had ashtrays and it seems smoking is still allowed (well that's a hotel policy I guess).
Noise pollution! The doors would bang if you don't hold them when closing, and you can hear people talking in the hallways.
On a positive note, when you ask the staff for help, they are accommodating.

Bad location and service.

Hotel location is far away from everything, the room is fair enought , the bathroom is tiny . The air conditioner is stop working on me at 5am , they come up and find out can't be fix now. Breakfast is not much to choose . I would not recommend to friend or family.

The hotel is located a farther distance from the Airport but for the distance and cost I feel staying at Liberty South is worth it. The hotel is new and rooms are clean and pleasant. Staff are polite and always attentive and helpful, from the receptionists to the cleaning staff. I felt the breakfast was good. Eggs can be prepared as you wish or there is good breakfast soup. The hotel is located at an intersection but it is quiet in the lobby and rooms.

The hotel was very close to one of the most beautiful area in District 7, Saigon. This is a location for those who wouldn't want to be troubled with the noise and loud music of Saigon nightlife. Perfect for professional on a business trip. Free high speed WiFi throughout the hotel, you can't beat that

Gem in the rough

Brand new hotel at a great price (astonishing). The neighborhood on the one hand has few tourists, on the other is pretty for from the center, but they have a free shuttle. For myself, I loved the neighborhood because it had no tourists and plenty of back alleys where one could find great small local outdoor restaurants. One can absorb \"real\" Saigon, and then go into the center of town to explore that reality. The hotel is on two very busy streets, so it takes some exploring to find the back alleys.

Excellent service!

The hotel staff (especially Linn the front desk manager and all the restaurant servers) were extremely friendly and helpful. They really go the extra mile to please you, more so than any other hotel I've experienced in Vietnam. The top floor breakfast buffet was ok and has a nice view of the surrounding area. The hotel location (District 7) is quite far from most tourist activities/attractions but if you're looking to experience local culture than this hotel is perfect for you. The attached massage parlor is convenient but pricey and not very good - my masseuse was really inexperienced and surprisingly pushy for a tip. Other guests I talked to had similar experiences. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Liberty Hotel Saigon and would come back again, largely due to the excellent service.

New, clean hotel outside congested, smoggy SGN

We booked a deluxe room for 3 nights at this 3* hotel in south SGN's Phu My Hung, 7 district, on expedia.com prior to our arriving in Vietnam. After a 250K$ vnd, ~30-minute taxi from the TSN airport, we were quickly checked in by a friendly, helpful staff into a stay that started our stay in a relaxing, pleasant, fairly modern room in higher, quiet floor. The expedia's rate was better discounted rate than the hotel rate as we found out. The hotel is only about 5 km away from the 1st district/(Ben Thanh market) and the hotel has shuttle service to take from and to in the morning and afternoon. There are a supermarket, local open markets and general grocery stores in the area. We found this hotel was a wonderful resting place for us between long trips to and from the areas. Surprisingly, we stayed for a total of 12 nights at this hotel.
We received helpful info from the staff about non-hotel massage/spa service offered by outside business on the second floor of the hotel.

Nice Hotel

This is a new hotel and the rooms are very modern and comfortable. They are trying very hard to make your stay enjoyable. We feel it is more a business hotel than a holiday place as it is quite a distance from the city, District 1. They do have a free shuttle 3 times a day which is useful and we caught the local bus back a couple of times. The bus station is just accross the road from Bin Than markets and cost 10000Dong for 2. The hotel is let down by some small things, the staff should really be given english lessons, they try so hard but their English is very limited. A couple of times we ordered room service and while it was good, there was no salt and pepper provided. We rang down to ask for some and it never came. The breakfast buffet is just OK. Every day the same thing, no variety and things are cold if you go after 8am. Nothing is replenished although they make fresh omelettes which is good. They would be better off offering ala carte breakfast so you can have some warm food. The fresh fruit was delicious though. Overall we enjoyed this hotel but won't book it on our next visit to Saigon.

Pleasant and clean hotel.

My stay was pleasant and quiet. It is about a 20 minute ride by taxi to the center of Ho Chi Minh. About a 30 minute drive from the airport when traffic is not heavy. It only costs a few dollars more to get from the airport to the hotel than if you stayed in Ho Chi Minh. Hotel staff was attentive and responsive to your needs. Most spoke some english. The breakfast buffet was simple but tasteful. Had both Vietnamese and western style food. It appeared to be a busy road outside the hotel but the noise was not noticeable. Room service was reasonable and not a long wait.

surprise about location.

I thought the hotel is beautiful in nice location from its websites.
It turns out it right below the bridge with tons of motorbikes and cars
I thought it is somewhere I can walk and enjoy the neiborhood like in Phu My Hung
The room is also smaller than photos.
They have a lot of great photos by the way
Maybe I should get more experience about hotels here
Saigon changes so much that made me feel I am o foreigner now even I used to grow up here

Nice hotel and great staff

We were greeted by staff with last arrangement to transfer us from the airport when we arrived. Our room was prepared for us once we reached which was early morning. The room was upgraded to a bigger room and it was a pleasant stay. Shuttle was provided to go to town as it is abt 6km away. However, the service end on 5pm. Be extra careful on the cab to take as we had bad experience with the malighn and got conned on the first day in town. Hotel staff was nice and helpful to arrange to our needs if they could.

Clean, Friendly Staff, Feel safe and secure

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check in process was smooth. I recommend that you deposit 1M Vietnamese Dollar instead of the hotel holding your passport. Electricity is very valuable in Vietnam. Power outage is very common. The hallways are not air conditioned or lighted during the day. The room AC and lights only work if you have your room key card in the power slot. We left one card in the slot the whole 10 days we were there. The room is clean but much smaller than the standard Holliday Inn Express rooms. You need to turn on the fridge manually. It is cool but not cold fridge, so don't store food in it. We just have bottle water in there. There is a flaw in the bathtub construction. Don't be alarm that water is dripping on the bathroom floor and flowing toward the drain under the sink.

Amazing hotel!!!

Hotel was excellent, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and I would have to say that the service in this hotel more than compared... The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure that our 7 day stay was special. The free shuttle service to the city was awesome, it was like having a private chauffeur. The food was excellent and very cheap. I would also recommend the buffet breakfast, there was a chef on hand to make omelette's and eggs, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Lastly I have to commend the maids for always ensuring that are room was spotlessly clean.

This hotel is a must when visiting Saigon.

great hotel at promo rate

exceeds value-for-money factor at the promo rate that I got. Spacious well-designed rooms, courteous staff, free shuttle to the SECC (don't know about free shuttle to Tan Binh exhibit center, though) and the city center. My only tiny complaint is the faint musty, almost moldy smell in the bathroom, even though it's clean! Weird, really.

Great hotel

Excellent hotel in every way, only grumble would be its location, a little bit away from centre but the hotel provide a free return shuttle minibus to anywhere is Saigon. We used the bus every day to all the tourist spots and the driver returned on time every day to our prearranged pick up point. Staff at hotel friendly accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. 5 in all respects and excellent value for money, free breakfast on 10th floor restaurant with spectacular views of the city.

Great Hotel! Brand New and the Best Staff !

I booked this hotel online with out much info and was very pleasantly surprised! It is brand new and clean and the staff is out standing ! - it is an excellent choice for longer stays - business stays- it is in district 7 - much more quiet than the district 1 area -but only an easy 5 minutes away by moto-bike. - It is also just a half block away from the very nice Saigon Sports club if you like working out during your stay ! With many nice cafe's in walking distance. I staying here few weeks and is an excellent value as well!

出張で泊まりました。ホテルは7区に位置し繁華街までも空港までもタクシーで30分程。とにかくコスパの良い安いホテルです。ホテル前は交差点で交通量は多いです。

The staff don't allow us to change another room

The staff don't allow us to change another room when I told them the room was so noisy. Even we stayed at 4 nights. They said the hotel was fully booked, but not so many people I can saw.

今回は８日間の宿泊。今まで３.4泊が主だったので、見方が違います。部屋は良い意味でも悪い意味でも特筆する点なし。前回スイートある９Ｆに宿泊しましたが、今回は４Ｆのデラックス。４Ｆの方が当然部屋は狭いですが、静かなのは何故か４Ｆです。２重サッシの影響？朝飯は美味しく頂けますが、連泊するとほぼ毎日一緒のメニューなので、選択肢の幅が狭いです。

HCMC 7区の割安ホテル

今回で、4・5回目の宿泊と思います。初めてスイートで予約。階層は9Fで、リビングと寝室にセパレートされており、部屋も広々。バルコニーが2部屋とも設けられています。4-5階にいつも宿泊していましたが、今回の部屋の方が、外の騒音が聞こえやすく、結構うるさいです。また初めてルームサービスで、パスタを頼みましたが、割安で結構美味しかったです。寝るだけのホテルの考えであればokですが、早めのチェックインで、ゆっくり過ごしたいのであれば、？？です。立地が交差点と、高速道路の近くなのでその騒音さえきになければよいのですが。。。

7区の割安ホテル

場所は、空港から約22万ドン(約1100円程）の場所。値段の割に部屋も良く、朝食はメニューは少ないものの、結構美味しく頂けました。　周りにはローカルの店が多く、観光客が来るような感じは全くありません。が、仕事で訪問している方にとっては、寝ると朝食に限っているので、良いと思います。自身も2度目ですが、今後もここの予定です。
