My overall comment for the hotel would 4/5. Actually I'd also rate 5/5 but in comparison with other hotels, the distances between the room and the sea was quite sloppy. You don't have to climb all the way for your room thanks to elevator but to reach out the elevators is another adventure. Nevertheless, the staff, the cleanliness, foods, etc... were all beyond of my expectations. I can consider to go there again.

We had 2 rooms, both had slight sewage smell, the staff response to that was that the resort is full so nothing can be done. The AC fan made a really loud noise in one of the rooms when it was one or high, so we kept it at low. If you open the balcony door the AC turns off and there is no screen door/window so we woke up with mosquito bites. Overall the rooms were blunt, of poor condition, as was the entire resort.

There is almost no sand as the already small beach is jam-packed with loungers. There are boats going up and down past the small beach all the time. The bay is lined with party hotels that have music blaring until all hours of the morning.

The staff are rude and could not be bothered to assist or even do their jobs (with the exclusion of the waiters at the 24/7 restaurant). No one provided any information on hot the hotel runs, ie. when which restaurants were open or how that worked, or showed or even told us where to find anything.

The guests by and large seem to come for the endless food and drinks, and generally were unfriendly and rude, pushing in queues as if food would run out.

Good food options every day, the 24/7 restaurant and snack bars also offer good options. The resort overall was really enjoyable, with a decently priced spa with friendly and experienced staff. However the rooms could be cleaned better, we found dusty floors on the day we arrived around the bedside tables. The pools (indoors and outdoors) are quite cold, should be warmer. Overall was an enjoyable stay.

Had a lovely stay at Selectum Colours. It was a nice hotel which had good facilities and kept clean. It is slightly dated but arguably gives it character. We had a sea view with a balcony, room was kept clean and bed was comfortable.

Loved having the flexibility of the 7/24 restaurant for late morning's and late nights. Buffet had variety and something different everyday. We only had the A la carte Italian restaurant for our last night and food was superb...our favourite meal of our whole stay.

Owner of spa was lovely, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the turkish bath, massages and clay masks....we ended up doing this twice during our stay. Changing facilities are dated but the hamam, sauna, treatment areas are well kept and very relaxing. Service is excellent and we would definitely recommend.

There was entertainment on every evening...good effort to keep guests entertained. They had a good range of cocktails however in our experience, the lobby bar only made these well...unfortunately didnt enjoy these from the other bars as much.

There are lots of steps so you can easily make up your 10,000 steps in a day, but be wary if travelling with elderly or those who need accessibility suport as quite a few steps and walking. There was a quiet pool at the far end of the resort which was always empty but perfect if you wanted to relax away from the crowds.

Lots of cute baby cats around the resort too and one crazy dog (lol)

A great hotel in a lovely location. Staff were fantastic, everyone smiling and helpful. Clean rooms and beach area. Food in buffet was very good at breakfast but not many vege options for lunch and dinner. Italian a la carte was great and the 7/24 restaurant. We don’t usually go back to areas and hotels but we would really consider returning here.

Initial greeting was excellent with lovely friendly reception staff. Room was below average and in need of a refurbishment but adequate.

Really disappointed with the Customer services, especially the Restaurant supervisor who was arrogant and unhelpful and couldn't be bothered to do his job and actually sent us to Guest relations to complain over an issue with allergy related matters. Things got even worse at Guest Relations where the \"Assistant Manager\" ended up arguing with us over providing soya or Almond milk. They did provide a carton of soya milk after the complaint but his whole attitude was arrogant and unhelpful.

Communication was an issue in the hotel as only a handful of staff could speak English.

Food was excellent, facilities good. Spa was good and staff friendly.

Mini Market in hotel ok and even sold overpriced Electronic cigarettes in their mini market, even though they are ILLEGAL in Turkey 😉

We have travelled to lots of places around the world and stayed in many, many, 5 star hotels. Unfortunately, this hotel is a mere 3 star Hotel pretending to be a 5 Star hotel - mainly due to their customer services and unhelpful management team.

I wouldn't be visiting there again, it's nothing more than Average.

This is an excellent place in terms of cleanliness, the quality of the food, distinct facilities, and amazing view of the sea. There are three things that need to be fixed tho:
1. Water sports without gas should be free as they are in many other resorts.
2. Both elevators should be remodeled.
3. More training should be provided to the personnel. Especially, the security staff only looks at things without doing anything. And some beach staff uses curse words while talking among each other. And finally, some restaurant staff talks behind other guests. All these three show that they need to be seriously trained!

Excellent help at the front desk, checked us in, got our suitcases to the room. Room had a beautiful sea view on the balcony. They had very good all-you-can-eat food, free bar and good help in the restaurant. They served fish, lamb, pide, pizza, and other Turkish food. They had excellent desert table. Beautiful and clean beach and large clean pool. We liked the Turkish folk dances and belly dance entertainment at night. I just wished a little less nationalistic propaganda in an art show like that. I don't think Russian guest appreciated it.

Money value doesnt deserve the location.
You pay much with zero service and quality.
1.They gave us other room not the one we choose.
2. Room is not expected very small and old furniture.
3. No tooth brush.
4.no iron.
5.no ironing table. (What a 5 star hotel doesnt have these simple tools)
6. No room slippers.
7. No toilet rob.
8. Food quality in the restaurant is very bad.
9. U pay all inclusive but alot of things u have to pay for it there.
10. Staff is so rude.
11. I asked for a printer to print a paper they said not working.
12. The only good thing was is the pool activities they did (ONLY).

I recommend go take apartment and spend the money in the city.

Superb resort in a beautiful beach location. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and the few things that weren’t exactly right at the start were corrected quickly. Excellent choice of food in restaurant throughout the day with friendly and helpful staff at hand. All staff, from the very enthusiastic animation team right through to the ones keeping the place clean and tidy, all seemed to be genuinely happy to be there.
Only two criticisms, firstly the housekeeping is a bit hit and miss. Secondly the quality of some of the drinks is dubious, especially certain liqueurs, and due to the end of season timing of our visit there were no fresh fruit juices available to make up cocktails etc. I think they could have made a bit more effort in that area although once again the bar staff serving were exceptional, especially the ones in the upstairs bar.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable ten days at Asteria and would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

The hotel itself is very nice, clean and located in a great area. Its about an hour away from the airport so the distance isnt too bad (and there isnt much traffic on the way)
There is a taxi service right outside (although Uber is cheaper and available in Bodrum)

The staff itself is one of the best things about this. The entertainment team always have activities in and around the pool area, and they are very friendly.
There are several restaurants available, the main buffet one which provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. The others you need to book for dinner. The choices arent vast (and youre out of luck if you are vegetarian).

The one issue with the buffet restaurant is that the staff are too quick to remove the signs from the food, even though its still eating time. So if you arrive late, you are guessing what food you are picking (unless one of the other guests help you out).

The massage service is good though a bit pricey however they do look to offer deals. But the people going around when youre resting are very pushy trying to make you take up the service. It should be one talk to see if youre interested, if you arent, thats it, move on (I know they are sales people but you dont want to be over bothered when on holiday)

The sea is close and the prices for activities (eg boat trip) are well priced.
The night activities are fun too. A very nice resort to stay at.

We started our all-inclusive stay really impressed and super excited, until the next day happened.
1. Dinner - No one told us that we had to make reservations at one of the 3 \"specialty\" restaurants on site. We learned this the first night. Ok, no worries. Tomorrow we will make them. At 1000 I go to make reservations and they told me that I needed to BE IN LINE by 0900 to make reservations. I could also call, but when I tried that - it did't work. Lo and behold only 40 people get to eat at the restaurants each night - that is absurd! No wonder most of us never get to try them! So we had to eat at the buffet for all three dinners. Fail....
2. Kids Club - they state in all of the paperwork that it is a free service and all-inclusive. However, when my husband took our daughter for a scheduled activity, they then said it had a fee. I looked everywhere to find this and no where did it mention this. He paid it, of course. I went to the front desk to ask about it and all four front desk members said it was all free and when said that they were charging us for different activities, they all looked at each other like \"what is going on\". Later that night we met up with the KC manager and it was alll a \"misunderstanding\" and we got our money back. We felt like we were being scammed it ruined a great experience for our daughter.
3. Beach/Pool - FYI, it is a rocky beach, so bring water shoes. The kids pool is just a shallow circle. It could really use some features.

Great hotel near famous club area Gumbet (within walking distance). In Spring and Fall, you will see a lot of families and a bit older people. At summer time more younger fun crowd. I liked my room with a sea view and near the pool. But if you want more quite place, ask for the room a bit away from the pool. Loved nice pier area with sunbeds (very relaxing). There were great water sport activities. I found out it is cheaper to purchase them strait from the desk at the beach. OMG, food was fantastic!!! Daily activities are awesome: bicycle, darts, volleyball, pool games, dancing, live music bands, shooting contest, bingo and many more... Big shows at night were amazing. Room was basic, but I did not spend much time in it. Overall experience was great. Will be back again.

We spent 3 beautiful day at asteria. The hotel have a huge pool with bar music, an other smaller and quieter pool. One indoor pool next to the gym. The Beach Front is massive and you can have space for yourself. The 4 restaurants offer very yummy food and a huge choice. The Only bad thing is that we were very sad to leave.

Ok, this is not a 5 star hotel, the food was not great and at best luke warm! Even the butter had cuddle to make a Cheesey taste! Used the microwave for the baby food to heat up the food. When you have cold food standing for long times it spells disaster, had a bad stomach, the rooms were dated and old, 3 star at most, air was poor, noisy, didn’t work, had to leave the door open to cool the room!
Plus side, staff were awesome, the hotel was clean, drinks were great, pool was great. Beds were comfortable along with great sheets and bedding. I would rate as a high 3 star and you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed at the start of the season so very quiet and not a lot happening with the animation team which was a little disappointing. Cleanliness of the room along with decor could do with improvement but that is the only real negative. Wide choice of alcoholic drinks but training needed in making proper cocktails.

Massive hotel with a beautiful view

The hotel is located 10 mins walking distance from Gumbet Bar Street. If you are looking for a quiet place - it is not the one as you will be hearing the music until it stops at 5am. The hotel is massive with few restaurants, however the rooms are old and the beds are not comfortable at all. Even though on our confirmation was saying that we can check in early we had to wait exactly until 2pm. There are no fobs, you actually have to carry a key (hotel staff said that the hotel is more than 20 years old). We had issues few times with opening the door and had to go to reception and ask someone to come and open the door for us. Food is delicious and the beach is amazing.

Wonderful hotel. Great service. Tasty food. Not far from Gumbet club area (withing 5-7 minutes walk). A lot of entertainment during day around pool and on the beach. Absolutely amazing shows at night time. Good for family with kids, friends and solo travelers. One of the best hotel in Gumbet area. Rooms are ok, didn't spend much in it. All inclusive hotel close to centre of Bodrum

I had stayed at this resort around 10 years ago, when my children were younger. It is perfect for families with small or young children. Since it is close to the city centre, its location is quite convenient. Open buffet and drinks are better than the average all-inclusive resort. We've learned that it has recently been sold to a different group and the resort will be renamed and renovated.

Hotel with lots of food

If you like pool, unlimited drinks, unlimited food this hotel is the best but if you looking to get warm sand before you walk in to sea nope. Very small shore that you don't even want to get in to sea. Sand has small stones that touches your feet. I felt uncomfortable. Very good staff, friendly and respectful.

the hotel staff could not do enough to help, we were at the end of the season and some of the last guests to leave, the staff went out of there way to ensure our stay was great until leaving.

Fantastic holiday

My parents and I stayed at WOW Bodrum Resort for a week. Every thing was great. Staff were fantastic and friendly especially the guys at the reception and bars.
The only downside was the mosquitos.
We informed the receptionists and they provided us with the electric mosquito repellent. It didn't work and we asked for the spray one. They said they would spray the room later but I think it never happend. My parents were staying in a separate room and they couldn't sleep for three nights in a row.
We complained again. Nothing happened.
The other negative side was to do with the changing the bedsheets.
During our stay, they never changed the bed. I was looking for a sign or a card for request but nothing was there.
Apart from those small downsides, everything was fantastic. Great staff, great food and great location.

I hope I can go back there next year.

This isn't a luxury hotel and the hotel rating of four or five star is probably more to do with the facilities than the quality.

The rooms are dated and the walls very thin, however they are clean and comfortable.

The restaurants are very good, including the buffet (although the buffet food choice is limited). The al a carte restaurants are excellent particularly the Turkish and the Mediterranean.

The bars have quick service and good choice of drinks (local brands only). The pool is good and the location is good with only a 15 minute walk to Gumbet. There's a bar that shows English sport about 100 metres away.

The hotel does show limited English football. Limited parking also available.

The spa is good with good prices for massage and Turkish bath (£35 for both)

For the price , this is a very good hotel.

The hotel lived up to expectations as a 4 star resort

Took local bus into Bodrum Town , 5 minutes away

Great Location, facilities & food, but poor rooms!

The over all experience was pleasing. A nice hotel, close to the beach, and to the night life around. It is also on the same public bus route, where you can sue to go to the city center and marina...
Facilities are very good, and there are lots of activities and entertainment prepared by the staff every day...
Food selection is countless, and can satisfy the taste of many.
Drinks, ice cream... are served all the time...

Couple of drawbacks witnessed:
- Room furniture is very old, and the bed mattress is terrible! had a back pain all week.
- Each room has a safe, but surprisingly, it is of an old generation, where you need to use a door like key to open and close. If lost, you are penalized to pay 50 Euros for it!! - What the heck!! - Not sure why a modern keyless safes are not used, without the hassle of keeping or losing a key!
- I asked for two connecting rooms, to stay connected with my young children. Surprisingly, you cannot close the doors between rooms at night for privacy, as they take the keys of the door, and remove the lock knobs when two connecting rooms are joined! When asked to keep the key available, the answer was, you either keep them open or stay closed! You cant have the key!!
- Rooms Air conditioning was not effective at all at such summer times.
- Reception never answers the telephone, especially at night
