I’ve travelled all over the world and this has been my best trip. The staff were absolutely amazing. Not an ounce of arrogance. They were extremely polite and lenient. They even offered me a super late checkout for my convenience and I’ve never had that experience before. I never usually travel back to somewhere I’ve been but I am definitely coming back here to this exact hotel next time. The staff: Lokman, Ece, Gizem and Serkan were the nicest people I’ve met. Each one of them deserves the best and I wish them the best in their life. Hopefully they’re there when I come next time🫡❤️

Not at all what it bills itself as

This place bills itself as 5 stars which is a joke. It’s reasonably well maintained by local standards but you see evidence of poor maintenance everywhere from the pool grouting to stained deck chair covers to rising taps in the room. It’s obviously painted regularly but the place isn’t exactly shiny new. The worst aspect always the nonchalant service. Our room wasn’t cleaned one day and we never got an apology or explanation. And when the room was eventually cleaned, they didn’t even top up the coffee or soap which was empty. Room service trays lay outside rooms for ages and breakfast table service was very slow and nonchalant. I would t go back.

We loved this property, but it does need some renovation to the second outdoor swimming pool which wasn’t available. We were also given no warning about The Beach facilities not being available and we were told there was a shuttle service to and from The Beach but this also wasn’t available. It was disappointing as we wanted a beach holiday. The hotel was lovely, but we probably wouldn’t have stayed there if we had known there were no beach facilities. We had to make our own way down to the beach and pay for sunbeds. Not appropriate when that is not made clear on the website.

Beautiful place to stay. However, no information about places to see or restaurants nearby. Reception staff hopeless with information. Suggested we go to Sanic Beach by taxi. Got there, not a beach just swimming off a pontoon. We found other beaches closer that we could walk to, never mentioned by staff. Restaurant recommendations hopeless.

Main section of property had a great sea view for dining and pool. The Beach Club is wonderful and a 7 minute shuttle ride, not walkable. Important to know that different room types are in completely different sections of the hotel property buildings and the views in the photos might not be your room's view.

Staff went above and beyond helping us. It’s the little things that make up a great stay. My fiancé ran out of her e-cigarette, the staff went out and got it for her because she did not know where to get re-supplies. Also ran out of lira currency. Staff went out to exchange it for us at no additional cost. Like I said before, it’s the little things that make up the hotel stay. The concierge’s desk is always friendly with suggestions. They will call you a taxi and tell you how much it should be so you don’t get ripped off. Even transportation to the airport. They told us how much it should be. We had an amazing view of the ocean from our balcony. Breakfast was different every morning, which is a great variety. They have a relaxing pool which accommodates different varieties of pool from indoor into outdoor. We use the main pool, the most.

Very nice rooms, service was good and love their beach club. They have shuttle service that takes yoh to and from the beach.

Only thing is that you need a taxi to go anywhere. Its really not walking distance from anything. Unless you want to walk 20 min minimum( at least) and dont mind going up and downs hills.

Amazing stay at the Doria hotel. The facilities and room we're fantastic and the setting is stunning. The private beach is beautiful and we were sad to leave.

The food is excellent, we especially loved the lahmacun at the beach club and the spread at breakfast - especially the fresh pide!

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we loved chatting to Baris (sorry if that's not quite right).

A beautiful property overlooking the sea, the Doria has its own beach club with hourly, short, shuttle rides which is a big plus. Top notch service and extremely professional and kind staff along with excellent condition of property (though the gym could use some love), excellent breakfast and large, well designed rooms, make the Doria an excellent five star choice near to Bodrum city.

My wife and I booked for 3 nights- we loved it so much we stayed for a further 3 nights. This hotel is a very much a boutique style, well decorated and laid out. Breakfast was superb. The beach resort a short free shuttle ride away was a stunning location with great staff and food. The staff at the main hotel we very courteous and friendly. Many with excellent ability to communicate in English. Front desk reception staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful (especially Mehmet). The housekeeping staff were attentive and also very friendly and helpful. Based on our stay, I would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for an amazing holiday.

The room would take hours to cool down to the high twenties. Generally most shortcomings I would attribute to getting back into the swing of things after covid.

I really enjoyed this hotel as the view was great. Although some of the staff couldn’t speak English so well, the rest of the staff that could more than made up for it. In fact, one of the front desk employees was extremely friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to help us get to the beach (as their’s was closed) and to book a Turkish bath. Her efforts to help us, really made this hotel memorable.

The rooms are good size and clean and with a beautiful view of the Bitez Bay (you need to book accordingly of course). The staff is very courteous and trying to be helpful best they can. I think they could improve even better if the room management software were little bit more flexible.. The property is on a hilltop (hence the gorgeous view) with a very steep climb. Overall great value for the money.

Nice resort style hotel outside of the main town looking over the sea. Open atrium style lobby with sculpture and artwork. There was construction going on right next door which was annoying but the service was very good and low key. Big rooms with full sized bath. Nice hiking opportunities around the area and down to the beach.

The panoramic view of from the hotel is superb. We could watch sunrise from the bed. Staff were nice and facilities good. We used the gym regularly. Swimming pools are good though we used the one in the front. Breakfast was basic. Hotel location is little away from the nearby beach. Walking up and down is not the best option. We had a rental car, so going to Bodrum Centre and moving around wasn’t an issue. We stayed for 5 days and really enjoyed our stay. We booked comfort room, but were upgraded to room with sea view.

Excellent views is what saves this hotel but noise from all the surrounding party hotels makes for an uncomfortable stay...also with the exception of kitchen and restaurant staff (who were fantastic!) other staff members didn’t at all seem keen to be there...perhaps the owner can invest more in staff and their training so they’re genuinely happy to help!

The hotel was excellent and the facilities were great. Staff very helpful and the design and layout of the hotel superb.
The views were outstanding and the positioning of the hotel away from the centre of Bodrum made it very calm and peaceful. This did mean however that it was not very easy to walk anywhere from the hotel as the roads were very steep. This was not a major problem however as taxi's arrived with a couple of minutes and were very reasonably priced.

The view is the best perk about the Doria. Otherwise inside the hotel and through the lobby, it has a modern, abstract art vibe to the hotel. Rooms were clean. When we were staying, they were doing some renovations. The dry sauna is relaxing and the indoor pool area was nice since it was still chilly weather outside, but the first day we got there, they had to turn on the sauna for us.

We recently returned from a weekend stay at the Doria, however were left disappointed. I can image during tourist season it may be a lovely place to stay. The views from around the hotel and our room were stunning. There are two good size outdoor pools, one small indoor pool. We were looking forward to having a couple of days to relax in the hotel. However, all pools was unusable. We thought we could atleast swim in the indoor pool, however it looked dirty, was freezing cold and only half full. The spa appeared closed. There was no buffet breakfast, just a breakfast plate. The staff member who checked us in looked like we had put him out by checking in. We mentioned being silver rewards members but were given no benefits. Hotel needed a good clean, dead insects everywhere and stains on the walls in the bedroom. Definitely not a 5*. I understand our stay was out of tourist season, which could explain the unusable pool and lack of buffet breakfast, however none of this was mentioned online or on the Doria hotel website which is why I was very disappointed.

Very lovely staff. I had the suite and it was spacious, light and huge. I had sweeping views of Bodrem and Bitez. The beach shuttle worked well and the beach lounge area was excellent. They cooked a mean pide both at the restaurant at the hotel for breakfast as well as at the beach cafe. X

The hotel is lovely but they have serious staff problems. There were room service dishes left outside our room for 2 days and the staff seemed more interested talking among themselves during breakfast and at the bar during the day. A shame as the views are beautiful and the rooms are lovely. We were supposed to get silver benefits but we don’t even know what these were?

Lovely hotel on hillside above Bitez with great views. Staff all helpful. Hotel beach is great and shuttle bus transfer there takes about 15 mins. Great for a short stay. Only downside is need to take taxi to leave hotel as no bars or restaurants in walking distance.

Welcoming staff and nice facilities. Paid for a room with 2 x double beds and only got one, so one of us slept on a far less comfortable cot during our stay. The pool was cold and had grubby marks on the floor, as well as plastic bags and other rubbish in there. Would go back but only to sunbathe on their private beach (which was great, a free shuttle there and no sand).

Everything about this property is great, including the facilities, staff and especially the beach. Located on a hill the hotel rooms and restaurant offer a great view of the sea and surrounding areas. Stayed here for 6 days and loved every single one of them.
The atmosphere at the property is exceptionally calm and relaxing, making it perfect for a vacation.
PS The beach alone makes it worth to stay at this hotel.

Most hotel staff (particularly the cleaners, bell boys and the restaurant staff) were very good and helpful.
We paid for a sea view room- only if you stood at the far left side of the balcony and stood on a chair could see the sea. I felt this was very deceptive. At best it should have been sold to us as a \"partial sea view room\".
We also asked the front desk staff to help us organise a ferry to a nearby Greek island. I would recommend future travellers NOT to do this. We were charged more than double the actual ferry ticket price. I understand some commission should be paid but over double is obscene.
Overall our stay was slightly better than ok. I would rate this hotel 3.5/5.
