Great hotel in the heart of Old Town

Hotel Life Palace is fantastic! Great location: right in the middle of Old Town, which is charming, fully pedestrianized, and easily walkable. (No cars in Old Town but it’s small enough that it’s easy to carry/roll your suitcase to you car, taxi, or bus.) There are bistros, snack-shops, cafes, and full restaurants right out the front door or around the corner. But a word of warning: for breakfast, you’ll want to stay in the hotel—every morning, there’s a great selection of treats and mainstays. The hotel itself is super-comfortable—you get the visual delight of a historic palace combined with modern comforts. And, finally, the staff is amazing—efficient, attentive, and super-nice.

This hotel is really, really, cute and the people who work there are incredibly kind, giving it a bed-and-breakfast vibe. It’s not your typical hotel… it feels privately owned and operated although it isn’t. The location is great and while there isn’t super close parking, I found the garage nearby to be safe and convenient. The best way to feel like you live in old town with the amenities of a hotel.

If I could give more than 5 stars for the service here, I would. The staff gave us a ton of history about Croatia and it was fascinating talking with them. And very helpfully booked dinner for us. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing--everything was very, very fresh. I would definitely recommend!

Good location, but poor parking and poor service.

There are definite pluses to this hotel. It is centrally located in a characterful building, and is clean and generally modern inside (but the carpet in our room was very worn). However, we found it underwhelming after other heritage hotels in Croatia.

We had a \"superior\" room which was very dark (just one small window). The deluxe rooms look much brighter, albeit they overlook the square, which is noisy at times.

Do be aware if arriving by car that there is no parking nearby, and no vehicular access to the pedestrian zone. You have to walk there from a public car park, and there are a number of steps to access the hotel. We were rather misled about this by the hotel website. The parking is also expensive- at about 25 euros a day.

The service was really what let the hotel down. On the pluses, the guy who served us breakfast (which was lovely) was great and the morning female receptionist was charming. The male receptionist we dealt with most of the time was offhand- a few apologies about the parking situation, lack of hair conditioner (odd for a four star hotel), and broken jacuzzi would have gone a long way but were sadly lacking.

That said, Krk national park was amazing and the old town in Šibenik has some wonderful restaurants. So if centrality is a must then this might be the hotel for you. If service and amenities are more important, then there will be better options.

The property is extremely charming. The service was inviting and polite. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The only thing to know is that there is no parking at the hotel. The hotel is in city center. A perfect location for the shops but a way to walk from the parking garage if you have large international suitcases.

Boutique hotel in the middle of old town Sibenik. There are only 5 rooms per floor so not very big. Rooms were large and very clean. The staff was great especially Matejo who provided some historical information about the area and places to see. There is an underground parking lot nearby that is about 12 euros a day.

Not as advertised. Not a four star property. I checked out after the first night of my two night stay and requested a refund. The shower did not drain, the door did not lock, the furniture and linens were dust covered, the bed upholstery was stained, the walls were scuffed. The site stated a bar and restaurant were on site, but there were neither. The patio closed and there was no outdoor space. A fire extinguisher was used to prop open the door on my level. My travel partner's reservation included a spa package, but there was no spa. I expressed my concerns with staff upon checkout. I wrote my concerns on a piece of paper with my contact information. The property never contacted me. Do not recommend.

Very comfortable and in a great location in the mddle of the old town shops and restaurant. Our room was comfortable but the bass and beat from the music from the restaurant below our room 103 resonated until nearly midnight.
Also the breakfast buffet is in an area that on a hot day gets very hot and therefore if you are later for breakfast it looks a bit unpalatable.
Shame because the hotel and staff are lovely.

This hotel was right in the middle of town, and so adorable! If you have a lot of luggage, it can be hard to get the luggage to the hotel but well worth it. The staff was friendly, the hotel was cute and the breakfast was delicious.

Didn’t feel very welcome. The rooms were very old and dated. The toilets and sinks we ok but shower was so tiny and just barely passable from a cleanliness standpoint.
Our comforter had a stain. Since it was just one night we let it go.
But what was really disappointing was the fact that their website says that they will help us with our luggage from the bus station, since the hotel is a little bit of a hike into old town but when we called, no such help was offered. We were two petite women so was tough trying to lug our luggage to the hotel.

This was a great hotel in a fantastic location. The spa was really nice to switch off and relax as it was used privately by myself.
The rooms were really impressive and well decorated/furnished.
The reception staff were fantastic and very helpful with advice. Especially providing me with great advice for a 23km run and recommended a route to Brodarica, which was great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Uncomfortable Stay, Not worth the money!

Overpriced and not worth the money. The rooms are small. AC was not working. (It seemed that it was intentionally made inoperable by the hotel to save money). We had to keep the windows open, but it wasn't sufficient to air the room properly. Hotel has a courtyard in the front which is being used for restaurant seating so you constantly hear a lot of noise coming from there including the staff arranging outdoor furniture early morning or late night etc. People smoke in the courtyard so that could affect you if your windows are open. Also, they also did not send us any message in advance about the car parking facility so it led to wastage of time. The staff is friendly, their breakfast was good and they made custom eggs for us.

Great service, wonderful location and staff. If you have a car, call fire to discuss access to the nearby free parking and for assistance with your luggage. We did this and it made for an easy, simple check-in. The hotel serves wonderful breakfasts and desserts. Great wine selection as well. Staff very friendly and everyone spoke English which was a huge plus. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed. Room had only 1 robe and slippers. There was 2 of us had to ask for extra and they only gave me a robe. We were given a room on the 1st floor. Trying to signing in to WiFi couldn’t do it. Front desk advised 1st floor rooms can’t get WiFi on going problem they can’t fix. Tell me to come to lobby for WiFi. Receptionist says for the inconvenience drinks are on them. She failed to say that complimentary drinks were for only one night. My fiancé uses her phone for work/school we went down to the lobby 3 times for WiFi. We received a bill for 2 of 3 times.
Breakfast was outdoors numerous bees and flies on the food unsanitary.
Slow drainage in bathroom sink they come to fix it ended up making it worse.They leave I go put on the faucet water pours out from the pipe underneath.
Complain to front desk they hand me an old dirty bucket and tell me to put it under the sink. The best part while they re trying to fix the drain they tell us to go have a drink until they are done. We go have a glass of wine and a beer they charged us for the drinks. At check out when I complained about the stay they didn’t even offer us anything off the bill. I had to ask and all we got was 5% off and 1 package containing a fig. There was 2 of us couldn’t even give 2 packages are they serious. I was on a 2 week trip of Croatia and Italy. Stayed in 6 hotels by far this was one of the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Will never stay here again. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the Heritage Hotel Life Palace for one week at the end of June 2019. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were amazing and could be eaten inside or outside. The location in the centre of the old town in a historic square gives easy access to the local attractions such as the cathedral, forts, shops and the water front (where there are a choice of boat trips). We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Unbeatable service

The service at this hotel is truly fantastic. Every member of staff we met was hugely helpful and always smiling. They really went above and beyond. We were also lucky enough to enjoy some complimentary wine and snacks upon arrival and have sole use of the spa area for the evening. We were even able to bring champagne to the jacuzzi. We are particularly grateful to Marina who organised a speedboat for us and helped us to research several parts of our journey across Croatia. If you are travelling to Sibenik definitely stay here!!

The staff were excellent to us. The property is in Old Town, and required we take our luggage a small distance and up 50 steps. The reception happily came and assisted us, as well 2 staff assisted in taking our luggage back to the street level when we left. The room is pleasingly fancy, overlooking a small old town square. We were able to open the windows and listen to the sounds of living, below. There is also an outdoor, under canopy area for drinks, which was lovely. We were off season but the weather was very pleasant. Highly recommended

We stayed two nights in this lovely accommodation on the heart of Old Town. The staff were exceptional in their service to us. Our stay was in off season, and reception came to our car, 50+ steps up and throught old town to assist with transporting our luggage. They also have an outdoor canopied area where we sat for drinks and the bar/kitchen assistant was a delite as well. Our experience here was A1. Highly recommended!!

Finding the Heritage Hotel Life Style Palace was not easy but worth the effort. This property is epitome of charm and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, from Maya at the front desk to Milan, who helped with our bags and in the cafe. My room overlooked the front and had two balconies - so lovely but some may find it a little noisy, although it didn’t bother me.

Lovely old world central hotel in old part of Sibenik town.
The room was light and comfy, the bed was very comfortable and an excellent powerful shower in the bathroom.
Staff were friendly and efficient. The chamber maid saw the birthday cards in the bedroom and organised fruit and chocolate, very much appreciated..
A good breakfast which could be taken outside into the central terrace where all day coffee, tea, patisseries, ice creams are served to the general public as well. Layout of breakfast was a bit cramped and bain marie wasn't working so scrambled eggs etc all cold.,

- As you are in the middle of town, you can explore the whole town easily. Lot of eating options around (in addition to hotel)
- They have a nice patio area in outside where we can have breakfast while sitting in middle of town. good experience.
- you do need to climb stairs to get to hotel, so call ahead in advance. The hotel sent a person to the parking to help us in luggage and also on check out.

Heritage Hotel Life Palace was a revelation in Sibenik. Located in a luxuriously refurbished heritage building on a square in the heart of the old town of Sibenik, you are literally steps away from all the sights. The comfort, the cleanliness, and the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff are superlative! Even the notoriously difficult problem of parking in Croatia's old city centres can be resolved by contacting the helpful staff well ahead of your stay, as they have certain reserved spots in a parking lot nearby. If we ever come back to Sibenik, we know where to stay again!

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of the city

First off, this is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The accommodations were fantastic (especially the free hotel breakfast which might have been better than any restaurant we ate at our whole trip), the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal, 5 minutes from some of Sibenik’s biggest attractions and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and bars. We did make the mistake of carrying our bags from the parking lot to the hotel, which I would not reccomend, but the hotel will send someone to carry your bags for you so in the end it’s really not an issue. This is an ideal hotel for experiencing Sibenik and I would highly reccomend staying here!

A hike to get there

Long hike up into pedestrian only area to find where free parking was ( down by docks). Do not plan to bring heavy luggage. Excellent breakfast in a not very accessible area.

Lovely hotel

If you plan to be in the city, you better be here.
Recently renovated. Very lovely and comforting.
Beautiful yard and bar in front. Staffs were all friendly and helping. If you are old or disabled, you should ask for help from hotel as you need to walk up the steps. But you will get help from friendly staffs. And the best restaurant in Croatia bery close to the hotel. It was simply great **
