This was without a doubt the best located hotel in the whole of Sibenik, siting in the middle of the foreshore eating and entertainment strip, directly below the old town, which is on a hill behind. No scores of steps to drag your luggage up, like the hotels in the old town- which is all pedestrianised.. It had the largest and most specious - shaded - out door restaurant bar area\"garden\" on the coast with relaxing live Spanish guitar music in the evenings. The staff were hard working and excellent, the food was good, especially the pizzas, and it was very inexpensive. Also, I have seen complaints on-line about the breakfast, but the breakfast was good and all you could eat, both hot and cold. The hotels down side is that the rooms are very dated and tired, but that makes them cheaper than most hotel rooms in town, however they are well-serviced and very clean and I had the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a long time. So, if you do NOT want to spend your holiday sitting in your hotel room, this is the perfect place. Also it is just five minutes walk along the sea front from the bus station. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sibenik - and I can afford the very best.

Last minute booking and first time in Sibenik

Excellent location, didn’t matter if our room had no sea view as it was a last minute booking. The location was the best as it is along the promenade and near everything! Staff were professional and greeted all the guests all the time and were very helpful. Room air con was good and saved us from the punishing summer heat! Hotel is quite old but well maintained. Maybe some small refurbishments can give it a refreshing look and remove the mild stale air along the corridors. Breakfast was decent and filling.

There were only 2 great things about this hotel, the location and Katarina who works in the restaurant. She was so nice and accommodating. But we would have a hard tome ever booking this hotel again, as it was so old and desperately needs renovations. The rooms are so small and bathrooms have a terrible odor coming from the slow draining sink drains.

Perfect Location

If you're looking for a completely modern, updated hotel with contemporary facilities geared to ensuring that you spend a significant amount of your time in a swimming pool, balcony or fitness gym, this is not it. But if the purpose of your visit is to get a real flavour of Croatia, its regional natural beauty and hospitality, look no further! Air conditioning can be a problem and room sizes don't allow enough space to swing a cat (although we left 'Tiddles' at home to check on the goldfish). Breakfast is basic but tasty and staff are very accommodating, willing to help and unobtrusive. There's car parking for a limited number of cars but also an added bonus of the use of an alternative car park 2 hundred meters from the hotel. Many rooms 'back' onto an authentic historical setting, reflecting the Roman Christian architecture and narrow walkways atmosphere, with regular chimes from the 3 bells of St.James Cathedral - beautiful! Our visit coincided with the historic re-enactment of the battle with the 'Venetians' in the 13th Century, very impressive!

Good Place on The Water Wth Great Air Conditionin

Great location on the water. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel does not have recent renovations, but was very comfortable, including the air conditioning in our room, which worked great and felt very good after a day of site seeing in the heat and sun. The breakfast was fine - nothing too extraordinary. Check in was quick and easy and the bed was comfortable.

Receptionist wasn't very pleasant, almost felt like I was intruding on her day when I checked in.

The hotel room was extremely outdated, designed by Norman Bates' alter ego.

Air-con was powerful, however when I woke up in the morning the carpet was soaked where it was leaking throughout the night.

Showers were ok, there was a stench of cigarettes throughout the building.

However, its close proximity to everything you need and you get what you pay for!

It's just a few minutes walk from bus station. Older hotel, with very friendly staff. Room was small, but workable. No A/C, but the desktop fan made it habitable in mid August. Breakfast was surprisingly nice! No WiFi in room (3rd floor).

A great location - it just needs refurbishing!

The hotel decor is tired and dated. Our room was missing a curtain and shower curtain, the paint in the bath was cracked and peeling and the air conditioning leaked water. It's a shame because the location was ideal for getting to the krka waterfalls and was right on the waterfront with lots of local restaurants nearby. For a short stay, it's bearable.

Great location not so great hotel

The location is the best of the hotel. They charge for it. Walking distance to all historical spots in Old Town. Have a parking space in situ with a convenient overnight rate. Breakfast included, good.with fresh scrambled eggs and all normal stuff. Food at the restaurant just ok. taste not so good. Room was extremely small, bathroom looks very old and not too well kept. tub was peelling apart . We paid a little more to have sea view, we were given a room on the first floor, above the restaurant umbrellas We had seaview but Requested a higher floor room, were told the higher rooms didn't have A/C. Internet was advertised as wifii in public areas. Not in the hotel. You had to get out to the restaurant terrace, or rent their computer at the lobby. In all Not good for the price but is the best location you can get.

I stayed on 3rd floor. I think they are upgrading from top downwards, so 1st and 2nd floor didn't look so great. you have to request air condition room when booking or like me you may not be lucky.
honest basic hotel giving good value for money. perfect for the Old Town and the many restaurants

Needs some love...

Room was small, dirty, badly lit. A/C leaking water on the carpeting. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Place needs a renovation. Breakfast was mediocre and seemed dirty. Sorry just being honest... I can slum it but not for the price....

Great location, but little else!

Have stayed here twice in 2013 - January and again in April. The only reason I stayed here a second time is the location. It is right on the riva next to the ferry terminal in the center of town. The rooms, common areas and restaurant are all tired and in need of serious upgrading! It feels like you just stepped back into the late sixties, but with 40 years of wear and tear added in. Rooms are tiny and bathrooms are awful, but despite this it is quite clean, beautiful views and staff are quite good. The number one standout is the lady who works at the front desk during the day. On both visits she was outstanding, friendly, professional and most helpful with every request that came her way.

I would recommned for location only.

Our booking was by mistake done for one person only. My wife and I found out about this upon arrival late at night. They told us that it was not a problem, that the two of us could stay and that there would be some additional cost that they could only tell us about the next day. Early in the following morning we checked out and they handed us a bill for twice as much as we had seen in our booking. They did that it was the policy of the hotel to charge per person and not per room. We ended up paying what we ylwould have paid in the best hotel of the area, much more than the hotel was worth. They failed to inform us how expensive the extra charge would be, and the tone they used in a way that we found very unfair, and we ended up being very disappointed by our experience at Hotel Jadran.

Close to sights and transport

We were very comfortable in a clean and reasonably spacious room with a great view. Generally the service was friendly for a big hotel. One of the breakfast waiters must have gotten out of the wrong side of the bed and was mister Grumpy, but all other staff were courteous and helpful. The location is superb on edge of old town and close to buses and ferries. Can highly recommend restaurant \"More\" just down the road near Jadrolinja booking office for great food.

Good location if you need to catch a ferry. Reasonably good breakfast for a 3-star establishment.

However, staff rather disinterested and unhelpful, parking an absolute nightmare (and its extra), rooms VERY overdue for a revamp.

Look for somewhere else to stay

Great location but the hotel is average. The rooms are small and show their age - 1970's at best. We spent one night in August 09 so the weather was hot. The air-conditioner was broken and of course it couldn't be fixed during our stay, nor could we be moved to another room with working air-con. One month on and I wounder whether it's been fixed yet. The staff were kind enough to bring us a fan.

Un court séjour dans un hôtel bien situé avec un accès rapide aux transports, restaurants, plages, vieux village et magasins juste à côté, néanmoins cet hôtel est dans son jus, jamais rénové ni entretenu depuis sa construction.
Mobilier et équipements rudimentaires.
Par contre le personnel sympathique.

Die Lage des Hotels Jadran in Šibenik ist wirklich ein Pluspunkt. Das Frühstück war im Grunde zufriedenstellend, auch wenn die warmen Komponenten wie Rührei und Würstchen leider oft kalt waren.
Allerdings ist der Zustand des Hotels, insbesondere der Zimmer, doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung wirkt altmodisch, und das Fehlen von Annehmlichkeiten wie Föhn, Wasserkocher oder einer Begrüßungsflasche Wasser ist nicht ideal.
Der Meerblick wurde durch eine ungünstig positionierte Säule im Zimmer beeinträchtigt, und die Zimmergröße war eher beengt. Zudem war die Geräuschisolierung mangelhaft.
Fazit: Die Lage ist super, aber in Bezug auf Komfort und Zustand gibt es deutliches Verbesserungspotenzial.

Bra läge men gammalt hotell

Det här hotellet är i desperat behov av renovering. De har fastnat i 80-talet. Läget är fantastiskt, men både rummen, inredningen, badrummen(!!!), frukosten, ja allt behöver rustas upp.
Vi fick ett rum med portabel air condition. Tyvärr lät den otroligt mycket så vi hade svårt att sova och det var omöjligt att stänga av den för det var ca 30 grader och rummet blev varmt igen på 5 minuter.

Het hotel is gedateerd en heeft groot onderhoud nodig om weer up to date te zijn en de gehanteerde kamerprijzen te rechtvaardige. De ontvangst door de receptionist was perfect. Hij was behulpzaam, vriendelijk en correct. Dat gold overigens voor de hele staf die wij gesproken hebben.

Eine einfachere Unterkunft, aber es passte mir alles.

Hotel otřesný.! Je vám slíben pokoj se \"sea view\" a dostanete pokoj s výhledem na ulici, kde si se sousedem koukáte do pokoje, jak jsou okna blízko, okno nemůžete ani otevřít, jelikož pod vámi je kuchyň. Pokoj byl tak malý, že si nemůžete otevřít ani kufr, pokud nepřestěhujete půlku pokoje a i tak jste rádi, že se vám vytvoří ulička k průchodu. Otevřete si skříň a spadnou na vás police. Klimatizace hlučná a skáče tak, že máte strachu usnout. Prostory neklimatizované, drží se vlhko. Obsluha se nestará o svoje hosty při snídani holubi jedí vaše jídlo ze stolu a hodinu před koncem snídaně, už není téměř žádná strava a obsluha vám řekne, že doplní až zítra. Koupelna otřesný stav, ráno neteče teplá voda. Při plném parkování, vás pošlou parkovat k jinému hotelu a i tak vám dají plnou cenu za parkování. Pokoj vhodný pouze na odložení věcí a rychle odejít do ulic města. Zážitek na celý život, ale stačilo, poprvé a naposledy v tom to hotelu. Budeme žádat o reklamační list.

Personal de recepción muy atenta. Habitaciones viejas pero limpias. Colchón incómodo, su hundía. Aire acondicionado portátil, viejo y extremadamente ruidoso. Ubicación inmejorable. Con aparcamiento que es indispensable para la zona. Desayuno correcto.

Attention Les photos sont en grand angle!

La confirmation de réservation reçue par l’hôtel n’était pas conforme à notre achat.
Nous avons dû montrer notre réservation chambre double sea view.
L’hôtel avait comme document chambre twin vue sur la court. Minuscule et lits séparés.
Ils ont accepté sans difficulté de nous mettre dans la chambre réservée.
Mais les chambres ne ressemblent pas aux photos du site! Elles sont vraiment plus petites et plus vieilles. Nous devions avoir un réfrigérateur, ce n’était pas le cas.
Les photos sont trompeuses. L’hôtel est vieux, mais il faut reconnaître qu’il est très bien placé!

Très bonne situation près du centre ville

Très bonne situation ,sur les quais et à 5 minutes à pied du centre ville.Nous avons choisi cet hôtel car c'est le seul du centre ville qui propose un parking devant.Que c'est agréable de flâner le soir dans les ruelles de la vieille ville après le départ des autocars de touristes ! La ville est très en pente avec de nombreux escaliers,donc tous les logements proposés sont difficiles d'accès avec des valises.Cette excellente situation fait oublier l'aspect des chambres un peu vieillotte qui seraient à rénover ,la grosse télé à tubes et le poteau en béton de la plupart des chambres qui diminue la surface utile de 4 m² environ.

Hotellin vastaanoton nainen oli erittäin ystävällinen ja hankki meille toisen parkkipaikan, sillä hotellin oma ja pieni parkkipaikka oli täynnä. Hän myös antoi meille huoneen jossa oli parivuode, vaikka olimme varanneet sellaisen, jossa on kaksi erillistä sänkyä. Tästä siis iso kiitos! Huone itsessään oli jotenkin tunkkainen ja erittäin vanhanaikainen. Yleisilme oli kuitenkin siisti ja lakanat olivat puhtaat. Emme nukkuneet kovin montaa tuntia, sillä ulkona oli aamuun saakka meteliä ja ikkunat eivät ääntä eristäneet. Kylpyhuone oli siisti ja puhdas vaikka vanhanaikainen.

Posizione ottimale, parcheggio comodissimo, dotazioni orribili.
Camera singola, standard, piccolissima, mancanza di aria condizionata con finestra aperta su un cortile rumorosiss tutta la notte. Un inferno di caldo e rumore. Bagno piccolissimo, quasi impraticabile, senza asciugacapelli. Assenza di frigo e di cassaforte. Tre stelle immeritata.

フロントは、とても笑顔で優しく接してくださいましたが、何かお願い事がある時に、次のスタッへの引き継ぎができていないのでは？と感じる案件がありました。学生の旅行ですのですのでこの程度でよかったのですが、ビジネスだとどうなのでしょうか？しかし、この場所はビジネスで来る場所ではないので、のんびりしていてこれはこれで良いのかもしれません。

Hôtel très bien situé pour les visites touristiques, datant de l'époque titiste... et qui a sérieusement besoin d'une réfection générale : plomberie et électricité défaillantes, déco un peu .... passée et un peu cher. Les chambres à l'arrière sont très petites mais calmes. Gros plus : le petit déjeuner très copieux pris sur la terrasse sous les arbres face à l'Adriatique !
