My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Prestige Hotel in Budapest mid June 2026. When we arrived the hotel reception area was spotless and the staff made us very welcome and were extremely helpful at all times throughout our stay. Our room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space for our needs. The continental breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice from cold and cooked food. The dining area was beautifully laid out making the food very appealing and the staff kept the area very clean at all times. We used the hotel sauna early one evening which was nice, again all very clean. The hotel is situated only a 5 minute walk from the chain bridge over the Danube which was really handy as all the boat trips on the Danube depart near this point and the open top hop on / hop off tourist bus also has a stop near the chain bridge. It's also only a 5 minute walk from St Stephens Basilica, the largest church in Budapest which is surrounded by lovely restaurants. Another bonus was that the hotel was less than a 5 minute walk from Liberty Square where they were showing the football world cup on 2 giant screens, with cheap beer and wine compared to many of the other bars and restaurants in Budapest. It was a really handy stop off point for a refreshing drink returning to the Prestige hotel from our day trips as the weather was so hot, 30+ degrees. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for classy accommodation in a great location near key Budapest amenities.

The reception staff at the front desk and room service all are exceptionally good.
The restaurant personal just average. Not really helpful. Food is average. The table ware is not thought through. Example: they offer jams in big jars, however, there is no jam sockets. At all. Thus, the jam to be put on the large sфuser it will spread on it. Good?
No pool.
No window view.
Considering all above, the price is slightly too high.

Welcomed by very friendly reception.and explained everything, where we were and a map. Room not ready (it was 10am) so advised to return after 3. Great excuse to go wandering and getting lost in Budapest. Room great size, well appointed bathroom, good TV channel selection. Clean throughout and good comfy bed. No breakfast so can't comment on that but excellent check out, asked if everything was to expectations and offered a taxi.
Great central location to get around and some nice places to eat and drink nearby.
Overall, top stay and would highly recommend.

Great hotel, beautiful rooms and very centrally located. It's right in the heart of the city with great restaurants right at your doorstep. From here you can walk across the river to the Buda castle or even to the old Ghetto.
We initially planned to take public transportation everywhere but after realizing how small Budapest was, we just ended up walking everywhere.
This hotel is classy with comfortable beds and large rooms. We also appreciated the fact that breakfast was included.

Great hotel and perfect location to see the sights and walk to a bunch or Christmas markets. Lots of great dining options nearby, including an excellent Indian restaurant across the street. We were able to walk almost everywhere, except to the spa. Room was large, clean, very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. I would stay there again and recommend to others!

I rarely say this but this hotel is the best choice in Budapest. From the second you walk in, it is gorgeous. The staff greet you and treat you like a VIP. The rooms are beautiful and you cannot hear another person. It is a short walk to everywhere. The chain bridge is close, as well as the bronze watchman and the bronze memorial shoes on the Dnube River. It was perfect.

The hotel was in a perfect location on a quiet street. Nice breakfast and nice restaurant on site for a nice cup of hot tea after a long day and sort of a cool night. I was traveling with a group of six, so it was nice to be able to sit together. Lots of restaurants close by.

This property was very close to the action, but tucked away on a quiet street so it wasn’t noisy. The extra amenities in the room were much appreciated and thoughtful. The shower head was great, often when we travel there is little pressure and frustrating shower heads. The staff at the concierge’s and front desk were friendly and helpful.

The Prestige hotel was wonderful. It was a great location to see all the sights. Very close to the basilica and the chain bridge among other highlights. I'd highly recommend getting a suite. They are extremely spacious to spread out your things. A pleasant surprise when I saw it.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great area of Budapest. My bed was huge and comfortable with the best pillows I think I’ve ever had at a hotel. The bathroom was well stocked, I never use many hotel toiletries but they were plentiful. Lots of storage if you need it for a long stay. My only hang up with my room was, as soon as I walked in, there were two steps. Interesting placement, especially with large, heavy luggage. Would recommend and stay here again!

The rooms are clean and cleaned every day. They provide two water bottles daily - one still and one sparkling. If you need more, then you purchase it. The design is luxurious. The rooms are spacious enough. The hotel itself is very well-maintained, quiet, and in the heart of the city. The location is just spot on: it is very close to almost all the main sights of the city. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are air-conditioned. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so we can't say much about it. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby.

This was our first time staying at the Prestige. The Prestige was very quiet and within easy access to everything via metro, bus or taxi.

The room was wonderful and the bed was \"heavenly\"!! Great breakfast buffet and the location is just next to the river and Chain Bridge; right in the heart of the city center.

The Prestige staff was extremely helpful helping us book a wonderful Masseur who came to our room with everything necessary to work the kinks out after a long day of walking/sight seeing. The staff also assisted with coordinating a car to take us to the airport.

There are lots of great restaurants nearby and I highly recommend Dunacorso & Gundel. Both are outstanding and must eat at restaurants in Budapest. Make a reservation so you're sure to experience these wonderful restaurants.

Clean room, lovely property and very hospitable. The only change we noticed since staying last time is a nightclub on the back of the hotel that plays Thursday to Saturday night from 11pm to 5am. While not loud per se you do hear the persistent beat and hum. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The hotel is mostly clean and modern. The staff is very nice. We had an issue with bathroom shower door … which couldn’t be resolved and had to change rooms, twice. The staff tried to accommodate but their suite is not designed for 3 adults, so bedroom has a nice king size bed, but in the living room it’s just a couch (not reclining, so for very short person) and they can bring a rollaway bed which is super uncomfortable. First floor has a nice high calling, 5th floor is like at attic with very low ceiling. Some rooms have steps…. Also curtains had stains.

We had an amazing stay at Prestige and would highly recommend staying there. The staff are very helpful, they gave us a good number of recommendations for restaurants and additional sights. The hotel is central to all sights and you can easily get around on foot. You are spoilt for choice for restaurants nearby and the hotel decor looks very premium and luxurious.

They have a relaxing room you can go to after a long day of walking (jacuzzi and spa), and they treated us with chocolates everyday. There's a coffee machine in the room, clean and modern bathroom with all amenties, comfortable bed with two types of pillows and i cant fault anything!

I had a great stay at the Prestige. Good location in downtown area of Budapest and within easy walking distance of scenic Danube area. Overall a nice, well maintained facility; reception folks were friendly, professional and very helpful. My room was spacious, very clean, well furnished and comfortable. A top class restaurant facility (the Cortes) directly accessible from the lobby had great buffet breakfasts and an impressive, very creative and delicious dinner menu. Good value overall.

What an amazing place to stay.
The staff from the minute you walk through the doors until you have to unfortunately leave and check out are sublime. Very attentive and kind, more then happy to help you in every way.
The room was spacious and well equiped for all our needs.
The hot tub and sauna was class,very well kept and clean.
Food onsite restaurant was unbelievable. Would highly recommend on your stay.
Perfect location with all the sights of Budapest on your doorstop.

I was upgraded to a suite, which was a stunning room, with large windows overlooking the street and high ceilings. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had excellent water pressure.
I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary small bottles of water, chocolates at night and the next day's weather written out on a card.
