This hotel has spectacular surroundings. This was our first stop in Italy and the staff were kind in helping us get acclimated. It is an easy bus ride up to hike the Tre Cime.

Great location! Really close to cortina and tre cime. The room is nothing fancy but has all the essentials and is very clean. The parking is a bit tight has they only have a few official parking spots and you have to park among the trees. Breakfast was different breads/rolls, powdered cooked eggs, bacon pieces, pasteries, 2 cereals, yogurt coffee, and juice. To get to the hotel, there is a dirt road you pull into and then take the right road (not the one that goes down into the canal) to get to it for like a minute or 2.

The food at dinner was extremely overpriced and not even close to being delicious. And just forget the breakfast! The overall atmosphere felt more like a hospital than a hotel—cold and unwelcoming. Rooms were below basic standards with no comfort, and the hallways and dining area were so poorly lit it felt unsafe and unpleasant.
Definitely not even close to worth the price.

Secluded beautiful chalet in the Dolomites
It was a beautiful & secluded stay on the eastern side of the Dolomites. We loved the property view and watching the cows with their bells. Delicious breakfast was included and lawn chairs on the property to enjoy the views.

The property was a little run down. The molding was broken in our room and there was no top sheets on the bed. Some of the staff were very helpful, while others clearly did not like tourists.

Another negative is that restaurant is under-staffed and over-worked, including an elderly gentleman. Ownership should increase their budget to get more seasonal staff.

Lovely location and perfect for our one night stay as close to Tre Cime where we wanted to hike. The hotel is in the forest surrounded by all the beautiful Mountains so a special place. Location of this hotel is great to several hikes- including Tre Cime. We chose this hotel for that purpose, however, there is NOTHING else around it. We chose to have dinner here and it was pitiful. Took 2 hours, ordered roast beef and got cold meat on a plate with chunks of cheese. It was 10 Euros per person (NOT WORTH IT)! We skipped breakfast because the experience was awful. The room however was comfortable and a good size. They speak little English here and the value for your money is very poor.

But the heating was not working and the credit card machine was not working, so we had to drive out of our way to find an ATM machine. Luckily, my phone helped me find the ATM because the directions were unclear and confusing. Rooms are very simple and basic furnishing. They could use some updating. Food was OK. We stayed with our two daughters and the family room was simple but comfortable.

Like a National Park Lodge!
This hotel is surrounded by the Dolomites and so staying here is comparable to staying in a National Park lodge in the US but at a fraction the price, and with much better food! Their breakfast is generous. Our trip was for skiing and the hotel is right on popular x-c- trails and provides easy access to some more remote backcountry touring, as well as access to the bus to Cortina and other downhill areas.

Very clean, family-oriented hotel a short drive from Rifugio Auronzo and Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The hotel is secluded in woods and a little difficult to find, but it offers beautiful views and pleasant quiet.

There are no signposts and moving a metal railing and an electric fence (to keep the cows in) was slightly odd.
Don't be put off though as the staff were very friendly, the facilities were good and it was pretty cheap as well.
The location is great for the mountains (monte piana, Misurina, tre cime) but no so good if you want to go out in the evening as this involves a decent drive.
I would definitely go back, it is very quirky and still has the feel of a work in progress.
Also it's difficult to not to smile when a herd of cows complete with loud bells stand and watch you eat breakfast through the kitchen window.....

It is a cool hotel for hikers. We were there in the summer. It is located close to tre cime and you can do a walk up to tre cime from hotel, so you avoid parking issues. Route 102. Good breakfast and you can book dinner.

Nei, det her funket ikke for oss. Helt sikkert helt ok om du kun er der for å gå i fjellet og ikke er opptatt av komfort/service eller å spiser god mat. Rommene var triste, super lytt overalt. Et gammelt sykehjem eller noe som er gjort om til \"hotell\" (noe jeg ikke ville kalt det). Tilhørende restaurant var helt tragisk - bare trist faktisk. Vi dro til et annet hotell en dag før vi skulle selv med forhåndsbetalt rom. Man ser fine fjell og natur fra uteplassen da men.. Som sagt, er du ikke opptatt av komfort er det sikkert ok. Jeg kommer ikke til å dra tilbake.
