Gem of a hotel.
Total gem of a hotel spotless and smells divine. Staff are so pleasent and helpful nothing too much trouble. Lady cooks the best omelette and pancakes. Breakfast is so fresh and tasty lots of options. Room was amazing sea view coming back again for sure.

Peaceful and quiet surroundings with a great location close to the beach. The food was really good, cocktails were excellent, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The only downsides were some ants in the room and that the rooms weren’t very soundproof — in the mornings you could hear the cleaning staff in the hall and other guests. Overall though, still a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Nilo & Spa on 08/16/25 and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The AC in our room was not working, yet the front desk insisted it was fine instead of addressing the problem. After repeated complaints and asking to speak with management, they finally promised either a repair by morning or a refund. The AC was eventually fixed, but only after unnecessary stress and arguments with multiple staff.

I loved everything about this hotel apart from the frosted glass door on the bathroom. Please invest in a proper door for privacy. And the pillows were not very good. Everything else was wonderful.

Loved the quiet haven away from the busy beach and shopping area. Loved the huge mix of European guests. Loved the generous breakfast selection. Loved the fact there was no daytime entertainment and the evenings were very low key. Staff could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend this little gem.

The condition of the rooms is very tired and in need of an update, although clean and bathroom was of high standard. Daily cleaning of room could have included a mop or good sweep to take away sand. The walls are thin, kept awake by next room who were up all night having an early morning flight, with a lot of noise caused by beds which scrape along floor.
This hotel finds itself between being an adult only and a family hotel and ends up not catering that well for either in terms facilties, with older adults at pool being continually annoyed by children and staff telling children they can't jump in pool or throw a ball. The pool is small and most of it too deep for none swimmers. All staff were very attentive and friendly at all times, they all worked very hard. The pancake lady was just lovely.
The breakfast was varied and mostly good , although bought and used own butter as the butter provided was awful. Only tried evening meal once, it was very nice but a little expensive, especially when children from 12 have to pay for full price adult meal.

The hotel is lovely and relaxing area around the pool. Not much entertainment provided and none at all on the weekend in August was surprising- Bar staff very attentive and friendly and Matty on reception desk has to get a special mention always so helpful and friendly.What we didnt like was the beds were uncomfortable and as our room was on 1st floor room 105 the noise every morning from early with the maids above dragging furniture was really hard to be woken every day this way. .

Overall was alright , but don't expect much from the staff. The description on hotels.com isn't correct ! no free car park belong to the hotel. You can park in a free council park 5 mins walk from the hotel if you find a place ! No grantee , the staff basically said NO to us to park the car and not even given us a chance for 1 day to park at there car park!
They tricked us and gave us a room with a small window no balcony or patio as per description ! I paid £125 per night ! I had to complain the second day of my stay as the room did;t meet the expectations, luckily it was resolved and they gave us a balcony room !
Also, our first morning I woke up on screaming of the room service lady at 8:30 ! shouting Sorry sorry inside the room ...... ( it felt like a jock ! nothing like 4 star hotel)

They claimed to be VIP but did not offer anything during the check-in. Instead, they sent us to the small facility with four floors without an elevator. We had to carry all our heavy pieces of luggage using the stairs. The room was very smelly (like old and dirty). There is nothing of VIP hotel in that room. Location is great. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Great Value - stayed in one of the apartments
I was warmly welcomed by Christian on arrival and accommodated in an apartment across the road, 20 metres from the main hotel. There was also a beautiful atrium in the entrance with tropical plants and small ponds with fish, and downstairs a large private pool for the apartment guests (12 apartments in all). I was given a parking space underground with a wireless entry key which saved so much hassle as I was travelling around during my stay. The beach, shops and restaurants were only 200 metres away, and I used the main hotel facilities. I booked bread an breakfast and the choice at breakfast time was incredible. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful in all respects, and the hotel was super value for money!

The Wifi is next to useless unless you are close to the reception area and they use very old fashioned logins with bits of paper code for each unit. The breakfast is fantastic, but the eggs are precooked so are not fresh, but the rest of the breakfast food is great. The hotel makes no effort to promote their Restaurant for dinner or provide guests with a menu outside of the restaurant. Smoking is permitted at any location around the pool making it impossible for non smokers to sit away from the smokers and it would be easy for them to segregate this large area. Pool is great though. This hotel is predominantly geared for German tourists who smoke a lot.

I think we may have been the only English people staying at the hotel which was a nice surprise. Despite our very basic Spanish and even less German all the staff went out of their way to make an effort to make sure we were well looked after. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel garden and pool areas were great to relax in so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast options were very good and the lovely lady who cooked the eggs and squeezed the oranges was a real character. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and professional. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend this hotel and resort to anyone.

We had a great time at Grupotel Nilo. The hotel is nicely furnished & the decor is inviting. The staff are very friendly & welcoming. The food is excellent & there is plenty of choice. The swimming pool looked inviting but it was a little too cold to give it a try. The hotel is located up a side road from tbe main street in Paguera and was in a quiet location but was handy for all amenities and local buses. The staff speak mainly Spanish & German but this didn't cause any problems, a smile is understandable in any language! All in all a great holiday, many thanks to all the staff.

Das Hotel ist weder besonders schlecht noch besonders gut – einfach sehr durchschnittlich. Alles ist alt und wirkt ziemlich abgenutzt – angefangen bei der kaum funktionierenden Klimaanlage über das Mobiliar bis hin zu den Bädern, die dringend renoviert werden müssten.
Vielleicht spricht dieser Stil eine bestimmte Zielgruppe an? Die meisten Gäste schienen 60+ zu sein. Aber es geht hier nicht ums Alter, sondern eher um eine bestimmte Mentalität. Ich hatte das Gefühl, als wären sowohl das Hotel als auch viele seiner Gäste in den 70er oder 80er Jahren stehengeblieben – und leider ohne jegliche Lebendigkeit.
Das Frühstück wäre eigentlich sehr lecker, aber durch die fehlende oder kaum funktionierende Klimaanlage kaum genießbar.
Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind wirklich sehr freundlich – aber was sollen sie großartig tun, wenn die Ausstattung so veraltet ist? Es fühlt sich fast so an, als wäre ich in ein Seniorenheim gereist…
Auf dem Balkon stehen alte, abgenutzte Stühle und ein klappriger Tisch – alles wirkt sehr veraltet.

Vielleicht spricht dieser Stil eine bestimmte Zielgruppe an? Die meisten Gäste schienen 60+ zu sein. Aber es geht hier nicht ums Alter, sondern eher um eine bestimmte Mentalität. Ich hatte das Gefühl, als wären sowohl das Hotel als auch viele seiner Gäste in den 70er oder 80er Jahren stehengeblieben – und leider ohne jegliche Lebendigkeit.
Das Frühstück wäre eigentlich sehr lecker, aber durch die fehlende oder kaum funktionierende Klimaanlage kaum genießbar.
Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind wirklich sehr freundlich – aber was sollen sie großartig tun, wenn die Ausstattung so veraltet ist? Es fühlt sich fast so an, als wäre ich in ein Seniorenheim gereist…
Auf dem Balkon stehen alte, abgenutzte Stühle und ein klappriger Tisch – alles wirkt sehr veraltet.

Благодаря наличию двух бронирований с перерывом в два дня снова вернулась в этот Отель. К моему сожалению, мне не смогли найти номер и даже не предложили помочь с поиском другого отеля, просто сказали до свидания. Хорошо, что рядом оказался очень приличный Отель 3* , причём даже гель для душа в таком же флаконе с надписью Gruphotel Nilo, так что разницы я не ощутила в классе отелей.
По возвращению, сотрудник ресепшен сделал мне апгрейд номера и с улыбкой отдал мне ключ. Номер оказался в другом корпусе, апартаменты, достаточно темные, мрачные на первом этаже , терраса около дороги и окна с видом на оживлённый Перекресток.
В моем корпусе рядом с моим номером окопался Спа центр и я очень обрадовалась.
Но каково было моё разочарование и недоумение, когда во всех саунах и в зоне бассейна я увидела отдыхающих как на нудистском пляже немецких гостей.
Зрелище не очень приятное, и Спа центр для меня в этом отеле закрылся.

Расположение в райском уголке Майорки, который называется Пагуэра, в 5 минутах от одного из самых красивых пляжей острова.
Замечательные завтраки и такие же ужины, разнообразные, с большим выбором мясных и рыбных блюд. Каждый день можно попробовать все блюда испанской и майоркинской кухни.
Шеф повар и его команда обеспечивают высокий рейтинг этого отеля.
Однако на этом все плюсы заканчиваются ...
Номера достаточно скромные, постельное белье серого цвета, такие же застиранные полотенца, даже туалетная бумага серая .
Руководство отеля подходит очень серьезно к охране окружающей среды, поэтому в номерах отеля 4 * вам предложат только гель для душа в большом флаконе, остальное по запросу на ресепшн.
Но самая главная проблема этого отеля - это сотрудники ресепшен и избирательное хорошее отношение только к немецким гостям.
Отдохнуть спокойно не получилось - и номер рядом с лифтом, и столик на ужине почти на дороге. Можно это и случайность, но очень много неприятных совпадений.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schon bei der Ankunft an der Rezeption, im Restaurant der Chef de Rang, die Köche, die Servicemitarbeiter/-Innen, sowie die Kellner von der Bar, alle hatten ein freundliches Lächeln und waren äußerst hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen.
Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die Damen vom Zimmerservice sind sehr aufmerksam und haben ebenfalls immer ein freundliches Lächeln.
