The receptionist was rude and I had to wait over an hour just to check in, the room had strong cleaning chemical odour and the heat was not working. From the reception to the lift you will have to physically lift your heavy suitcase or baggage as they don’t have flat surface that takes you to the lift.

This hotel is advertised as four stars, but unfortunately my experience was far from that standard. Future guests should be aware of several issues before booking.

Cleanliness was a recurring concern — I found hair on the towels, mold in the bathroom, and dirty communal areas. The shower drain in my room was clogged and remained so even after I reported it. The bed had no proper frame, squeaked and shifted constantly, and the fridge provided neither cooling nor complimentary water. There was also no kettle available, which made even a simple cup of tea impossible.

Service was equally disappointing. The reception staff were curt and unhelpful, pointing vaguely in the direction of rooms instead of guiding guests — which can mean wandering through multiple floors or blocks with luggage. Requests for assistance were met with indifference.

Breakfast options were extremely limited, not what you would expect from a four-star property. Despite being marketed as non-smoking, the balcony doors are not airtight, so smoke from neighboring rooms easily drifts in.

Overall, while the hotel may look appealing on the surface, the reality is poor maintenance, subpar service, and a lack of basic amenities. I would advise future guests to manage expectations or consider alternative accommodation if they are seeking a true four-star experience.

They ruined my holiday…the most shameful hotel it is and what surprised me is everyone i mate in the hotel was saying that.especially the supervisor doesn’t no to do his job. I advised him to take some more training on the job.normal reception do better job than him!

A deeply disappointing experience—rudeness and disregard from staff

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay was so upsetting I feel compelled to warn others. From the moment I arrived, the staff were dismissive and downright rude. I wasn’t greeted with warmth or professionalism—instead, I was made to feel like a burden.

The atmosphere lacked any sense of hospitality, and my concerns were brushed aside without care. What should have been a relaxing escape turned into a stressful, disheartening experience. I left feeling humiliated and emotionally drained.

I expected better from a property with this reputation. If you value kindness, respect, and basic courtesy, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We loved our stay at Ona Palmira Paguera! The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful. Flavia suggested some great restaurants for us to go to. The hotel is beautiful with 2 pools and lots of amenities. The breakfast in the morning was very well stocked and staffed. The food was delicious. Our room was a bit dated, I think we may have been in an older building, but it was still nice. The A/C wasn't working great, but we managed. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. It was a wonderful place to stay for our quick holiday and we will be back again someday!

To start, we were greeted by Flavia, she was fantastic and I old us about the best places to eat nearby and so on.

We stayed for 3 nights. A common theme for this hotel is everything is behind a paywall. For instance, if you want to use the sauna or Jacuzzi i think it’s €7 per hour.
The pool closes at 6 pm which I found to be way too early (sunset is at 8:30).

One of the worst experiences was talking to a member of the customer service, I believe his name was Fabio. Fabio was very rude and almost yelled at us when we asked them to use the sauna after 6.
I have never felt more uncomfortable or upset while staying at a hotel that is supposed to be 4 stars.

Also the towels are also to be rented fyi. In terms of condition, the hotel is very very old. You could tell from the room.

I didn't like this hotel at all. There are so many points, but I will only list the most important ones now. First of all, nobody greets you when you walk past (staff). They all come across as arrogant and lacking in joie de vivre. The food is the same every day with minimal variety in the evening, if you want to get snacks upstairs at the reception, they take 40 minutes or longer to bring the food. On arrival no one accompanied us to our room and we were not told what was in the hotel. Our room was also never fully cleaned, something was always forgotten. During the 2 weeks I was there, our room was only cleaned thoroughly and nicely once and that was by a small dark skinned woman, much love to you! I have traveled many times and I have never experienced anything like this. In my opinion, this hotel deserves 3 stars at most.

A couple of Reception staff ( short guy with Muscles) and dark haired lady very very rude, unfriendly and really unhelpful . One lady in bar staff ( same dark haired lady on reception)
very rude , not interested in serving and not interested in being polite.
Restaurant staff very nice, as were the cleaning staff..
Food was very good !
Room very basic, no coffee or tea making facilities.
Expedia website says room safe is free, charged me 20 euros,
website says swim up bar !
, This is completely closed.. No swim up bar, the bar is closed down. Cigarette ends around bottom pool area,not cleaned up over a few days.. No entertainment or music, the staff said there was none this season at all.
Forget indoor swim pool this is closed for season and they charge yet again for jacuzzi..
Finally on leaving , we asked to store our suitcases , were told to put in an old restaurant, with everyone else’s , this is open to everyone in the hotel , anything could have been stolen!
A Promised shower room downstairs before leaving, tried to charge me £4 euro per towel !
Reception Asked would I stay here again ? Definitely a resounding NO!
There are really nice 4 star hotels in Paguera, we had to visit in the evenings for entertainment( Free) .. and much better service and friendliness, visited Hotel Valentin(4 star) and HSM linda(3 star) both wiped the floor with Ona Palmira.
I would NOT stay here again..

Certainty it's grounds which are quite well maintained, plenty of roses and other plants. Quite a large site. General amenities were good. Two large swimming pools. Hotel rooms were quite spacious. Remember to pack a portable kettle, as there are no tea or coffee making facilities within the room. General cleanliness is good. A short walk to the respective beaches. Plenty of beachware and small convenience stores nearby. Recommend also the boat excursions. The sea is safe to swim in and well life guarded during the holiday season.

I was quite happy with this hotel, the staff are very welcoming and lovely. The facilities are fantastic. But, the pool was very cold, the indoor pool was the same, also the jacuzzi. It was quite windy so I was hoping the pool would be warm. I was not sure where the spa facilities were, there wasn’t an updated sauna room or steam room, felt a bit abandoned. The bed was a little uncomfortable due to the sheets not feeling too cared for, and the bed moving a lot. Other than that, the team makes you feel better about these things. I may not book again, based on feeling more open to other options next time. I will still like to thank the hotel staff for all their hard work.

Great hotel if you want to experience the hotel instead of sightseeing as they have all the amenities in the hotel. A 5 minute from the beach and other restaurants so it was very convenient. Check in and check out was extremely easy and staff at the reception was friendly however cannot say the same about some of the staff working in the hotel. Breakfast had a great variety and the man making the eggs was very friendly! The hotel was clean and the layout and aesthetics was a highlight. The AC was not as strong though in the rooms. We booked a deluxe room which was beautiful and housekeeping were great to ensure it was clean and tidy. There is also good transport links to old town and the airport though it is intermittent. The views of the area from the hotel balcony was also great.

Overall it's good to stay. Free public parking are available next to building.
Room is clean, wifi is OK.
We are asked by reception when checked in regarding breakfast pack for date of check out because early check out, it was so kind and nice, but when checked out nothing is prepared and reception said only excuse....
Big disapointed at the end of stay.

Staff at the reception supposed to book a taxi for us as I have requested one day prior the flight back to Liverpool but unfortunately no Taxi was booked and We had to manage it again on the same day when was our flight. Very stressful.
Staff servicing us during our half board not friendly, very selectively choose people and the most German tourists.
English language need to be improved!

Have been to Peguera many times but never stayed here. We will definately book again. Lovely clean and spacious room. We were given an uograde from a double to a junior suite. Friendly staff. Breakfast had so much chouce and a lovely area to sit around the pool. Definately a place for couples as lovely and quiet.

Lovely stay in Peguera

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Good location just back off the main strip and only 5 mins to the beach. Only had the breakfast but can say that there was lots of choice . Nice room overlooking the pool which itself was clean and there was no shortage of sunbeds. Only minus point was the fact that you have to rent the safe. Not sure that is what you expect at a 4 star hotel

Les points positif :
-Pas d’attente à la réception et personnel agréable.
- Chambre propre et vue du balcon
-La variété des aliments
-Le service était rapide et accessible pour manger

LES POINTS NÉGATIFS :
-Personnel de la restauration désagréable : ils nous ont forcé à payer une bouteille non voulu (attention pas d’eau gratuite pour le dîner)
-Pas clair au niveau des instructions sur les services de spa, hammam… nous avons été déçu de payer 8€ seulement pour le spa alors que nous avions compris avoir le jacuzzi aussi. De plus il n’était pas privatisé, nous avons payé pour d’autres personnes…
-La QUALITÉ DES INGRÉDIENTS est vraiment mauvaise !!!!!!!
-La sécurité ne semble pas être une priorité.
-L’équipement des chambres es minimes (pas de mouchoirs, le minimum en terme d’équipements de douche…)

En bref, l’hôtel ne vaut pas ses 4 hôtels mais bon rapport qualité prix.

Zimmer war ok, ein paar Ameisen.
Frühstück war sehr chaotisch. Zu wenig Personal im die Tische rechtzeitig für nächste Gäste fertig zu machen und zu wenig Teller und Besteck.
Sonst lecker.
In der Hotelanlage ist sonst echt wenig los, kaum Leute die Abends noch am Pool sitzen oder noch etwas trinken.

Personalet der kunne snakke engelsk var rigtig søde og meget behjælpelige (mindre muskuløs mand var særligt meget sød og problemløsende), fedt med en tennisbane, dog nogle mega dårlige hovedpuder, vi havde virkelig ondt i skuldrene hele ugen.. Desværre.
Værelserne er også meget lydte, vi kunne høre hver gang en dør lukkede (smækkede) og var også meget uheldige en af nætterne, at høre et par der kun skulle bo der en nat, snakke meget højt, se tv og have sex 3 gange på en nat.. meget trættende….

Die Zimmer (Fotos auf der Expedia Seite) scheint es nicht zu geben. Die tatsächlichen deluxezimmer sind ernüchternd. Wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer mit etwas größerem Bett . (Vorher 1,5m)
Zwar einer riesigen tollen dachterrasse, aber genau dort ist auch die küchenabluft . Also nicht nutzbar , weil es nur nach fett und essen roch .

Unser Zimmer war schön und sauber, allerdings hat die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert. Das war in unserem Fall halb so wild, weil wir uns kaum im Zimmer aufgehalten haben, aber Nachts hätte ich mir gelegentlich schon eine funktionierende Klimaanlage gewünscht. Das komplette Personal war ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend, insbesondere meiner Tochter gegenüber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war üppig und lecker. Würden wieder dort einchecken

Eigentlich eine gute Hotelanlage, auch mit der Fusion der beiden nebeneinander liegenden Hotels. Leider hatten wir nur ein 18 m2 Zimmer, weswegen wir keine Ablagemöglichkeiten hatten, weder im Bad noch im Zimmer selbst - gebucht war ein 30 m2 großes Zimmer. Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, weshalb wir keine Nacht durchschlafen konnten. Und dieses war ein ganz großes Manko.

Das Hotel entspricht max. einem 3 Sterne Hotel und nicht wie angegeben 4 Sterne. Unser Zimmer sollte dringend renoviert werden. Trotz der Freundlichkeit des Personals sowie des ausreichenden Frühstücksbuffets würde ich dieses Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Für einen Kurztrip ist das Hotel passend, schnell erreichbar vom Flughafen, tolle Parkmöglichkeiten auch in der Nacht. Frühstück war hervorragend. Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und sauber, aber das einzige Manko was es gibt man muss für den Safe zahlen und dann wurde bei Ankunft nicht kommuniziert von der Rezeption aus.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön Pool auch sehr schön. Allerdings sind die Zimmer wünschenswert. Die Matratzen extrem hart und man spürt die Federn, Klimaanlage tropfte Das Problem wurde gemeldet und nach fünf Tagen immer noch nicht behoben. wir haben den Tresor bezahlt, und er war nicht freigeschaltet. Erst nach drei Tagen. Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt. Erst nach zwei Tagen. Als wir darauf hingewiesen haben, wurde das Zimmer gereinigt.

Jeg boede i en af familie værelserne, på den ‘hvide’ del, der var meget lydt, man kunne høre alt ude på gangen. Billederne på hotellet er meget flottere end i virkeligheden. Det ligner det er 2 hoteller som er ‘fusioneret’? Der blev gjort rent hverdag og der var lækker stor morgenmads buffet.

Le confort sur la literie était à revoir, car les bougeait et les matelas n’étaient pas confortable.
Le personnel de l’hôtel était plus que top, un grand remerciement à Mercedes (agent d’accueil) du soir qui nous a très bien accueilli. le petit déjeuner était très complet juste… les jus de fruits qui étaient très sucré. mais sinon superbe séjour.

Il y a eu tromperie ! C'est 2 hôtels en 1, c'est l'usine !. Un hôtel 4 étoiles (ONA group) a racheté son hôtel 3 étoiles voisin (PALMIRA). Donc, toutes les chambres Standards et Deluxe sont du côté 3 étoiles et clients y sont délaissés, cartes d'accès ne fonctionnent pas, coffre fort payant ne s'ouvre pas, frigo qui fait de la chaleur... Parking payant 10 €/jour sans surveillance, pas de lumière. Petit déjeuners et repas demi pension corrects mais nourriture bas de gamme, grasse, répétitives. Il faut traverser 1 piscine, 2 jardins pour atteindre la réception (car pas de réception du côté 3 étoiles, l'entrée est sur une autre rue. Hall d'entrée sans surveillance. Ne vous faites pas avoir. Il y a d'autres hôtels, mieux organisés, dans la même rue. La location de voiture à l'aéroport est une arnaque : faut prendre toutes les assurances proposées. Sinon, vous perdez votre caution. Une VRAIE MAFIA, comme partout en ESP (SP).

Das Hotel ist sehr groß mit 700 Gästen. Das merkt man aber nur im Speisesaal und anhand der belegten Liegen am Pool, diese sind für die hohe Anzahl an Gästen leider zu wenig. Es gibt zwei Pools, die sehr schön, sauber und erfrischend sind.
Die unmittelbare Umgebung des Hotel ist ruhig und man schaut direkt auf begrünte Hügel. Paguera ist leider an sich kein schöner Ort - sehr touristisch mit vielen Ramsch Läden. An dem Ort sind unfassbar viele Deutsche.
Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Hotelzimmer modern. Hier hat die Klimaanlage leider nicht sehr gut funktioniert, sodass wir nachts lieber die Balkontür auf gelassen haben.
Das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich (Buffet) und man hat auch zum Ende der Öffnungszeiten des Buffets noch von allen Gerichten genug bekommen. Die meisten Servicekräfte dort sind recht gestresst, was bei der hohen Gästeanzahl im Speisesaal aber verständlich ist.

Wir hatten ein Deluxezimmer in Block 3. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und zeigen deutliche Gebrauchsspuren. Die Sauberkeit war verbesserungswürdig – Bettwäsche und Kissen wiesen Flecken auf. Zudem ist das Gebäude sehr hellhörig, was die Erholung beeinträchtigt hat.

Das Frühstück war vielfältig: süße und herzhafte Gebäcke, frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen, wechselnde Specials (z. B. Donuts), sowie gute Auswahl an Marmeladen, Käse, Wurst, Müsli, Honig und frischem Obst. Die Qualität war insgesamt in Ordnung, aber leider waren alle Gläser, Tassen, Teller und Bestecke nicht sauber, was den Gesamteindruck deutlich getrübt hat.

Das WLAN funktionierte in unserem Zimmer gar nicht. Beim Check-out haben wir sämtliche Kritikpunkte angesprochen – leider kam darauf keine nennenswerte Reaktion.

Positiv ist die Lage: direkt am Boulevard und nur wenige Gehminuten zum Strand. Die Parkplatzsituation in Paguera ist schwierig. Das Hotel bietet eigene Parkplätze, allerdings für 22 € pro Tag – das finden wir zu teuer.

Fazit: Gutes Frühstück und tolle Lage, aber Schwächen bei Sauberkeit, Service und Ausstattung.

The air conditioning in the room was great and the view too. The breakfast was a good addition and everything was available. Yes, I could go again. The swimming pool was also nice. The hotel area was also clean and the cleaning was done every day. The beach was within walking distance and you could also take the bus to Palma.

Travelled with family for a week trip. The standard of the hotel was not what we expected. We did not get good service, especially one of the reception staff (short man with muscles) was rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. While the hotel manager was a very nice person, service minded and helpful. The blocks we stayed in had a bit more walking distance and no lift that could be used between the main reception and our block. We had to carry all our suitcases via many stairs around the garden area and the pools. The room was basic, and there was no coffee or tea making facilities. The breakfast buffet was very good, but the dinner was not very good. I don't think we will return to this hotel with this standard!

O hotel tem algumas falhas que prejudicam a experiência. Há dois blocos mais novos que são afastados da recepção e é muito ruim chegar a eles com a bagagem (distância, escadas, ladeiras). Não há serviço de maleteiro e o próprio hóspede deve levar suas malas por toda a distância e obstáculos. Isso foi o que mais me impressionou negativamente e, apesar de o hotel ter uma boa estrutura, não me hospedaria novamente.

Ein wirklich besonderes Zimmer, das ich ganz besonders zu schätzen weiß! Vielen Dank dafür!
Dennoch nur 4 Sterne, weil das Frühstück zum Dorn im Augen würde: - das Personal beim Frühstück war nicht so sonderlich freundlich und stand mehr in der Gegend herum und unterhielt sich lauthals, als für die Gäste da zu sein. Die Anordnung der Speisen ist sehr ungünstig, so dass sich die Gäste ständig auf den Füßen herumstehen oder sich umrennen. Und letztlich der Gestank nach Abgasen, der sich ausgerechnet an den Tischen draußen am Swimmingpool hielt, trug nicht zu einem erholsamen Frühstück bei.

Si j’aurais été convenable, le seul problème que je relève, c’est le fait d’être arrivé après minuit et de ne pas avoir pu joindre la réception car ils ont trois accès et nous étions à 12 sans savoir qu’il y en avait deux autres. Wir hatten einen Balkon auf der 4 etage mit einem guten ausblick. Das essen war gut , es war für jeden was dabei. Getränkepreise fürs abendessen für 0,2l waren zu hoch. Hotelparkplätze haben gekostest, allerdings unten an der Straße gab es ansich genügend parkmöglichkeiten, sonst muss man die gegend abfahren.

Im gesamten waren wir vom aufenhalt sehr zufrieden für einen insgesamt guten preis.

Insgesamt sehr gut. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, das Frühstück wirklich gut und die Zimmer sind vernünftig ausgestattet und haben eine gute Größe. Lage ist ruhig, aber dennoch zentral.

Abzug gibt es für die Sauberkeit, die könnte verbessert werden (Geschirr beim Frühstück war leider durchweg nicht richtig abgewaschen und die Bettwäsche hatte teilweise Flecken und Löcher).

Cet établissement est proche de la plage, des commerces, bars et restaurants.

Das Hotel entspricht definitiv keinem 4-Sterne-Standard, nicht mal in Landeskategorie. Bei der Anreise wurden uns lediglich die Zimmerkarten übergeben, keine weitere Erklärung zur Anlage und Essenszeiten. Das Zimmer an sich wurde zwar renoviert, war aber sehr klein und hellhörig. Man hörte sogar normale Unterhaltungen im Nebenzimmer. Im Bad befand sich keine Lüftung, sodass schnell ein modriger Geruch entstand. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten gerade mal zwei große Handtücher und ein kleines Handtuch. Beim Nachfragen an der Rezeption wurde uns mitgeteilt, es gäbe keine kleinen Handtücher mehr. Wenigstens bekamen wir ein weiteres Großes. Der größte Schrecken kam beim Abendessen. Die Atmosphäre glich einer Mensa. Alles war total durcheinander, das Essen einseitig und die „frischen“ Lebensmittel, wie Gurken, nicht mehr frisch. Überall im Raum standen Speisewagen, auf denen sich das schmutzige Geschirr stapelte. Für die alkoholfreien Getränke musste man ebenfalls zahlen. Auch hier erklärte einem keiner das Vorgehen, die Bestellung wurde aufgenommen und man bekam einen Zettel auf den Tisch gelegt, ohne dass klar war, was man damit machen muss. Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war ungenießbar und auch das Wasser aus dem Automaten schmeckte komisch. Man hat allerdings etwas zum Essen gefunden, auch frisches Obst. Verschieden Bereiche wirkten verlassen. Bei Buchung war uns nicht bewusst, dass scheinbar zwei Hotels zusammengelegt wurden. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel wirklich keinem!!!!!!!

Das Hotel liegt in einer wunderschönen Parkanlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Hauptgebäude.
Der Weg zum Hotel ist super zu Fuß zu erreichen und entgegen der andere Bewertungen hier wirklich keine Wanderung oder nennenswert steil. Zum Strand sind es maximal 10 Minuten.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war erste Sahne und die Mitarbeiter überdurchschnittlich freundlich. Bei einem verlorenen Gegenstand wurde alles in Bewegung gesetzt um uns helfen.
Jederzeit würde ich wiederkommen und das Hotel weiterempfehlen.
