I’ve never see such diligent room service. Every time we leave the room for more than an hour, we come back with a freshly made room - multiple times a day. Incredible service!

The lounge room was very convenient and so was the courtesy room. Needless to see the sea / beach is incredible too. 10/10 experience.

I had booked two rooms.
Deluxe room see view with balcony. One of the rooms had a disgusting smell, and so my family was removed to an inferior overlooking a street. It was all treated very casually and a great disappointment from such a reputable chain of properties.

We came back to the room after having dinner and the air condition was leaking so much water through the ceiling that we had to switch rooms at 12am. The resort did nothing to accommodate us just provided a new room. Not good customer service.

We had a lovely stay. Unfortunately the cafe was closed for the duration, the beach grille was not serving food for the duration and the restaurants were closed on certain nights. The rooms were nice but a bit tired, noisy fridge and smelly aircon.

The beauty of the property and grounds is only surpassed by the staff who went the extra distance to make my birthday memorable. I was a queen for the day!
The buffets provided so many delicious options that it was hard to pick. Next time we would probably just get breakfast included as there are so many restaurants in the area. It’s not a criticism of the hotel food.
It definitely is an older crowd who stay here as well.
Finally- get a terrace room for your own private tanning area.

The resort was lovely.
There was unfortunately one front desk staff member who was rude all week to us and I feel she may be better suited for a position that does not interact with customers. The remainder of the front staff were very friendly and welcoming all week.
I wish there would have been more of a variety of food options. There was only one restaurant open other than the buffet on any given night.

Nice hotel with lovely sea view room and big balcony. I wouldn't say it was 5 star, more like a good 4 star. Nice pool area, and a few steps from the beach. We enjoyed the live music in the Piano Bar on a couple of nights, and we also had a lovely meal in the Seaside Grill one evening.
However, the Preferred Club lounge was slightly disappointing. It was located near the front desk with no view, so felt like being in a back office, and the food selection was very limited (packaged sandwiches, pringles, chocolate bars, left over pastries from breakfast etc) and the same every day. Other places we've stayed in have offered a lot more variety and served things like hot delicacies and cold meat platters, so always a pleasure to see what they had each day.
We also used the gym a couple of times and noticed quite a lot of mold on the walls and in corners. Not very healthy when exercising.
Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and liked the hotel and its location very much. Definitely came home feeling revived, which was also helped by the beautiful October sunshine.

Initially was disappointed by our room in particular the view from the balcony, hotel responded positively to our complaint & moved us to a better room with a beautiful view, well done & appreciated.

Everything about the hotel is great, when booking pay extra for a balcony with a view of the Mediterranean, street view is poor.

Congratulations a 5 star hotel, with a real emphasis on quality and service, will return next year, highly recommended.

It was a nice hotel however aware it not on the private beach. It’s beach front but when you get access to the beach it’s not adults only & you have to purchase an umbrella and chairs. Nice dinner we got half broad which was a good idea breakfast and dinner was lovely and fresh, did have a late night snack one night and the sandwich was old and made me sick so stay away from midnight 24 hrs room service.. We did have a massage too at the spa it was very nice we failed asleep lol. Overall a nice place to stay a lot of couples

We did have a nice stay and enjoyed our holiday, but a couple of points for feedback and future guests to be aware of:

-Service at the poolside bar and in the restaurants was slow at times and we had to ask a couple of times for drinks
-The menus were not very accommodating for anyone with a lactose allergy (or vegans)
-Whilst described as 18 it was more a 55 resort with the atmosphere and entertainment geared to a much older crowd

Secrets Villamil is a fantastic hotel, high quality, and very relaxing environment. The staff are all friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They even gave us a free upgrade to a larger room with large balcony compared to what we had originally booked. The room was very spacious and comfortable and like the rest of the hotel it was spotlessly clean.
We don't normally take the half board option but were delighted we did as the food selection, quality and dining service was excellent both for breakfast and dinner.
For me the best part of the hotel is the beach front location. The rear of the hotel and the outlook from the beautiful lansdscaped grounds, wonderful pool area on the terrace or the external bar terrace area is stunning. I have to commend the staff who are responsible for the maintenance of the trees, garden and external pool areas as they were all immaculate. Especially considering there was a storm the day before we arrived, they very quickly tidied up the storm debris and brought everything back to being pristine within 24 hours!
The sun beds are very high quality and there are none of the usual shortages you can get at other hotels. The ability to stay in the secure hotel grounds but only be 25 to 50 yards to the beach and sea if you want it is fab.
We had a great time and would like to thank all the hotel staff for making such a memorable weeks stay. We have already recommended the hotel to some other family members and friends!

This hotel has all the potential to be a “5 star” hotel, but it just misses the mark. It is very understaffed, with employees working multiple jobs in one day and even at the same time, leaving guests waiting for service at every point: at the valet, checking in, guest services, restaurants, pool, etc. There wasn’t even anyone to greet us upon arrival and I ended up having to hunt someone down to valet my car. Spanish hospitality is very hard to come by and this hotel is no exception. The “all-inclusive” option is a hoax, the restaurants try really hard to be fine-dining establishments by making you wait in between “courses” and adding embellishments to meals, but the food is just not good and don’t even step foot into that “Asian” restaurant, if you could even call it that. The breakfast and dinner buffets at first glance seem pretty good, but upon a closer look, you’ll find foods that have been sitting out for hours with no temperature control, flies infesting the fruit and meats, and overall very underwhelming. The only saving grace in terms of food is the poolside eatery, but again the wait for service is very long. Now the rooms are ok, just think Best Western or Motel 6 unless you have the foresight to book one of the “club member” rooms, which I thought when I paid over $5500 for 7 nights for an ocean view balcony room would afford me at least a “3 star” hotel room, but no; peeling paint, 2 twin beds pushed together to make, and terrible AC. Don’t waste your money!

I’m from the states and I was to say the service is impeccable! The experience manager is stunning with how much effort she puts into making sure the stay is wonderful for all guests. Can’t say enough great things about her and the the overall staff. First night we were there they had a very enjoyable boat ride that takes you out so you can see the ocean that surrounds the resort. The breakfast is great and large selection- eggs, omelet bacon, and champagne! Lots of nice restaurants at the hotel. Beautiful pool, and very clean. Outside the hotel- Mary Mar restaurant is a must! My wife’s birthday was during our stay- and we had a bottle of champagne waiting in the room along with a 20 minute massage for her From the hotel. She loved this surprise waiting in the room when we got home that evening. Every night we had chocolates on our bed along with two bottles of water. They were on top of everything at this resort It seemed like a lot older crowd arrived the last night which was September 6th. The only thing we would do differently is spend more time in Ibiza but has nothing to do with this resort. Make sure to explore the island because there is a lot to see in Mallorca if you’re not from the area. Magaluf is great and Canyon de la Calobra. Thanks! :)

Amazing hotel! I have just returned from staying 7 nights and all I can say is wow! The location of the hotel is fantastic, right on the beach although with the facilities at the hotel you probably won’t want to leave the pool. My room was great, for some reason I think mine was a little larger than others. The service was amazing, everyone is so friendly and the turndown service at night is a special treat. Can’t wait to go back again!

My husband and I recently spent 4 days at the Hesperia Mallorca Villamil. The location of the hotel is excellent. The back of the hotel faces a stretch of a beautiful, white, sandy beach. The hotel is expertly landscaped, has a crystal-clear swimming pool and lots of lounges. Hotel Villamil is located on a street where both sides are filled with restaurants, bars and clothing and food stores. The people are friendly but unfortunately most staff speak little or no English. This caused us to have problems with wake up calls, directions, general information and responding to our call that someone was trying to get into our room. Also, it's a 30 minute taxi ride to main city of Palma and the Medieval décor is not my taste.

Our stay at Hesperia Villamil was amazing. The resort is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. They have live music entertainment almost every night, one night they had a complimentary cocktail party and every Thursday they do a complimentary 2h boat ride around the bay. We didn't try to evening buffet but the breakfast buffet has everything you could ever want and the service is superb. There are plenty of shops and restaurants right outside but I would recommend googling them first as a lot are tourist traps with crappy food. We ate at Los Poetas Andaluces three times during our six night stay, amazing food and very reasonably priced.

Superb hotel which made our holiday. Staff were wonderful and attentive. Rooms cleaned in the morning and then turned down at night with bottle water replenished. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice- all very fresh. Local area is good too with many lovely restaurants- I advise people to look on tripadvisor to find the best!

We have been to Peguera many times over the last 20 years but never stayed at the Villamil until now. The hotel is right in the heart of the town and also right on the beach. We stayed with our two teenaged boys in two rooms. We upgraded our room so that we had a lovely view of the beach and bay otherwise we would not have liked the view over the main road and the 'chicken shop'. All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and approachable and someone is always on hand 24 hours a day to help. The facilities are excellent. The only minor criticism would be that the Gym is small and would benefit from more space, equipment and free weights. Otherwise we could not fault the hotel and would recommend it if you are after a relaxing holiday in a quieter part of this beautiful island.

Very comfortable hotel amd room with wonderful sea view. While we were there we had an issue with our hot water that was very swiftly solved. But for the trouble the hotel thought they had caused, they gifted us a bottle of Cava and macaroons. Such a nice gesture.

5 Star Hotel Right on the Beach!

The hotel is located right at the center of the Peguera Bay. When we booked, we made sure that we got the breakfast. Often times you have to hunt for a breakfast place but they actually have a restaurant right across the street. We never went because the breakfast was excellent - made to order omelettes, pancakes, crepes, fruits, meats, cheeses, and pastries. The pool is very nice and there is ample room for everyone, especially since you can walk right out to the beach. We did both. Also, previous visitors left inflatables and umbrellas for newcomers to use. We took advantage of it! The ocean water was amazing - crystal clear and warm! Each night they have some kind of entertainment from 9-10. The staff was great. The best thing about the hotel is the fantastic view and location!!! There's also tons of shopping and restaurants right outside of the hotel. We loved Mallorca!

Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of champagne - good start! The reception staff were extremely abrupt and almost ordered us around - not impressed! We had two rooms which had a fantastic outside area - huge private terrace with sun beds overlooking the beach. The pool and outdoor areas of the hotel are great and well maintained. I can't say the same for the rooms - very in need of an update which was a shame. Hotel was in a great location - steps to the beach and from reception to the shops and restaurants again only steps. Huge selection of good fresh foods for the breakfast buffet. Overall good hotel but in need of some serious updating.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location

This was our first time in Paguera although we are regular visitors to Mallorca. We would certainly stay at this hotel again as it was pretty much perfect for our needs.

Central location,amazing sea view, helpful staff

We gave just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at the Hotel Villamil in Peguera.
We had a seaview balcony room which was quite small but the views are incredible. you can here waves hit the beach.
The hotel staff were excellent, form organising car hire to a courtesy room on the final day.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful but we didn't have dinner in the hotel as we were surrounded by restaurants.

A pleasant suprise.

Booked on the Internet after reading other reviews. The transfer was laborious due to the number of drop offs in different resorts and we were the last off. A reasonable price but lasted over two hours. First coach was a poor standard, not a straight panel on it and this included the roof! The return coach was more modern and more comfortable. Both drivers were very helpful. The hotel itself is situated on the main thoroughfare of Perugia and is always bustling with people due to the shops, bars and restaurants of which there are many. The resort is popular with the German community but we found that this wasn't a problem as most staff are multilingual as are the menus in restaurants. The hotel staff, of which there were many, were well turned out and efficient. The hotel itself was clean and well appointed and the breakfast menu was excellent. Our room was disappointing. As we were shown to it I felt that we were descending into the not so fashionable part of the hotel as the decor and carpets had a distinctly worn feel to them. When the door to the room was opened there was an overwhelming cabbaggy smell which was either the aircon,damp or both. The room was small, if this was a superior room I don't know what a standard would be like. The bed was large and comfortable and the amenities were good. The rooms balcony opened onto a side street opposite a bar and if you leant over the balustrade and looked left you could see the sea! The seafront being about 50 metres away.
