Only negative was no room service. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. Great location. Views from the top floors are unparalleled. Just a few minutes to the beach, which was sandy and very large. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay at the Valentin Reina Paguera. The location was in beautiful quiet Paguera, close to Palma and the airport. Good value accommodation, great value breakfast and meals, superb staff. Good entertainment. I would love to return to this location and would highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel, nice clean rooms and great surroundings. The pool is a great size and there wasn’t ever a fight for the sunbeds, there were plenty to choose from anytime we got there. It’s a lovely adults only environment and the WiFi is great around the pool area too.
There was entertainment every night, admittedly some better than others but still a nice option to go and sit and watch to end the day. My only negatives were the lifts were very slow at times and could cause quite a queue and also we opted for the evening buffet meal one night and were quite disappointed, we got there an hour before it closed but a lot of the produce had not been topped up or refilled, it seemed to be a first come first served thing for the star dishes which isn’t great when we paid the same as someone who got there when it opened. Nothing was labelled as veggie too, I had to do alot of guesswork. Breakfast was always really good however. Overall really great hotel and I would happily stay again.
Just another note to say the hotel felt very covid safe, everyone wore masks indoors without question, everyone had to use hand gel upon entry to the buffets and there is the option to have your breakfast and dinner on the outdoor tables if you wish, all entertainment is hosted outdoors aswell.

I have stayed at the hotel with my sister. Very clean and quiet room with a lovely sea view but a bit outdated for us. Professional and kind staff. A good selection of food at breakfast and a lot of options at dinner time (does not include drinks). Day entertainment could be a bit more fun (they have fitness, pilates, stretching), evening entertainment was really good but finishes before 11pm :( Overall quite happy with the choice and would definitely recommend it.

I had an injury while on vacation and the hotel went out of their way to provide extra pillows, ice packs and anything else I needed. The room was immaculate the staff very fun and all meals delicious. I would not hesitate to stay again. Far enough away from Palma and all the crowds but close to everything. Loved it!

Pros: location, clean room, good bed, good food.

Cons: too much extra, 4€ water bottle with no option to bring your own, 15€ pool towel, buffet food really repetitive, restaurant staff with A LOT of attitude; eyes rolling when ordering, reflexion made for you to finish your meal quickly (even if we bought two bottles...)
You also have to pay for your glass / bottles on the stop during diner otherwise you get in trouble (when I say on the stop, I mean straight away, even if you didn't finish your meal and are having a conversation with friends...
Small but OK swimming pool.
Animation are just bad, at this stage just don't do any...

Very nice \"adults only\" hotel, with excellent facilities, very clean and modern and very helpful staff. Nice pool but very cramped as far as sunbeds go.....this is totally unnecessary as so much room is taken up by tables and chairs that just aren't used. Remove some of these and create more room to spread the sunbeds out. Also the hotel has an evening dress code for dinner in the restaurant...sadly the management don't enforce this so consequently there are guys coming down to dinner practically wearing football strips...unsightly and disrespectful!
Other than that I would recommend this hotel.

One think i didn't pick up on ,,, it was my fault ,, not the hotel ,,
Going into the restaurant for dinner they do have a dress code , Gents to wear trousers not shorts .
Some people did wear shorts ,, but i went out to buy a pair of trousers , respect the rules of the hotel

Two nights on my own. Pool was good, provided towels. Used none of the other facilities or activities. Convenient position especially for bus stops if planning to use them in either direction. If using Shuttle Transunion for transport to and from the airport make sure you state Valentin REINA.

The hotel was great! The staff are all friendly and welcoming, from the front desk to the restaurant crew to the cleaners and every one in between. Our room was CLEAN and comfortable. Not huge, but no need for a huge room with a beautiful balcony to see the sea and a great pool area to hang around in. The breakfast was a great variety with good options (from an American's perspective) and dinner was always full of choices. I enjoyed the day time activities of Yoga, Water aerobics, and darts. The beach is an easy two minute walk and all the shops around were pretty cute. I am SO GLAD we picked to stay outside of Palma. This area had touristy things but not as many tourists and NO cruise ship folks around. We had an excellent stay and would stay again! Highly recommend!

Perfect holiday hotel

Clean, friendly, adults only hotel in the centre of Paguera. Calm and peaceful around the pool yet all amenities on your doorstep. Close to beach. Good food and entertainment. You must book a sea view room to get the best out of your stay. Lots of wardrobe space. Regular bus services to Palma and other nearby resorts. Free parking in nearby public car parks which are only 20 metres away. Perfect for couples of all ages.

This was our second stay at Valentin Reina Paguera Hotel this year.
Such a great hotel.
Great beds.
Lovely indoor pool.
Spotless.. The cleaning staff work very hard and do a fantastic job 👏
The restaurant.. A great choice of delicious food and something for everyone. (A special mention to the chef who cooked the seafood risotto on Friday..the best we have tasted. Bravo 👌)
The ladies who waited on the tables and the chefs along with Antonio do a superb job looking after guests. So
pleasant 😊
The bar staff are smiley and make a fab Daiquiri 🍹.
Reception.. We were welcomed with sunny, happy faces and a glass of prosecco.
Rafael, Jasmin and Maximo are very helpful.
On our departure this morning we were too early for breakfast due to our flight time. We were directed to a table to a continental breakfast and coffee. A nice surprise.. Thank you Maximo and Antonio.

All the staff at the hotel are so friendly. They make the hotel what it is.. Well done!

The staff make this hotel, they are excellent! The beds are some of the comfiest I’ve slept on, the only down side are the hallways and the furniture in the rooms, they are very clean and new but old fashioned.

Saying that I would return, the food was good in the restaurant and lots of variety and the situation is very good while dining, you are not too hemmed in.

All in all a very nice stay and great staff.

Great hotel and friendly staff - enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here (we'd had 7 nights in Puerto Pollensa earlier). Our room had a great sea view from the 9th floor (most rooms have a balcony looking out to sea, but not all). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The majority of clients were German, but everyone was treated in the same friendly way.
We had half board and thought the range and quality of food at both meals were very good - no complaints. Note that there are 2 sittings for dinner, with the earlier one very very popular. As it happens, we preferred the second sitting anyway which starts at 8.15pm. There was some kind of entertainment every night from 9.30pm - pretty impressive actually, given it;s a free show.
Slight problem if you have a car - you'll need to park off-site. The nearby (free) car park was very busy all day, but with some patience it's possible to park OK on surrounding streets once you get your bearings. One day we took the local service bus to Palma (rather than drive) but note that although the buses are pretty frequent, they can get very crowded - don't be surprised to have to stand for the hour's journey there (suggest come back from Palma bus station to ensure a seat).
Good beach in Peguera though busy and no shade - take your own beach brolly. This part of the coast is heavily developed - Puerto Pollensa area was more relaxing - but everyone's different.

A hotel that has got it right

Hotel in good position, only 3 minute walk from the beach. We checked in earlier than stated time and the receptionist was able to accommodate us. Swimming pool area very clean. Pool bar had happy staff, reasonable prices and nice selection of food and drinks.

Entertainment was mixed, excellent magic night and a few good singers but a few poor ones.

Very,Very good staff, clean room and good food. Just a few niggles but this was a last minute booking for one night out of season. The hot water was turned off to the wash basin and the unused drain smell filled the bathroom for a minute on first use of the shower. It was fine after that. Just another niggle that my dining table had,the old one leg shorter than the rest syndrome, you put up with this in an outside dining area or pool but don’t expect this in a 4* Hotel restaurant. In spite of the above I have to say that I paid peanuts for the stay so I had great value for money

We stayed at the Valentin Reina in Peguera the 3rd week in May. We cannot find fault with this hotel at all and would be happy to stay there again. Everything about this hotel is good, staff very friendly and helpful. The place to go if you want a relaxing holiday. Would recommend high floor for views - we were on the 10th and we had amazingly hot weather. Beach less than 5mins away, plenty of shops and restaurants, outdoor pool lovely. If you like walking there are plenty in the area also a good bus service nearby.

It was a very pleasant stay. I came here to relax over my birthday weekend, and the staff were very warm and welcoming. As the name suggests, this is a hotel for adults. If (like me) you are in your mid twenties, you might get a few curious looks from the other guests (mostly middle or retirement age German couples.) Since all I wanted to do was lie on the beach for a few days, the age difference wasn't really an issue. In short, great hotel and would definitely stay here again. If you're looking to party though, maybe find somewhere closer to Palma.

Great if you like dogs and crowded restaurants

The hotel is good for being adults only and disturbance inside is minimal, but the noise from outside is awful. Building,dogs, lorries, dogs, coaches, dogs and more dogs.
The food was quite good but the dining room is way too small and crowded, on our last night they were going to 2 sittings, not a fact told anywhere on the websites and had I known I would not have booked to stay there.

Great hotel, friendly staff and close to the beach. The restaurant had a different theme every evening with the staff dressed to suit. We particularly liked the German themed night, it was a great laugh with German drinking songs as entertainment. The hotel guests are predominantly German with only a very few English couples when we were there. Everyone speaks to you in German first. However, everyone friendly and we did not feel out of place. The bar staff really went out of their way to be helpful. Although there were a few younger couples this hotel is frequented by those aged 40 plus.

Would go back although mostly German guests,Brits should give it a try! Food on the whole good, and entertainment good. Themed nights at dinner, and party day round the pool with free lunch, free drinks most evenings before dinner, and champagne on a couple of mornings at breakfast. Staff were friendly with the exception of reception on the night of arrival, it was late and I think he was about to go of duty, and didn't seem interested. They assume you are German unless you tell them otherwise. Indoor pool and gym was free and excellent for some proper swimming. Outdoor pool area spotless with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, even although it was August. Quality bed linen and towels, and whole hotel was spotless, deserves more than 3 stars. We discovered there are rooms in an annex,, they don't have as good an outlook, something to be aware of when booking, although they may be quieter in high season as evening entertainment is by the pool, but always finished before midnight.

Das Hotel liegt nah beim Strand und vielen Läden. Es ist sehr sauber und umweltfreundlich. Der Service und das Essen sind sehr gut.
Preis/Leistung tiptop. Unser Zimmer war im Seitentrakt, sehr ringhörig und hatte eine Badewanne statt Dusche.

Accueil au champagne ! Equipe réactive, dynamique et souriante. Le confort de la chambre est agréable, seul bémol pour nous : la vue. Certes, on voit la mer mais si vous baissez les yeux, vous voyez : boutiques et restaurants à l'abandon, envahis par la végétation et toit explosé.
Le restaurant (en 1/2 pension) est exceptionnel : bravo aux cuistots ! Animation en soirée et bar agréable.

Gebäude und auch Zimmer / Bad schon etwas älter aber gepflegt. Das Essen ist sehr gut, sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen.
Paguera als Ort kann man vergessen, es gibt schöneres. Aber als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ist er sehr gut geeignet.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Sprachen Spanisch, Englisch, Französisch und auch Deutsch sind kein Problem. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind in einem sehr sauberen und aufgeräumten Zustand. Das Buffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Amazing staff, so friendly and service minded! Very clean, great breakfast (even for me as a vegetarian), perfect location! Lots of restaurants around the corner. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if I’m going back.

Das Frühstücksbuffet kam komplett ohne Verpackungen aus. Großartig.
Die Schall-Dämmung von oben und von der Disco ist nicht gut.
Wir waren im Februar dort. Wenig trubel, toll um zu Fuß Wanderungen zu unternehmen. Das Auto haben wir nur zur An- und Abreise benötigt.

Bei unserer Anreise waren die Betten nicht gemacht. Es fehlte die Bettwäsche. Diese wurde eine Stunde später zwar geliefert, aber wir mussten die Betten dann selber beziehen (mit Rückenschmerzen).

Leider war dann an Schlaf nicht zu denken, weil am Abend auf der hoteleigenen Bühne am Pool eine Flamenco-Show stattfand, die nicht nur sämtliche Zimmer verlärmte, die sich auf der Meerseite befinden, sondern auch die nähere Umgebung der Hotelanlage. Der Lärm war ohrenbetäubend. Die Veranstaltung ging bis 22.45 Uhr. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken.

Auch der Schallpegel im Speisesaal war jeden Morgen und jeden Abend viel zu laut. Es herrschte eher eine Kantinenatmosphäre.

Ich kann das Hotel deshalb für Ruhe und Erholung suchende Gäste nicht empfehlen und empfehle dringend, zukünftig auf Outdoor-Abendveranstaltungen zu verzichten und den Speisesaal lärmtechnisch untersuchen und entsprechend nachrüsten zu lassen.

Das Hotel war eines der saubersten Hotels in dem ich je auf Mallorca war (Hotel Stern unabhängig) die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist nicht zu übertreffen . Das abendbuffet hat leider nicht meinen Geschmack getroffen , dies ist jedoch wirklich individuell. Die Auswahl des Buffets war sehr reichhaltig.

Hébergement au top, personnel disponible et accueillant. Infrastructure vraiment propre, idéalement située avec plage juste à côte et petits commerces. Les buffets du petit déjeuners et du dîner sont hyper variées et tres bons, il y en a pour tous les gouts.
