The room definitely has a feeling of warn, curtains didn’t close well, and be aware the ensuite is a separate building.

The linen was clean.

The aircon dripped onto the master bed ( obviously I moved this so I didn’t get wet). At about 11pm the aircon started making terrible rattling noises and had we not driven a huge distance I would have complained then ( but we were too exhausted to do anything that late at night). By morning there was a pool of water on the floor!!
We definitely won’t be staying here again.

Good accommodation options in resort style setting

The motel room was good and close to the restaurant, pool and guest laundry. Enjoyed our meal. Laundry had 2 washing machines and 1 dryer. We have stayed at Knotts Crossing resort before but it is the first time in a motel room. Happy with our choice.

GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS

This place has not spent $1 on maintenance in the last 15 yrs. Everything needs replacing or repairing. The TVs never work, shower is ordinary at best. Restaurant is so overpriced and the food is of very low quality, it used to be the best meal in Katherine, McDonald's would be a better choice. Breakfast is cold every morning.

The property is in need of urgent renovations, the cupboards are old and falling apart. Bed dressers panels were water damaged and ready to fall apart. The shower had an old shower curtain straight from the Alfred Hitchcock movie that just stuck to the body. Tiling was old, grout needed cleaning not to mention the spider webs in the shower room.
The place was built probably in the 1960’s. I’m not sure how anyone rates this property more than two stars. Room was not serviced.

Rooms are very dark & tired. The carpet in my room had multiple stain. Yuk! For the price of an Executive room definitely expected more. The bathroom is a time warp to the 1980s hence the cracked tiles. The carport for my vehicle was a bonus. Could be great with more renovations & tlc.

The kids loved the pool and spa and we loved the grounds with all of the trees and frogs. The cabins definitely need a bit of updating with new aircons etc. We were so hot during the afternoon and early evening.

Executive room is very spacious n nice furnitures. Park up front of your room, lights outside on all night so you feel safe n secure. Bed was a bit hard n bouncy, we're used to King size bed so i didn't sleep too well. Pool is a bit dated but serve the purpose. Didn't eat at the restaurant this time so can't comment but overall we wouldn't stay anywhere else but Knott Crossing in Ketherine.

The room interior was brown brick. It felt a little cave like inside. The internet went out shortly after arrival and never came back.
If you want to sit outside near your room, the only option is a table and chairs on your parking space, looking at all of the neighboring vehicles.

We had a 3 night stay in the motel part of the resort. The room in general was comfortable and tidy on arrival. The staff were good and the restaurant served good quality food.
Our room however was not cleaned at all during our stay.

This property was adequate for a short stay, The bed was comfortable and the aircon worked, and the room was relatively quiet for most of the night. The restaurant and pool bar were very pleasant and provided a respite from being in the room. On the not so great side - the bathroom was a bit gungy and really needs updating, the room lighting was poor, and the wifi pretty woeful - not possible to watch streaming TV even though it was available on the smart TV. The property was a long way from the CBD so you need a car if you stay here. That being said, it was fine for a couple of nights and staff were very nice, even allowing us a late breakfast (which finishes at 9am).

Arriving at Knotts Crossing Resort the reception staff I found to be friendly. Our booking was for two nights.
Once we went to our accommodation I was shocked at the conditions of our cabin. First impression of the cabin was the handrail shook. Once inside after jiggling the key to open the door I found the interior is so old and falling apart. The lounge had a cut in it. The blinds, walls and curtains had dirt and fingerprints on them. The windows above sink and bunk beds did not have curtains or a blinds on them. Light shone in of a nighttime from the outside light that was permanently on of an evening. The door leading into the cabin was not running properly. Every time you opened it, it shock the cabin. The bathroom ensuite was outside. It is old and very tired.
The only saving grace of our stay was the meals at Savannah restaurant. The breakfast was part of our booking which gave us a choice of hot or cold. The evening meals were great.
For the top dollar they are charging and If I had known the conditions of the accommodation I would not have stayed here.

Ok for short stop, but bathroom needs updating.

Clean but bathroom needs a total upgrade as mould between tiles etc. Older type units but good air conditioning, spacious. Had bus tour arrive late and leave early by us so heard everything. Very quiet during day but fills up at night. Quite pricey for condition of unit but likely due to location.

The property was very clean but is very tired.

The mattresses were old and honestly terrible giving little rest.

The food in the restaurant left a lot to be desired with one of the meals returned as inedible and another partially eaten then given up with meat overcooked, potato mash watery and salad old.

Would recommend the kangaroo spring rolls though.

The whole property and amenities are completely run down, the staff are uninterested in actually providing friendly service - the guy checking in might need some lessons in customer service, the room was dirty - there were cups under the bed, the cups in the fridge were filthy, there were belongings from the previous people left in the room. I ordered a meal take away from the restaurant, it took over an hour, was left sitting on the bench for a further 20 mins then given to me cold, asked for a new meal and the microwaved the one they had there, the manager apologised but the only excuse given was they were busy. As a previous local and someone who travels from Darwin to Katherine often, I will never book here again. Expensive lesson. It used to be a nice place and staff used to care.

Disappointing compared to every other year. Was only a partial room clean, half a bed made and not the bunks. Floors weren't cleaned when the room was serviced. Replaced towels that were hanging even though a sign said ifnyou want them replaced leave them on the floor.
Hopefully this was a once off as we usually have an awesome stay

The rooms are very outdated and need a lot of work, beds were uncomfortable and bunk beds not made up when we arrived and no ladder to climb to the top bunk. Nice stay at the property, the first room we were given the keys to was not what i had paid for so we had to swap.
Room facilities were good although you couldn't really get to the ladder to get to the top bunk so my daughter was upset she couldn't stay up there. Apart from that it had every basic feature we needed, thanks.

We paid almost 500 dollars for 2 nights in a small hard bed. Our children had bunks that were so unstable, no safety rails or ladders, they ended up sleeping on the floor.
Out toom still had someones belongings under the bed and their hair in the main bed. Barely any hot water and the toilet seat was falling apart. Absolutely discrafeul, especially with the price they charge you !

For $200 you get a basic cabin, only seats are 2 plastic chairs, cupboard doors are falling off. Insufficient utensils. Microwave smells and has rust inside (I'm sure it would not pass a radiation compliance test)
The bathroom was outside.

Nearly didn’t book here because of previous reviews. We really enjoyed our stay, it’s not right in the town which was nice. Rooms were clean and tidy. Double beds were a bit small when were used to a king (queen beds would have been better)
