The resort was easy to get to via the ferry. The staff were all very friendly and our cabin was clean, but could do with upgrading the stove.
The beach walk was a pleasant stroll away and the resort pool was amazing

The aircon works well, bed is comfortable and is in a good location. The ferry trip over was not mentioned in the booking. There are extremely limited food options. Being self sufficient is required as limited cafe hours and no nearby food options. The location is worth it though.

Ballina Beach Nature resort didn’t tell us the truth as we booked a cabin with a king bed and this was not supplied and said to contact Expedia as you had our money so they couldn’t give a refund
We stayed only one night instead of 4, as we didn’t have the correct room
Also they are certainly not a resort
I have cancer and use a walker for any distance walking and their “path to the beach” was totally useless for me as my walker couldn’t fit through there track
We feel like we have had the property misrepresented to us
They have a non refundable policy, which is illegal according to the ACCC, which is why the will refund nothing
Being pensioners and not in good health we were looking to a nice time not a nightmare, as this has now turned into
So, I would not recommend this business to anyone and would give negative stars if possible
This has now been going on for 5 days without resolution but I will take this further

Room was lovely no complaints there, its just advertised as a quiet relaxing spot, we were put 10metres feom a very noisy waterpark with kids screaming all day, and both mornings Saturday at 7am,and then Sunday 7.20 a noisy blower for over half hr,not peaceful or relaxing at all,we left all day Saturday for somewhere quiet.

The luxury villa was great and had lots of space.

This is NOT A Resort! It’s a Caravan Park!! Disgusted that we paid $500 for a crappy dirty cabin in a noisy caravan park, how they can falsely advertise this as a resort is beyond comprehension. When I discussed this with staff he simply said ‘yes it’s a caravan park, the owner sets the price not me and you’ll have to contact the place you booked it through.’ The guy offered compensation for the cabin not being ready at 3pm but then didn’t follow through with giving us anything. Cost of beers were outrageous at $10 a pop, would she been nice to been offered a free meal or a beer, but nothing.
Lastminute deals was also useless and took no responsibility for the misinformation for the booking and then hung up the phone on me.

Ballina Beach Nature Resort was clean. Facilities were good, but few basic amenities were not there, like no bath towels were provided, no internet connection, after hours customer service were poor. Location was too far from main Ballina city centre as ferry service was not in function during Christmas holidays.

Colin at the front desk was super helpful, kind and welcoming. The pool was clean, and the water park was super fun. We booked the cheapest cabin. I was not expecting it to be lux by any means but i did expect it to be clean. The floors were gross; they had been vacuumed but not mopped. Our feet were black. The couch was dirty and smelly we had to put one of our blankets over the top. The doona covers on the kids beds were not washed. I glad we were on a road trip and had some of our own linen. The sheets on the main bed were clean.

On a side note, a large number of people entered the pool area after the office had closed - We figured out that they were not staying at the park, it was fine because my kids had had enough, but they took over the area, including the water park. There did not seem to be anyone there to manage a situation like that.

I stayed in a pet friendly superior cabin with my 15yr old chihuahua x and my 8yr old child.
The cabin was lovely and roomy. Was a tight fit in the toilet/bathroom.
We were close to the pool and water park, which is where we spent most of our days.
The staff were really lovely people and even though the kitchen in the Cafe closes at 6pm, they let me place an order for dinner that night.
I will be back :)

The glamping tent no 15 was the best spot! Right near the waterpark, reception and cafe.
Having never stayed in a glamping tent before, I'm blown away at how grounding and relaxing they are and will likely choose this over a cabin any other day!

The property would be good as a destination park ie a week or so stay. For our purpose it turned out to be a long way from Ballina. The bathroom shower was in desperate need of a good clean or regrout as it was very mouldy. Overall though, the cabin was good and we enjoyed our stay

The holiday park is nice overall, but be aware that they’re currently undergoing renovations. During the week, there’s a lot of activity with trucks constantly moving around, which didn’t feel very safe for the kids.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was clean and functional, but quite dated and could really use some upgrades to make it more comfortable.

A decent spot if you're just looking for a place to stay, but probably better suited once the renovations are complete.

Collin the manager was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. The property is clean and well maintained. We stayed in a luxury tent. The tent has a microwave and fridge but has no cooktop. Though there is a portable BBQ. My teenage boys love the water slides and pool onsite. I love the proximity to a quiet beach. My boys wanted to stay longer but we had work commitments. If you are coming from Ballina town centre, take the car ferry at Burns Point ferry to Ballina Beach Nature Resort - save you about 30 min drive. It is advisable to stock up some food at Ballina town centre before hopping onto the car ferry.

Great location for a young family getaway. Very close to a pristine beach, but the waterpark/pool area was even more appealing to the kids. Quiet (mostly) and pet friendly for those travelling with their furry friend. The plumbed gas Weber BBQ was ideal for an evening meal. Would recommend for couples with children or pets. Baby boomers might find it rather noisy and irritating.

It is a very remote place but has wonderful staff and nature. I had some issues with the keys but they were fixed right away. If you can provide towels dedicated to the swimming pool, that would be great, at least for guests staying at a cabin, villa, or tent which is not a camping site. Please consider.

My first interaction with staff was entirely unhelpful.
Expedia was advertising the prices in US$ but failed to let me know. I found out after i paid. The price went from $160 p/n to $275.
When i contacted the property within 24 hrs, they told me only Expedia can help me. Expedia staff proceeded to try and reach the property to cancel the booking and waiver the charges so i could get my money back, apparently trying several times without a response. So i tried to reach them 3 times via email and tried to call but the calls were never picked up and emails were ignored.

I'm sure you can imagine how uncomfortable I was when we arrived.

Hoping to find myself overwhelmed with joy, i was disappointed to find many things that I didnt like.
The tents are right next to each other. So you can hear every fart from your neighbour.
The water smells like chlorine, so I suspect that it is treated water from the sewage plant.
It was nice to have a dishwasher, but the plates are too big to fit, which we found pretty funny.
The dog park is super stupidly boring and tiny. So it makes sense that people opted to walk their dogs around the resort instead, only, one of them took a dump on the ground in front of our tent.
Being more earthy people, having access to the beach was nice, but the walk and bike routes are so short. Not even a stroll.
And theu made it clear that i should never book through expedia again, and rather book directly. In that case, dont advertise through Expedia

Easy check in and exit, bed in our swag was comfortable, air conditioning was nice. Beaches were great, pool was nice. Was quiet and relaxing. Some of the things we felt needed were another bbq/camp kitchen, the bbq was outdated and 3 of the gas lines were blocked making us have to light them with a lighter and paper. The toilet paper in the ladies amenities weren't replaced often, and bins in the camp kitchen needed to be emptied more efficiently. The chef wasn't available one of the nights we were there allowing no food options. Overall we gave it a 3/5 star

The renovations to the pool and cafe are outstanding. Loved the new splash play area. We stayed in one of the brand new swags. Wow! I was so impressed. everything that you need besides a bathroom. The new bathroom amenities are sparkling and well lit at night so that was not a problem either. We will be back again soon.

Almost new, presumably installed this season, the swag tents are luxurious, very comfy, come with small kitchenette ( kettle, toaster, fridge) Comfy queen size bed. Short walk to new facilities block with ample hot water. ( Could do with a sqeegy to clean the floor after showering)

The Luxury Swags are brand new, well styled and well appointed (can still smell the timber - in a good way) and I really enjoyed my stay. The kitchenette is a tiny sink, fridge, toaster and kettle, so no microwave (but theres a camp kitchen on site with a microwave and gas bbq). Aircon made this accom comfortable even with the single degree nights. Amenities block for toilets and shower is a 2min walk away. Would recommend arriving in daylight as the sites and roads in the grounds are a little tricky to see, and the luxury swags are so new theyre not on the signs at after hours reception yet. Lovely bushland, very quiet, lots of birds and a soft sand walking track to enjoy. Take all your food as theres nothing around. Wish my stay had been longer.

I had a lovely stay in a luxury glamping villa. It was excellent! A wonderful setup, spacious with great shower, comfortable bed & everything you need like a large fridge & aircon. I wish I could have stayed longer and had more time to explore.
Thanks to the after-hours manager who was extremely helpful in directing me on how to locate the keys for simple access to my villa after hours :)

Glamping experience over Long Weekend

Stay at Ballina Beach Nature Resort Luxury Glamping tents was a mix of both worlds. Very comfortable, nice, spacious, clean tents and only 1-2 mins walk to the white sandy quiet beach. Had terrible problem with loud noise of two separate large groups over two nights with one group's party went on until midnight whereas no loud noise is allowed after 10 pm.

Beautiful long weekend away.

Staff were friendly and well mannered. The luxury tent that we stayed in was clean and fully equipped with everything.

The property grounds were clean and tidy aswell.

It’s maybe a 500m walk to the beach. The beach looked untouched and it was like we were the only people there. We could literally only see our footprints in the sand. It’s such a secluded area and that’s exactly what I was after.

We saw DOZEN’s of Dolphin’s in the early afternoon while walking along the south wall and it made the weekend even better. Was not expecting to see it at all.

The cafe is excellent aswell! Not a massive menu but definitely enough if you’re not that fussy. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options 👌 Maybe a tiny bit pricey in comparison to what I’m used to paying for the meals I bought but in saying that, they were delicious.

Otherwise bring your own food and use the Weber BBQ out on the deck of your tent.

It was absolutely faultless guys and I will definitely be returning! Thank you so much.
