We love staying at homestead because the people are pleasant and helpful. I enjoy being able to have breakfast and coffee in the cafe. The motel is in a convenient position - near the sports centre and sports club).
The mattress was lumpy, soft and uncomfortable. Also, there was only one towel rail for up to 4 people but I will definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at plenty of awful budget motels while travelling, but this one was super clean and inviting, staff were incredibly responsive and helpful - when you're exhausted and a little panicked about finding somewhere to rest it means the world when you find a kind and accommodating place to stop!

Only stayed for one night but the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I chose this motel because the room looked big and had carpet so my 8 month old could crawl on the floor. He couldn't stop smiling everytime he was in the room. Room was large and we would definitely stay again. Great that there was covered on site parking and a cafe too.

We booked online for 2 adults and a small dog. When we arrived, we were informed that it was an extra $20 for the cleaning of the unit with \"special products\" after we left the unit. Fair enough, we thought. However, the cleanliness of the room was substandard and if it had been cleaned with these \"special products\", it certainly was not cleaned before we rented the unit. The toilet had not been cleaned, the benches were sticky and grimy, and the floor when I wiped it after I spilt water on it was putrid. We were not impressed. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Bed was comfortable. Nice shower and hot water.

The room was old but clean. The reception check was horrible we were not acknowledge upon walking through the doors. We found a very small sign that dishes were to be washed otherwise we would be charged $50 i think this is crazy for a hotel room it was not apartment and woukd not except this in a hotel. It was only hubby saw this whilst brushing his teeth in kitchen sink.

The \"Proper Cafe\" ,which is attached to the motel, is the best place for breakfast, and the room key has a membership card to the Sports Club, which is only a short walk away, and they have a very good restaurant with take away available.
