Excellent and beautiful hotel with good amenities and staff. Nice souvenir shop.
Ok breakfast only. Futons not very comfortable and room is a bit small.
Took a shower and water leaks everywhere and no handle when enter the tub. Not very safe for seniors.

Everything was great except the location.
It is located on the top of the city so the view was excellent but little too inconvenient to back and forth to the main city area. There was a free shuttle but we usually took a taxi. Other than that, very clean, kind.
One thing, breakfast was below than I expected.

Breakfast was excellent and felt like a fine dine experience. Room was well furnished with lots of amenities included. Room is big and roomy. The staff are courteous and professional. Having a rental car to travel to the hotel will provide easier access, and parking is free. We can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore Fukuoka and the nearby cities (Daizaifu, Yufuin, Itoshima and others).

I really liked the hotel. It has been renovated recently and I loved my room and the hotel has a great look and feel to it. The terrace is amazing for dining and for enjoying the stunning views over the city. Reaching different areas and tourist spots using public transportation can take a long time but that’s a trade off for the great city views.

Amazingn place with great facilities and value for money, much better than staying in the centre. Yes it’s far from the station, but take a stroll down to the station in the morning (it’s very pleasant and easy as you are walking down) and then a taxi from the station to the hotel in the evening (if you are tired) as it’s cheap to do that. Would certainly stay there again. The view is really worth it.

We had a comfortable stay overall but mainly used the hotel for sleeping. It was hard to get water for some reason and service was standard but not extraordinary. Pajamas were comfortable. The bathtubs were slippery and scary for pregnancy. I would suggest the hotel have a water refill station in its lobby for guests to self-serve.

We like the resort entire environment, it is cosy and quiet. Check-in and front desk staff are very warm. and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, although it is fix menu and no choice of selection. Only minus is the room is slightly small. Will come back again.

Excellent restaurant with fantastic quality of good. Very comfortable, quiet rooms. Room service available. Hotel also had a shop and coffee shop. Very stylish and comfortable decor.
Only thing I didn’t like was the very loud music playing in the communal areas, and the piped music played in the corridors at night, which kept me awake!

Secluded Hotel with Comfortable Bed

Pros:
+Staff are very accommodating
+Beautiful views
+Comfy bed
+Large room
+Very delicious breakfast buffet
+Hotel restaurant Koyomi was very delicious
+Extremely comfortable hotel pajamas

Neutrals:
•Location is relatively secluded. There are 3 bus lines about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, that can get you close to wherever you probably want to go. I chose the location based on where my friends live, but if I were a typical tourist, the location could be a nuisance.
•I didn't think the public bath was anything special, but it is still nice to have.

Negatives:
-The room's carpet had all these bleach spots on it, which kind of weirded me out.
-The lack of free outlets in the room.
-The bedding had spots on it, and a ball of black lint. I expected more based on the atmosphere the hotel exudes.
-The tea/coffee machine wasn't fully cleaned.
-I also dislike pod-coffee/tea machines as the one that was in my room as the pods are terrible for the environment. The tea wasn't great quality/taste.
(-I vaguely remember being annoyed at the wifi speed and switching to my own wifi.)

Based on what I had planned in Fukuoka, the hotel was an overall good fit for me. I would probably stay there again because despite the small issues with the room's cleanliness, I enjoyed my stay there. I do think that there is room for improvment though.

Everything is good in the hotel except the onsen. Water not hot enough. Only one hot and one cold. No outdoor. The onsen facilities is a basic 3 stars.

Very disappointing.

Disappointing. I booked this for the spa facilities but it was not clear that tattoos were not permitted in the spa. I would have booked a nicer hotel for the same money. The room was very basic and the only point of staying here was the spa. A waste of money.

The overall service was ok. We get to choose our favourite colour and size of pyjamas while doing an early check in. It was far too early as the check in time was only after 5pm. We went for our town tour and only return around 7pm for dinner in the hotel. The hotel set meal was great and we got a discount because we are guest. When we got to our room pyjamas were not given and we have to call to get them send up. The service was superb fast. We live the hotel as it was very quite and clean. They have nice view up in the room.

Nice hotel in the city

We arrived at the hotel in the evening - the staff are helpful and the environment is nice and stylish! We stayed in a suite for eight days and, during this period of time, we felt so comfortable and relaxed coz the room is so spacious, tidy and have a perfect view! We strongly recommend this hotel to any people who wants to stay away for awhile from the busy city :)

Japlish is hilarious

Only one staff could speak decent English to give superb service:he was Indonesian,proving that Japan needs to allow more gaijin workers.The other staff gave polite tatami service due poor language ability.But the bowing and scraping was appreciated.
The guest services book was in Japlish,and hilarious.
The room temperature was too high.We suffered the first night since the controls were only in Japanese.When we asked the desk,we were given to understand the heating was centralized.Our only option was to switch the heater off and open the balcony door ,which we did,compromising our security.
We had some excellent meals,Japanese and Western,pointing out our choices from the menu.
We had good walks,to the botanic gardens and the zoo.
Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room is quite small, but with good view of the city. It's convenient if you drive. The staff were very friendly and tried hard to help, however, communication in English was difficult. There were staff speaking Mandarin, but not in Cantonese.
Food quality of both Japanese and Western restaurants in the evenings was very good and highly recommended.

Great get away in the city

Very nice hotel with great services. Great restaurants too. I only wish our room would have been on a higher floor, where views could have been much better.
Also, it was a little too busy with many weddings...

Fantastic hotel and service!!

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations! We did have a hard time finding it as Google maps puts you at the bottom of the hill no where near the actual hotel (by car). After taking a steep set of stairs to confirm we were in fact looking up at the hotel I was greeted by the hotel manager. He did not speak much English but was AMAZING! He ran (literally) down the stairs and then drove our car to the hotel parking lot. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We were seated and served drinks while we were checked in, showed to our rooms and they helped us with directions. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning to this hotel next time we visit Fukuoka!

Recently renovated and beautiful rooms

The Agora Hilltop Hotel just re-opened after being closed for renovation. It sits on top of a hill overlooking Fukuoka. Although our room did not have much of a view, some of the other parts of the hotel had beautiful views, particularly at night. We stayed in a Japanese-style room. With 4 of us, and the futons laid out, the space was a little tight. But with the hilltop location, the hotel was very quiet at night, so we all slept very well. There is a shuttle bus to the nearest train station. But we had a car, and without that it might have been inconvenient. Because it just re-opened in September 2013, the hotel was not at all full. I hope they do get more guests. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

場所もサービスもよく、子供と一緒に泊まりましたが非常に過ごしやすかったです。唯一気になったのは、部屋の壁紙等が一部剥がれかけていたり、床のカーペットにシミなどがあったりしたので少し気になりました。
でも、また福岡に滞在することがあれば是非またヒルトップリゾートを検討したいです。

元山の上ホテルですから、やはりメンテナンスはされているとはいえ、結構アラが目立つ部分もあり。
もっとも、山側といえど半分は市街地が見えるお部屋だったので、十分でした。
また、大浴場は夜間はライトアップもあり、いつ訪れてもほぼ貸切状態で楽しめました。
特筆すべきは朝食！
絶対におすすめです。
普段豚が苦手なのに申し出ていなかったので、困ったなと一瞬思ったのですが、糸島豚とのことでいただいてみたら、まあよく歩き回っているしっかりした豚さんでした。
糸島野菜も量もたっぷり。
またスムージー3種はまだしも、お出汁は初めてでした。
ヨーグルトが手づくりでもっと量もたっぷりだったらよかったかな。
とはいえ、パンは全く食べきれずお持ち帰りにしました。

結婚式とちょうど15時のチェックインが重なったせいか、ちょっとスタッフさんもあたふたされていて、動線はもう少し考えるべきですね。
またスタッフさんが一部少し勉強不足に思えたので、改善していただければと思います。
ともあれあまりに自宅が近くなので、今までなかなか足が向かなかったのですが、手頃に非日常を味わえる貴重なホテルです。
次回は家族や友人と宿泊したいと思います。

快適でした

街中から離れた場所にありますが、静かに過ごせます。シャトルバスは30分毎に運行していますし、タクシーの運転手さんもご存知の場所なので、交通の不便は感じませんでした。
大浴場にはサウナもあり、お部屋も広めなので、滞在中はのんびりと過ごすことができました。

のんびり滞在をしたくてこちらに。開放感のあるラウンジはセンスのいいライブラリーやウェルカムドリンク、ショップで充実しています。
また、スタッフの方々は大変親切で夜中に急なアレルギーで病院を探すのを親身に手伝っていただきました。また、マッサージも利用しましたが、使っていたオイルもエステティシャンの方もとても良くリラックスできました。

結婚式が多いホテルだと感じました。部屋の床、シャワーブースのみ、洗面台のせまさ、トイレのボタンの遠さ、などが気になりました。ただ、冷蔵庫の中の飲料が全てただなのと、コーヒー豆や焼き菓子の設置でバランスをとっている気がします。

改装されているお部屋は木の香りがして落ち着きます。家具や眺望や部屋に用意されている飲み物にも気遣いが感じられます。ダイニングのランチビュッフェは口コミでも良かったですが丁寧に作られていてお味も最高です。お掃除もいきとどいていると思います。

ホテルは温泉もありとても良いです。
坂道が長くきついので、車のほうが良い。
ホテル内には、コンビニなどないのでホテルに帰る前に必要なものがあれば、購入してのほうが良い。一番近いコンビニまで坂道を歩いて、行き10分、帰り20分程度です。

위치는 대중교통 이용이 힘들었지만 깨끗하고 안전한 셔틀이 있었기에 큰 불편함 없었어요.
일본인 직원들은 매우매우 친절하고 한국인 직원도 매우 친절합니다.
방은 깨끗하고 뭐든게 정돈이 잘 되어 있으며 온천수가 정말 좋습니다.
함께 간 지인들이 칭찬을 엄청해서 어깨도 으쓱하게 해 준 힐탑 리조트💓 가족과도 꼭 다시 가고 싶은 곳입니다.

壁が薄く、隣の部屋や廊下の声がかなり聞こえる。午前中、結婚式があってたが、司会の方のマイクの声もかなり聞こえた。チェックアウト時間ぎりぎりまで滞在したが、他の部屋の清掃に入ってるスタッフの声が気になり退出を急かされてる気持ちになった。
