First, the general manager here is basically useless. Apparently, he had taken it upon himself to change reservations from 2 beds to a single king bed on a sold out night, which was not feasible for families/groups of 3-4 people. When contacted by front desk staff (who were amazing), he told them to just let the guests leave because he wasn’t fixing the mistake he made. This is unacceptable.
Then, when we tried to use the toilet in our room, it was stopped up. My husband called the front desk to get a plunger, which was quickly brought to the room. We thought he had fixed it; however, when we came back at midnight from the concert we were in town to see, the toilet had overflowed and flooded the bathroom. Mind you, we had only used the bathroom in our room once and put the toilet paper in the trash can because of the initial issue with flushing the toilet. We called the front desk, and the staff member said he would call the manager who would call housekeeping. The staff member ended up calling us back and said he was just going to come help us himself because the manager wasn’t going to do anything.
This was the worst management I have ever dealt with. I’m so thankful the front desk staff members were so helpful.
On top of all of this, the shower curtain had mildew on it, and the mini fridge had rust on the outside and leaked slightly. For the outrageous price we had to pay because of the concert, this whole situation was absolutely terrible!
10/10 do NOT recommend!

The place is awful. Our room had a hole in the tub so it was not usable. There was food in the microwave and in the ice bucket. There was something spattered all over the a wall picture. It was gross. When I talked to the staff about the tub, they said they knew about it and thought it had been fixed. They had no other rooms. I wanted to talk to the manager, was told he was not available on weekends. For $585 it sucked.

The staff was pleasantl, the breakfast was very good, plenty of parking but the rooms are in bad condition. The top to the coffee pit was missing, the refrigerator knob was removed so the refrigerator couldn’t be turned on, the housing for the ironing board was missing and looked awful. The owners clearly don’t care to spend any money to maintain this property. The bed was comfortable but I’m not staying at this chain again.

Our toilet backed up twice were we had to go to the front desk to get a plunger. Asked for a broom and a garbage bag to clean up a mess that was made. Was informed that they no longer allow customers to borrow their brooms and thay don't give garbage bags.The tv ...had to request a remote from the front desk to change the input. The plugs in the room were loose by the bed. Wall socket was cracked. The smoke detector was taken down. All in all it was definitely a motel I wish for MOre and im not TELling anyone to go here unless just passing through for a night.

The property is showing its age. Functionally all things worked. The breakfast beginning at 530 am everyday was nice. Biggest problem were other people. Loud music way past quiet time of 10pm and second night was awful from 1230 am until I couldn’t take any more and checked out.

The pictures featured on Expedia misrepresent the hotel. Our room was dated and in drastic need of repairs / updating. I wasn't actually sure what was dirty and what was in fact just old. The first room we were in, we showered and got in bed and then a giant ROACH crawled across my bed! Then we were put in a different room that had multiple bugs in the bathroom, pillows were covered in hair and stains. Office staff did not want to answer my calls or doorbell so we left and went to another hotel. Zero stars.

The property itself wasn’t terrible. It’s the $100, then $53 taken out of my account, on top of the $80 stay. I was told there was going to be a $100 hold on my account. As much as I did not agree or understand, fine. But it was not a hold. The whole amount was taken out of my account, and then another $53.00. Because of that, my account has gone in to overdraft, and I have to wait seven days for it to be deposited back into my account. This has put me in a terrible spot. I was told a $100 hold on my account, instead I had an extra $153 taken out of my account. It’s just out me in a terrible position this week. Because now it going into overdraft, I have a $30 fee. So this hotel stay so far has cost way more than it should. So just beware of extra money being taken out of your account, then waiting a week for it to be deposited back in!

This place was horrible! I've had to stay at worse hotels for game day and yet this one is even worst. The microwave howled, the mirror had layers of dust, the tv was more static than sound and the toilet was unforgivable...not to mention the constant smoking and loitering outside the hotel. The manager agreed to a refund of the remaining night and then refused to do it after we checked out, so not only is this hotel deplorable, management is not trustworthy or honest. You'd be better off sleeping in your car....

This roach motel has a name that was very deceiving. I thought staying at a Wyndham was supposed to be a nice place. I stayed for a week and every single day there was issues with my stay. The first day the tv didn’t work. I was kept up all night by dogs running around above my room. I was told they live there by the staff. The room was filthy. Urine and pubic hair on the toilet seats residue on the counter tops. The second night, after I asked for the tv to be fixed, I was moved to the adjacent room because they couldn’t fix the tv. Every single day I had to get new keys to the room because the old worn out swipe cards would no longer work. The next room was not much better. The refrigerator ticked the entire time. When I mentioned it to staff I was informed that the owner did not care to improve the property. The one washer and dryer cost a total of $7 to wash clothes. Needless to say I didn’t use the facility. The shower head had broken off and was hanging on the hand rail. I ended up attaching it with a string so I could take a shower. When I came on day three, I went to get my daily new key, I was informed the shower was fixed. All they did was remove my string and place it back on the handrail. I hung it back up using a string for the rest of my stay. Every night there were people smoking drugs outside of my room. The air conditioning would drag the drug smoke into my room. After speaking with the local fire dept I was informed that meth addicts live at the hotel

Run Down Old Motel

I expected much more from a Wyndham hotel. This is a run down motel. It was remodeled at one time but the pictures provided on the web site do not reflect the current condition. I knew we were in trouble after checking in. We first see a broken down car with expired tags that has been sitting since January 2025 (tag expiration date) and was full of junk. When we entered the room it smelled of mildew. The couch was nasty and the cushions were flat. There was no desk in the room which I needed for work. I went back to the front desk to complain and was offered a different suite. I was given the new keys and went to the new room but the keys did not work (red light flashing). I then went back to the front desk and told the clerk I would give him one more chance. He swapped with brand new key cards and I tried the door but again it would not open (red flashing light). I went back to the front desk and told the clerk we won't be staying here. We were given a refund. The clerk did apologize and handed me the receipt documenting the refund. I will upload the photos showing the issues.

This was by far the worst, outdated and smelliest place I’ve ever stayed at. I figured because it was a Wyndham property that it should’ve been half decent. Wrong, smelled like urine, the mini fridge was so old that the door was completely rusted, furniture was at least 20 to 30 years old if not more. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place by all means.

The entire place is just run down and crummy. There were not a full size closet in the room. There was only a bar style sink in the room. The toilet was barely connected to the floor. The shower curtain was practically falling down. I am truly grateful that I survived the stay without contracting a highly contagious disease. The room was definitely not worth what I paid for it.

After paying with travelocity, i go to check in and sit for 30 mins while they keep running my card for another 50 dollar deposit. Then ask me to come back in around 8am. Not worth my time after driving 11 hours.. wont be back. And if i pass a drug test after stepping out it would be a miracle

Had boogers on the wall by the sink, toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall, bathtub was gross, had to wear my socks. Could hear the people talking and their tv in room next door. Plus due to it being in Alabama football weekend we paid $400 a night. It was disgusting! I would never in a million years. Never again will i stay at this hotel. The outside was very nice. Then you walk in....The employee was extremely rude. Pretty sure i woke her up when i got there to check in. When i walked in the room it looked like it hadn't been dusted in 3 months, literally. Vanity had dried up toothpaste or soap or something. Wish i had taken pictures before i had cleaned it myself. There were sample bottles of shampoo but no soap anywhere. Possible dried up poop on the wall by the toilet, that's what it looked like. The internet was total crap, like having dial up all over again. The cable was total crap. Could only get 8 channels and most of them were static. Microwave pretty sure had been on fire at some point. Only good thing is the bed was fairly comfortable.

It is what it is. Not at all fancy but there was availability and thats what we needed. sheets were clean and the area was fine. The front dest guy was very nice. We stayed and slept and that was the plan. Bama won so it was a great weekend.
