😒 they couldn’t find my reservation. I booked through Expedia and Expedia did everything they could to explain to the it was reserved and should be there, paid for. And he just kept saying nope I can’t find it. The first time I stayed with them the machine wouldnt support my bank card and the clerk swiped it again as if it would change and now I have pending charges that will not go away even tho my card was denied by them UGH! Frustrating Expedia got me booked with another hotel. I will not go here again….EVER!

There was a water stain on the ceiling and this entire hotel smelled like they had plug-in air fresheners everywhere to cover or mask and odor. The toilet did not flush correctly and the maintenance man had to be called in in order to get that fixed. Breakfast was flipped egg-like substance with cheese inside, bland biscuits and liquid gravy, same danishes every day and 2 choices for cereal. No yogurt, only apples and oranges. Coffe was good though

Staff is fantastic! The room cleanliness is lacking. The overall upgrades were subpar- painted over old, open holes where light fixture holes are showing behind new lights, floor not vacuumed, disgusting tub where they just wipe it out and don’t actually clean it-black dirt/ mold .

The staff was sweet so I hate to leave a bad review just because of them but I will never stay here again. Outside presentation was great, deceiving. We had 3 rooms total. The first room had such a bad smell..a combination of dog and mildew. The other rooms were tolerable with the smell but still rough. The bathrooms are stained and very out dated. We did request another room because the smell was so bad in the first room. It was game day weekend so options were limited on going anywhere else. My husband did a quick scan and accepted. It’s just a weekend. We went to bed not thinking about what I would find in the bathroom trash in the morning. A used condom hanging off the side of the trash! There wasn’t anyone at the front to talk to as we were leaving and we were pressed for time getting to the game. We honestly didn’t even try to breakfast just based on the cleanliness of our room..but I heard other guests say it was good. Again..staff was sweet. Rooms just need some TLC.

We would like to extend a great Thank you, to the property manager Mr. Huey. He was so kind in every interaction that I had with him. Weeks and days leading up he kept in contact and stood on his word to accommodate my payment request. Any issue we had , wasn’t many at all, he and his staff were on it! They were all so pleasant and kind! Such a cozy hotel. I believe with Mr, Huey in charge it’ll be a 5 star hotel in no time. From a guest perspective I think it just needs an upgrade in appliances, more modern decor and bathroom upgrades. Maybe some new flooring to make it pop. But my husband and I really enjoyed our time. We will be back next year, hopefully we’ll beat Bama!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

They didn't clean the coffee maker and one of the packages was opened and missing some things. I don't know if they could have also forgotten to change the sheets (I hope not). But overall for the price I think is a decent place and I would stay again! The bed and the pillows were comfortable and there were many channels on the TV!

Breakfast was terrible. The breakfast was “0” out of 5. The milk was spoiled both mornings for the cereal. Customers were sitting around with no milk in their cereal bowl. No muffins after 630 on the first morning and absolutely none the next morning. 98% of the individual butter packages had already been opened both mornings. Hotel and rooms were clean but immediately walking in hotel you were met with a thick perfume smell that was nauseating. Worse than walking in a bath and body works. The room was also nauseating with a cleaning chemical smell. I don’t think we were going to be able to stay there. Aside from the smell and breakfast, everything else was fine.

I would never stay at this hotel again. The entire experience was disgusting and unacceptable. The room was filthy from the moment I walked in — the bedding looked used and had visible stains, the toilet and bathroom were grimy and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned, and the floors were dirty enough that I didn’t want to take off my shoes. The TV didn’t work, and the remote not only didn’t function but was covered in something that looked like dried boogers — absolutely vile.

To make matters worse, the power went out across the entire hotel during my stay, and no one offered updates or assistance. The property manager and hotel manager were completely unresponsive and showed zero concern for guest comfort or safety. I had to book another hotel to stay in due to all of the major inconveniences!

This property needs serious attention, proper cleaning staff, and management that actually cares. Until that happens, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

Starting with the positives: convenient for parents weekend at university, near restaurants, the beds were comfortable. I don’t know if those were cooling sheets but it sure felt like it. I appreciated that.

The place is very dated and dingy. It was clean for the most part but the every towel I received was stained and worn. It made do for the packed weekend but I wouldn’t stay there again.

then the electric power went out for ENTIRE hotel in the morning. No communication from ANYONE about when it would be restored or resolved. Had to leave hotel and go elsewhere to get ready for the day. We were never contacted when it was restored. The hotel had all of our information to get ahold of us. Waiting on a partial refund or something from the hotel. Again crickets!!!
Hotel is dated and rooms need upgrades.
It did smell good upon entry. And Genesis at the front desk was wonderful to deal with. She was not there during the outage though. I would never stay at this particular hotel again.

From the moment we walked into our room, we noticed a strong unpleasant smell. We informed the front desk, and the staff member was kind enough to move us to another room. Unfortunately, the new room wasn’t much better. Since we were only staying for two nights, we decided not to make a big deal out of it. However, the next morning we woke up to find that there was no power at all. The electricity was out for almost the entire day, which made it impossible for us to get ready. We ended up having to book another hotel just so we could prepare for the day. We paid $860 for two nights, and the experience was extremely disappointing.

The pictures are very deceiving. All bathroom linens comforter, sheets had stains. Bed look liked someone had already slept in it. No hot water, the bed we could feel the springs poking though. The tub was dirty. Will never stay again. I can’t believe Best Western has there name attached this place.

When we first checked in the bathroom and bed were filthy. We immediately asked for a different room. We were then put in a room that smelt strongly of mold. This hotel was for a work event for 10 nights and after working 12+ hour shifts 8 days in a row it would've been nice to have a good nights sleep to look forward to. Instead we had to buy cleaner to make the room smell better, listen to the people above us slam stuff against the floor all night/morning and eat the same microwaved eggs every day. Also you better hope you are bald because the water pressure in the shower will do nothing to clean your hair. The staff was helpful and friendly but I would never recommend this hotel.

Bed was not very comfortable, the bathroom wasn’t that clean, the room felt outdated and was very hot in the 2nd floor and in the hallway, a/c was ok just enough to keep from getting hot while we slept! Breakfast was horrible and cold and not much to choose from!
It was very convenient and for a 1 night stay it was decent enough to get a shower and a few hours of sleep!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I gave 2 stars because the bed was comfortable, but the dank and musty odor of the room, the stained towels (all the towels with big yellow spots), and the large nail clipping on the bathroom counter prevented me from giving more stars. Oh, and the front counter employee was asleep behind the desk.

Oh man - we have stayed at this hotel before and it was fine. Unfortunately this trip it was not fine. The bathroom barn door left a 3-4 inch gap - I could literally see my husband walk by the door when I was sitting on the toilet. There was no coffee at breakfast one morning, and another morning the breakfast area was a mess with hardly any food options and no utensils. Our last morning there was also poop in the elevator. We will not be staying here again unless it is the absolute last option available :(

We reserved this months ago and are no strangers to budget hotels. We checked in later in the evening and were sent to a first floor room right near the office. The room smelled gross -- moist, musty, moldy -- even though the a/c was running. I tried to turn on the tv adn the remote was so sticky. So I jokingly wrapped it in a bag for the ice and tried to turn on the tv but the tv didn't work. Then we noticed everything else: the mold on the door, the carpet was damp and the bedsheets were dirty and stained. The bathroom door didn't close. Overall it was the most disgusting hotel room i've ever been in (and we travel with two large dogs so we know budget hotels!). We asked to be moved to a different room and were told the hotel was sold out and there were no other rooms. So we called expedia who told us they'd help us resolve the charge and we left to a different hotel. My first time ever leaving a hotel due to cleanliness.

Would have rated this property higher had I not gone into the bathroom. Toilet seat slid around. Stoppers in sink and tub were broke so had to take both out for water to drain. Shower liner full of mildew. Water pressure average, not great.
We stayed in the first room off the lobby, across from elevator and ice machine. Never heard either one. Beds and pillows were comfortable enough.
Breakfast was not as advertised. No waffle set up, no cereals, no breads, no juice, and food provided was not prepared well.
However, for the price I would stay here again.
