I had the room in the rear of the building. I guess that since I paid the Expedia price, this was the “budget” room? I had the room with a stain underneath the mattress… not sure if that’s a drink or human fluid of some kind.
The room smelled terrible… it smelled really bad.

I was so tired from long distance driving that I did not want to bother. I had high expectations based on the reviews but I am not at all impressed.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It had a fridge & microwave. The bed was comfortable and sheets & comforter were very white. The only issue to me was that the images online showed a pool but there wasn't one. I think that really had to do with how confusing the internet is sometimes. The front desk people were pleasant & easy check-in. I'm not sure why it gets low ratings. It is a good value for the price. We would stay there again. Soda machine was $1.00 (Yahoo).

We only interacted with the staff at check in. The gentleman was kind and helpful. There is pretty decent coffee in the morning but no real breakfast - this isn’t that kind of hotel. The room was immaculate and looked newly remodeled. Everything worked. I appreciated the tub with an anti-slip guard adhered to the floor. Have not seen that in other hotels. Will stay there again as we travel through this area. We were only there for one night - checked in around midnight and had to be on the road by 9am.

The biggest issue I experienced was the rudeness at check‑in. The man at the front desk (possibly the owner) couldn’t locate my reservation and asked for my license, phone number, and confirmation number. Even after I provided everything, he remained disrespectful and acted as if I hadn’t booked a room at all. They really should have someone competent and courteous handling guest check‑ins, because this created a terrible first impression.

The property itself was fine. It’s older and could use some updates—starting with the microwave—but the room was clean, and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the man’s attitude at check‑in was enough for me to decide I won’t stay here again, though it worked for a short visit.

The room was clean and I recommended it to others. We were in town to pick up our new puppy. I told the front desk that we had no animals but were picking up the pup the next morning and head home. While loading up our luggage, someone came in to clean a room on the first floor and saw my husband holding the puppy and said \"You were not supposed to have the dog in your room!!\"...which we didn't. We had just met the breeder in the parking lot...AND had just told her how nice it was and that they were pet friendly but there was a fee. She was going to tell others that came to get pups from her about the hotel...but after the man barked at my husband, I'm not sure she will. The staff just need to approach things a little nicer...it could cost them business when they are confrontational : (

Room was ok large amounts of dirt and dust in the heating unit causing room to smell bad. Check in went wrong from the start owner could not find all my information from my on line purchase and was very upset acting like I was trying to pull one over on him that we had made a purchase or not. Went as far to tell me there would be trouble if another person showed up with same check in number. Not sure what that meant but at that point didn’t care what that meant! All and all make sure you have all your info right if you are going to stay here.

Make sure you have cash if you have pets!

The room I was in was pet friendly and flooring was LVP, which I appreciated. It was very clean but did have a slight dog smell (I had a cat staying with me). The microwave and mini-fridge was very old. These appliances need updating. Also, I was charged a $20 pet fee which had to be paid in cash as I had prepaid through Hotels.com. This was not mentioned on the Hotels.com website. It was fortunate that I had $20 in cash (which I seldom carry cash), otherwise, the manager told me the reservation would have been cancelled without a refund.

The room was clean but the tub did not drain so you stood in water while taking a shower. There was a huge crack in the sink. I had to wait while the gentleman at check-in finished what sounded like a personal phone call. Don’t expect a real breakfast. The breakfast was crackers, pre- wrapped honey buns, and granola bars. Asked manager to change to back side and he said no rooms where available, but if I paid $20 extra he would move me. Well the back side was not full only 5 cars in the back. At midnight a trash truck woke us up emptying a trash bin at next door McDonalds. When leaving I asked for receipt and he copied my original receipt before taxes.
My final bill was $20 a night over original price.

Found this motel last minute on the way home from a trip. It's an older style motel but is maintained pretty well. Was clean and comfortable. Area feels pretty safe. AC worked well. Didn't look into the breakfast offering. But judging by the small area dedicated to it in the front office, I would expect it to be minimal. So add sin as we opened the car doors we could smell the sent of fresh laundry. All the way around the building. The lobby smelled clean as well. The showers were amazing. Hot water and major water presser. It felt amazing after a 10 hour drive. The bed in my opinion was fine. I woke up without back pain for the first time in forever. But, it was to hard for my husband. If you like a lot of blankets you may want to bring your own as the blankets are kinda thin. I get hot at night so it worked for me. Blankets also had a few small, faint stains but they were washed. It's a motel. But, we were actually pretty impressed over all.
