This was the only hotel available when George Strait was in Lubbock otherwise I would've left. You have to check in with a kiosk, there is no front desk help. The 1st room i was given was under construction, then I was told room 230 was not the one I went to that was labeled 230 but a room on the 1st floor near the front desk that didn't even have a room number on it. That 2nd room only had one bed when I reserved 2 beds. Back to the kiosk I go, 3rd room was already occupied! Their belongings all over the bed, glad I didn't walk in on anyone. 4th room which wasn't even ready before we had to leave for the concert was ok. It was only one night but if there were other options, I would've left.

The first room they gave us the TV didn’t work then they moved us further down to where all the contractors were partying loudly. Our new room the toilet didn’t work, luckily my husband was able to fix it to get it to flush, but didn’t work after that either. Very shabby place sad!

Beds were made but the sheets had not been cleaned. Beds were dirty, stained with body fluids and lots of pubic hair.

I left the room immediately and requested a refund from Days Inn. They said they could not issue me a refund since I booked through Expedia. I contacted Expedia and was told that the issue would be resolved. But no one has contacted me from either Expedia or the Hotel to make it right.

Dont stay here!

False advertising. No bar. No restaurant. Free breakfast is cereal or a pkgd muffin. Safety was a concern as the inside lock on the door was broken and there was about an inch gap or more under the door. There were unsavory characters milling around the parking lot all night long. The room was every bitof 100 degrees. The AC unit was off when we arrived to our room and it struggled all night to cool the room. It was miserable. It didnt get cool until the next morning at about 10 am. The bed was very very very firm. Pillows moderately soft and super hot. The light above the sink outside of the bathroom was very dim and i couldn't see well enough to put my makeup on. The tv has only about 4 or 5 local stations...no cable. I wish i would have paid the extra 20 dollars and stayed somewhere else. I will never stay somewhere that has the wyndham name attached to it again. This was a horrible experience.

My wife went on hotels.com to get me a room since I’m out of town on business. When I arrived they couldn’t find the room, despite it already being booked, paid for & confirmed 2 hours earlier. Spent over an hour trying to get it sorted out & never did. I eventually left, went to a different hotel & booked myself. I did at least get a refund since my company was paying for it. Very frustrating!

Overall it was good. I would say that there were some cosmetic maintenance things that could happen that would make it feel nicer, but overall it was good. The staff were super nice and friendly at check in. It felt safe. The bed was pretty comfortable for me, which is saying something because I tend to have back issues.

Room was a good value as we were only looking for a place to sleep for the night. Hotel didn’t have cable/WiFi because of a service problem but again not an issue as we got in late and left early. Breakfast is minimal but that was factored into price we wanted to pay.

The guy that worked the night shift was one of the best examples of customer service that I have ever experienced. We stayed the night after a long drive from Atlanta Georgia in a commercial truck. He offered his personal vehicle for us to use to go grab a meal. I have never experienced that type of service from any one and was impressed by the offer.

The door lock would not turn to dead bolt the door and there was no door security guard to reinforce safety. It had apparently been forced off as there were gouged out holes and bends in the steel door where the screws should have been. There were also dead bugs in the room. The beds, however were clean and comfortable and the staff friendly.

Air conditioner was not functioning and started to leak overnight. Soaking my work clothes and the surrounding area with moldy water. I advised the hotel and they said they dont have a maintenance person available to fix it. Wasnt offered any other options so I was forced to check out. Upon check out the Manager was extremely rude and refused to adress the $400 in Fire Resistant work clothing that was ruined.

There was no notice that the pool did not work in the 100 plus Texas heat. Very Hard to get up and down the awkward stairs. Smoking rooms were right next to non smoking rooms with guest smoking outside your room. Clean up service didn't come at all one day.

The property wasn’t bad but you pay for what you get & it was less than the property next door.
We only needed a few hours sleep but: no hot water in the shower; had to remove toilet tank top to flush the toilet; coffee maker wouldn’t turn on; & there was a dead roach on the floor. Did get a good night’s sleep but next time we’re paying more $ to avoid these things!

Really reasonable rate, clean and updated room. Outside of place needs some paint and repairs, esp to the stairs. Pool area open to bbq but pool not filled. Family owned, nice staff and responsive to replace broken coffeemaker. Considering its a 2 star rating and the rate of I paid it was a fair deal. Upstairs room could be difficult for elders.

The front desk staff was very pleasant. However, I would not recommend staying here unless you are on a tight budget. I stayed here out of necessity and felt very uncomfortable. My children were scared because they saw door knobs opening and closing in different rooms and the area is very desolate. It was clean enough except for the AC vents. I would not stay here again;however, the choices are limited in small towns.

We Specifically drove 30 mins out of the way to this place because it was a “Days Inn” which is typically trustworthy. We arrived at a run down 1 1/2 star facility! We also chose it as breakfast was included and we would be up early to continue our long road trip. “Breakfast” was: cooked scrambled eggs packaged by hand in individual baggies, and then heated in a microwave, 2 slices of bread & waffles (also in baggies) and a toaster. Juice & milk in dirty looking pitchers in a mini fridge, and cereal. I now wish we would have taken pictures, but with our shock & disappointment, we grabbed coffee and headed out! Oh, and the coffee? I am not at all a picky coffee drinker, but the stuff was BAD! The room was old and is in need of an update. Toilet was broken. Beyond frustrated with the waste of $70!
