The lobby staff was very kind and helpful. We were arriving much later than expected, but were able to go eat at a wonderful Mexican restaurant, that she recommended. Luckily they were open until 11 PM on Friday. The room was nicely cleaned and the mattresses very comfortable. A great nights sleep is key after driving 500 miles. Room was supplied well with toiletries. We didn’t use coffee maker or microwave, but they were there with a refrigerator. The outside gazebo under the huge tree was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy reading. The only negative thing about our stay was there wasn’t a hot breakfast as advertised and our door was hard to close and lock. In their defense they would have sent maintenance to fix it if we would have found the problem before midnight. We didn’t report the problem until the next morning. A very quaint quiet stay in a small Texas town. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, recently (last decade it appears) remodel is a clean moderm, Western/Texas theme (photos at headboard).
Good water pressure and hot water.
Nice to have a ceiling fan. Nice blackout curtains.
Polite and considerate Indian lady checked us in very efficiently.
Breakfast was choice of cereals, small yogurts, bagels, wrapped Danish/cinnamon roll (hostess?), think there were frozen waffles (didn't try).

Seems to have been largely unchanged from the Texas/American theme of previous owners. That's fine, motels should have local flavor.

Beds were comfortable, but a bit firmer than I prefer, but certainly within range of a normal hotel mattress. These mattresses may even be better quality than a normal motel mattress, just firm to me.
I would, and probably will, stay here again.

This motel was convenient to the Coliseum. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. There was a large residential size refrigerator, a small table and a place to hang clothes. The door's strike plate was loose, so the door didn't lock well. I notified the front desk, but nothing seemed different when I got back to the room. It was clean enough, but old and needs updating. I had trouble getting the TV to come on. Management came over and we found one of the cables was not plugged in all the way. Didn't get to utilize the breakfast.

I'm a picky traveler and generally stay at hotels with room service and a concierge, but I couldn't resist after reading other reviews for this place.

Don't let the exterior fool you! This place is clean, comfortable and quiet. It delivers what the more expensive hotels promise: a good night's sleep.

The rooms are renovated, And although they still have a \"motel\" feel, I was impressed with just how comfortable it was.

If you're passing through and need a place, skip the Hampton and stay here. You won't regret it

What a cute cozy little place! We're used to staying in cheap motels across the country so we keep our expectations in line with this price range. We were blown away. I've never seen a motel bathroom so new and clean. Small room but perfectly cozy with everything you need, even a desk and 2 comfy chairs, a smaller fridge AND a full fridge, and most importantly - the most comfortable bed and softest sheets and blankets, it seriously reminded me of staying in a 5 star hotel. (And I've paid 3 times this price for uncomfortable beds and scratchy sheets!) The front desk is just gorgeous, so many plants it's like being in a little jungle! This place has so much character. Staff was very kind and accommodating. From the outside it looks like your basic run of the mill motel but what you actually get is miles ahead of any motels across the country I've encountered within this price range. This place is a gem in the rough and I hope to get the chance to come back sometime.

I don’t know how this place has good reviews, but do not trust them.
I normally stay in a different hotel when I am in Snyder and I wish I would’ve stayed there again this time. We decided to try this one because it had good reviews and was a little cheaper. That was a huge mistake. The bed was so hard and terrible, the pillows were terrible. The sheets and towels are scratchy and cheap. The carpet & comforter was dirty.
And when we arrived, it was over 90° and they didn’t even have the AC on, so we had to take our dogs and go drive around and wait for the room to cool off enough just so that we could stand to be inside. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I was hesitant about staying here looking at it from the parking lot but went ahead based on a friends recommendation. Glad I did. A little dated on the outside but room itself was very nice, clean, and very quiet. Check in and out was easy and quick. Friendly staff. Phenomenal price. Would stay here again.

I stayed here for one night on my way through town, and would definitely stay again. Check in was easy, and the room was clean and as pictured. There’s a bit of road noise at night, but nothing that can’t be solved by running the fan unit or some ear plugs.

Coffee, cereal, toast, and a few fruits available at the breakfast. Nothing fancy, but enough to get you going.

Front office check in staff was less than helpful. I was pulling a trailer and asked for a way to get around to our room. He kept telling me to take a route that was blocked by other vehicles and said it’s the only way to get there. This morning I see a road that was accessible. Very disappointed

Had to leave because doors wouldn’t lock on two rooms they put us in and bad chemical odor and my 80 year old husband has pulmonary fibrosis and it wasn’t 15 minutes and they won’t refund our money that we paid for two nights. Don’t use this place. Says only owner can do and he’s out of town. We learned a hard lesson in time of not being able to stay in our house because of a water leak.

They are excellent when I pay first day was wonderful and super clean and smell fresh and when I went to pay another day around 8am some how housekeeping and maintenance did enter that room and touch and removed my property which isn’t checkout by 11am when Hsk saw my property was there so not touch anything but they did it as well some how owner sent me a free card about free buffet @ pizza inn how wonderful and didn’t sent another free card for my partner which I was charged

My family had clothes to wash and from the pictures on the web site made the laundry room look clean. It was horrible! It was dirty, it smelled awful, and had broken machines.
The room was ok. Could of been better. There was a gum on the ac unit that someone left. The office was a jungle because there was plants hanging everywhere. On the walls, on the ceiling and all over the breakfast areas. I knew we would not be eating breakfast in there just for thst reason. The plants made the office look dirty and unprofessional. Not welcoming at all. We won't be staying there again.

This old school design motel. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Looks like the owners are doing their best to keep up with an older property. They need to update their website as there is no pool. When asked where the pool was the lady said \" oh I guess we should take that off we filled the pool in and made a parking lot\" yes and take down your photos of the pool as well. Our security bolt in our room did not work, no light bulbs in lamps, only hot water worked in sink, and the bathroom counter came out over the toilet. Not saying i would never stay here again. It was clean and an easy place for a one night stop over.

A nice little family owned motel in Snyder.
Rooms were well kept, well maintained and very clean.
The motel was owned by a couple who were on site running the business from day to day. You can tell they put their heart and souls into keeping the place up. I would say that it was more like a Bed and Breakfast than a motel. Nice vibe.

Not so hot.

No breakfast due to covid, and I can understand that. But there was a previously used coffee filter (from an earlier guest), and no new coffee packs in the room. I went to the office to get some, and they said they didn’t have any. Don’t think I’ll be staying here again. Not worth the price.

I think that because we were traveling with a pet we were given a sub-standard room. It didn’t look like the pictures posted on Hotels.com. The hair dryer plug looked dangerous, there was no smoke alarm, and the room had too much furniture. The hosts were wonderfully gracious and friendly.

We mostly liked this property. Pros: It has extended suites which I didn't notice when booking it or I might've tried one. They have full sized fridge and microwave. Decent sized rooms. Full beds. Sample hygiene products and blow dryer with towels in room. Cons: I felt itchy but thought maybe it was just the linens. My husband didn't get a lot of rest, he felt itchy all night and woke with bites. My son told me he was also itchy. I was picking our room up before leaving when I noticed a bug crawling in the bed... I'd never seen a bug like this before and decided to look up pictures of bed bugs. It was actually a bed bug! I didn't even know they were that big. I killed it and there was blood everywhere, similar to a tick. So overall, that ruined the night. My husband notified the front desk about this issue before check out and I took photos for reference. My husband might end up calling hotel for refund, which is a shame because it's a decent hotel at a decent price otherwise. Check in late at night was interesting; talking through glass on a phone with a little window to hand my id and license to the receptionist. Not an issue though as it's a good added security feature, just different from what I'm used to.

The price was good. Although we arrived after midnight the hotel manager was pleasant. There was a problem with the room key and we just made do. The sheets were clean as were the bath towels. No remote for the TV. The A/C was good and cold. The bed was comfortable. Because we had our small dog with us, I asked for a pet friendly room. It smelled as if other pets had used the carpet for their business and it hadn't been cleaned all that well. Overall. A good night's sleep and down the road again.
