There are numerous things that make hotel not worth staying. The room wasn’t clean; strains are visible bathroom sinks. Parking lot is not clear even a while after of the last snow. Obviously, it is hazard for anyone stay. The worst is that the room has a strong smoke smell and hotel declines to do anything.

Lastly, if you have no choice and end stay here, be careful of people around the hotel. There is a guy talking to himself and a rundown car with people smoking pots staying overnight. Again, hotel is unwilling to do anything to address the issue upon informing.

Bathroom sink did not drain. Hair from shaving around sink and on toilet seat. Noisy as room faced interstate highway side whick was my bad and future learning experience. The king bed on metal frame on wood smooth floor was very noisy when rolling in bed...Staff was nice and receptive to few if issues.

Floor was dirty, noticed as I was packing to leave a tampon wrapper on the floor. Marijuana smell throughout. NO soap at all, was dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and hand soap and all were empty. Would not stay here again even if it was only $50

The room was not upkept, there were beetle bugs around the room, the towels had fingerprints on them(i used those for the floor) the floor hadnt been cleaned, the tv kept scanning for channels, the bathroom sink wasn't cleaned, old toothpaste stuck in sink, broken towl hooks lay on the sink, dust on the sink. I managed to make the best of it but would not recommend.

this hotel was a last-minute book, and I would never again. although the staff was nice the hotel looked like it was thrown together with spare parts. the first room had a dirty bathroom the toilet had a ring around the bowl, hair in the sing and the tub was filthy. the room I switched to has a room door that didn't touch the ground, so you heard everything that was going on in the hallway. also, I'm not sure if people live there but there was a smell of cat urine in the hallway. thankffully it was only 1 night.

They do a good job for service they give for price they keep. That’s a good thing. Place is as safe as it can get closer to lake George and save you 100-200 $ for sure.

Now, I did see a black roach twice near window. One I had to stomp and other disappeared. May be with trees around, window open they get in but nonetheless you have to be careful.
They were on walls.

The property was just fine. The staff was polite and friendly. I had reserved a King Room, and upon entering the room I was given, I was completely disappointed when I found 2 double beds. When I brought this to the desk clerk's attention, he said there were no King Rooms available. If the room I reserved was not available, why was I not informed prior to my arrival? I would have made other plans. On an anniversary trip, my husband and I had to sleep separately. After using Orbitz for over 20 years, I'm wondering if reservations through this organization can be trusted.

The hotel is right next to the highway and the room was fairly noisy. The door to the stairwell that I was using was propped open and the doors to the unused rooms were open so it was not inconceivable that there could have been non-guests staying there so I was on high alert. The property was not altogether clean and the cost of a night did not align with the property. I would likely not stay there again.

Don’t stay here!! Disgusting!!

This place is disgusting!!! Had to switch rooms 4 times in 18 hrs. From the fresh blood and grease stains and shower that didn’t look like it was cleaned in a week, to the renovation all weekend with dogs barking, it’s the worst stay anywhere I have ever stayed. Staff was horrible, rooms were disgusting. No security, side doors were always unlocked so anyone could just walk in anytime. I have reached out about this directly to Red Roof corporate. I would take this place off your site. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The shower/Tub was disgusting! There was a dead cockroach in it. There was mold around where the shower wall meets the tub…like all the way around it. People were putting things to hold the entry/ exit doors to the building open so u didn’t need a key. While the front grassy area was respectable and relatively clean our room was outdated, musty smelling and dirty. I will say the bed was comfortable

When I went to check in, they told me I had no reservation because Super 8 was bought by Red Roof Inn, but they didn't let me know, and they didn't honor my booking. So I had to pay twice as much at another place.

I will never stay here again

The building is under renovation so there were boxes of supplies at the entry doors. The building was not secure, anyone could have walked in the side doors. our room was not very clean there were holes in the window shades and the noise from people walking about was very loud. The bathroom sink was not clean and the water constantly dripped at the sink. The refrigerator did not get very cold. Upon arrival there was no remote for the TV in the room so I had to go to the front desk and ask for one. Two different employees tried to program the remote but could not figure it out so my friend and I had no television for the evening. The vending machine was out of order so we could not get drinks.

We checked in, and moved our car closer to the direction they said our room was in. When we parked we were in front of a broken window taped together, and there was a woman screaming and cursing outside of the entrance. That area with the broken window ended up being our room. In addition to that, the room was dirty. We only needed the room for one night but left immediately. It felt unsafe and definitely didn’t give clean and cozy vibes. Lesson learned - Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get something clean in a better environment.

This is the last time I will stay in a Red Roof Inn. The property was in a parking lot next to a Taco Bell. The general areas were dirty. It looked like the stairs and hallways hadn't seen a vacuum in weeks. The doors to the rooms were scratched and while the bedding looked clean, there was a funky, moldy smell in the room. Additionally, the bathroom was not particularly clean, the towel bars came off the walls, and the floors were cracked.

It looks like they’re in the middle of renovating. But leaving the tack strip on the stairs was a terrible choice. My dogs struggled to go up and down the stairs.

Also, someone tried to enter my room at 4 AM. My dogs woke me up and started growling. I assumed it was someone being confused or drunk and it was fine. But then when I went out in the morning, my key didn’t work. This made me extremely uncomfortable and felt like maybe more was going on. We left ASAP.

Immediate smell of marijuana when i entered the lobby. I entered the hallways and smelled terrible of cigarettes and marijuana. 1st and 2nd floor. I had to switch rooms due to the shower not being clean. I went to another room and was not much better. Both rooms still had a musty stentch. No hand towels or wash cloths in the new room. The shower did not drain. On the blanket cover there was dried up white stuff. I didnt even want to begin to think what it could of been. Outside the middle door entrance is a smoking are and people get loud. My fault so trying to save a few bucks. Will go elsewhere. Certainly do no recommend.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but the carpet is in need of a good cleaning. The hot water was out for my last couple of days, and it was certainly inconvenient as I was unable to take a hot shower after work. I was given the option of a refund, but it would require leaving the property and there was not much else available so that wasn't an option. I think offering a partial refund would have been a nice option. The staff was super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The breakfast may as well have been non-existent as there was only packaged muffins and granola bars. Maybe offer some fresh fruit like bananas and apples? Overall, it wasn't a bad stay aside from no hot water.

The Last Resort

I checked in on my phone prior to arriving, to make things easier. Unfortunately the individual at the front desk (not the manager) stated he would have to redo everything & get a copy of my cards himself, because he didn’t have access to the company’s website, where I had previously checked in.
So, check in took roughly 13mins.
That was after waiting for the customer in front of me to be processed, which took even longer. The gentleman waiting behind me with his sick wife was told there was no manager on site last evening, at about 4pm, during check in.
The shower was like warm, at best! Shower curtain kept blowing out of the shower, which resulted in a wet floor, even with using the “bath mat”.
Tried to shower last night, & then again this morning, hoping the water would be warmer, if not more hot.
Nope! Still a bit chilly.
Came out for “breakfast” at about 7:30am. (See pic) Smdh I was amazed thay could claim a gas station spread as breakfast! Everything individually wrapped. No drinks other that caffeinated coffee or tea offered. Not so much as a napkin or plate in site, so naturally the counter was sticky & a mess (I cleaned it with tissues from my room lol) .
Oh, and don’t forget the other “guests”! DSS leaches who stay here with DSS paying for their rooms. I met a couple of them last night and was taken aback by how quickly they said that’s how they were able to stay here. They looked shady af or I wouldn’t have cared.
Lastly, tv is not compatible with ANY apps.

When I questioned having to provide ID and payment for the occupant of our second room (I had booked two rooms and paid for both online), the front desk clerk got snippy and said they could cancel the charge and I could go somewhere else. I should have taken him up on the offer, because the stay went downhill from there. Dated, cheap furnishings, highway noise, lack of outlets, use of cheap extension cord to power microwave and mini fridge. Absolutely NO hot water, not even warm, even after letting it run. Mattresses and box springs were ancient and thin. Never again.

Got there at about 6pm, 40 degrees outside window open about 10\", room 60 degrees. Chased a cockroach around, finally got him the next morning. Outside door by my room did not work, used another door further away. Torn carpet going into bathroom, tripping hazard. Toilet did not flush reliably; tub base was very worn and dirty. In adequate lighting in room. Carpet marginally clean. Main sign from road not illuminated, made it hard to find entrance to hotel in the dark.

Although the room looked clean, it smelled extremely musty and moldy. Check in was very slow even though I finished all the precheck-in questions on line. Reception person was nice and polite but had an obvious visual impairment with no adaptive technologies provided. Breakfast was a farce. We arrived at 8:00am to \"breakfast bar\" that consisted of coffee, few pastries and granola bars, and a few pieces of bruised fruit. There was no cereal, yougart, waffles, or juice as advertized. There was no space or refrigeration so it was obvious this items are never available. Nothing for a diabetic at all! The family that arrived behind us, did not even have enough for them each to have one item. It was supposed to be open until 9:00 am and no refills were offered. If you are not going to provide a breakfast , DO NOT ADVERTIZE IT!

The location is great, right off 87... the beds were pretty terrible. They were like sleeping on a pull out couch bed. There was an awful smell in the room from the moment we walked in and ot amplified by 200% as soon as the ac was on. Without the ac the room is very stuffy. Rough night.

The rooms were old but clean, tub drain was clogged, air conditioner did not work. I was informed after signing in that the key card system was down and that each time I needed to enter my room I would need to go the the front desk and have an employee open my door. the few times I needed the door opened I was never asked for ID to show that was my room so they was opening any room for anyone without checking to see if that was the proper room. In the morning when going to my car there was drug paraphernalia on the ground where children could come in contact with needles and other unsanitary things. while asleep the large picture on the wall over the bed fell on top of me startling me from my sleep. when mention to staff about the picture they didn't even seem to care. I was so dissatisfied I checked out early and will never be back!
