Can't complain
Stephanie
It was excellent.
Jeanne
Pool was out of order and looked to have been for awhile. Hotel was old and not very well maintained. The smell of cooking was very strong and specifically, curry, which I love but not while I'm sleeping. Bathroom door was warped and wouldn't open completely. AC thermostat was messed up. Some of the lights didn't work.No bugs. Beds comfortable and clean. No elevator and stairs were dirty. Breakfast didn't start until 9 am and not much to choose from anyway.Paid for amenities that were out of order or we didn't feel comfortable eating.
Tania
Good location
Janet
Breakfast was not very satisfying. My husband and grandson went out and brought fast food back to the room. I had to ask the receptionist for another towel. There were three of us and only two sets of towels. Everything else was ok.
James
Everything was great. Lots of stuff to see in the area. Check out the Red Skeleton museum. I stay for work and will definitely stay again.
Chad
Definitely welcomed. Nice staff.
Shawn

The room appeared clean. The lighting in the room was subpar. The front desk clerk had to change the light bulb in the bathroom which helped a little. The sink lighting was poor. The bed was awesome; we slept very well. We didn't eat breakfast as it had been taken down.
Tayler
Needs updating. Room has musty smell. It was what was expected for the price.

Jerri
That was super friendly and I believe his name is John put a smile on my face made me feel welcome
Richard
Room smell like cigarette smoke. Linens smelt like body oder. Trash can not emptied. I will never stay here again!!!
Randal
Neighbors were noisy and air condition above us dripped all day and night and kept me awake. The price was high for the poor quality room and alarm clock was busted.
Heather
Do not stay here
This is NOT a safe place to stay! Needles in the parking lot, doors kicked in,holes in doors, stained dirty disgusting bedding, horroble smells, people yelling all night, living in the hotel, words scratched into the furniture. Worst hotel ever !

Noisy

In general, the room is okay and the king bed comfortable. The room is decorated and laid out nicely. Unfortunately, the chair was ripped and the stuffing coming out. Also, the key strike on the door was loose. The breakfast needs a little work - very few items. Especially healthy ones, yogurt, fruit (apple or orange). It is worth the cost overall though.
Valerie
They accused us of smoking inside of the room and we most definitely didn't and was told that they would be refunding the money 2-3 days after we checked out and it never happened and our cash deposit was also kept with the excuses of dirty towels and pillow case. Just totally outrageous and very rude all except for the one receptionist guy he was outstanding and good luck with noise because it has people drinking and making racket till the very early of hours. Just saying it was clean decently
Valerie
Very nice
Mike
Friendly staff. Cleanliness was good. AC unit in my room was rather loud. Free breakfast was a joke. Stale ceral. Only other option was waffles.

Best Stay to Date
Best stay I have had in Vincennes and I've been coming here Memorial Day weekend for years.
kevin
Great staff. Easy checki on . Nice rooms.
Julie
Our Stay Was Good, Quiet, Friendly, Clean, Good Water Pressure and Hot Shower, beds were okay, some cigarette burns in our blankets, but Room didn't smell like cigarettes. Our Room had a nice view, that wasn't towards the business side, enjoyed seeing the geese and their babies. The breakfast wasn't anything we were interested in, we prefer a hot breakfast. We would stay there again as long as the Rooms remain the same, did seem to have workers staying there, but no issues.
Dana M
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room initially didn't have a remote. Some of the washcloths had stains on them.
Jeffrey Allan
Great location for my needs. Staff was great, very helpful. There is construction taking place in adjacent area. The only issue I found with the 2-night stay was a slight musty smell, but an air freshener took care of that. Overall great visit.
Daniel J.
Good place for the price. Walking distance to a convenience store and McDonald's
jeremy
Ok for a cheap place to stay

We had two rooms. One room was fine and the other room had dirty sheets. How gross! We slept on top the covers with other blankets.
Ronnie
Ok
Duane
Horrible management. Broken down automobiles with oil leaking all over parking area- The children running wild all through the night- The roaches, the people living in the hotel. I was made to pay a fee for my legitimate service animal. I would not suggest this place to anyo e.
Jaime
I ended up not staying there at all and had my money refunded. It listed a pool and there wasn't one. The guy at the desk was real nice I do have to say that. He refunded my money because my kids were upset over not being able to swim.
Miesha
Not a hotel I would recommend anyone to go to. We had to leave and wouldn’t go back.
Anthony
It was cheap
Linda
I liked the cleanness of the rooms, but I didn't like being put in a room with no air working, no phone . It's one thing or another that is broke, not working or not available.
Dorothea
Filthy floors invluding a dead bug in the bsthroom. . Microwave was dirty inside. Sink had water spits all around. Not a single cup for coffee or even water. Towels and sheets had stains on them. Air conditioner took 3 1/2 hours to cool the room. Toilet shifted as though not attached to the floor solidly. Only good point was lots of hot water. If I were the owners of this property, i would be embarrassed to acknowledge it as mine.
Kathy
Very nice and clean. Friendly staff

Had better had worse clean place to lay head
It was a short notice stay… rooms was way out dated and room had funny smell but once it cooled off in room smell died down to where u could tolerate it… room had plenty of sleeping space 3 queen beds and sleeper couch…
Kathleen
I liked the motel.
Rebekah
Checked in and went to the room. Opened the door and the stench that came out the door was enough for us to leave. Went down to the front desk and left. Had to find another place to stay.
William
There was cockroaches

I stayed for a total of 3 weeks for work. Out of 3 weeks I had a night where I got into my room and the bed wasn’t clean. The hotel was sold out so there were no other rooms available. It was a long day and I was already exhausted. I talked to the manager, and they personally went and cleaned the room up for me and got me situated. Not a lot of hotels will have that happened. Just the extra care to get me taken care of meant a lot. I would recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.
philip
The hotel met my needs for the night. Not an attractive area but was okay especially since the room was free with my Expedia rewards.
Tim
Loud trashy people crappy breakfast an the sheets smelled but yoy get what you pay for
Joyce
Wasn't much for breakfast. No fruit
Robert
Nice staff and good housekeeping.
Deborah
We stayed at this hotel for the eclipse. The only good things I can really say are that 1) the desk clerk was very friendly and she really tried to help us with our various room issues, and 2) our confirmed room rate was honored, as we booked a year in advance and prices had been jacked up to $300/night for the eclipse (though we did receive phone calls last fall telling us they didn't intend to honor our confirmed rate). The room we were given wasn't worth $50/night. Rooms keys kept failing, bathroom door wouldn't close completely and scraped the floor hard when opening/closing, no remote control for the TV, a non-working refrigerator, and lights that randomly came on by themselves. We ended up cutting our stay short and left a day early.

Eclipse stay
We were staying over the night of eclipse and for a room that only cost you 70$ a night was priced gouged to almost 400$, ridiculous!! Especially for a room that doesnt deserve the normal 70$ they charge. You can see where they've patched holes throughout the room the bathroom door had a big hole in it and all was just poorly painted over. Went to turn in key card and no one was even at the desk. Lesson learned would never stay there again
Jacqueline
Nice front desk. Very helpful. Dirtiest chair I’ve ever seen in a motel
Rebecca
This hotel has always been very pleasant. The employees are very kind. It is convenient to our visits. The down size is there was no maid service unless we asked.
Thomas
Very good price. Clean, nice room. Friendly service.
Deena

The service was fine but the cleanliness of the first room was horrendous. The second room was better but still needed a vacuum. There were marked stains on the bed spread, no vacuum has been used and there was a towel on the back of the door. Two towels and one wash cloth. The second room was better. Needed a vacuum to it and the toilet seat was broken but better than the first.

Don’t go!!
Horrible service,old thin wall rooms
David
Clean and comfortable, but outdated decor. Rooms have refrigerator and microwave.
Nancy
Was okay place for quick overnight stay. Helpful staff, quiet, minimal breakfast offerings
Linda
Disappointing
the back outside door was never secured (locked). The shower sprayed all over. Breakfast was minimal, coffee was watery. However, the staff were very friendly.

Economical stay
My room was clean and comfortable. The main corridors smelled musty, like is almost always the case at budget hotels. For the price paid per night, it wasn't bad.
Kimberly
Vincennes
Service was great. Room was pretty clean. Bed comfortable. Have never seen a hotel with so many fixtures (smoke detector, door locks etc) missing. In recent times i have not seen many hotels with a microwave, coffee pot but no bliw dryer.
Kimberly
Super clean!
For a single night, it was fine. Very clean but a musty odor in room. We aired it by opening a window. For just a place to sleep, can’t beat the price. I would not stay longer as location not great.
Robert
There was a very strange and concerning person hanging out at the front desk during my check in, asking me personal questions, staring at me and acting in an almost criminal manner. The front desk person seemed to know him. It was VERY unsettling. I later learned this person was a guest of the motel and someone with a serious drug problem. Room service did NOT service my room during my stay. On my last night there, the guest in the room left the TV blaring almost the entire night - until at least 3am. This is the first and LAST time I will stay in a cheap hotel. I was travelling alone and thought I could save a few dollars. I regret that now. Finally, the breakfast was not in any sense worth eating. The coffee was not great but appreciated.
Jenny
Advertised that they had a pool....but not working. Room was so dirty. I wanted to leave but my husband said we would stay sinve we were checked in. I didnt walk anywhere in the room without my shoes on. Room smelled and carpet in wall was even worse!!!! I would take this motel off your list !!!
Dianna
Find a different place!
The only reason I give this a 1 is because the bed was fairly comfortable. Hard to say when the hall, stairs and room had been vacuumed. Was just dirty. The chair in our room needed to go to the dump. Cigarette holes in the bedspread. Will never be a place we recommend.
Jerry
Door to the room would not close properly. Photos of property are misleading.
John
The room looks clean, but there is a broken lamp and 2 broken lamp shades. Overall the room is kind of dark. You can hear noises from the hall too. Hopefully that gets better as the night goes on. This is a fair property at best. Don’t expect more than that.
Tim
The floors were dirty in the bathroom and carpet needed a good vaccuming. Needs room refresher.
Patricia
I was given a room which already had a couple in it who were surprised and NOT happy when I opened the room door. Carpet in hallway was dirty. No elevator so I had to drag bags up and down stairs. They refunded my money and I left.
James
everything was fine
jeffrey
Room 212 the tv cable was broken. They sent us to room 211. The inside bathroom door plywood cover was loose. Have to fix it. They did not take of care the broken. At 8:20 we walked in and the service on the counter didn't say hi and welcome. At 8:35 my daughter walked to the swimming pool and he told her the pool is closed. It was only 25 minutes to close. She was very unhappy. I don't really appreciate it. For breakfast, the muffins and donuts were out. They didn't buy it for the next day. I can't believe what was happening.
Chad
Pool wasn't open, much to the chagrin of my 11 year old. Other than that the place served it's purpose.
Tina
First arrived to room 205 TV didn't work. Got moved to next room, door
Won't latch from outside!! No fire alarm, just wires hanging from ceiling! Toilet seat falling off, bathroom door knob is broken. This place is unsafe unsanitary, frankly needs to be knocked down!

I can share pictures. Wires hanging from cieling where smoke alarm should be. Bathroom door busted and didn't work. Gross stains on carpet and bed skirts. Really folks, this was filthy. Ripped bedsheets in multiple spots. Pool was closed and this was a required criteria for our daughter. Ice machine didn't work. Breakfast was only some small Walmart muffins and waffle batter & iron. The place was so dirty, we opted to go elsewhere for breakfast. In my almost 60 years, this one is about the worst of all time. Will not return.
Leigh
After making reservations on Wednesday, when we arrived on Sasturday, we were told that they were overbooked so they transferred us to an other motel about 3 miles north, which was an utter disaster.

Vincennes Visitor
Clean and comfortable. The back door lock was out of service and entry could be accessed by anyone. Dirty towels were placed outside a door by a visitor and laid in that spot for a couple of days. Probably because it was a holiday weekend or our stay wasn't long enough, no cleaning and subsequently ran out of coffee pods after day 2. A bit of a \"party\" spot in the gazebo at the back of the building late Sunday night. Not a lot of options in town so I will likely return next year.
Paul
Rather stark and bare bones - no fridge or MW but was as advertised. Inexpensive and clean
Karen
A let down stay
I had booked the hotel because of showing there was an indoor pool. When we arrived, there was a sign saying the pool was closed. We were given our room, and when we got to our room, it was still being cleaned. The room was so-so, has a refrigerator and two microwaves.
Belinda
The hotel was overbooked so I never stayed at the hotel. Ended up staying at a Econolodge. Lesson learned: book directly with the hotel and not through third party.
Greg
Bedcover had holes.
Vanity had coffee stains
Pool needed swept

staff was friendly and helpful was a little noisy the pipes rattle

Snack remnants included in the sheets
Cleanliness issue: pulled back the cover and sheet, and underneath were potato chip crumbs, cheetos-cheese handprints all over the sheet and pillowcase, and a hairband full of hair. Plus, an indentation/hole in the bathroom door where it looks like a bowlingball had been smashed. Saving grace was the evening attendant who gave me clean sheets to go put on the bed and he said he would keep the pool open an extra hour for my kids to enjoy.
Teresa
The propery was clean and in good repair and all the staff members I came into contact with were amazing. We were there for a family member's funeral.
Darin
Nasty dirty

Reasonable price, clean facilities, good breakfast.
karen
room was spacious and very clean, however it was a no smoking facility and my comforter had many burn holes.
The breakfast was very disappointing. I had stayed here many years ago and do not recall it being so skimpy. I guess covid has changed service everywhere. I miss the bacon and eggs, & biscuit & gravy. But would stay here again

Staff was excellent and room very clean.
Larry
Noisy. dog barking at night. Very limited breakfast: no milk, no juice, etc.
Stephen
Dirty, Oh My!
Stains on sheets, sticky and dirty microwave and refrigerator... handles specifically... inside was okay on fridge, but microwave inside was dirty. Odor in room... smelled like it had been smoked in before. TV didn't work, wifi wouldn't work either. Very dirty floor... looked like someone had vomited on the floor and it hadn't been cleaned properly. Pillows were awful! Water had strong bleach smell. stains on the chair... again looked like vomit!
The good... shower water was hot and strong, toilet and bathroom area appeared to be be clean. The mattress was comfortable. Check-in attendant was courteous.
Would not ever stay here again!!!
