They are in obvious renovation mode…though our room was comfortable inside, it was obvious we were in the middle of the construction out in the hall & elevator. Bed was good, pillows not so much. :/
Breakfast was better than we’ve experienced in the recent past (@ other Marriott’s).

The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and had all the comforts of home. It was like your own little condo. It had a full kitchen, which included your own oven and regular size refrigerator. Pans and cooking utensils were all provided in the drawers. The bed was very comfortable! Sheets and towels were crisp and smelled good. 5 stars from us! We will return!

Disappointing Stay for the Price!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory for nearly $170 a night. Upon arrival, I noticed food on the furniture and hair ties in the bathroom, which were major red flags for cleanliness. Additionally, the table in my room had sides that were coming unglued, indicating a lack of proper maintenance.

For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard of service and cleanliness. I suggest the management prioritize these issues for the benefit of future guests.

I cancelled after the “free cancellation” time by a couple hours. I knew I wouldn’t get my entire amount back but it stated online that I would have to forfeit one nights stay plus taxes and fees. That sucks- but okay I’m fine with that. Nothing I could do. The gal on the phone was nice and said thanks she would take care of it.

I checked my bank the next day and They took the entire amount.

It took four days and multiple calls to the property before they would refund me. The property manager said they were doing me a favor by refunding me (minus one nights stay) for part of the amount.

It was very frustrating to deal with not being heard and then being talked to like they were doing a favor for me. When really they were following their cancellation policy.

If you cancel- make sure you follow up and ensure they aren’t nickel and diming you.

One night stand!

A room with a king bed and a sleeper sofa for 3 adults. We chose the room on price we wanted to pay for one night’s stay. We did not know when the sleeper is open for the sleeper using it, movement from one side of room to the other side of the room is impossible. Other than that the room and it’s amenities was excellent.

I must say. The staff was pretty nice but my room was dirty when I walked in and it was late so I was unable to get it clean. We didn’t have enough towels let the front desk know and we still didn’t get any. I think this place has great potential but the housekeepers suck!! From dog air to tags still in the dressers.. we didn’t have any covers or blankets for the pull out sofa..

\"Suite\" option in Vincennes.

Just a quick place to stay overnight, but it was very nice. Pet-friendly, so good for us and our dog. Clean and nice accommodations. For example, there were plenty of USB charging ports in the room, which is a small, but helpful touch. We were traveling with our 2 grown children, so we stayed in a suite, which included 2 bedrooms, a \"living room\" with a sofa bed and a kitchenette with fridge, stove and dishwasher. Plenty of room for us. Would be really helpful if we needed to stay multiple days.

Once I booked this pet friendly hotel and paid at checkin and since I was paying cash they wanted a $50 pet fee, and wanted to charge me incidental fees, damages of $350 on top of the cost of room.. nothing on website said anything about pet fees… nor did they say anything on there website about paying in cash either .. so in a total of over $657 to get a room for one night here. They weren’t sorry for any of it either she was smirking the entire time.. like they were draining my account on purpose… I’ve stayed here before and had nothing of this nature at all… ridiculous people these days..

Had a great stay, the room & property in general were very clean with friendly staff. Plenty of drawers all over (kitchen, bathroom, bedside table) to unpack and stay organized. Especially enjoyed the area map at the lobby entry. Also for the few of us out here that are still smokers, this hotel had the BEST outdoor smoking area I've encountered. Five stars, will def stay again.

Elevator was down the entire stay. Furniture was very uncomfortable in room. Was not a fully stocked kitchen of pots, pans, utensils etc( keep that in mind) fire alarm went off at 1:30 a.m. then again next day person next to us cooking. Other than that a great stay! We stayed 3 days in 2 bedroom suite. The shower is wonderful, the room was very clean. Cooling/heating unit and thermostat in lr and both bedrooms. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The check in experience was terrible. The desk clerk said they needed to swipe my credit card for “incidentals”. She couldn’t tell me what the amount would be. Since we were checking in at close to midnight and really needed a place to sleep, I allowed it. When I got to the room, I got a message from my credit card company that the hotel had put a hold on my card for $1,110.00!! The room was paid for in full two months prior! After several phone calls the next day, management reversed the charge but wanted to swipe my card again for “incidentals”. I didn’t do it and they didn’t press the issue.
When we checked out, we got the same desk clerk that checked us in. She was not friendly. I was not even asked how our stay was.
We stayed 7 nights and received no service until the last day. I had to ask for trash bags, toilet paper and clean towels. I understand it’s an extended stay hotel, but some service should be provided mid-week instead of the last day.
The facility itself was nice enough and it was nice to have a two bedroom suite, so I would consider staying again but not if they’re going to hold my credit card for ransom for over a thousand dollars!

We arrived early because of airline travel and was charged 50$ for early check in. The hotel room floors were not very clean because the bottom of our socks were very dirty, almost black in color. The bathroom shower wall dispensers were not filled so we used the travel size shampoo and conditioner. The refrigerator door handle was not clean.
We were very surprised that was no recycling in either the room nor dining area, not eco-friendly.
The breakfast food selection was good, just limited in quantity.
Besides those matters, our stay was okay.

There were cockroaches in the kitchen, bug droppings in the kitchen drawers, some kind of fragrance vent clips on the air conditioners, ripped carpet, the air conditioners in the bedrooms did not work. And for a suite to have the bed right at the staircase was horrible, all I heard all night was running up and down the stairs. This was the worst stay at a Marriott.

And to no surprise. The same problem with the very same excuse about the TV not working. Was not able to even watch any local channels. Only the hotel channel and FOX News worked.

Marriott should be ashamed of it's name being on this property. You could not even get a piece of paper or a pen in your room to write notes. I used a napkin and my own pen. I needed a needle and thread and there was none in the hotel or even to buy in that facility. The breakfast could not be called food at all. The slightly warm cooked carton eggs had so much salt on them they were not edible. The OJ was like orange canned soda, event the yogurt tasted old. The hard boiled eggs were full of cold water when you tried to take a bite. The room and bathroom were clean, which I am very happy about considering the Covid pandemic.

Trip from hell because of Hotels.com!

We didn’t get to stay here because on the day we were traveling to the hotel from Ohio hotels.com said they couldn’t honor our booking because the hotel overbooked. We were traveling with my in-laws who needed ADA accommodations but none the less our so-called guaranteed reservation that we booked back in March was no longer. We had to find our own accommodations on the fly. We will never use this website again!

The rooms were clean and had nice amenities. We had paid online and were charged by the staff again. When we confronted the front desk about what had happened we were told that it was for a damage deposit and would go back into our account if no damages were made. Never was we told that another charge would be put onto our account and I've never heard of a hotel pulling the damage deposit money out. Just need to put a card on file in case of damages are found after you check out then charged if needed.

$100 dollar surprise charge for one 15-pound dog! We ran to get our masks after seeing a big sign on the door saying masks were required. We entered the lobby and no one (not even the staff person who had to be called) was wearing a mask. The ac did not work; we could not get the temp below 76. The carpet surrounding the unit was soaked with water. No information was provided at clean-in; had to ask for it one question at a time. The room had a nice kitchen which was very clean. We walked to the nearby Chinese restaurant for dinner. It was very affordable and the food was good.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I really liked having the small kitchen and the full-sized coffee pot so I could make my own coffee. The only things that I could wish were a little better was 1. the wifi-it was spotty, and 2- zthe TV which was

Traveled to get our daughter registered for classes at VU, living 5 hours from her college, it was easier to get a room. The full kitchen made it so easy to bring snacks and make sandwiches. My kids enjoyed the pool as well. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. We will stay again!

If ever in Vincennes, IN, this will be the ONLY places I will use for lodging purposes. The staff were incredibly professional, kind and VERY accommodating.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and provided everything anyone would would need from cooking accessories, pots/pans, utensils, as well as dishwasher.

The room provided a large table for workspace, as well as extra seating for TV viewing or for another just to sit back and relax.

I have a service dog, and was given until 3 pm to checkout, since the seminar I taught would end close to that time.

Good continental breakfast, USA Today provided each morning, and all Covid Guidelines were followed.

I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you need to be near the hospital, where I taught. All other restaurants and shopping are within one mile.
