We arrived at 3:00 pm(check in time) but our room was not ready. We had already carried all of our luggage and belongings in. We were told to come back in 30 minutes with no offer to leave our luggage until room was ready. No apologies, no attempts to put us in another room. Then, when we went to bed that night, no remote control in the room. We had 1 towel per person. The hallways and elevators were HOT and muggy. Not very inviting. Will probably not stay here again.

Breakfast was a little sparse.
Yogurt containers were outdated by a week.
Hot foods were lukewarm

The parking lot was a chalange.

The property was beautiful and complete with pool, fitness center and excellent breakfast. My only concern was when an unattended dog was continuously barking at 3:30 PM in the afternoon for at least 30 minutes, when I called the front desk and talked to the employee there, they told me that there was nothing they could do to help the situation. To me, that was unacceptable. They would allow an unattended barking dog to impact other guests when the room number of the occupant was known, the party was known, and their phone number was known. Obviously, they did not want to respond to the complaint.

Clean room, breakfast
Close to shopping.

The room was fine and breakfast was good. The shower had some mold and the spray nozzle didn't operate well at all. Also, the bed wasn't made anytime during my 3 day stay.
Mark
Very nice room, excellent breakfast and variety. Some problems with key cards but polite and helpful staff.
Russ
everything was good
Thomas
The room was clean but they forgot to put towels in the barhroom. The shower was big and I liked the soap on the walls with the shampoo and conditioner. The bed was nice. The pool was small. They did not have ABC where tte basketball game was on. The person at the desk did not know if they had ABC or not. The breakfast was not good for vegetarians because they had meat but they had plenty to eat. The staff was helpful though.
John
Very nice breakfast provided. In an area of nice and upper class dining options. Department stores etc. Safe quiet area.
Daniel
Didn’t like the heavy ornament cover. Was not comfortable and way too heavy.
Was very happy with everything else though and will be back

YES,YES, AND YES!!! OUTSTANDING!
Eileen
Wasn't worth the price
Jennifer
The breakfast area was too small for 10 floors of people. The cleaning people were very rude. 1 elevator was down for maintenance, so the cleaning staff held the other one on the laundry floor all morning one day. The bathrooms are in very poor conditions.
April
Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, property is clean. They could have better seating for outdoors or a fire pit like some of their other properties. Breakfast is low quality. Used to be good but now eggs are watery no bacon just sausage links that taste like rubber
Angel
We've been to this location several times. Today we believe was a one off. The room a/c did not work. Woke up to an 80 degree room. Set it to 70 cool. It just kept rising. Other than, everything else is superb
Mark

Breakfast was great. Yhey accomdated a large important family bereavement event that was greatly appreciated. The front desk hosts were extremely accommodating for the situation that will make for great family stories for years to come. This will now be the preferred location for visiting family in the future. Thank you for your hospitality. John Murawski

When I got there, they said my reservation had been cancelled, and I had to pay a different price. They gave me the paperwork to show you, so that I can get a refund. Please contact me with what I need to do.

Arrived @5:30 pm and was told they didn't have a King room w/sofa-bed clean. They offered to place me in a double room at no extra-cost.
I stated unless they were giving me a refund for the cheaper room, I would like the room that I booked and paid for. Within in minutes there was a King room available🤔

Just an all around Nice Place...I will be staying there again when I travel to the area!

We had an issue with the wifi, and when I went to the front desk about it, the desk clerk, long dark hair, said it is your last name and room number. I said yes, she asked what room, I told her 133, she pulled it up on her end and said B-e-v-e-r is you last name, I told her, YES, I was aware of that. She said if that did not work then there was nothing she could do for me. She was rude and not helpful. She said I can put in a work order, I asked when that would be done and she said the next day, I looked at her and said, how is that helpful? To which she again responded, there is nothing I can do for you, I am just the front desk clerk. We usually stay at Comfort Suites when we visit our grandaughters in Vincennes, but we really like most Hampton Inns, so we switched for this trip. We will NOT make that mistake again!!! The ladies when we checked out were very nice, and the gentleman doing breakfast was super sweet, talking to everyone and being cheerful, and breakfast items were always readily available.
Thank you,
Deanna Bever

I had a great stay
Liebra
friendly staff and clean room on arrival. The only two things that was disappointing was the room did not get serviced and i stayed two nights and the breakfast was tasteless.
Rachel
Lots of variety for breakfast, clean and comfy rooms plus good location to restaurants and college. Exactly what we wanted for visiting and watching some Vincennes volleyball!
Tom
awesome and lots to choose from

I was in town with my elderly mother for her 65th class reunion. I booked a handicap accessible room expecting a roll in shower per the description. However, it was a bathtub with a pull down seat instead. I would also suggest in handicap accessible room that you put a recliner in place of the regular chair as many elderly seniors choose to sleep in recliners because it is too hard to get into a bed.

Lack of service
No room service and I ran out of towels. Tissue ran out the first day but no service meant no more tissues.
Bathtub backed up and would not drain properly.

They gave away our room
I paid for a room with two beds for my brother and me. When we arrived my room was given to someone on the volleyball group that had arrived. We had just traveled in five hours away and my brother had to sleep in a small pull away bed. No compensation … no “sorry” nothing. Our room wasn’t even set up with the extra bed we had to go down stairs and request it at 3am when we arrived.

another work trip
Overall it was a nice stay. I travel for work, and spend a lot of nights in hotels in the midwest. This was a clean hotel. It took awhile to find me a room to check into with a reservation. its near a variety of places to eat. and close to shopping if needed.
Sherry
Friendly, clean and in a great area
Joni
Got what we needed , a good nights rest

We Inconvenience front desk
Everything was wonderful outside of the front desk lady. She wasn't there to help guest. We had to call the hotel to get her to come out of the side room and wait on us. When we arrived she told us there were no vacancies. I went out to the parking lot and was able to make reservations for 2 rooms for my family of 8. On line it showed multiple room available. She acted like we were interrupting her lunch break or something. Hotel was nice, clean and perfect.
Todd
Everything was excellent. You can tell the staff take pride in maintaining the facilities and taking great care of their guests.
Tiffany
We had two rooms one had a broken bathroom door the other had an air conditioner leaking so badly it was puddled in the floor halfway past the bottom of the bed usually always have a good stay but this time I wouldn’t rate so highly.
Michael
Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast selection.
DAVID
Nice spot to spend the night. Several restaurants within walking distance
Shirley A
The rooms were very clean and the food was delicious with great selection I really liked that the breakfast menu changed daily

Room, staff, breakfast was great! I've been traveling for work for a month now, different hotel every night and this was by far my favorite place.

Jenice
The area was very quiet and felt safe. I was traveling by myself, and felt comfortable in this area.
Raymond W.
Clean and quiet. Very friendly staff
Great location.
Great location.
Michelle
Clean. Good air. Prices in main lobby for drinks and snacks were quite high so bring your own. Lines to check on and out were long... there was an event going on nearby but they should have added more than one staff member at front desk. Breakfast was horrible... all of it. Overall, ok place.
Anne-Marie
breakfast was great, parking was great - room was clean - Texas road house across the street was good
Raymond
No bathroom door
Lawrence
Nice large bathroom with walk-in shower and decent amenities and plenty of countertop space with an extra ledge behind and above the sink, strange door to bathroom you can either close the bathroom or close the closet, but not both since it’s the same one sliding door, desk had easy to access electrical outlet and USB recharging ports, alarm clock had shadow casting digits and no way to set the correct the time.
Lisa
Overall, nice stay. The breakfast was not the best, disappointed. Oatmeal cold, and boiled eggs looked as if rolled around in someone's floorboard.
Michelle
We had a wonderful stay at this Hampton Inn. We forgot a few things after we left so having the option to have those items shipped to us, is a great service. Thank you for the honesty of the staff! The beds were very comfortable as well. We will be back
Lesa
We checked in 2 hours after check-in time and the room I was assigned was either being used or had not been cleaned when I walked in. I had to go back and get another room. My travel companions found a pair of jeans left in their room. There was a barking dog on the floor nearby. Overall, everything looked sub par in cleanliness. The hotel room tv did not have an ABC channel. Overall, average to poor condition for a Hampton Inn.
Barton
I thought overall the property inside and out was good. The tile floor in our bath and entrance area should have been damp mopped and cleaned more thoroughly. I could tell there was dirt in the grooves of the tile. Maybe I am just too particular, but for sanitation it should have appeared cleaner.
Steve
Front desk employees complaining loudly about other workers, not something you want to hear while eating breakfast. Sunday October 27 2024, 7 am.
Francis
Excellent breakfast. Dog friendly. Clean and convenient
Christopher
Night checker was friendly. Breakfast was great.
Trisha
Although it looked clean we did find a roach in our room, along with dirty rags that were missed by the cleaning staff. The staff were nice, but no one did anything about the roach we had found.
Donna
I believe her name was Kylie, she was the desk lady!! Very nice and respectful

Nice place, when checking in the front desk gave us keys to a room that already had guests in it...
Gayle
One night stay while traveling.
Very comfortable quiet room. Great breakfast with fresh fruit salad. I would stay again. Safe location.
Kristina
Spent one night to take my son to Vincennes university the next morning for basketball camp. It suited us for the one evening. Room was nice and hotel was nice. Only complaint was a funky smell in our room. May have been from water lines not sure. Other than that stay was great and hotel staff were wonderful.
Jennifer
Very busy weekend for the hotel yet they were not prepared for the breakfast service. Only 1 employee working the breakfast service (I felt sorry for him as he was doing his best). While he was focusing on trying to replenish the coffee carafes (unsuccessfully as at least 1 type was out at all times) the buffet ran out of eggs and fruit. They needed to have 1 more employee during breakfast to make it run smoothly.
mike
Stayed the weekend for college baseball
Debra
Easy check in. Hotel was slightly dirty. Especially on the rugs

Curtis Mitchell
Property was in a nice quiet location. The staff were extremely friendly.
KD
We really enjoyed everything about our stay here. The only disappointment was no military discount for Veterans. Active duty only.
Rick
Friendly staff
Robin
So so
The room was just ok.. that free breakfast was disgusting
Nicholas
We were put in room 208 initially which had a cracked tiles. The manager was very aware of the exisiting condition and continued to book this room. My 2 year old son noticed the broken up tile first, of course. This was concerning seeing as my kids run around a lot and i can only imagine a sliced foot by the tile. The manager was very nice about switching our rooms which was appreciated. I just think precautions should be taken with situations like this. The rooms are very nice. Breakfast is very good! My only disappointment was by 9am, breakfast options were slim. No milk, no eggs. Very different from the previous day, saturday morning. I will stay here again, but maybe will wake up earlier for breakfast!

Clean, good breakfast, and friendly staff. No issues.
Dennis
Bathroom floor was not cleaned before we arrived. Called Mgr.and she cleaned it herself. Black hair over the floor. Besides that room was fine.
Jessica
Everything was amazing. Great staff, nice pool, breakfast , and rooms. No complaints. The staff were the most polite and genuine people.
