I thought the room was spacious and clean. However, the towels were TINY (hand-towel sized and only 2 in the room, and there is only housekeeping every three days so your room stays messy and the tiny towels stay damp because there's nowhere to really dry them - and there were no notices to tell you that is the case so I was quite surprised to find it out (no notices anywhere about their \"green\" policies - although I'm not sure simply refusing to provide housekeeping is a Green policy!) I also didn't like that they seem to have disabled their Front Desk phones so that the only way to ask for anything or get help is to physically walk over to the front lobby - and I was situated at the rather far point away from that with a broken foot so it was chore to go and ask for additional pillows (had to actually drive over there, it was so far away). When I asked why no one ever answered the Front Desk phone I was told that they were \"broken\" - but they seemed to ring just fine as I was leaving the lobby...

Room was okay. Nothing fancy but I wasn't expecting fancy. Carpet was dirty and there were cobwebs on the wall. Blanket was stained. Checkin staff was nice but my room keys didn't work and when I went to get help, she was gone. I sat in the lobby for about 15 minutes before she came back and I could get the keys fixed to get into my room. Lots of construction going on so obviously the appearance of the building on the outside was subpar, but understandable.

Initially waited at front desk 25 minutes until someone arrived to check me in. Room was dirty, linens had a layer of dust on them and many were frayed. Floor had so much dust on it you left foot prints. Either the room lay dormant for a while and it wasn't refreshed or the cleaning staff should be fired. There are NO ice machines in the entire building. Breakfast was meager and limited with the only options waffles, toast packaged hard boiled eggs, 2 sugar coated cereals and instant oatmeal. TV worked, wifi was ok.

I was very disappointed with my stay. My room wasn't cleaned for three days, and I eventually had to request service. When housekeeping finally came, they left my door notably open and unlatched. As an international traveler with my passport and belongings inside, this was a massive violation of my safety. To make matters worse, the 'fresh' sheets were visibly dirty. I hope management takes these security and hygiene lapses seriously.

The remodeled rooms and lobby are beautiful. We had a pleasant stay despite a couple of hiccups in service:
When we checked in there were two dirty towels behind the bathroom door.
Upon check-in we we told the breakfast went on until 11am on Sunday morning, however arriving at breakfast around 10::30 in the morning we were told the evening host told us the wrong information.

This property is on the verge of being resurrected. However, has a long way to go. The first room they put us in had a foul odor and was pretty beat up with stains on carpet and furniture. The furniture and walls looked as if someone tried clawing their way out. Our door quit working on our second day which led to our belongings being held hostage in a room we couldn't gain access too for a few hours. We were then moved to another room, which happened to be brand new and remodeled without the stench and claw marks. The breakfast, while edible, was very underwhelming. Your choices of frosted flakes or fruitloops. White toast and a waffle maker without plates to put it on. On a positive note the water pressure in the shower was phenomenal with water as hot as you could stand. Every staff member we came in contact with was nice and tried to be helpful. Probably will not opt to stay here anytime in near future.

Started off the stay by having no one at the front desk and I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to check me into my room. Than I go into my room and it has a strong odor. The air conditioner was barely working. Than the continental breakfast the following morning was very basic they only offered Belgian waffles which were very good and coffee. There was no other options for drinks and when I asked for water I was told they had a drinking fountain down the hall. Unless you are desperate I would avoid this hotel.

This is a janky motel. The room was dirty. Pubes on the toilet seat, bugs in the bath tub. Beds were uncomfortable. They took out more than $100 for their refundable security deposit. Took over 5 daus to get back. My daughter spilled orange soda on the ground and we wiped it out with a towel. As soon as i get to the office to checkout, the office manager is standing there with said towel threatening to charge us if a \"stain\" doesnt come out. Very rude staff. Would not stay here again.

Started by waiting over 20 minutes at the front desk to check-in, no staff in sight. Called the phone number several times, could hear the phone ringing from where I was waiting, no one to answer it. When the staff finally came to the desk, she Printed me out a page to sign off on policies and the center of the page, front top to bottom, was completely blank. Clearly a printer issue, but why should I sign something agreeing to policies that I can’t read bc they aren’t printed? Finally made my way to my assigned room, to find the door was partially open, entered the room and it was very apparent that someone had been in the bed as the sheets and blanket were partially pulled down. Returned to the front desk and reported findings to the worker. She repeatedly told me that it was fine, that sometimes the housekeepers don’t pull the door closed all the way when they leave the room, paying no mind to what I was saying about the bed. I asked if I could be moved to another room due to the bed clearly having been used since the room was cleaned. She told me that was not necessary and again stated that the housekeeper just didn’t pull the door shut after cleaning the room. Perhaps that is the case but that does not negate the fact that someone had clearly been in the room and used the bed. She still don’t seem to understand. A construction crew ran an extremely loud air compressor directly outside our room starting early in the morning. When we complained to the front desk they did nothing. The wifi password didn't work, the tub had no plug, and the hair dryer didnt work. The continental breakfast was a loaf of wonderbread and fruit loops. Bed was uncomfortable with lumpy pillows. Room seemed clean and looked nice inside though.

There was an unwrapped dirty coffee cup under the wrapped coffee cups. After I checked put a man who I’m guessing was about to clean the room I was in (108) cane towards me asking if I was in 108. I said yes. Couldn’t really understand what else I was saying very well. He had my grand daughter’s IPad that I forgot in our room. Very thankful he found it and caught us. I greatly appreciate his honestly and bringing it to me. Not everyone is honest.

Not well maintained. Everyone is on the ground floor. Second floor looks like it is under renovation, but it appears it was stopped mid project. Door to the room did not have a sweep, so there is a noticeable gap under the door to let dirt in when the wind blows. Breakfast is minimal; cereal and a waffle maker.

If you only need an inexpensive place to sleep, it would be ok at best.

The property is under construction and nothing tells you that. I reserved the room on a third party app so I didn’t get any more information about the property.
Paid for a king bed and was told they didn’t have any more, then the air conditioning didn’t work in the double queen and then upon switching from that room, a king bed miraculously became available!
And the last big surprise, there is a $100 deposit, cash or card for the room! Don’t have to worry about me staying there again and they only got two stars because of the pleasant day shift people.

I've used this exact Super 8 multiple times and never had an issue. HOWEVER, this time there were bugs in the bed. When i went to the front desk, they said they sent someone to check my room and didn't see any bugs (Although only 3 minutes passed between when i complained and when \"someone checked the room\"). I was not allowed to see or speak to a manager or housekeeping. They told me i was crazy and not entitled to a refund.

The room was clean and well put together. There were no vents in the bathrooms for the steam from the showers so the dampness just stayed in the room, making the beds and blankets damp no matter what time of day it was. The continental breakfast that was advertised was terrible. They only had milk and cold coffee to drink. No juice of any kind so my son with dairy allergies had nothing to drink. Breakfast consisted of 2 different kinds of cereal, overripe bananas, some yogurts, and watered down waffle mix. But half the time we were there, the waffle machines didn’t work so you couldn’t even make waffles. We ended up just spending money going out to eat for breakfast every morning. The hotel is in the middle of a renovation so o am uncertain if after the reno’s are complete, things will get better.

The hotel has a requirement of a $100 deposit charge for obtaining your room. This charge is said to be removed from your card several days after departure. However, one must check to be sure that the $100 charge has been refunded. Our stay was fine, but because of the unusual charge, I'd pick a different hotel.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I have EVER stayed in. My daughter had a medical appointment early morning so we spent the night before. Dry urine on the toilet, sneaker footprint on the tub, wad of hair on shower wall, dead bugs, crud and dog hair in corner and I killed a bug in that corner. But, staff was polite.

This property should be condemned. Construction everywhere, balconies falling. Dirty unclean rooms with crumbs in the floor. Asked for non smoking and the room smelt like cigarette smelt. the room was clean, heat and ac worked. everything was fine for the price point. the only thing that was not so great was breakfast. there were not many options. the only fruit they had was packaged fruit cups. yogurt that wasn't refrigerated, just sitting on the counter. no eggs or toast or anything. just waffles and cereal. and the lady that was in the background was rude to my daughter. she couldn't figure out how to flip the waffle maker and it was beeping and the lady came out and was rude about it.

Good enough stay for a weekend.

Stayed here for a family weekend trip. The family was visiting Knobels Amusement park. The Super 8 is a convenient location to go Knobels and be near restaurants and other attractions in the general area.
The motel property is undergoing an extensive renovation. As such many of the outdoor areas are under construction. Interior spaces are largely already renovated.
Having said that our actual room was neat, clean and comfortable. Everything worked properly. Super 8 included an simple breakfast with limited offerings (coffee, juice, cereal, toast, make your own waffles). The staff were universally friendly and helpful as needed.
This property is right next to Interstate 80 so you can hear some road noise but this was not a problem inside of our room.
