The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The only thing that was bad IMO was the carpets. In the hall there was a smell of maybe pets, I have no problem with pets being there but carpet should be cleaned more often. I also saw several pieces of broken plastic on hall floor. Could be hurtful!

Don’t do it. The staff was somewhat nice but the cleanliness was terrible. I was so tired I fell asleep when I came in. I hadn’t even been in the bathroom. I found a towel that was left under the vanity from another guest when I finally went in. I didn’t think I had to check the room before I laid down. I only hope they did change the sheets. Picture in comments of a towel that I did not use (if this gives the opportunity to upload). I am an animal lover, but the hallway smelled terrible like the carpet needed to be cleaned. I can only assume my hallway is where dogs were allowed. If there is any other room in Danville, don’t stay here!

Was staying in town for a basketball tournament. When arriving to the hotel the lobby and breakfast area was clean and smelled fresh. The front desk staff were very nice. We stayed in room 114 as soon as we got to the room and opened the door, the smell of mildew and fish blasted us in the face. It also looks like the room was not completely finished. One side of the bed was still untucked, there was toilet paper in the bathroom trashcan. There was also a room list with two keys left on the bathroom counter, by I’m presuming the housekeeper. The bathroom door the bottom part was also pulled from the hinges with exposed nails. Thank goodness, my youngest daughter is old enough to know not to go near it, but is definitely a danger hazard with them poking out. Another parent, I spoke to said her room smelled like smoke and there was no hot water. Luckily my oldest daughter had to room with a teammate and she said their room was fine, but it was also on the second floor as opposed to mine and the other parent was on the first floor.

This had to be the worst place I have ever booked at. We ended up not staying the night; we were very uncomfortable and overwhelmed by the smells and uncleanliness of the room. Walked in with a worker having her shoes off walking around and smelled like weed in the lobby. Walked in and walked out checked out and nobody cared to ask why??

The bed was great. That’s the only good thing to say. There was a large hole in the bathroom door, the phone didn’t work, the hair dryer didn’t work, and there was very little hot water. I had to wait until 8 am to shower and even then it was barely warm. One person in our party had a mouse in her room. Staff were nice but unconcerned for the problems. It’s not their fault. It’s managements fault.

The woman who checked me in was not very friendly. The gentleman who took over later was very nice and I enjoyed talking with him. Apparently, there is not an elevator in the hotel. I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. I am able bodied and could do that, but not everyone can. My room was not ready even though I checked in 10 minutes after check in started. The toilet was not properly bolted to the floor. It rocked when you sat on it. The shower was lukewarm at best.

Curtain valances were pulled out of the ceiling and hanging broken along with burn holes in curtains which were also visibly dirty. Bathroom doorknob was broken and wouldn’t lock. Security flap on door frame was broken off. Wall lamp closest to bathroom is broken and hanging on the wall. I’m guessing we were right next to the laundry room as a loud machine started up around 8am, prior to that dull hammering-like noises could be heard early.

We travel to Danville at least 2 times at year. And sadly we had to stay at this hotel. (It is \"cheaper\" than the ones in the surrounding area). At the beginning was not so bad, but after 2 years we are done with this hotel:
1. Front desk are careless about their guests. They had never provided a cleaning service in our room (3 or 4 days stay). Even when we asked them personally every single day and they kept saying that they will.
2. There is no baby chair in the dining room.
3. The room had stinkbugs everyhere on the walls.
4. Bathroom's faucet are tiny, not giving space to wash hands. The hairdryer never works; it seems to be there only for decoration.
5. Breakfast was repetitive.
The only things we liked were the shower, the bed with pillows and the BIG TV.

The room had numerous maintenance issues, all reported to the front desk when we checked out. The tub faucet dripped hard, almost all electrical outlets need to be replaced, they will not firmly hold a plug, the corner pole lamp was inoperative, there were no anti-slip strips in the tub. I had the impression that if I went back to the same room today I would find the same problems exist. Also, the male clerk who checked us in was clueless about location of restaurants, gave wrong directions to Wal-Mart, etc. It was like he just moved to the area. I think he should have spent more time getting familiar with things the visitors might need to know and less time on his cell phone playing games.
Also, the hotel had no elevator. This should be listed on the hotel description. Luckily for us a room on the first floor was available. We have medical issues which would have made a second floor room impossible to access.

James at the front desk provided exceptional customer service. However, many basic amenities one expects from a hotel stay were unavailable, such as shampoo, additional towels, and even eating utensils at breakfast. I'm not sure why they were short on so many items, but someone should have bought the basic amenities for guests to use until their supplies arrived. It was a busy weekend in Danville, so it seemed like poor planning on management's part not to have inventoried what they had and what they needed.
Our room was clean, but many of their furnishings, especially in the lobby and dining area, were well-worn and needed replacing.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been to. We were there 30 min. and left. There was a big hole in the bathroom door that was covered with duct tape, the room smelled so bad and my husband killed a bug running across the floor. The front desk lady was rude and no help. I had booked 2 rooms for a wedding that we were attending and both were disgusting! What a waste of money, so disappointing! Will probably never book through Expedia again, the pics and reviews definitely did NOT match this place. Had confirmation for a room with a king bed and another with 2 doubles since there was 6 of us staying and all they had were 2 rooms with king beds, the front desk person didn’t care that 4 people were apparently going to have to sleep in one king bed. I’m upset that I didn’t take any pictures because I definitely would have posted them.

This hotel is in very poor condition. The entire place smells musty and like smoke. In our room, the air conditioner worked but it was pulled away from the wall, to the point where you could clearly see all the way through to the outside. It also dripped lots of water. The carpet was soaking and the ice bucket that the staff had placed under it was completely full of water after one night. There was so much water, to the point where it had to be leaking through the ceiling to the room underneath. The walls in the bathroom were dirty and looked like something had splattered on them. The only positive is that the beds were clean and fairly comfortable, and the sheets were clean. We stayed because we were in town for an event and everywhere else was booked. I do not recommend this hotel.

Reserved a room through Expedia in Danville Kentucky, we're from Muncie indiana, only to arrive at the hotel to be told that there was no room available, and then neither the hotel nor Expedia got us into a room in the same city that we reserved our room in and then Expedia never even called us back. Don't deal with Quality Inn because they are in League with Expedia and don't deal with Expedia because they deal with companies like this

When they say they have you booked in a non-smoking room, what they mean is that nobody is currently smoking your room. My room smelled like someone had been smoking in it for decades and the furniture had the burn marks to prove it. Small pillows, no hand soap, no clock, one towel. The smell of the room lingered on my clothes for days after staying here.

I was appalled by the condition of this hotel. It's so bad, we had trouble relaxing and enjoying what was supposed to be a wonderful weekend getting together with my sister and her kids. We had two rooms, one upstairs and one downstair, and both were squalid. The sink in our room was clogged and backed up with some disgusting black gunk that floated to the top and deliquesced for the rest of our stay. There were burn holes in the comforter, and the carpet was matted. My sister's room smelled of strong chemicals and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling over the shower. My nephew woke up with a rash after one night in the room. We booked the hotel for Memorial Day Weekend, hoping the kids could use the pool and the adults could enjoy sitting outside, but the pool was drained and because they didn't have a cover on it, the entire pool area was blocked off, so we couldn't even sit outside. The exterior exit on the first floor by my sister's room wouldn't latch or even close completely, so it was completely unsecured all night. Anyone not staying at the hotel could have walked in off the street and come right in. This hotel is in complete disrepair. It's dirty, rundown, and unsafe.

An updated older hotel. Overall pleasant and worth the price we paid, but not more than that. Had to change rooms due to smell of smoking in the room. The heater in my room was broken. It blew cold air all night. When I had had enough and went to leave at 5:00 in the morning, I couldn't find anyone to speak to about this. There was a basket on the desk and instructions to leave your key cards there. There was also no breakfast available due to broken equipment.
