Horrible. I wasnt allowed to check into the hotel because the front desk said they do not accept hotels.com as a form of payment. Ive asked for a refund and still havnet received anything. Ive used this app for my hotel stays for years and have never been treated this horrible. This was the worst experience ive ever has in this situation

Daniel is fake news, he promised me to book through travel lodge since he could not change name through Hotels.com. I went ahead and rebooked with ease. Following morning, he tried to charge $150 to my debit card because apparently there was someone else in the room. Be very careful with Daniel and I would consider taking business elsewhere.

Not my kinda place …

Even though the sign on office door said OPEN you have to stand out in the cold and try to communicate through a little glass window (I checked in at 4:30 pm not a late or after hours check in. Bedding was very thin, TV channels extremely poor and tv was held into place by a toilet paper roll!? Bathroom walls are dirty with holes in the wall, there were men outside carrying on after quiet hours but Management did nothing in regards to their noise or behavior. Not a pleasant stay and I won’t book there again.

Do not stay here! Very disappointing! I wasnt aware of the $150 holding fee especially for a place that is run down. You can tell people live in the place because they all hang outside drinking beer being loud. Walls are thin and can hear everything. Room smelled and some updates are definitely needed. Beware of hoe Expedia and this hotel works. Expedia will not warn you directly and they will allow you to pay without saying that the hotel will refuse your stay if you arrive late. We can’t control traffic and other issues. We could not arrive before midnight and nobody was going to give us our room. What a scam!!!

I booked the hotel and called the front desk, he said it was okay to check in late. I said great! Me and my fiancé drive 4 hours and arrive only for the man to tell us we can no longer check in and we cannot stay there. Our reservation was no longer valid which has never happened to me before. Very disappointed and upset about it. We did not get to enjoy our stay and were FORCED to pay double and book with another hotel. I would like to have a full refund of $93.05.

Room key wasn’t working when I got back to the room after hours rang the doorbell then knocked manager got mad for waking him up refused to give me a new key or open the door to the room so I can get my luggage out had to call local authorities in order to get my belongings and didn’t even stayed because they kicked me off the property a police officer tried to help and get a new key but the manager said to go away and call his boss never again will I book there or any of my employees

Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The owner is so cheap he won't even give you an extra key card. The bed sheets are so cheap and rough I scraped my elbow on them while sleeping and started bleeding like I had fell on the sidewalk. You can see roughly patched walls in the rooms and other badly done work. They won't let you check in even 5min early.

I called day b4 reservation to confirm, everything fine. I drove 75 miles to hotel to arrive to a cancelled reservation!!! The clerk said my cc did not go thru so they called n left a message it was cancelled. They had called 20 min prior when I was driving in mountains no cell service no phone ring. Explained to clerk that I nvm left cc number. He was not apologetic n was rude. There were no rooms left! In 20 min they had rented room in the small town? Awful

Worse experience EVER!

The Travelodge in Los Banos was absolutely horrible. If I could give ZERO stars, I would! I believe we were racially profiled as black and brown folks and further sterotyped because we were traveling as a large group.We were in town for a family reunion and finished reunion activities around 10:30pm and went to the hotel to finally check in and relax. At the time when we arrived Daniel was the front desk employee who provided my wife and I with the very worse customer service I have personally ever experienced. Daniel could not locate our reservation and informed us that because we booked with Hotel.com, a 3rd party company he could not verify our reservation and that we were basically out of luck because they were all sold out of rooms for the night. He did not seem to want our business, even after we offered to take any room and pay the regular price. we learned that our reservation had been canceled a few hours earlier yet we were not informed by either Travelodge or Hotel.com. We sat with our family to figure out what to do
meanwhile Daniel called and advised my Sister-in-law that we were not to be there and that if we didn't leave he would both call the cops AND charge them $150 for us being there. He called one more time before ultimately calling the police for us being there for 30 minutes. We will NEVER stay at the Travelodge in Los Banos ever again, and will opt to share our experience with everyone we know. Beware and stay clear of this place.

-> They had pool advertised, it was empty & needs re-plastering, owner said they had no plans to re-plaster this year.
-> Two soda machines out of order, seems for some time as signs were weathered.
-> A small waterfall in courtyard with fake frogs, bone dry.
-> King Size room, needs another lamp over the desk area.
-> window in bath was not dual pane, one in main room was.
-> Looks like a 3/4 assed job on a renovation.

I was so SAD to drive up to see an EMPTY POOL!

We have had good luck with Travelodge by Wyndham Hotels, but were very disappointed by this location. The bedspread, and the chair seats (fabric) were all dirty; I could take off the bedspread, but I didn’t feel like I could sit in the chairs. The floors were also dirty. If you decide to stay here, I would recommend bringing slippers or you will be climbing into bed with dirty feet! Also, in the King Standard room you will receive two bath-size towels, although they will be a lot smaller and thinner than what you are used to at home (see picture of the bath size towels). On a positive note, the flat-screen TV was nice, and the air conditioner kept the room nice and cool, even in hot weather. We were on the bottom floor and could hear our upstairs neighbors going back and forth across the room after we went to bed, but once they went to bed, all was quiet. We did not hear any traffic or other noise. WiFi wasn’t fast, but kept the connection. Also, be prepared: the vending machines shown in the pictures above are out-of-order, so bring your own snacks!

Bathtub was dirty. Vending machines were out of order. Bedsheets smelled dusty. Room was hot even thought it wasn’t hot outside. The air conditioner was just a wall unit and didn’t seem to cool the room much even with leaving it on full blast for 10 hours. Other than that everything else was decent.

Hotel is RACIST!!! Do not book!!

The Manager is a major Racist? We tried to go inside but when we walked in with primarily black kids, he told us we cannot have 4 people per room. Even though the corporate website by Wyndham says they can have four in a room for free. The guy called the police, locked the door and kicked our team out. Not one of our kids raised their voice, talked back, nor our coaches. Please do not book this hotel. They are stuck in the 1900s.

The hotel staff in the front desk just terrible. He told me bcs I write a comment and complain about the bed shift that was no changed. I check out Sunday morning. And bcs my job required to me to stay couple more days. So I booked again after I live the hotel, and come back at night time with a new recervation. They give same room and noted that my bed had the same bed sheets that it had In the morning with stain on it. So I did the survey that u guys required and one of my comments was that the bed Was not clean. So the person from the front desk call my husband and ask about why we complaint about it. So today when I check out he told me that because I complaint with u guys he will cancel the reservation that I already have from the next couple days. Also he told me that I hv to leave from there when I ask why he is refusing me a service. So again he told me that he is doing it bcs I did complaint with Expedia.

I I pulled up to find the pool was emty and out of order and by the looks of it - it is not ever going to work again and is now a storage area and both vending machine outside were out of order. I walked in to the small office that doubled as the breakfast area that would seat maybe 4 or 5 people comfortably. We parked and went up to our room and one of the people that worked there came outside and sat and stared at us the entire time we unpacked and went to our room which was uncomfortable to say the least. once to the room we found the room next to us had a big gap where the wall mounted a/c went through the wall and they just shoved a piece of board in the hole to fill the gap. Then once we opened the door we found stains on the bedding and bugs all over that probably found there way in from the gap in the door frame. We literally just carried everything back to the car and checked back out. They wouldn't let me cancel the room and never even asked why we were leaving and charged me for a room anyway.] We were there for maybe 15 minutes total.

We checked in after a long drive. At check in we realized the pool was empty, amd the vending machines were not working, so my husband had to drive to a 7Eleven to get water. The room is ok if all you want is a place to sleep, but... the bathroom window was open and had NO way to lock. Light took more than 30 minutes to turn on in the bathroom. Wifi was a problem. Not a secure connection. Not sure if there was breakfast. We left ASAP. Will not be back. Pay the extra $30-$40 and stay somewhere else

Centrally located is about the only good thing to say. The room was not cleaned daily, the thin towels were changed and the beds just had the bankets and spread pulled up, the garbage was emptied. No vacuuming or general tidying.
