Very nice and modern hotel. Amazing location. A block away from the beach. The staff was very nice and courteous. Loved everything about the hotel but I would not come back to Nha Trang again. Not my thing with the tourist. Doesn’t feel like Vietnam and the culture. But this has nothing to do with the hotel

Rooms are ok. Wifi is terrible in the rooms, so not great if you want to work etc.

Paper thin walls, can hear everyone come in and out in the hall way, hear people in the other room and when somebody uses the shower there is a very loud water pump working.

Beach is just across the road which is good

Overall is ok for the money.

Great hotel near the beach and beach bars with many good restaurants nearby. Hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful. Only problem is the shower water running into the toilet area, drains do not drain fast enough and water runs into bathroom toilet area. This is not a big deal though if you have stayed in Vietnam before as it can be much worse. Not a deal breaker. Clean hotel at the right price close to the beach and starbucks is a great thing. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again for sure.

Last February, I stayed 1 night here which made me come back this time. Hotel condition changed so quickly in less than 4 months.
When we enter the reception, the place was dark that we thought it was closed. No lights and AC. I booked for 3 rooms which they said they upgraded our rooms - thank you.
BREAKFAST:
1. COCKROACH was crawling on the bread!!! Yes, that’s correct, COCKROACH. At first, they did not believe in me so they looked for it and waited UNTIL IT CAME AGAIN. The cook even killed it by her hand!
2. PORK SPARERIBS had HUMAN HAIR!
3. Breakfast choices was not good at all compared to 4 months ago.
In spite of this, I remained calm not to alarm other guests. I even tried to continue my breakfast but only ordered egg that was cook in front of me, hot fried rice, boiling noodle soup, and coffee.
To Alana Management, sorry about this review to be posted online. I also rely on reviews when I book for hotels as I always travel. For sure, I WILL NEVER COME BACK.

We love the large and pretty nice Lobby area with friendly and helpful staffed. Our room is located on 4th floor facing the the Main Street with large open view glass windows. Hotel is located only around 400 yards from the beautiful beach. Excellent location for shopping, having breakfast or dining.

The reception staff were adorable and super helpful. The hotel was immaculate, the room, public areas and pool were spotless. The rooftop bar was such a great perk and even in the rain we enjoyed swimming in to pool overlooking Nha Trang beach and city. Overall an excellent experience!

Hotel is in a great location. The ocean view rooms are worth the extra cost. It is unfortunate that another hotel has been built infront however it is out of their control and the pool still has great views of the beach and city. We had a great stay. Great touch is also the use of the sun beds on the beach infront. Hotels airport transfer is also very reasonably priced compared to what we have seen elsewhere

Reception and front office staff were so courteous. Always met with a smile and greeting from Lock. Good location and close to the beach. There are many many massage places but if you want an unforgettable experience go to the “blind massage “ place a block from the hotel. We have had massages from all over the world and this place ranks above all - especially the full body massage. And the bonus is it is at least half the cost of every where else. Give them a big “tip” as they really deserve it! Enjoy !

Very conveniently located close to the beach just at the Sailing Club.
Many markets and shops nearby. The hotel has a roof top pool and bar. The wellness centre has one of the largest spa pools I have ever seen.
Buffet food was good and varied. There are many restaurants to explore nearby. Room clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were attentive and helpful and mostly fluent in English.
I enjoyed the experience of staying there and would happily go back.

Airport pick up service is available at reasonable price, driver punctual on time. new Vincom plaza building next to hotel under construction, can be noisy now at daytime, but easily negligible with ear plugs. would be convenient when the mall is ready. Beach towel and sunbed voucher provided without extra charge, but need to collect from reception. Sunbed doesn't own by hotel, thus without the voucher from reception, you can't use the sunbed. Overall, a good beach hotel.

Great hotel near the beach, Sailing club and numerous restaurants (including the Louisiana Brewhouse). Friendly staff, great breakfast and free 60 minute massage for 2 included in the price, which was superb. The pool on the top floor was lovely, but unfortunately the view of the beach/sea had been mostly blocked by a new taller hotel, however this is not the Alana's fault.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed

Too much I have to say about this hotel.

Room: next to a filthy construction site, ocean view is gone so don't believe in the photos the hotel provides. It's next to a bar so basically you need the ear plugs provided by the hotel for a better night sleep. The toilet is such an interesting piece of art tho, whenever you shower, the water literally just leaks out all over the floor, no shower curtains means you will become a housekeeper to dry off the mess you made after the shower. Such a joke!

Service: No one ever cleans up the room unless you call the reception. I have never experienced a hotel with no one cleaning up the room after I return in the evening. Literally everyday I need to call the reception before I go.

Taxi service: Just forget it. They sent me an email deliberately asking whether I need a taxi to and from the airport. At first I really appreciated because it was my first visit to Nha Trang, but then they asked me to fill out a pdf file and asked for an image of both sides of my credit card. I said I wouldn't provide it because it is not secured and I don't know how they're gonna handle it. I suggested to pay via PayPal but they refused saying it is their policy to take the photo of my credit card. Go take a cap instead from the airport, it only costs VND 250k but the hotel charges you over VND 300k.

Day tour provided by the hotel: Such a rip-off. It say the tour ends at 4:30pm but we came back at 2:10pm and the guide kept saying we need to hurry.

The construction noise wasn't too bad and the views from room 1940 were lovely.
However the best thing about this hotel was the staff.
The counter staff are really good with restaurant recommendations, but their driver \"Tung\" was just amazing.
To our surprise the Hotel car is not only cheaper than a standard taxi ride, but their driver Tung is so much better and more courteous than local taxi drivers.
Would definitelt stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff ruined by noise

We stayed here for a week and can't complain about the staff or facilites offered by the hotel. We would not stay here again due to the thumping music from the rooftop bar across the road which was playing every night. The staff did move us to a room slightly further away from the rooftop bar but we had to give up our view to a building under construction and we could still here the music playing every night until 2:00 am.

When we checked out we were told one towel was missing, this hotel is using very old towels and some even have holes in it, we’ve been traveling around the world and stay in many hotels and this is the first time we were accused of stealing towel. Language (unless you are Russian) in Nha Trang is a big issue as most people don't speak good enough English to understand the most basic things ; that's not the case at the Alana the front office staff are mega helpful and very very knowledgeable.
The two girls and the boy who were on shift on Sat Nov 25th AM have spent over 20' on the phones to VIETJET ( never ever fly with them If you want a peaceful holiday. They always delay flights or bump you on to the next at very short notice). They have helped us so much.
The hotel is in the best location you can get and very international clientele.

Slept well despite the noises. Food for breakfast good buy not amazing. If you go to the rooftop area you will soon find lots of dust on your body and in your beer. Hotel very pretty and value for money. Close to the beach. We like Nha Trang least out of 4 places we visited in Vietnam as it's very commercial. Beautiful beach. The only fault is the shower. Although it was great, the water leaks out and covers the whole bathroom floor. Thought this was only our room but it was also a problem in our friends room.

Hotel is very well located close to beach, and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, spas, and areas of interest.
For those with kids, there are large water inflatables just down from the hotel at the beach. The hotel provides vouchers for use of beach sun lounges for a free 3 hour period.
Front of house/reception/management and upstairs pool staff are exceptional and extremely keen to ensure their guest(s) stay is enjoyable. Loc was a lovely staff member who spent time talking to and assisting our family. Buffet breakfast and manner of staff in area could see improvement.
The hotel is experiencing some surrounding building works however we did not find this affected our visit in general. Whilst up at the pool you can see and hear it but it didn't ruin our time or enjoyment.

The good, this hotel is newish, clean and affordable. There are plenty of small stores and places to eat around the area. Staff was nice and I had no major issues directly with the hotel. The bad, beware of a Bar which is nearby. It is a annoyingly loud bar and the sounds echo between all the buildings right into your hotel room. The breakfast buffet here is not good. The food tastes old / not fresh. Bad quality. Also their fresh coffee is horrible. The free instant coffee packets served in the rooms are better.

Other facts, The ocean views are severely limited now due to a new hotel. And this includes the view from the top floor pool. There is just a tiny amount of ocean view from anywhere in the building. Construction is slowed at night to limit noise, but during the day it's loud. Short walk to the beach but the road to get there is very busy and not easy to cross. The elevators, there are 3, one you need your key card the other you don't. The last one is for staff. The elevators don't make any sound when they arrive so you have to pay attention or you'll miss it. Overall I might stay again but would probably try another hotel first after dealing with that why not bar the first night till 4am. I'm not sure I suggest the hotel but it's definitely not a bad place. PS the motorbike rental place across the street charges per named day. If you pick up the bike late Monday and drop it off early Wednesday that counts as 3 days.

Really nice hotel, good location, but hotel staff were awful when it came to checking out, they demanded I found the two hotel room keys that they gave us, which we couldn't find, despite them being disposable plastic cards they they have hundreds of and they wanted us to pay for them and they had me on my hands and knees going through my suitcase in order to find it, it was so embarassing and distressing but they didn't have a problem with it, it was all very strange as never have I been asked for a disposable room key back.

Great location, pretty much opposite Nha trang beach. Hotel and rooms are clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. You can borrow towels for the beach and as part of staying at Alana you get free time on the sun loungers on Nha trang.
Relatively small but lovely rooftop pool with a great rooftop bar you can sit out & enjoy views of the beach.
Buffet breakfast , and bottled water put in rooms daily. We had a great stay here.

I chose this hotel to finish of a trip touring Vietnam by motorbike. As it was a long trip I'd thought I'd treat myself to a sea view. However a new hotel is being constructed between the hotel and the sea. To add to this the construction was continuous apart from 2 hours (02:00- 04:00) at night. I think the manageress was used to complaints and while sympathetic had no alternative room to offer me or indeed nothing to compensate for the inconvenience (apart from ear plugs). So avoid if you want a peaceful holiday.

Things would have been better, except for the construction going on right outside our window. The problem wasn't that a new building can't be constructed, the problem was they worked on this construction till middle of the night on our first night and right through the night, pouring concrete onto 1 of the levels the 2nd night. Hence zero sleep, with all the banging and crashing. The biggest issue is we booked in and paid and at no time did any staff bother to inform us that the work would go on till late, let alone all night. We came for a holiday and construction is fine, but get your staff to inform their paying guests of the unregulated hours. Customer service on this basis, poor.

Most likely the best 4 star hotel in nha trang... I stay in the area a lot due to my work assignment... Alana is the only \"local\" hotel that I would happily recommend beside one other! Great brown bread at breakfast, good rooms, construction noise just as anywhere in the city! Front desk staff are great especially mr vinh! Other departments have to improve a bit! Please take the cold cuts and cheeses out of this display box at breakfast, it's frustrating to wait to grab a slice of salami for the 7 people in front of you finishing their omelette order!

A nice hotel, just have to bear the construction

It was an amazing stay . Quick Check In and Quick Check Out. Breakfast was good.They also provided earplugs for the noise of the construction site that is beside the hotel.

This construction goes on almost 24/7 so be mentally prepared for some noise and if it does get too noisy, plug in those earplugs ;)

Construction Beware

I was so disappointed with our stay here- was hopeing for a relaxing experience however there is 24/7 construction next door which is horrible!! The noise At night was a joke- after talking to the staff they moved us from the 11th floor to the 19th but it was still noisy especially at 3am... The staff had no idea what was going on and said it would finish at 7pm. After saying we were wanting to change hotels and what would the possible refund for our remaining two nights be- they rudely said you booked with Expedia so no refund- I replied with if we had been notified I could have cancelled with a full refund if notified earlier they didn't care. Was really disappointed in general. Spend your money else where

Good location near beach but building going up in front so not sure how that will affect the ocean view rooms in a few months. Construction continues during the night but not too disruptive and ear plugs were supplied in the room. Good comfortable beds and nice sheets. Not much bench space in bathroom or anywhere to put soap in shower. Excellent breakfast and staff extremely helpful throughout.

Best Hotel in the Area

Had a very lovely stay in Alana. Pleasant and cheerful staff who made you feel very welcomed, good breakfast spread (we fell in love with yoghurt here).

Definitely go for the rooms with a sea view (we stayed on the 15th floor). A note though, is that there seemed to be construction coming up - hopefully that wouldn't be built high enough to obscure Alana's sea view.

Great Views!

stayed 12 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Alana.
If budget allows, upgrade to premium room for more space.

Super Hotel

Great hotel, right by the beach and all of the facilities Nha Trang has to offer. Excellent service, nice breakfast. The gym equipment is sub-par, the pool closes too early. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Amazing views!!

Alana is a great hotel with modern facilities. The rooftop pool and bar is excellent, as is the gym and spa! The views are amazing!
As you are right in the thick of Nha trang it is quite noisy in the room of a night with partymusic playing from 10pm though to about 4am. Other than this though a great hotel with a good breakfast.

The location was great as was the view from the room. I was on the 12th floor and since it was the first hotel on the block, we had great views of the beach and surrounding area. Staff was helpful and services were quite prompt.

Certainly worth booking

Short business stay in Nha Trang. Nice hotel, super seaview from 18th floor room. Pity that they have only 2 elevators for 21 floors. Waiting...waiting.And the pool could also be kept open from earlier in morning till later at night. On top they are not very punctual. Room is very ok and reception service too. Breakfast could be a bit more developped for that standard of hotels.
