CR Hotel a nice little place to stay

Amazing place to stay for such a low price. Sure the alley it's in looks a little sketchy at first but it's totally safe and there's also some good restaurants in it and around the corner that don't charge an arm and a leg. The beach is a very short walk away (the time it takes to play one song). So many restaurants in the area it would take you a year to try them all. And the front desk ladies are all so nice, as others have commented. Always greeting you with a sincere, genuine smile even though they must see each guest a few times a day. The room itself is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The water in the showers is now hot I can report (a complaint from older reviews). So if you're on a budget and just want a clean, decent, well located room without paying an arm and a leg, this place fits the bill.

The best budget hotel in town!

We arrived earlier than check in time but the room was ready. This hotel is located in an alley just beside the big street. We were quite sceptical about the location when we arrived but after meeting the staffs we were glad with our choice. I would say that Muslim’s are rare in Nha Trang (especially women in hijabs) but the staffs here made we feel very welcomed. We would definitely choose this hotel again next time if we are coming back.

Confused at how it's rated so high

Bed is just a foamy. Bats flying at you when walking to the room at night. There is no beach until low tide (pictures are taken to make it seem like there is). Towels were old and stained. The staff is really good though

Nice and helpful staff, but be careful with rental

I enjoyed my stay here as the staff were lovely however I was left with a bitter feeling at the end due to an incident with my rental. A big word of warning about scooter hire here (and anywhere in Vietnam). I was forced (they keep your passport until check out) to pay 14million Dong ($814 AUD) replacement cost for my rental that was stolen (White Honda Wave plate: 79-N1-36094) while parked near the beach at night for a few minutes. Lesson painfully learnt, always keep an eye on your rental, otherwise only park in paid areas that give you a ticket (don't loose this).

Everything was good! We'll definitely come back.

My family stayed in 3 rooms and all was really clean and nice. Staff were pleasant and helpful, the area was save and nice - very close to the beach; different activities around, in the heart of Nha Trang's tourist center...
However, the hotel is in a small alley and has no parking place. So we had to park from quite a distance. If they would have had a garage, this hotel would have been perfect. Anyway, we all enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

My friend and I stayed here for one night during our time in Hanoi. Quick check in and friendly staff. We found the room quite dirty and there was a lot of small ants all over the room. We didn't get any blanket so the night was very cold. Big disappointment that the breakfast was served in check in lobby. Wouldn't book this again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We loved that it was a 5 mins walk to the beach, right off the main street but still offered a quiet environment since it is in a small alley. The staff was wonderful! We stayed for 7 nights and would certainly come back the next time we are in the area.

This hotel was very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The front desk was accommodating and friendly. They gave us towels to go to the beach when we arrived early. They also booked us bus tickets. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning worked well. The only issue we had was water was warm, but not hot, which was ok since the weather was quite hot and a cool shower was appreciated.

CR Hotel was perfect for the price. Walking distance to the beach and many great restaurants. The receptionists were incredibly helpful. They helped get train tickets, discounts on mud baths, helped me top up my sim card, and were very friendly in doing so. The cleaning staff does a great job. The hotel room was very clean. We did have a few ants here or there in the room but they were harmless and there were not many of them. The wifi worked sufficiently, but a bit slow in the evenings as with most places in Vietnam. I would stay here again.

Only stayed here for a night, booked one of the cheapest rooms (without windows) and found it adequate. Rainfall shower head was a nice touch and it was good to have a choice between air con and a fan. Not worth the high season price though!

Basic, but enough and very clean

We picked the hotel for its budget price and good rating from Expedia. It was only a few meters from the main road and very conveniently located where everything is in walking distance. The hotel was very small and basic, but clean and more than enough for what we paid for. Receptionists were friendly as well. There was no swimming pool or breakfast, but not only food was just around the corner, we went to Nha Trang for a beach holiday, so a pool was not necessary.

This is a great hotel and really good value. Although it's tucked away and a little hard to find, it's well worth it. It was clean, comfortable and close to many shops,good restaurants and to the beach. The staff were truly lovely, especially the receptionists, they were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Even the security guard helped with my taxi to the train station at 4.15 am. There is some building work going on next door, however this is not the fault of the hotel and it didn't really bother me. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to other travellers.

Great hotel, clean rooms and great aircon. Perfect location 5mins to beach, lots of nice restaurants right next door. Very welcoming staff that couldn't do enough for us. We booked tours & our bus through the front desk which was so easy & helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Building work next door didn't affect us, in fact it helped us get up and go explore.

Nice and cheap hotel, close to the beach.

This was my second stay here and you get a good level of comfort for the price that you pay. The ladies at reception are very nice people and trustworthy. When you leave your money, passport, etc. with them for safekeeping, they give you an itemised receipt. There is construction work in the building next door that starts at 7 am and finishes at 5 pm which is annoying. This is scheduled to be completed by end of Sept.

Big room with no frills in a prime location

CR was initially hard to find because it is in between 2 alleys on a back street from the main road. But after getting there, everything was good! The room was large and fairly clean. Nothing fancy but does the job. The beach is 2 streets away and there is a lot to eat and do all within arms reach. Very good location. The staff are friendly and are doing their best to learn English which we appreciated and they helped us organize a bus for our next destination. Thank you for the great stay!

CR hotel suited us during our stay in Nha Trang. The reception staff were so lovely and helpful, and weren't pushy with tours. The room was good value with a clean bathroom and comfy bed.
CR hotel was a bit hard to find as it's off a side street, but otherwise good value for money.

Tucked away and safe.

If you insist on staying near the tourist areas and all the that goes along with it. This place is a treat. I opted for the better room more and it was well worth it. Nice balcony that looked over a small quiet alley, comfortable bed, mind you not a 5 star bed but actually quite nice. Everything is just out the door. The small restaurants on the corner are very good and the locals in this small alley are genuinely nice.

My only issue is what happens late at night on the main drag. Keep your hands on your pockets and don't get sloppy drunk. I never felt physically in danger but my money did.

Got to try the fish burritos (only Mexican stand) on the street just to the west of this place. KT restaurant next to the hotel is rather good and you can even order whole roasted frog. Yum?

We stayed here 3 nights (extended an extra night from our original booking). The hotel was very clean and room had good facilities. The staff were so friendly - they sorted out our onwards travel and kept us updated when our pick-up arrived late. They even gave us free cake as it was the managers birthday! Overall great hotel, great service (but not too invasive). I'd stay here again.

Nice and clean hotel but there's some design set backs which make it uncomfortable to sleep during the day. Lighting inside bathroom is also not bright enough as with many of the hotels in Vietnam. Staff is friendly. Reasonably priced.

My family (2A2C) stayed here for three nights. We had a balcony room with city views. The hotel is accessed by an alley and we were on the alley side so the room was quiet. For four of us the rooms were a little cramped.
Good food found nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We spent one day on Vinpearl, for the 12&15yo it was a great place for the water slides and rides. Very clean and no traffic there so a nice break from busy streets!

No charm except the young lady at the desk

the room atmosphere was stuffing, smelt of closet. Everything was calculated \"tiny\". My double room with 2 large beds was 4 metres long and 3,50 metres wide. I wonder how 4 people can stay there.But the young lady at the desk was so kind and helpful to everybody. She deserves better.

Was told on check in that they had not received any booking email from Expedia.
I was to be moved to an inferior room to the one I had booked.
I ask told I would be refunded the difference in price. I never was though.
Turns out it was only $2 per night difference and I only like stayed for two nights so didn't bother chasing it up.

The staff were friendly, the room was a bit cramped but fine for a two night stay.
Room was spotlessly clean.
Hotel is down a small side street so was a bit quieter than being on the noisy streets nearby.
Location is very good. Close to the beach and literally hundreds of places to eat within walking distance.

I would like to rate this hotel 5 stars , not because of spas , grand Lobby , or beautiful pools , but because I was so pleasantly surprised at what this small hotel had to offer it's guests . The staff , from the manager , reception , to the upstairs restaurant were most helpful and friendly and their English skills made it very easy to feel comfortable . A thing that I found endearing , what other guests might find odd , was reception would like their guests to remove their shoes before they step into the hotel....much like you would do before you enter any home in Viet Nam . Slippers are supplied if you wish . I have stayed at many expensive beautiful hotels but I have to rate this hotel among my most favourite . We only stayed 3 nights but I wish we could have stayed longer .Value for dollar spent puts this hotel above all others in a class of it,s own. Any time I return to Nah Trang this will be my hotel of choice

Terrible experience.

It is rare that a hotel can reveal so many faults during a 1-night's stay. The hotel is located in an obscure backalley which even the locals struggle to pinpoint when asked. The room was minimally furnished with no duvet or pillow cases. The bathroom freebies were mostly left empty from the previous occupants of our room. During the middle of the night, a fire alarm was allowed to ring continuously for over 2 hours. On ringing the reception to complain that the alarm had not been tended to, the receptionist promptly hung up without apologising for the inconvenience or offering to fix the alarm. Eventually I was forced to leave my room to find a member of staff and direct them to the alarm. Having already been robbed of sleep, the air-con in our room then decided to give in resulting in a hot and sweaty remainder of our stay. The following morning the included breakfast was mysteriously cancelled. However the worst problem with this hotel was the laundry service. Our clothes were returned to us still wet, which was frustrating but turned out to be the least of our problems. All of our clothes were returned with bleach stains, effectively ruining all of them. On top of this a pair of shorts were not returned. The final issue was that to attempt to cover up their errors on a navy shirt, the laundry staff had attempted to colour in the bleach stains with a blue pen. The hotel brushed us away by saying that they would give their staff a talking to.

We arrived to our hotel from taking a night bus at about 6am tired from the trip and this hotel was great. They offered us a temporary room until our room was ready so we could shower and sleep a bit free of charge. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was great value. The morning breakfast was pretty good as well. The location of the hotel was excellent, being close to the beach and great restaurants including \"lanterns\" restaurant which is a must try.

Enjoyed my stay here. NIce room , Fan & A/C ,fridge and kettle, nice bathroom , good shower and in a great spot. Really really helpful staff, Manager couldn't do enough to help even with my onward travel plans. Hire a scooter $5 a day. Main food and bars a 3 min walk around the corner but room still nice and quiet.

My gf and I enjoyed our stay here. We had a room on floor 2 at the back, quite big and it importantly wasn't noisy (relieved after reading some other reviews on that point!). The breakfast was good. Wifi connection was ok, but speeds where slowish. Staff super friendly and nice, nothing was ever a problem to sort out. Overall, very much recommended! :)

Fantastic, spotless and clean hotel

This hotel was one of the best we have stayed in during our travels. Staff were very friendly when we arrived. Room was spotless and bright. Only a couple of niggles - room wasn't cleaned every day which I think should be essential especially when it claims it does this; there was a kettle and mugs in the room but no tea/coffee provided; we had to ask twice for toilet roll; hotels.com claims that breakfast is served from 6am-10am and it does not even have a restaurant yet therefore it DOES NOT serve breakfast. As this hotel has recently been renovated I assume these are things they are going to work on. The cleanliness more than enough made up for the niggles.

Lover this place. They have recently remodeled it so everything is new and clean. VERY friendly and nice staff. They were full for the weekend so we had to change hotels and hotel Thang Bom is way better than my current one. Cheap minibar prices and 1 block from beach, bars and restaurants will have me staying here any time I'm back in Nha Trang.

우리는 나짱에 슬리핑 버스를 타고 새벽 4시에 도착. 그 때문에 중심가와 가까운 호텔을 급히 예약했다. 호텔은 골목으로 조금 들어가야 있음. 호텔 프론트에 있던 남자가 다행이 방을 내줘서 우리는 새벽시간에 조금 쉴 수 있었다. 그 방은 우리가 예약한 큰 방은 아니었지만 새벽에 우리를 받아준 것 만으로도 고마운 일이지. 불평하지 않겠다. 빈마트와 2km 정도 떨어져 있고 비치와 신투어리스트 사무실과 가까움. 리셉션에서 펑키몽키투어를 저렴하게 예약할 수 있음. 달랏 가는 버스도 리셉션에서 예약함. 매우 친절한 서비스에 만족함.

숙소 방 종류 중에서 창문없는 작은방으로 예약했었는데 너무 답답하고 습하고.... 별로 맘에 들지않아서 돈 추가해서 창문있고 더 큰방으로 옮겼어요~ 이 숙소 묵으실거면 꼭 창문있는방 쓰시길.. 숙소 바로 주변 로컬식당도 생각보다 괜찮았습니다. 그리고 이숙소에서 제일 좋았던건 카운터분들! 너무 친절하시고 좋았습니다ㅎㅎ

좋은 위치 (주변에 많은 음식점, 마사지, 바 등), 저렴한 가격, 가격 정도의 객실 환경
단, 야간에 체크 인 시에는 호텔 근무자가 영어를 전혀 하지 못함.
야간 도착 시, 저렴한 가격에 하루 밤을 보낼만한 호텔

Удобный отель

Чистый отель, на ночь закрывается, расположен на ответвляющейся улочке. Утром в 5 метрах небольшой местный рыночек. Ежедневная уборка. Несколько маловат номер для 4 человек.

Would stay again and recommended it to my friends

The hotel is situated in a quite alley just off a bustling tourist street down town Nha Trang. Right next to it a couple of restaurants, a little fruit and vegetables market and motorbike rental are also available. The room is clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

주변 편의시설이 많이있음

비교적 해변과의 거리도 가깝고 저렴하고 좋은 골목식당들이 많이 있음. 장기 투숙할 경우 바로 앞 아파트도 고려해볼만함. 골목에 작은시장도 저렴한 가격에 이용가능함.

Accueil sympathique, chambres correctes

Les chambres sont un peu plus petites qu'elles paraissent sur les photos mais l'accueil est très cordial et le coin tranquille. Un petit restaurant juste en face est très bon et bon marché pour le quartier.
À noter aussi que l'hôtel vends des boissons au même prix qu'en supérette, très pratique !

오픈 버스 투어중 하루 들리는 곳으로는 최고입니다.

베트남 종단 중 잠시 들이는 나짱이라 여기 1박했습니다. 나짱에서 휴양하면서 오래 지내실꺼라면 돈 좀 들이더라도 다른곳 가는게 나을수 있습니다. 그런데 저처럼 잠시 들리는 것이라면 가격대비 괜찮습니다. 리셉션도 친절하고 장기 여행자라면 호텔이 세탁 맡겨도 가격 저렴합니다. 객실이 조금 작고, 작은 개미들이 나온게 흠이지만 하루 정도 스쳐가는 숙소로는 최고입니다. 특히 신투어 이용하시는 분이라면 바로 코앞입니다. 한투어는 한 10분 도보 이동해야합니다.

The Location is good

there are many of restaurants nearby the hotel. the staff were nice and helpful but one of older man cant speak English (still friendly) and the man was keep smoking while the customers arrived at the lobby. the room was clean with balcony.good for stay!

nice staff ,nice room and clean near hotel has good restaurant , you can rent Motorbike at here. hotel inside street hard to find a bit.

ถูกและสะอาด ห้องพักมีทุกอย่างครบ ใกล้โรงแรมมีร้านอาหาร ราคาถูก ถ้ามาจากแอร์พอร์ต ในประเทศ รถบัสแอร์พอร์ตผ่านหน้าโรงแรมเลย. แต่ถ้านั่งบัสมาจาก โฮจิมินซิตี้ ก็เดินไม่ไกล.. ที่โรงแรมมีมอไซค์ให้เช่าไม่แพง. หรือจะซื้อทั้วร์ดำน้ำหรืออื่นๆก็ไม่แพง บางอย่างถูกกว่าที่ขายด้านนอก. พนักงานช่วยเหลือและดูแลเป็นอย่างดี โรงแรมอยู่ในซอยอาจจะหายากนิดนึง

Høj standart til budget priser!

Vi bestilte værelse med balkon, som var rigtigt god standart i forhold prisen. Samt pænere end de billeder, som ligger på hotels.com etc.

Service, minibar priser, kommunikation m.v. var god, og lokationen er midt i den del af byen hvor tingene sker.

Dette hotel og værelse, var langt bedre end hoteller vi tidligere har betalt 3 gange så meget for i Vietnam.

나짱에서 저렴한 호텔을 찾으신다면....

고객평가 만족도가 높아서 선택했는데 역시 다수분들의
평가가 맞네요 저렴한 가격에 이만한 시설이면 뭐
만족합니다. 다만 호텔스닷컴 객실 안내에 바다 조망이
좀 더 비싸서 선택했는데 지금은 호텔 앞쪽에 다른 건물이
들어서서 바다조망이 나오지 않는데 정보가 UPDATE되지
않은것만 문제네요

친절하곳

공항가기 전에 머물러서 샤워하고, 저녁먹구 공항까지 개인영업용 차로 가는데 무척 편했습니다.
저렴한 가격에 위치는 골목안쪽이라 찾기 어려웠지만 괜찮아요. 서비스도 좋구 밤비행기로 고민했는데 만족스러웠습니다.

Nice location

The location is very nice,it's near the Nha Trang Beach.Although the hotel doesnt provide the free breakfast,there are many restaurants which provided delicious and cheap food and they're just beside the hotel.
Staffs are nice but the hotel is quite old but clean.

정말 친절한 직원!!!

하룻밤을 묵었구요.
위치는 비치랑 멀지 않고, 골목길로 쭉 들어가 있는데,
옆건물이 공사중이라 낮에는 시끄러워요.
하지만, 리셉션에 이쁜 직원?이 정말 친절했어요.
슬리핑 버스를 타고 아침 일찍 도착했는데도, 이른 체크인도 해주고,
버스도 대신 예약해주고요.
저 같은 경우는 아침에 바로 나짱보트투어를 해야 했는데,만약 방이 차서 이른 체크인을 못하더라도 화장실에 샤워시설이 있어서 샤워를 해도 된데요.
저는 체크아웃하고 픽업 땜에 기다리고 있었는데, 직원이 샤워하고 싶으면 해도 된다고 하더라구요. 호텔도 가격대비 상태 나쁘지 않았구요.
저처럼? 저렴한 호텔에 잠만 잔다면? 추천해요!!! 공사는 아침부터 저녁때까지 해서, 시끄러울수는 있지만, 저같은 경우는 호텔서 잠만 잤기 때문에, 그다지? 불편하지는 않았어요.
