The facilities are clean, but there is room for improvement in overall maintenance. Some areas feel dated, particularly the guest rooms and the small spaces outside the elevators on each floor. The concierge and reception area is grand and impressive, and it would be wonderful if this standard were reflected throughout the rest of the hotel.
What truly stands out is the exceptional service. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and consistently go above and beyond. I had several pieces of luggage that needed to be sent to Chiang Mai, and Mr. Gian and Ms. Niki assisted me graciously and efficiently. Every staff member I encountered—including the bellmen and housekeeping team—was warm, professional, and attentive.
We would definitely come back again for this five-star level of service.

I had a wonderful stay at Al Meroz. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our visit. The breakfast buffet was a highlight each morning by offering delicious, fresh, and different varieties of food every day.

The location was also perfect, with many halal eateries conveniently located around the hotel, making meals easy and enjoyable.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive to all of our needs, even assisting us with booking a reliable driver during our stay. Overall, an excellent experience and I would definitely stay here again.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to this hotel as they exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is superb, it's elegant and cozy. The staff were all accommodating and pleasant. We loved the breakfast buffet as it offers variety of food and it's very tasty. Overall, the service is totally amazing and I can personally recommend it as it provides convenience and comfort, plus it's very cheap for the entire service package.

It was great, but...

The hotel was a definite choice because it is halal-friendly, therefore we do not need to worry about breakfast and our other meals. Next to the restaurant, there are also a lot of other halal-friendly restaurants.

We have only two gripes with the hotel:
#1 We contacted the hotel to arrange for an airport transfer but received no reply. When we attempted to clarify, the reception pushed the blame to the booking platform instead - no apologies given.
#2 and this was a bigger one: the carpet in our room (due to its light colour) looked dirty and had a lot of stains. This totally messed with us and made us wonder about the cleanliness of the remaining items around the room, such as the upholstery, the curtains, etc. We resorted to having our shoes on in the room, and couldn't bring ourselves to sit on the carpet (when we needed to unpack / pac / etc) and had lay a towel on.

Otherwise, the lobby staff and the doormen were all very friendly and super helpful with tips on places to go / eat, and the breakfast buffet selection was quite alright too.

We'd recommend it for its halal-friendliness, but...be prepared for the condition of the room.

I had a terrible experience stay at Al Meroz Bangkok Ramkhamhaeng. I stayed for 4 nights from 20 Dec 2024 to 24 Dec 2024. We arrived from Hua Hin and checked in at the lobby at around 1900H. When we entered the hotel lobby with our luggages, the bellman and doorman (2 of them at the door) opened the big doors without greeting us and did not offer to carry our luggages. 1st disappointment. The 2nd disappointment was the very bad odour/smell that was in the toilet. We also found strands of hair in the bathub. The odour did not go away for the 4 nights despite leaving the keycard in the slot and to let the ventilation running to absorb the moist. The 3rd disappointment was the rude and unfriendly female staff at the cafe in the lobby. She gave 2 welcome drinks to our family after she asked how many family members I had. I have 4 family members, my wife and my 2 small kids. She let us sat and in the cafe and served us only 2 small cup of drink which was a grape juice. I was truly disppointed because this doesnt reflect a 5-star hotel rating standard. I spoke with the Duty Manager and he apologised on that. The restaurant manager too came and apologised. He offered complimentary breakfast to my family which I declined because I wasn't demanding for any compensation. All I wanted is for that particular female staff to know her mistake and be well educated and not to let hotel guest feel miserable. My family and I will never come back to Al-Meroz in the future.

The property was really great. We were looking for a halal property and this was perfect for us. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to look after us especially Tasneem from front desk who organized breakfast for us to fast and the concierge team was also great. The only thing I would like to see improved is the shower as the bathtub shower combo is not the best with the bathtub quite small.

Another hotel in Asia where the rating makes no sense.

Price was fair but not exactly a great location for exploring the city. I stayed for 1 night to be near the football stadium.

You might find the hotel (and maybe the area) suitable if your a Muslim but in terms of hotel amenities and logistics. It's average to poor.

242 rooms and just 2 elevators.

242 rooms and just a swimming pool the size of a Toyko hotel room.

242 rooms and a \"fitness centre\" the size of their smallest room (about 30sqm).

Internet is slow, doesn't work in some areas of the hotel and is just all around not fit for purpose. I ended up using data most of the time.

The buffet was decent. The room was clean and a good size but it overlooked the freeway. I was also placed in a room on the same floor / hallway as the Australian futsal team who chose to do some loud team meeting / bonding session and play video games in their rooms with the doors open, shouting at each other from room to room. Seemed like a bunch of bogans. I hope they lose every game for the rest of their careers. Not the hotel's fault but poor they can't shut these clowns up.

This is a Muslim hotel, so there’s no alcohol allowed on premises. The buffet breakfast was a little less than average. Only ladies can use the pool from 7 AM till noon. No men allowed at that time. We were on the ninth floor. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful but our room was dated. The hallways were dated wallpaper was ripped the air conditioner in our room leaked and water pooled on our floor. The shower was broken and our bed was full of hair. I did not contact the front desk about any of this when I was on site, our door lock battery died in the middle of the night and had to have them fix it so we could get back into our room and this hotel is a little out-of-the-way

The people here are very lovely and helpful. Upon walking into the hotel, it feels very much like a 5 star hotel, but once you leave the lobby, the stars go down. We were on the 14th floor and upon exiting the elevator, you are greeted by a large empty space with just a sofa by the window, no other adornments/decor. The carpets looked very dirty. Our room was just as the pictures showed but again, carpets stained and dirty. It was rather off-putting. I guess it was fine for what we needed, a place to stay before heading to the airport in the early am.

Cleaners clean our room every day except for the day we requested not to, which is very impressive. Staff are very helpful and approachable. On the negative note- It can be extremely noisy, we can hear people talking next door ( throughout the night), difficult to sleep when we can hear doors open and close. The shower can be extremely hot even when it’s cold. Phone line doesn’t seem to work and the tv keeps buffering due to no signal.

Good room size. Lobby was large and appealing. Best feature is the two side windows in the room which can be opened for fresh air to come in. Breakfast food was not kept hot enough. Toilet paper supply surprisingly limited for a big hotel like this, only one small roll per day. I have to ask for extra roll everyday in my 7 days stay. The worst thing I don't like is the dirty waterway next to the hotel and the gym location is just facing it. Very bad smell from the dirty water.

This is not a 4 star property, let alone a 5 star property. It might have been so when built. However, today, the rooms are dated, along with the carpet, furniture, beds, bathrooms and everything else inside the rooms. Terrible mold build-up in the bathrooms, reflecting poor upkeep. Honestly, this is simply not a quality place and we were not at all comfortable staying the one night we stayed. The location is not very appealing either. Staff is friendly and accommodating, however. But, if you are looking for more, this is not the place.

It's very central close to airport and train the hotel caters to Muslims because no alcohol or pork products but other religions are welcome. All the staff are very friendly and lovely especially the front desk staff who were very accommodating and helpful. the breakfast that was included in our stay was very nice too having a variety of food to choose from. I’ve spend my vacation Thaihland in five hotels two of them is a three stars hotels and thus hotel is the worest. The wifi was not working. You have to enter the passwrd every 10 mins. The reciption told me that they can not make anything till the IT guy come in the mornig so expect that if you had any problem at night sorry Almerzo do not have any support at night. I choose this hotel because of Halal food but the food was a disaster the breakfast buffet was full of lunch items. Who put an indina biriani on a breakfast buffet !!? The locatio.
