Overall good experience with this hotel. They allowed early check in when we reached and had extended our check out by an hour as we had a late flight, so very accomodative if there is a need. Metro station is 10 min walk. Did not find any nearby good Indian restuarant. Vegetarian options should be added in Breakfast menu which I found lacking.

I stayed here for about a week and had a generally comfortable stay.

Points to note:
1. The partition between the shower booth and the sink area is too short and cannot be fully closed. When using the shower normally, water easily splashes onto the sink area floor. I had to adjust the shower angle toward the partition to minimize this, but the floor still got slightly wet.
2. For safety reasons, there is no power outlet in the bathroom. A basic hair dryer is provided, but it is low quality. There is a shaver-only outlet attached to the dryer. If you want to use your own hair dryer in front of the bathroom mirror, I recommend bringing an extension cord and plugging it into the outlet just outside the bathroom.
There are outlets at the desk, but no mirror there, so bringing a tabletop mirror is also recommended.
There is a large mirror outside the bathroom, but due to the lighting position, it was hard to see clearly and not very practical for me.
3. There are no bathrobes or slippers, so bring your own if you need them.
4. Toothbrushes are not equipped, but you can request them at the reception. It would be better if there were an online request system.
5. The windows are not soundproof, so traffic and train noise from outside can be quite loud.
6. The Thai noodle soup (ก๋วยเตี๋ยว) at the breakfast buffet lacks proper broth flavor and was very bland.
7. The coffee from the breakfast area’s coffee machine is very bitter and lacks aroma.
8. ATMs in the lobby are convenient.

Breakfast is the biggest downside. For such a big hotel the choice is very little.

Check- in/ Check-out process was easy and efficient. The staff was very professional, attentive, and courteous. The breakfast was excellent and culturally diverse with a variety of options some of which changed daily. I brought up a concern to the front desk and they addressed it immediately. It’s a very stylish hotel located minutes walking from the nearest rail station. Good restaurants, food trailers, and two 7-Elevens nearby. The hotel only had 1 washer/dryer set but that’s not a deal breaker for me. I will definitely stay here again.

Estuvimos en el hotel casi 1 semana en un viaje familiar con 2 niños; en términos generales MUY BIEN. Es un hotel chico, pero comodo y de fácil acceso.. no hay muchos malls al rededor, pero puedes caminar unos 15mins para encontrar uno pequeño. El desayuno estuvo bien, pero algunas veces faltaba personal para la demanda de gente, pero nada grave... Si volveríamos a reservar allí en una siguiente oportunidad.

Nice hotel with all the basics. Very nice breakfast and pool with bar on 7th floor woth view of Bangkok and lounge music. Bit far from the temples and old town, but you can take the train and metro which are very clean, efficient and easy to take. You can also take a Grab (taxi). It takes about 30 mins to river and temples.

Budget hotel on Sukhumvit. High rise property in working class area. Maybe difficult to access even though the BTS station is a five minute walk. Two of the three elevators were out of service. Room is ok but no slippers, robe or USB ports. Breakfast was good for a budget hotel. I don’t recommend this place for first time visitors to Bangkok.

I was given a room on the 20th floor and came to find a cockroach infestation in my room and have the photos of the bugs, was very unfortunate as I spent a good amount of money for this room just to be disappointed and uncomfortable, was switched rooms but not given any type of refund.
If I was given a penthouse room for the night to combat the cockroach infestation then I may have not been so upset with my experience

I always find the staff very friendly and helpful and I was able to pick up a case that I left here for a few days whilst I visited Cambodia for a few days , which was invaluable.
The only thing I wasn’t so happy with was the price of the drinks on the roof terrace!

Convenient location and great Service

My family had a great stay at this hotel! The location was excellent, just a short walk to the BTS, which made getting around the city so convenient. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety of options. I enjoyed relaxing in the pool area, though the water was a bit colder than expected. The staff were helpful and friendly. Good value for the money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Stay here a few times. It has always been a positive. It’s best for single or couple or young adult because the room is on the small size even with an upgrade; the room still under 300sq ft. Compare to other hotel,you will get more. But the positive are this location only a few mins walk to BTS, extremely easy transportation, check in - out always fast and convenient. The hotel staffs are always on top of thing and will resolve issue if you ever have one. In face my husband forgot his wallet. We didn’t even realized it until our hotel room ring. Can’t belive they able to track us down within a few mins. It blown our mind away.

Okay hotel for a few nights

It was an okay hotel for us. As it is an Ibis chain hotel you’ll get some quirky things. Like the shower is frosted glass which leaves some non frosted at the bottom that removes some privacy. Toilet door is a sliding door without a look. Hotel air conditioning was just okay. Wrong setting made the room very humid. In our bathroom the tap at the sink was too short so most water ended up next to the sink. Staff are friendly, but it seems they are understaffed. Location is quite busy but convenient to be close to the BTS sky train. Breakfast was okay. Some hot and continental options.

We had a triple room with a double bed for the children. The room is spacious enough, the breakfast good (with a excellent noodle soup) and easy access to the BTS Skytrain. Even with the loud Sukhumvit road, the rooms are very quiet.

The staff was efficient and friendly during the check in and out process and the room was cleaned daily. The nighttime view from the room window was also impressive from the 17th floor. Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel for the mentioned amenities but also for its proximity to the Phra Khanong BTS.

Clean, modern hotel conveniently located for transport to other parts of the city and reasonably close to both airports. The light rail station is less than a minute's walk away. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There are many options for eating out within walking distance, though the hotel has its own restaurant if you don't want to go out.

Property was neat and fancy enogh to stay. You have to ask for amenities when you check in which I wouldn't need to. Personally, this place not suitable for business trip! traffic is terrible at any time and right besides the subway crosses very often. But, if you are here for relax in downtown, enjoy the infinite swiming pool on 7th floor. Breakfast was better than others(similar price for staying) in Bang-na.

The front desk lady Nana was really nice she spoke English and she was very helpful always had a welcoming smile on her face when I would return in the afternoon. The train was very easy to ride it took about 8 stop to get to Siam Paragon.

The hotel is in a not so commercialized part of Sukhumvit Road, and therefore not a lot of shops around. But there is a Seven nearby, which is very convenient. The BTS station is only about 5 minutes walk, and therefore you can access to others places in Bangkok easily. The staffs are very friendly. The buffet breakfast is good and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel.

My second stay here--the first time was right after they opened. It's ok. Just barely ok. And in Bangkok you can get a lot more for the same price. Ibis took a cookie cutter hotel designed for more expensive markets, and dropped it in a place where it doesn't really belong. The rooms are small and dark, windows are tiny, and it's priced about the same as some Bangkok Marriott properties.

I also didn't love being put on a floor also serving Covid quarantine guests--I assumed you'd be housed elsewhere and not mixed in at random. The employees who deal with the quarantine guests are in full protective gear, so you assume that it's a hazardous place to be.

There's also a quarantine elevator reserved for staff only, but unfortunately, there's only one elevator button for all of the cars. It's not well thought out.

It is in a great location, though not that close to BTS if you want to go out and explore. Phra Khanong is a fantastic place for food, markets, and entertainment.

As the whole world was reeling due to the Corona Virus, the staff at the Ibis Styles continued to smile and went out of their way to be helpful.
Even though the guest numbers had fallen drastically, the hotel continued to provide the same service, as before, and the buffet breakfast, for example, continued to provide a wide variety of fruit and hot food options, whilst other hotels, we heard, had started to ration their guests to single plates of food.
