Very clean and well-maintained property. Shower had good water pressure. Toilet flush was weak. Beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. Food at the restaurant was pretty good too.

Other guests from China were very loud at 6:30 am in the morning. Shouting from my one room at one end of the hall to the room at the other end of the hall. I had to come out of my room to tell them to be quiet and received an unfavorable look from one woman. Very inconsiderate and arrogant on their part.

Staff was great to talk to as well as to deal with. Airport shuttle service is limited to sertion time and it does not post the time on site.
I arrived at 2300 hours and had to take a taxi. No big deal but don't advertise a service and then when it is requested you say it's limited to a time. Bathroom poor venting which had created mold on the ceiling and other places. Overall I would never stay at this establishment again.

There's nothing wrong about the hotel itself, which was clean and well-equipped, the room was spacious, and there was a gym and swimming pool for the guests too. The staff were efficient, but nothing over the top with their services. My only problem was the transportation, because the road traffic around the area was so congested.

I was there to be near Bangkok hospital. Free shuttle to and from hospital. Big room and great bathtub. WiFi great. Restaurant and room service food expensive. No nearby restaurants as this is a residential area. Hospital has a food court inside. Also outside the hospital across from 7-11 is an Indian, Arab restaurant, good but a bit pricey. Bed a bit hard. Hotel was full of Chinese package tourists. Very satisfied for the price.

Stayed to be nearby Bangkok hospital. Free shuttle to and from hospital. Good WiFi, nice big bathtub for relax. Big room, clean, mattress hard but pillow soft. Residential area so no place to eat, their restaurant expensive, also room service expensive. At hospital is a good food court and nearby S&P, McDonalds and across the street a nice indian, Arabic food restaurant, a bit expensive but good. And some street vendors. Hotel has elevator. No English TV channels. Big discount because of swimming pool renovation but I heard nothing. Would recommend if you want to be near hospital.

The hotel was far from metro station and needs to take a taxi to have access to metro station. The staff specially men in reception were rude and not helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and had various choices to eat and drink.

Great value and friendly staff

I would say the best part of this experience was the staff. They were super friendly and helpful. I booked this place without reading reviews and was disappointed when I read about the distance and inaccessibility, however I didn’t find it that bad. I took public trans and walked 15-20 mins. I liked seeing the city that way. Also, the front desk gave me a card with the informational to show cab drivers and this was extremely helpful. The room was great. Not the best place I’ve stayed but good for what I paid.

A-One Bangkok staff are rude to customers who don't come in group tours. If you stay at this hotel without coming through a tour group reservation, you won't be given much attention. This hotel has contracts with tour agencies in China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and France. Preference are given to those passengers who are with tour groups. When I first walked in to the front desk, I was ignored by staff - they thought I was a vagabond - the front desk clerks were preferred dealing with Chinese group tour passengers - so then if they are customers, then who was I - not a customer? I paid money in advance, but they don't care about individuals. Anyways, so finally I was able to get room which I declined because it was dirty. So the clerk decided to decline to deal with me anymore - don't know the reason why? He asked some other front desk guy to deal with me. Front desk clerk have limited English language speaking skills. Communication was a BIG problem. The WiFi in my room #1007 on 10th floor was VERY WEAK. It kept on dropping all the time. I had to call front desk clerk several times to fix this issue - they told me to move another room - I declined because I had unpacked my bags and didn't want to repack and unpack again - it was too much for me. The fact that this hotel had my money up front, meant I was now in a weak position to negotiate with them on any issues - they will NOT refund money under any circumstances. I say DON'T stay at this hotel PERIOD,

Good clean hotel near Bangkok Hospital and Dental Hospital, staff friendly, sometimes a bit over crowed with bus / coach tours, got 50 people trying to all use elevators at once and of coarse the idiots getting in elevator going opposite to where its heading so they just riding elevators up and down without getting out, bit annoying when in lobby and elevator arrives full and no one gets out, not hotels fault they have stupid guest i guess. i would stay again when i need to go to Dentist or hospital again

We only stayed here 1 night because we flew out the next day. Were happy to find they had an amazing array of options for breakfast. Room smelled of toilet balls when we checked in. Had to remove them ourselves (were left in the bin) and noticed that toilet paper hadn't been replenished. Otherwise perfect service, good sized room with good bed and 7/11 around the corner.

Charge for hot water

Hotel room and service Ok, but restaurant service lacks good service. At breakfast, We asked for hot water to make brewed tea a bit weak and was told the charge is 3 (trois) Euros or 60 baht. This is very disappointing for a simple request where comparable hotels would meet such a request with a smile. There was no supervisory presence in the restaurant at all to query or discuss anything and the restaurant staff can barely speak english.

Arrived at 4 am Bangkok time and they made us wait until 6 am. When we approached them to speak and check in staff was belittling and unfriendly. Maybe it was the time or who knows. But still unprofessional.

It does the job

Pool is really small but gets the job done. The view from the pool area sucks and so did our room. However, if you pay more for the better rooms you might get lucky with a better view from your room. Downstairs restaurant and bar was way overpriced but that's expected at a hotel and the service was so-so from the front desk.

Nice hotel with American style beds (comfy)

1st stay here. Hotel quality was overall good and staff was very attentive. All facilities in hotel (restaurant, pool, etc...) were up to standards for this class hotel. Big plus was a very comfortable western style bed (which can be hard to find in Thailand) and nice spacious rooms with a good view of the city.
Hotel seems to cater mostly to tour bus groups but there is parking there if you drive your own car as well.
Hotel is close (short taxi ride: about 70-100 baht / $2-3 US) to 2 stations of the SRT Airport Link train which takes you cheaply (35baht / $1 US) to the International Airport.
Water taxi on one of the main Klongs (canals) is about a 5 minute walk and runs east and west which can link up to BTS skytrain stations and into Bangkok city center cheaply.
Hotel does offer limited free shuttle service to some markets and Metro train stations but limited departures in morning and early afternoon.
Only disadvantages I felt were that hotel is not convenient directly to metro system (MRT & BTS sbway train systems) and the water taxi stops around 6pm so if out after that then you are cabbing it back and forth to hotel.
Also, the hotel sits back off main rd a little bit and there are limited restaurants etc.... directly by hotel. 7-11 and a tasty local Thai restaurant about 100meters from hotel. After that, a 5 minute walk towards Bangkok hospital puts you on Petchaburi rd which has ample shopping and food available.

Good hotel for Bangkok Hospital visit!

Stayed because of the location is nearby of Bangkok Hospital where I had an appointment for yearly checkup. This was my 4th stay and nothing has changed, just rooms are looking more and more tired every year. For anything else than hospital visit the location is miserable and for the price the hotel is nothing special. Rooms are tired, staff is friendly though.

Good place in bad traffic.

Good trip

It's a big hotel and the management looks impressive. We really like the concierge service. Every thing looks clean and modern. Our room is spacious and has the right amount of furniture. There's a fancy granite counter but the sink was clogged though. The bathtub and shower worked great but the toilet didnt flush well.

One of the better hotels

The hotel was originally a 3-star hotel but has since been upgraded to 5-star with fresh renovations and a new annex building that caters to a niche group of motel lovers. The room is spacious and staff are courteous and helpful. I lost my Thai ATM card at the airport only to find out after I had checked into the hotel. The receptionist was kind enough to assist me with notifying the bank to cancel the ATM card with the telephone at the reception counter as it would have cost a bomb on my prepaid SIM card to navigate around the automated telephone answering machine of the bank.

The hotel is not centrally located as it's neither near the BTS or MRT. Many Chinese tourists arriving in loads of buses in the evening struggled for a meaningful shopping experience in the neighbourhood except for a small 7 Eleven store located opposite the hotel.

It was ok for one night. I chose the hotel due to his location next to Bangkok Hospital. Otherwise the hotel is very noisy, the rooms are smelly with old carpets, hair in the bed!!
the wifi was not working in my room section (although advertised for)

Only go there if you have too.... Price is reasonable.

Have to pay extra to use FItness

The hotel is clean. It provided a flesh towel upon checking in.

But when I went to the fitness room, it required that I had to pay extra 350 Baht ($12) to use the facility. This is not mention at their web site. When I talked to the staffs that this should already included as a hotel guest. They were not helpful. If the hotel wants to charge extra fee, it should clearly state at their web site or during reservation.

Es war alles in einem durchschnittlich gewesen. Für 4 Sterne hat es unsere Erwartungen nicht getroffen. Frühstücksbüffet war aber gut, und reichlich gedeckt für europäischen und asiatischen Standards angepasst. Leider ist das Hotel weit weg vom City. Da kommt man eher mit dem Taxi hin oder Sky Train. Taxis zum Siam Mall kostet mit Taxameter 100 baht Minimum, manchmal aber mehr. Preise richtet sich nach der Nationalität.

トンローエリア近くではコストバリュー有りです。

ホテル内レストランは充実。ハイウエイ出入口にも近く、またセブンイレブンがすぐ前に有り便利です。
部屋は及第点というところです。
場所はトンロー中心から少し離れてバンコク病院の近くですが、コストバリュー有りです。

J'ai comme toujours apprécié la disponibilité du personnel, le buffet toujours aussi attrayant, hélas la piscine était fermée, ce qui a contrarié notre nièce âgée de 5 ans qui se faisait une joie de partir avec nous pour Bangkok. Nous avons donc abrégé d'une nuit notre séjour et nous n'avons pas eu le temps de fréquenter le FITNESS ou le SPA. Pour sure nous y reviendrons...
