Nice hotel but service was patchy and a bit bizarre at times. Beds for the kids weren’t made up for our arrival and then the receptionist ended up having to do it because housekeeping had gone home. Checkin was lengthy. A shame to have no real wood fire in the bar, just a weird artificial one that doesn’t put out heat. Spa manager shouted at the kids for being in the pool past 6pm when reception told us that was ok. Otherwise, nice rooms, location, food etc. just a bit haphazard on the service side.

We had a great stay. Family getting 2 rooms, we were told at check-in that the rooms were joined and they weren't. When asked if one room could change to give us joined rooms, they said it was not possible. We made due and still had a very nice time at the hotel. It has a lovely sauna area that is constantly maintained and clean. Breakfast was also very nice and a good variety. Staff really went the extra mile to assist with finding my spouse activities to do while we ski'd. They were great. The only downside to the whole stay was the unbelievable lack of TV channels. Tons of names of channels, only a few actually worked. And unlike other countries, we could not change the language of the movies. Wifi worked fine for everything we used it for.

If your shabbos observant this is a great location for the weekday but for shabbos there's a problem with going up the stairs. To open the door you need a electronic key and the hotel won't get someone to open it for you. find somewhere else for shabbos!

The amaron is a stylish and modern hotel and we both loved the design of it. Also the room was beautiful and very clean and comfy. We felt really good at the hotel. But what‘s best of all, is the staff. They are amazingly professional and would go every extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The hotel takes complaints very seriously and adresses them with kindness and unexpected and unequalled sort of compensations. Actually, they couldn’t do better any more, because they are already just doing it perfectly.

Great Hotel at excellent value, almost 5*

Great Hotel with top facilities and great location for davos. Nice pool and sauna, good access and large airy rooms. Some details prevent the hotel from 5* status: many kids by the pool, a generic and soul-less breakfast (with mediocre fruit juice or bread), and OK-only bedding. Couldn't connect to Wifi. The hotel was pretty empty when we were there and the upgrade to suite felt nice.

Nice clean hotel, with great service. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi speed was good, and the pool was very enjoyable. The hotel is very accommodating for families with kids with a nice play room with many toys. I would like to see more options for salads during breakfast.

It’s a nice and modern hotel. Room with nice balcony looking out to snow mountains. Breakfast selection was enough quality can be better. Abit difficult to get to if you don’t know the way, car park always full and need to park next door but it’s jot connected to the hotel car park which makes the trip abit tricky Sao if you have luggage with you. Room size is good but no bathtub. Overall good value for its price. Will stay again.

My wife, my daughter and I checked in room 102 on 22nd Dec 2018 for 7 nights.

This is the second time we come to Davos, Switzerland. The first time (Feb 2018) we stayed in Intercontinental, this time (Dec 2018) we stayed in Ameron.

To be honest, WOW is an understatement. Ameron exceeded my expectation in all areas. For example: friendly staff, highly visible management, clean and tidy room, good location for going to different ski areas, good ambience bar & restaurant. Also, we are on half board and I am very happy with the quality of the food and service offered.

I love Ameron so much that I must give it a 5 stars rating. Thank you Ameron!!

Such friendly desk staff at checkin & the hotel is well located close to a bus stop & between the 2 train stations in Davos. Loved the decor! Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety & the hotel even started breakfast at 5am before a big local trail running event. Would definitely stay there again!

Bad weekend to stay

We went to this hotel especially for the comfort and because it has a few options to have fun with kids. What we didn’t expected was that after the World economic forum we would have so many excuses. To start the checkin would be possible just after 3pm (that’s ok, we can manage it), but after that we wanted the hotel that we booked. The playroom (that the kids were excited about) was closed during all the weekend (our stay) and the service at the restaurant was awful (just two or three people working). We needed to wait almost one hour for the food with the tired kids.
We went to Davos, and this hotel to spend a nice time with family and friends and we had a lot of stress. I have invited a couple of friends with two kids to come with us because it’s a kids friendly hotel and we are all disappointed.
I never went in a ‘regular ‘ weekend, but I imagine that would nice as the rooms are very comfortable, the hotel is nice and they have a good breakfast!
I hope it would be better my next experience at Davos...

Hotel wäre ok, aber Service nicht sehr aufmerksam, Garage in der Migros mühsam (sehr lange Treppe ohne Lift), Ein- und Ausgang meistens über den stinkigen Skiraum (Ausrichtung des Hotels falsch) - und als dann noch meine Kinder nach 18h im Pool (obwohl ich für deren Ruhe gebürgt hätte) nicht erlaubt waren, fühlte ich mich noch nie so unwillkommen in einem Hotel wie diesem..

Gut gelegen, nett eingerichtet, aber insgesamt sehr gross und damit etwas unpersönlich. Trotzdem sehr freundliches Personal. Grosses Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt (aber die warmen Speisen waren teilweise nicht zugedeckt und dann halt schnell kalt). Angenehmes Spa mit Sauna und Pool.
Negativ aufgefallen ist uns, dass ein Room Service Roll-Tisch mit schmutzigem Geschirr und nicht aufgegessenen Speisen stundenlang im Gang herumstand und nicht abgeräumt wurde. Das ist unappetitlich und sollte verbessert werden.

Super tolles, modernes Hotel mit der Liebe zum Detail. Freundliches Personal, sehr schöne Zimmer. Super leckeres Morgenbuffet mit allem was es braucht. Zentrale Lage, Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel (Ticket war bei Übernachtung inkl.). Einziger Minuspunkt, der Pool im Spa-Bereich inkl. Liegemöglichkeiten ist für die Menge Leute etwas klein.

Empfang gut und einfach. Garage gut. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und gut. Smoke Lounge vorhanden! Aber nicht im Prospekt. Sehr schön und gut gelüftet.

Unbedingt nicht stören an die Türe hängen, die putzequipe kommt ab 09:00 Uhr. Sehr störend.

Schon der Empfang war super, sehr freundliches Personal.
Das Zimmer ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, tolles Bett.
Grosses Badezimmer mit schöner Dusche.
Balkon mit 2 Sesseln, sehr bequem mit Kissen.
Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, schönes Lokal, stöhrend war nur die Klimaanlage.

Schönes Hotel gut gelegen in Davos.
Uns haben ein paar Prozent gefehlt für wunschlos glücklich. Die persönliche Note fehlt. Z.B. wurde es komplett ignoriert, dass ich einen runden Geburtstag während des Aufenthaltes hatte, trotz Fragen seitens meiner Frau…
Auch war das Premium Zimmer zur Rückseite, Berge sichtbar aber eher Häuser…

Wir waren mit 2 Kindern da,
Das Personal ist sehr Kinderfreundlich, besonders im Essbereich, soo zuvorkomment und sehr nett.

Die Sponntane Blumen bestellung hat sehr gut geklapt.

Reinigung im Zimmer war sehr Sauber und exakt.

Was ich schad fand beim gesammten Aufenthalt, dass das Wasser im Bad sehr kalt war! Meine kinder konnten leider nicht Baden, hatte mich extra vor informiert und konnten es leider nicht nutzen! Wir haben extra für ein Hotel mit Bad entschieden, aber leider nicht nutzen, auch andere Gäste haben das so geäussert.

Frühstück war super lecker und grossen auswahl mit frischen sachen.

Wir verbrachten 1 Nacht im Ameron Davos.
Leider liessen wir uns von den vielzähligen Bewertungen und der Homepage täuschen.

Beim Check-In nahmen wir einen Parkplatz. Dieser kostet CHF 23.00/Nacht. Es ist lediglich eine Tiefgarage und für diesen happigen Preis, gibt es nicht mal einen Shuttle zu den Liften, etc.
Ebenfalls änderten wir unsere Restaurantreservation. Statt Bünder sollte es doch der Italiener werden. Die Änderung wurde problemlos vorgenommen.
Am Abend wurde uns im Restaurant gesagt, dass es keine Änderung gäbe und wir ins ursprüngliche müssten. Auf den Vorschlag dort zu sitzen und die italienische Karte zu nehmen, war das angeblich nicht möglich. Obwohl alles aus einer Küche kommt?
Man einigte sich darauf, dass wir auf den nächsten freien Tisch warten und solange an der Bar warten.
Bei der Bar wurde nochmals die Rezeption auf das Durcheinander hingewiesen.
Getröstet wurden wir mit 2 kostenlosen Drinks und der Abend nahm wieder eine gute Wendung.
Auch die Wartezeit war kurz und wir konnten beim Italiener Platz nehmen.
Dort hatten wir leider 2 aufdringliche Kellner. Trotz des Hinweises, dass nur 1 Person Wein Drinks, wurden 2 Gläser eingeschenkt.
Am Frühstück erfolgten ebenfalls aufdringliche Sätze.
Ebenfalls funktionierte nur jeder 2. TV-Sender.

***Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel***

We had a great experience at the Ameron. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in advising us on activities and transport around the area. The facilities were very clean and the spa area extremely good and welcoming, and never crowded. The location is quite convenient being just close to Parsenn and at 10 minutes bus ride to Jackobshorn. Recommend it!

man würde sich freuen wenn man nach dem Tag im Schnee in warmes Wasser könnte

Das Personal ist freundlich aber sehr bei sich ,man könnte so ein guten Morgen , bon giorno , allegra ruhig hören , leider sind am Frühstück jeden Morgen die Tische nie sauber gemacht worden, ich hab jedesmal selber das grüne microfiber Tuch genommen dass da noch lag um meinen Tisch einigermassen zu säubern, auch die Polster sind voller Krümel und caotina

Sehr schöne und geräumige Zimmer. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Frühstück war super, schweizer Standart.
Parkmöglichkeiten, haben eine eigene Tiefgarage. Super Reise mit Hund, gibt Hundedecke und Näpfe.

Don’t know if i should stay again…

Nice hotel, good location but…
Service during breakfast was 1 morning below zero! Breakfast from 7-10:30, we were at 9:30 there and a lot of things were not there anymore, including hotel sandwiches…practically no cheese, no eggs, no pastries….
When i asked the first waiter she said…yes i go see. After 10 minutes still nothing so i asked another waiter. He also said…i go see…after again 10 minutes he came to me and said…i’m sorry only bread no more sandwiches….
Meanwhile i saw a lot of other guests look for sandwiches. When i said that this is poor service and an hour before closing time this is not acceptable. He only said…i’m sorry.
After 15 minutes, i only had some coffee and 2 little pancakes the 2nd waiter comes to me and said, in 5 minutes there will be sandwiches. After 8 minutes, meanwhile there were only 2 other tables with still guests, of course, it was already 10:20, he came with a full basket of sandwiches.
Another little thing, we had to ask to fill the minibar, was included, because he only gave a new bottle of water. The following days minibar was ok but het did not gave water.

Wir haben einen Familienurlaub geplant, leider durften die Kinder nur bis 18 Uhr in den Swimmingpool. Der Kidsraum war auch nicht so toll… Den Fussballkicker konnte man sich nicht benutzen haben zu viele Teile gefehlt. Für Kids etwas zu langweilig.

Das Zimmer war einfach toll eingerichtet,hat mir sehr gefallen 😊und die Reception war mega freundlich und hilfsbereit,beim Frühstück waren auch alle freundlich! Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr grosszügig!
Das Hotel kann ich nur weiter empfehlen !

Gutes Hotel, schlechte Parksituation

Leider kann der Parkplatz nicht reserviert werden. Ich wäre sogar bereit gewesen, einen Aufpreis für die Reservation zu bezahlen, dies war leider ebenfalls nicht möglich. Daher musste ich leider für eine Nacht mein Auto im öffentlichen Migros Parkhaus abstellen (eher enge Parkplätze). Dies ist sehr schade da ansonsten der Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr schön war. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist weltklasse und tadellos.

Sehr schönes Hotel, grosses Zimmer, mit Stil eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl.
Der Spa ist sehr modern und großzügig, es lohnt sich ihn zu besuchen. Das Frühstück ist gut, eine Standard Auswahl, es fehlt nix.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Schönes Hotel an guter Lage in Davos, da sehr zentral und trotzdem ziemlich ruhig. Das Frühstück war lecker und der Wellness-Bereich wirklich hübsch. Dass wir unser Zimmer bei Anreise (1 Stunde zu früh) nicht gleich beziehen konnten hat uns weniger gefallen.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt gewesen und es gibt nicht zu beanstanden. Nur ist es etwas laut wenn die Motorräder die Hauptstraße lang fahren. Für ein 4Sterne Hotel top.

Alles tiptop - dennoch etwas zu teuer.

Personal war suuuper freundlich! Schöne Zimmer! Sonntagmorgen war der Brunch sehr busy. Der Pool ist etwas zu kalt zum chillen. Er ist echt zum Schwimmen gedacht. Der Hottub war etwas zu heiss - man hält es fast nicht aus darin. Alles war aber grundsätzlich tiptop - aber irgendwie trotzdem zu teuer da kein Wow-Effekt.

Unflexibles, unfreundliches Reservationsgebaren

Katastrophaler Buchungsablauf, unflexibles Hotel. Woltte wegen Kongressverschiebung die Hotelreservation umbuchen: trotz 4 ! Telefonanrufen meinerseits, wohlgemerkt während den Büroöffnungszeiten keine Durchstellung zum Reservationsbüro möglich. Zudem unflexible unfreundliche Reaktion beim 5. Versuch ohne irgendwelches Entgegenkommen trotz Corona-bedingter Kongressabsage. Nach mehrfachem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel leider nie mehr!
