Lets start with positive things, hotel is on great location. Hotel staff is nice and food at the restaurant is local swiss food menu, way different than real Hard Rock Cafe menu with classic American food, anyway good food. Now, negative things about the hotel. At the checkin we were given room which was two floor below ground, when we went to the room i was shocked. Room was barely in the basement, window wasooking half in the ground and half into parking lot where cars are parked 2 feet away from the window. Room size was approximately 10 square feet barely one small bed and tv. I went back to the reception and refused to stay in that room so was given a different room which was on a 2nd floor. This room was way different but again it was a little bigger than the first one. Negative things about the room: has no clothing cabinet in the room ( only ikea open hanger cabinet to hang on clothes), bathroom was size of 2 square meters, where the sink is so small that you cant even let water run and wash your teeth), door on bathroom had an opening on both sides that all smell comes directly from bathroom into the room - pathetic, windows on the room are also not sealed well - at night cold air comes through them that i had to put pillows around them so the air doesnt come and room stays warm. Overall i think that price of the accommodation does not meet standards what it offers.

Mixed Experience – Great Service from Katharina,

We had booked a deluxe room and tried to upgrade, but never received confirmation. Upon check-in, the receptionist (an Italian girl—honestly terrible at her job) assured us we had a “nice” room. In reality, it was one of the worst we’ve ever stayed in—and we travel a lot! It was in the basement, right next to the elevator, with two single beds instead of the king we had booked. It was dark, smelly, and the window was practically on the street.

My partner went back to reception and luckily met Katharina, who was amazing and provided top-notch service. Unlike the first girl—who claimed the hotel was fully booked—Katharina was happy to show us other options. In the end, we upgraded to a lovely junior suite for a reasonable extra fee.

The room itself was nice but way too hot, and we couldn’t adjust the temperature.

The hotel overall was decent, though we’ve stayed at better Hard Rock Hotels. The spa was nice, and the breakfast was great—especially since it was included.

As high-level members, we had free parking and were told we could charge our car in the garage. However, the only option was a regular socket, not one suited for an electric car. Eventually, we found a proper charging station outside, but it required a separate payment.

Overall, it was a nice stay in a good location, but there were definitely some frustrating moments!

The hotel has big, well-maintained, modern rooms. We liked the breakfast, and the restaurant is also an excellent option for lunch and dinner if you don't feel like going out.

The gym is well-equipped for cardio and strength training (including a barbell rack, dumbells, etc).

The spa feels basic, but it's enough for a ski holiday.

Parking spaces are limited. There is free parking outside, but it is almost always full, and there is paid underground parking, which you must reserve via phone in advance. If you want to take the car out, reserve a space and hope the barrier works (otherwise, they can't guarantee the spot). Parking is the main inconvenience for this hotel.

Check in was delayed as the room was not ready. The receptionist couldn’t offer a solution and no excuse. The restaurant toilet was blocked for no reason for over 1h, we reported it several times but nothing happened. Furthermore, the staff told us to store the luggage in the car after we unloaded the car. We asked for a luggage room and the receptionist denied it.

Excellent hotel with minor issues

Hotel itslef is great. Loved the spa (saunas, steam room, and pool) and the excellent and wide ranging breakfast options.

Not so happy with construction in front of hotel. Nor the fact that my room was right above the staff's smoking spot, which is to the left of the front entrance.

Tried to rent an ebike from the hotel (c)very convenient!), but the bike had a broken spoke and there was zero setup for the shocks. Ended up cancelling the reservation and renting from bike shop instead.

Service staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and new and very clean. I've stayed here before and I'd stay here again in the future. Recommended.

Un hotel avec des atouts : bon emplacement, jolie chambre propre et salle de bains fonctionnelle, spa agréable.
Cependant, l’accueil n’a pas été à la hauteur. Il a fallu réclamer les avantages gold/VIP. Le parking gratuit a été accepté, mais le surclassement refusé 2 fois, alors que l’hôtel était loin d’être plein de l’aveu même de la réceptionniste. 4 mini macarons offerts pour compenser.
Lit d’appoint pour notre fille de 12 ans peu confortable (plutôt pour un jeune enfant 5/6 ans)
Nous n’avons pas aimé le restaurant pour le dîner : plats chers et médiocres.

The only other item is that was we thought there would be a mini fridge for ice and drinks but there was none!

A mixed experience

I booked for 2 nights just staying myself and my 10 year old son, having driven across Europe from the U.K. My son is a huge fan of Hard Rock hotels (our last stay being at the one in Tenerife) so we were excited to stay here in Davos. We booked the best room available (Platinum Suite - easily enough room for 6!) in hope of a great stay.

We had a poor experience at their restaurant on the first night (‘GMT 1’) but the following day the manager Lorraine took time to meet with me about it and went the extra mile to set things right. I trust she will train up the waiter involved.

The Spa was lovely, and Gabriella ensured we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. A little confusing to book (their digital booking system on the Contler app sent us round in circles, asking us for passwords that were weren’t provided) but once we’re we’re booked I had a great deep tissue back massage and a relax in the hot tub.

The Platinum Suite (room 906) is a large modern apartment. Decor was minimalistic compared to other Hard Rock hotels I’ve stayed at, feeling somewhat clinical rather than the usual rock star vibe. It was great to have USB sockets everywhere (even in the bathroom) and in true Hard Rock fashion I was able to borrow an acoustic guitar during our stay.

Nach über 10 Minuten Wartezeit beim Check-in war unser Zimmer um 15 Uhr leider noch nicht bereit. Daher gingen wir zuerst ins SPA. Nach dem SPA musste ich zum zweiten Mal 10 Minuten anstehen, um den Zimmerschlüssel zu erhalten. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht den Fotos auf der Website. Das Zimmer war für Rollstuhlfahrer ausgelegt. Dies bedeutet, dass das Badezimmer war gross war, jedoch eine offene Dusche und ein Mini-Lavabo enthielt. Obwohl ich als VIP-Member von Hotels.com einen garantierten Late-Check-Out zugesprochen hätte, wurde mir dies durch das Hotel verwehrt. Das Hotel ist gut zum Stadion gelegen. Das SPA und das Restaurant sind gut.

Tolles Hotel für ein Ski-/Spaaufenthalt

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit einem sehr schönen Wellnessbereich, schöne, saubere und großzügige Zimmer mit einem tollen Bad, sehr freundliches Personal, umfangreiches und leckeres Frühstück, großzügiger und sauberer Skiraum, gut organisierter Check-In und -out,
einziger wesentlicher Kritikpunkt: die Außenparkplätze und weite Teile der Zugänge zum Hotel, Skiraum etc. sind extrem vereist und damit gefährlich zu Fuß bzw. unfallgefährdet mit dem Auto (mein KFZ ist beim Ausparken auf einer Eisplatte auf ein anderes Fahrzeug gerutscht). Klar ist das ein alpiner Skiort, trotzdem sollte man hier als Hotel wesentlich mehr Sorgfalt an den Tag legen. Ungeachtet dessen, ein toller Aufenthalt.

\"Overhyped\" hotel. Rooms are extremely small. I booked a deluxe room for three (one kid 9 years). The room was so small was suitable for one person. During checking they took 100 CHF dipositive per day mentioning if we take something from the fridge.. There was no fridge in the room :-( Whenver you call reception, spa hotline no body takes call on first time.

Nice located but some improvement are urgently needed.
Only two desks for the check-in, therefore a waiting time of 20min is necessary.
Parking : got given the wrong code to enter the parking. No one to help, remained stuck in front of the door for 20min.
Our room was next to the « chapelle ». It was so loud. Couldn’t sleep properly.
Breakfast is still super good.

Ein tolles Haus, das kaum Wünsche offen lässt. Der Spa Bereich eine Oase zum Ausruhen und Auftanken. Der Service und Empfang hilfsbereit und freundlich. Unser Zimmer hatte Balkon und einen schönen Panoramablick. Lediglich bei der umfeldfreundlichkeit sollte das Haus mehr leisten. Anstatt vieler einzeln verpackter Dosen, Tüten, Beutel,… gibt es mittlerweile deutlich freundlichere Lösung.

Eigentlich gut wie immer, aber…

Eigentlich war unser letzter Aufenthalt gut wie die letzten Male auch, allerdings mussten wir feststellen dass es im Hotel auch Zimmer gibt, in denen eine ruhige Nacht nicht möglich ist. Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss an der Strasse, der Einfahrt zum Parkplatz, und dem Haupteingang. Da es noch dazu warm war und das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hatte, war an Schlaf erst am Morgen zu denken. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, das Zimmer sei schon ein Upgrade gewesen und da wir kurzfristig gebucht hätten wäre dies das beste was man uns anbieten könne. Beim Auschecken wurde uns angeboten, bei der nächsten Buchung einen „schönen“ Upgrade zu erhalten, die Frage stellt sich allerdings wie das nach 6 oder mehr Monaten realisiert werden soll wenn die Kundendaten nicht mit den Hotel.com Buchungen abgeglichen werden. Ansonsten ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Zubereitung von Omeletts beim Frühstück jetzt kostenpflichtig ist. Fazit: immer noch ein gutes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Angestellten und schönem Spa, aber dieser letzte Aufenthalt war nicht so gut.

Since I couldn’t eat at any other restaurant due to new Covid regulations requiring a Swiss certification, I ate at hotel and had the worst burger of my life and it cost $33 US. !!!
Also they have duvets that are so hot I can’t sleep. (Like most Swiss hotels).

Not up to other Hard Rock hotel standards

The area isn't great but we expected good things from this hotel. Sadly it didn't deliver. If you have stayed at any other hard rock hotels leave those expectations behind as this sadly does not match up.
The rooms are not air conditioned, only passivley cooled. Despite it being 7.6 degress outside we could not get our room below 25.7 degrees which, for us, and many travellers is just too hot. We did not sleep well at all due to this.
The veranda area needed help as it looked old and worn. At least breakfast should be good? Sadly no.
There was a reasonably good selection but hot items were cold. We expected more for the cost , much more.
The room had cobwebs so I don't think it had been cleaned very well.
The check in staff were very pleasant. Sadly though the front desk could do nothing about the room temperature. I highly doubt we will be returning.

Relativ neues Haus in zentraler Lage.
Leider wurde uns ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Balkon verwehrt (bzw. wurden uns nur 2 extrem schlechte Zimmer angeboten). Dass es nachts recht laut war, war nicht überraschend und kann dem Hotel nicht angelastet werden.
Dass beim Frühstück zubereitete Eierspeisen extra kosten, ist einer angeblich 4,5 Sterne-Unterkunft NICHT angemessen! Ansonsten war das Frühstücksbuffet aber sehr gut.
Auf dem Zimmer bekamen wir Kleenex und eine Minibar erst auf Anfrage, eine Kaffeemaschine gab es gar nicht.
Insgesamt war es zwar sehr schön, aber das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Hotel mit freundlichen Angestellten, gutes Essen

Wir wurden bereits an der Reception sehr freundlich empfangen. Schneller Check-In, da man vorher bereits viele Angaben Online hinterlegen konnte.
Das Schutzkonzept wurde uns erklärt, wie man sich für Frühstück und Nachtessen für eine Zeit entscheiden muss. Ich habe schon vor der Anreise mitgeteilt, wann wir Nachtessen möchten, so musste nur noch der Termin fürs Frühstück eingetragen werden.
Zimmer ist geräumig, sauber und hat genug Stauraum für zwei Personen. Dank dem VIP-Status von Hotels bekamen wir ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Bad/Dusche haben wir schon kleinere erlebt in anderen Hotels. Die Tücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt, obwohl wir dies nicht für nötig befinden.
Das Essen wir an jedem Tag sehr lecker. Sei es fritiert, köstliche Pommes in verschiedenen Variationen, Spaghetti, Reis mit grünem Curry oder ein Netrecôte, die Garstufe stimmte, es war optisch schön angerichtet und heiss.
Vor dem Essen nahmen wir einen Drink zu uns an der Bar. Auch hier bewährt sich das Schutzkonzept. Man registriert sich und den Partner einmal und mit dem gescannten QR-Code kommt man auf die gewünschte Karte. Will man einen Drink welcher nicht auf der Drinkkarte steht, so ist man hilfsbereit und das Gewünschte wird zubereitet.
Selbst über den Mittag kann man aus eine Karte warme Speisen wählen. Sei es ein Combo oder eine Suppe, alles war super Zubereitet.
Leider hatten wir keine Zeit für die Sauna etc, da wir viel am Langlaufen waren.
Die Nacht war jeweils sehr ruhig.

Ever since the HR opened in Davos we have been going and always having a lovely time. In the past couple of months we have been 3 times already, which allowed us to enjoy more the facilities and get to know a bit more the staff.
The best staff service came from the restaurant and the spa, in particular Maria & Emma, they have such a lovely personality and you feel the hospitality comes from within.
The front desk in my opinion is lacking that, they are of course nice and polite but it feels more that they do it because its their job.
Their location and the VIP Access place an important role when booking.
Look forward to go back in a couple of weeks.

We have stayed a couple of times already, both summer and winter and it is definitely a place we will keep on booking when visiting Davos.
The Staff is as charming as usual and it is very nice to see this despite the current pandemic situation.
The only challenge that we personally faced, was the capacity allowed in the spa during peak timings (25 people) but we could go around it either by booking a treatment instead or going another day at a time that the staff would tell us there was less people.

The Hard Rock Davos is a true haven for music lovers seeking to unwind and enjoy the fresh crisp Swiss air. The hotel is simple but executes very well. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the in house Spa and pool facilities. The staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate a birthday and even aid when one of us felt unwell. The likes of Maria at the Sessions Restaurant and Anja at the front desk made our stay a very pleasant one. Great value for money!

Staff was very freindly. It was really close to the bus route that takes you to the ski lifts and they provide you with a free bus pass the whole time there. They are dog freindly and provided my dog with a bowl, food, and matt. The spa is really nice and relaxing. They even had a small robe for my 3 yr old. We love staying at Hard Rock hotels and this one really rocks!

Just do not choose the 'Superior Room', it is very basic and it might disappoint you.

The hotel was excellent. Good location to go out and ski Jakobshorn. Room service was reasonably priced and food was good quality. The REAL bonus is the spa and hot tubs -- great to relax after a day of skiing.

Great property in Davos. Would go back. Rooms are a bit small - good for work trips but might be a squeeze for a couple. Also, Default Room temperature was set to uncomfortably high but you can adjust it.

The room we good we got was at the parking level and the blind were broken, it was unexpected from a 300CHF hotel room. I had to pay an upgrade on top to get a room that was acceptable. Beware.

Some of the people at the front desk where not so friendly and we would notice a difference in the service when waiting in line, some would even offer water at check in which we didn't receive. So its small things that should be applied to every guest and not be selective. Also for the property price I would have expected exceptional customer service and I would say it was more average, so it didn't met my expectations...the staff at the bar was sensational!

Much to be improved upon

I will start by saying that the hotel is fairly new. It has been appointed to a nice standard and the rooms are clean and tidy. BUT the staff were not very friendly. I think we only got one smile the whole time we were there. We had dinner in the restaurant (fairly average) and the waitress acknowledged we were English but then continued speaking to us in Swiss German, almost on purpose as if she did not appreciate foreigners being there (strange when you work in hospitality!). Additionally, we had an issue with the room whereby a nearby pizza restaurant turned into a nightclub blasting loud trash music at midnight. We had to call reception twice to ask if they could do something as we could not sleep. We were finally moved to another room at 1 am, having been told that \"it's not our music so there's nothing we can do\". This is Switzerland. There are noise regulations (like no noise after 10pm!). If your guests are being disturbed, you should sort it out or at least offer them a room away from the noise without them having to wait another 45 minutes and begging you to do that. We found out the next morning that the noise from the club is a fairly constant issue but they don't seem to do anything about it. All in all a very average stay, which is a shame because so much more could and should have been done to make this place wonderful.

Best hotel you can find

This hotel experience was one of the best of my life, first off the hotel is great, I love this type of luxury (that I would compare to a W) it's chilled luxury, not pretentious. Service is perfect, very eager to help without being overbearing. Bed was super comfortable, room was beautiful, all the extras are also super fun, common areas are great, breakfast was also perfect, services for eggs, pancakes ... real maple syrup, which is not that common in this part of the world... the only tiny flaw I would find is that the Spa is quite far from the rooms. However that spa was also one of the best I have been to, cold tanks for sauna, ice shower, and all the features you expect and more.

Trendy hotel with a point of difference

This is a super-cool hotel which bucks the trend for the region.

Newly renovated into a Hard Rock hotel (different to Hard Rock Cafe) - this beautiful hotel is modern, clean and offers a dedication to the music experience.

Upon checkin we were offered a free loan guitar to “jam” to, or a record player and choice of records. There is a Bluetooth speaker in every room so you are never far from your own tunes or house pick of the latest beats.

The food is great here - buffet breakfast was included and eggs cooked to your specification. Dinner is a bespoke hotel offering of Swiss & Western dining - all on point from the vegan burger to the American ribs.

Staff are super friendly and excited to tell you about this hotel’s point of difference - my only criticism would be that even though advertised as air conditioned, I don’t think the property has any emphasis on the cooling part as it was quite warm in the room and no visible vents where the cooling could be coming into the room. There is also no kettle or minibar so for any beverages you will need to use their bar or restaurant.

Great hotel in heart of Davis Platz

Absolutely new hotel. Very modern and well designed. When first checked in, we thought the smell was of a sticky air which we could not get rid of by opening the windows. After it was explained that this is due to a completely new floors and paint, it was all good. Service was great. And we were amazed by the food in the hotel restaurant. The atmosphere is very family like in spite of the renowned hotel chain name. Location is fabulous, in heart of the Davos Platz. We will recommend this place to our friends and consider this as one of our best stays in Davis area.

Lovely hotel - Efficient check-in with helpful staff who assisted me with individual needs (eg. getting my phone charged). Great terrace to sit in the afternoon sun and they had a delicious healthy breakfast with eggs made to order. Overall, the hotel & other town services were very welcoming.
