The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. However, the half board was terrible. The general quality of the food was good but the menu was very limited. We had a choice between 2 starters and only had one main and dessert available. As well as having hardly any choice the portions were way too small. As someone who went to Davos to hike every day, the food was nowhere near enough and I went to sleep hungry every night.

Very nice and convenient Hotel location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose to have breakfast included, which was a very extensive array of foods for everyone. The hostess was very accommodating with the seating and Tatiana was a great person to see each morning with her welcoming smile. It was great to be greeted by Tatiana!

Good hotel, stayed several times. It was very hot on arrival day and Aircon seemed to struggle to cool the room. Don't recall this being a problem in the past. Hilton do good covid measures although some of the guests could not follow the mask rules. Staff did their best!

A clean hotel that is a true 4 star property. Amenities and facilities were good and the air conditioning worked well. Quiet room with no noise from other rooms, or from the outside.
Friendly and helpful staff, despite the hotel being very busy.

Fairly Central Location in Davos

The hotel reception staff and the restaurant staff at breakfast were attentive, helpful, polite and kind. The advice from Reception about buses and getting into the actual town was accurate, correct and easy to follow. It was really easy getting a bus into town but the cable car was not running that day and the staff at the hotel reception did not know it was not running....so we just had a ride up lift that gave us a view of the town below.

It was an amazing stay!

Unlike many hotel rooms in Europe, the hotel room is rather spacious. Additionally it has a balcony with a wonderful hill/forest view. Bathroom is very nice and clean. Our king size bed was just perfect. If we would have known this, we'd certainly stay for a longer period!!

Good stay. Only issues were in a spa because shower was giving hot water when set up to 38 degrees. Also room was missing information sheet. I asked that from lobby on friday, it never came even promised. Anyway we were able to use room service by checking menu from website. On saturday i asked cleaning before 12.30 so boy could have daydreams with out bothering. It was promised but never happened and room was cleaned at 15.30. In restaurant there was no room and me & my pregnant wife plus kid was put to side bit rudely. Thats why we did not use restaurant anymore. Feedback was given to desk also, ofcourse no apologies or anything were received. Generally hotel is good.

Excellent hotel in Davos

We were working in Davos for the world congress and could not have picked a better hotel. The hotel is in an ideal position in the town and the hotel rooms are spacious and well equiped. Bathrooms are imacculate and the shower was very powerful. Lovely hotel will drfinatly be coming back to Davos with the wife and will definatly be stopping in this hotel

Everything started ok but then our rooms heater was not working properly. I called the fromt desk twice and the said they would send someone to fix it and they didn’t. I even went to the front desk the next day and the same thing, the claimed someone would be up soon but no one came. I finally gave up. I also asked for extra towels the night before we checked out becuase we had to check out early on the morning and it was so cold that the towels wouldn’t dry. They said someone would bring towels but no one did.

Nice place to stay

Came for a conference...the conference center was directly opposite the hotel so handy for me. The stay was comfortable, wifi was poor, the staff pleasant. Views form my room were good, with a nice balcony for relaxation. A Migros supermarket is next door, local busses stop just next to the hotel and accesses to regional transport station is easy. Enjoyed the stay.

We stayed one-night in Davos on a road-trip during mid-November 2016. The town was very quiet and essentially shutdown as they were transitioning from summer season to winter season (the mountains were desperately in need of snow when we were there; temps in 50s and sunny). The hotel served as a good relaxation day during a week long Europe road trip. Only downside was that the restaurant was closed for dinner while we were there because it was the middle season between summer and winter and this was not posted on the website during booking so we were unaware. This was slightly frustrating since the rest of the town was essentially shutdown. Otherwise, the notel was great. Would definitely recommend for summer or winter seasons and would stay here again. Nice grocery store w/ bakery and deli right next door.

overrated hugely ;just 3 star drab hotel at best

no/ broken down ac during ds fa heatwave of 36C in davos with staff not bothering to change room or fixit. worst still they did not at least apologise and played dumbo on checkout!key card failed as well needing reprogramming. most drab looking ugly eyesore building in town! worn carpets no help with bags raw cementbalconey with galvanized bar railing . who ever called this a good 4 star has never been to a good hotel! this is a very obsolete looking run down classless hotel between 2 roads sans a garden! worst still we were boiled atleast without a fan or blower and an apology. sharp contrast to hilton times square i reviewed as excellent few months go. intercontinental davos charges a fraction more (stayed the night before) but is many times classier and posh.

Boiled in a room with completely packed up ac during a heat wave.no attempt made to repair just played deaf and dumb and at least did not even apologise . real thick! Old haggered looking building covered in drab wood .even door card kept failing .I have rated Hilton times square NY very highly this den is a disgrace. There are many nice hotels near by.I don't even know why they call it garden inn as it is on way side.

Just what you need for a ski vacation

We visited this hotel during the month of March and we can say that our stay was really nice.

The hotel is still new, the rooms are very calm and the most important thing is that the bus station that takes you directly to the slopes are at 10 meters from the hotel.

One single thing that we did not like is the room service. We didn't feel that the rooms were made every day. The only thing that is done is the bed! Otherwise, nothing !

Convenient for ski trip

We used this hotel whilst skiing in Davos/Klosters and found it centrally located and a free 10 minute bus ride away from the lifts. The staff were v friendly especially those at breakfast time, there are modern wellness facilities with a gym and the wifi is fast. The rooms are clean and airy and we had a v enjoyable stay here and recommend it.

a good hotel in central town, with beautiful view.

When we were going to sleep, we found there are no flat sheet and duvet cover in sofa bad, the housekeeping bring them after we advise.
The third day, when we back to hotel at evening, we found our house kept uncleaned ---- we believe the housekeeping never enter the room that day. We wouldn't call the housekeeping because the time is later ....

Good Location for Convention Participants

Located right opposite the convention center, on the main street, with plenty of free public transportation (during the summer at least). However, only one restaurant nearby. Need to use the bus 6 stops to reach center of town. Need 2 bus stops to get to a supermarket. Note that Davos is extremely expensive. The hotel itself offers a mediocre breakfast for 25 Swiss Franks per person. You can get a personal pizza nearby for 18 Swiss Franks, or a quarter of a quiche for 14 Swiss Franks in the shop nearby, or bread and lots of stuff for about 10 Swiss Franks in the supermarket.

A Great Hotel

Although we only had 1 night in Davos, the Hilton Garden Inn was the right choice. The hotel was one of the highlights of a 5 week tour of Europe. Usual Hilton standards with very helpful staff who went out of their way to help us organise mountain biking sessions the following morning. We had a wonderful breakfast included and there was ample underground parking. We had free WIFI with good speed and access which is a must these days. We were in walking distance to one mountain char lift and on a direct bus route to the other and on the main street for shopping etc.

Although the hotel is in the middle of town, it's right by a bus stop, so very easy to get to either train station or the Parsenn. Spacious room, well appointed. Didn't have dinners there, but breakfast is very good. As others have noted, this isn't your average Garden Inn, it's more upmarket. Definitely very good value for money. Friendly and efficient staff. If I had to find fault somewhere, the English language TV channels leave a lot to be desired, unless you want 24 hour news. Otherwise a great place to stay - highly recommended.

Right in the centre of town

Good location between the 2 main ski areas bus stop almost outside the door (great not having to lug your ski gear far), good ski room to dry your boots etc, small gym, sauna, decent buffet breakfast, helpful staff. Good pizzeria nearby, also a bowling alley next door, great to go there between skiing and dinner. The room size was fine for 3 of us (2 adults, one 13-year-old on a sofa-bed), though we found the double bed a bit small as we're used to a king-size, but it was okay. It would probably be a bit much to have 2 kids in there. The room was very quiet (we were on the top - 4th - floor, had a bit of a view of the slopes). My only small complaint would be that there aren't enough places to hang 3 large towels in the bathroom to dry them out properly - the 2 small wall hooks by the door were practically useless. So if that's the only negative, it's not bad going! We also requested no room service, which was complied with, unlike other hotels we've stayed in where you come back and they've whisked away the towels you've only used once - despite claiming to have an environmentally-friendly policy. So all in all, a big thumbs up for the Davos Hilton Garden Inn!

Amazing stay!!!!

We decided to stay in the Hilton since we read the great reviews. We were very happy with our choice!!! The rooms are not so big but they are really nice and clean and the service is outstanding (they have great service even late at night!). If you're looking to stay in a modern (American) hotel Hilton is you're choice!!! (They give you a fridge but it does not really keep the food cool, we put in food and found it the next day moldy! We did complain but they said that its made for beverage but that didn't seem to work for beverage... But they did tell us that we could put it in the fridge in the kitchen in a bag but it didn't work for us..) It is a OUTSTANDING hotel to stay!!!!

Die Kosten für den Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage sind von mir aus gesehen zu hoch mit Fr. 25.- pro Tag.
Da die Parkplätze für die Hotelgäste eine eigene Zufahrt haben, sollte es möglich sein einen tieferen Tarif
zu verlangen.

Great hotel - and good value, all staff extremely pleasant and helpful, special mention for Elizabeth on Reception who is a credit to this Hilton for get willingness to help and any questions always met with a knowledgeable answer and a smile.

Great breakfast lots of choices hot and cold including waffles etc.

Hotel is central for all things in Davos including the train station, during the summer months there is a free pass to use all gondolas and trains in Davos and Klosters - these are arranged at reception- only negative observation is the charge for car park( normally free at other Hilton's for Diamond members)

Hilton luxury with mountain views

We recently stayed here for four nights. The hotel was opened at the end of last year and has a very new and modern feel.

The room was large and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well as did the free Wi-Fi. There are tea & coffee making facilities as well as an iron and ironing board.

Every room has a private balcony with table and chairs and some rooms have great views of the town and the surrounding mountains.

The room doesn’t have a mini bar but there is a fridge which you can fill with food and drinks from the nearby supermarket or the hotel pantry. The pantry area by the reception offers food and drinks and also microwave meals such as pastas and lasagne at reasonable prices.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of hot food to choose from as well as breads and cereals.

The hotel is on the main road that links Davos Platz with Davos Dorf, there is a bus stop outside the hotel and the frequent bus service makes it easy to get into either village and to the train station.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again without question.

We stayed one night in summer, found this to be a lovely new clean and modern hotel with very nice room and good location in Davos, which is a bit spread out anyway. The breakfast was really nice, so good to have some hot food having lived off cold meat and cheese everywhere else.

Very nice property and location. Only issue was the AC even set to 18 the room at best only cooled to 23. Staff reported this was as cold as the room can get and nothing further can be done. This was not a major issue at night its cool enough out to allow cool air in from outside. And most of the time at this location in the non summer months you would not need the AC at all. I would recommend and stay here again.
