Convenient location, ample room, attentive staff.

Very conveniently located near the train station. The room has large by European standards. The staff was very attentive. (Able to check me in early with an upgrade, brought me extra pillows). The hotel has a bit of an Ostalgie vibe to it (this is former Karl-Marx-Stadt, after all), which gives it some charm.

Nice hotel, but poor soundproofing and gym

Friendly staff. One of the worst fitness facilities I have seen. The church bells next door to the hotel are very loud and wake you up - they need to install triple glazed windows to block it.

Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city

I have stayed in this hotel several times. Since the renovation, it is even better and more comfortable than it was. The location is great, next to the train station and in the heart of Chemnitz.

Useful location if travelling to Poland

This was the second time I stayed here in the past 6 months. In my case, Chemnitz is a hassle-free stop-over to Poland and the hotel is well located in town and has a huge underground car-park, which I need.

The only disappointment was that whilst room service was listed as “24 hours” that only came down to delivering drinks because the kitchen stops at 22:00 and I arrived at 22:30. Never mind, the bar in the hotel opposite (Opera Hotel) has a bar menu and is open until 1a.m.!;

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Lovely location near to bars and restaurants.Breakfast choice was good for continental and room was airy and relaxed. Overall a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. One very small criticism was that when having a drink in the bar it would have been nice to be given nibbles. We have stayed in other hotels that have done this and it feels like the hotel is giving a little extra to the customer. Everything else was perfect. Well done all

Centrally located overlooking the Opera House. Walking distance to local resturants and city centre. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous with lots of variety. Rooms a litte warm and only two towels for three guests was strange. Otherwise great experience.

\"1920s via DDR\" style with modern updates

Neat hotel style. Originally hit it stride in the 1920s and it retains much of that charm. Clearly updated post-war in a good example of the DDR style (basically a late and stripped down post deco). Modern updates to the bathroom and some common areas that are in good taste. Staff very friendly and kind tho English isn't generally their best language. Hotel well situated a block from the train station, beside the opera house and very close to the inner town of Chemnitz. Didn't try the internet but otherwise would recommend for pleasure and business.

Nice hotel but rooms Disappointing

Hotel rooms are a little bit dated. Had reserved a comfort double but got two single beds pushed together with two separate quilt covers. Didn't really live up to my expectations especially given the price I paid to stay.

A reliable city centre hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of Chemnitz. Hotel has old style charm and is very dependable. I've stayed there a few times. Easy access to underground parking below the hotel. A very good cigar shop is a few steps left from the hotel front door.

Im Eingangsbereich hatte sich eine Metallfußleiste am Fußboden gelöst, diee stand gefährlich nach oben ab. Wenn man das Hotel betritt und in Richtung Rezeption gehen will, kann das gefährlich sein, wenn man sich beim eintreten ins Hotel unterhält und nicht darauf achtet. Ich hatte die Rezeption darauf aufmerksam gemacht, weil das sofort behoben werden musste. An der Rezeption wusste man davon noch nichts :-(
Im Frühstücksreich waren mehrere Tische reserviert, es war zwar mit Schildern markiert, aber sie waren nicht eindeutig erkennbar. Mehrere Leute mussten dort des Platzes verwiesen werden. Das war sehr unangenehm. Besser wäre ein Schild in der Mitte des Tisches auf einen Ständer, wo beidseitig draufsteht, „reserviert“. Das war hier nicht ganz klar zu erkennen.

Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang war sehr freundlich und kompetent.
Das Zimmer hatte einen einzigen Minuspunkt:
Das/die Kopfkissen. Das reguläre Kissen war dermaßen dickes Kunststoff dass es sich nicht formen ließ. Mit dem kleinen viereckigen Kissen konnte ich dann mehr oder weniger gut schlafen.
Der Service am Abend war eine Katastrophe. Ich habe mich um ca. 19:30 Uhr auf die Terrasse gesetzt. Nach ca. 20 Minuten kam ein gestresster MA und fragte ob ich schon bestellt hätte. Immerhin drückte er mir eine Karte in die Hand da ich nur etwas trinken wollte.
Dem folgte ca. 10 Minuten ein ziemlich gelangweilter junger Mann mit den Worten: „sie haben schon bestellt?“ Ich bestellte einen Cocktail und fühlte mich etwas nachgeäfft. Der Cocktail kam relativ zeitnah. In der Zeit bis 21:30 Uhr konnte ich zweimal beobachten dass Gäste wieder gegangen sind. Zwei Damen mit dem Hinweis das Personal steht wohl lieber an der Bar und unterhält sich.
Das Frühstück am Sonntag war von den angebotenen Speisen und Getränken gut. Allerdings war hier das Personal komplett überfordert. Das es Sonntags um 9 Uhr noch dazu mit einer Gesellschaft vom Vorabend voll werden könnte ist vorhersehbar.
Das man erst explizit das Personal nach Besteck fragen muss kann einfach gelöst werden in dem man Besteck sichtbar zur Verfügung stellt.
Schade aber ansonsten perfekt gelegen um fussläufig in die Innenstadt zu gelangen.

No attention paid to children travelling with you

The room was clean and spacious, but we were travelling as a family, I indicated that we will be 3 and there were only 2 cushions in the bed, 2 bath towels, like my son didn't exist.. plus the bed was simply 2 beds put together, so my son kept getting his feet trapped in between, really not well thought for a family room. There was an extra sofa in the living room area, in other hotels it is always prepared as an extra bed, not here..

Der Chemnitzer Hof liegt nah am Opernhaus bzw. am Theaterplatz und liegt damit sehr zentral in Chemnitz.
Am Check In, wie immer freundlich, ein schönes sauberes Zimmer mit einem guten Bett macht den Aufenthalt angenehm. Es gibt eine relativ neuwertige Sauna und ein kleines Gym mit neuen Geräten im Hotel, dort war leider der Wasserspender leer und es gab kein Desinfektionsspray. Es fehlt zudem eine Yogamatte und wenigstens 2-3 Hanteln.
Abendessen, lustlos serviert und für ein sehr kleines halb angetrocknetes Lachsfilet mit 3 Brokkoli-Röschen 27 Euro geht gar nicht. Wie schade, es war mal deutlich besser. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, leider personell schwierig, weder Begrüßung, noch Beachtung, kein Besteck, beim abräumen knallt das Geschirr aufeinander. Es sind Kleinigkeiten, für einen Gast der öfters in Chemnitz übernachtet, jedoch entscheidend bei der Hotelauswahl.

ホテル以外の食事場所が近隣(徒歩数分)に見当たりませんでした(探し方がわるかったのかも？)。

簡単な飲食(コンビニ的な店でサンドイッチ、ビールなど)であれば、駅にある店舗が利用出来ました。が、18時位に閉まってしまう店舗もあるようなので、事前に調べておいたほうが良いと思います。

Einmal und nie wieder!

Das Zimmer hatte Teppichboden, das Doppelbett war klein, mit harter Matratze und die Kissen eine Katastrophe. Hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, das dauerhafte Brummen (ev. Lüftung) hat einen zusammen mit dem unbequemen Bett und Kissen nicht schlafen lassen. Da konnte selbst der Wein vom Weinfest nicht helfen und wir haben kurz vor 5 Uhr früh ausgecheckt. Leider nie wieder.
