Chemnitz hotel

All okay except the fact that their coffee pods were already expired a month back. I asked them to replace that on the very first day but they simply did not do it. I stayed for a week. On the second day they said they'll do it. On the third day when I asked them again, they said 'it's free and we're not forcing you to drink coffee'. What kind of logic is that!!
Room, bed, bathroom is good. Breakfast is also good.

Nice Hotel - Chemnitz city centre

Nice Hotel - in Chemnitz city centre (10min). Easy access.for public Transportations and/or Car. The room combatable, however, the bathroom is too tight. There was no Coffee/Tea making facilities, however, nice BF , Free GOOD WiFi - and welcoming Reception Team.

Spacious comfortable rooms and good breakfast

This was my third stay at this hotel because we like the size of the bedroom and the quality of the amenities. Also the choice for breakfast is very good and we were the last couple slowly finishing after service time had passed and we were not rushed by the staff.
The roadworks made access to the hotel a little difficult but easy parking inside the hotel grounds is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. We will almost certainly stay there again on our trip from Spain to Poland next summer.

Good hotel near the center of town

Is this a five-star hotel? No. But I had a five-star experience, which is what I'm looking for. Everything was as advertised, the room was large and clean, the bathroom was not-as-large but also clean, the breakfast buffet was surprisingly tasty, parking was easy to get, and everyone of the staff I dealt with was friendly and helpful. It was a leisurely 15-minute walk to the center of town for lunch and sightseeing. I travel for a living, and when I return to Chemnitz, I'll stay here.

Great value for your bucks

I found this hotel just perfect for what I was looking for and I'd day it's excellent value for your money. The room was very clean, so was the sauna, which can be used free of charge. Breakfast was fine, well within the expectation for this price category. Hotel staff is friendly and speak good English. WiFi is available, but is not free.

nice hotel but...

Overall experiance can be rated as 7 out of 1, i stayed there 8 days and here is my pros: The staff were very nice and helpful, breakfast was good abd had varaities, dinner was superb, the location of the hotel is perfect only 2 trsm stations from thw city center and another 2 tram stations from the unversity campus and dorms. And here is the drawbacks: the sheets and pillow cases was never changed, in fact the pillow cases from day one wasn't fresh and new it smelled like someone slepped in it before also there was stains on them. The minibar wasnt working well, the light bulb of the main lamp disfunctioned and the staff did not change it the next day.

Overall we were were very happy with our choice of hotel. Good range of food for breakfast. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. However breakfast staff seemed to be stretched when there was a crowd.

This hotel offered good value. It was quite nice and the cost was reasonable. The young lady at reception was very helpful. The main negative was the hotel's location that was some distance from the main rail station. We had to take a local train from the main station to the station nearest the hotel. The train ride was only about 3 minutes, but I believe it runs only once an hour. If you are driving this isn't an issue at all.

Good hotel for a quick stop

We were very happy with the size of the room and the presence of the refrigerated mini bar allowed us to chill our own drinks for the car for the next day's travel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing missing was air conditioning but the ability to open the windows was a great help.

DDR's fine tourist hotel

Old East Germans built this hotel as one of their better tourist hotels. Rooms are large, staff are really good and caring, the breakfast good with many choices and only a 10 minute walk to the City Center which is reforming itself from being the old Karl-Mark-Stadt. Several beautiful restored centuries old buildings restored. Tram is 2 minute ride and train goes to Chemnitz Sud station next to hotel. Will definitely return if I return to area.

The staff was outstanding. The young man who checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly. I'd recomend the hotel for his hospitality if nothing else.

The location is pretty good. 10 minutes walk from the center of town.

Breakfast quality was higher than I expcted.

In short, I enjoyed my stay thoroghly.

breakfest: 10 choices for tea, 2 choices for juice, what you see for the breakfest pictures online is exactly the same. lots of choices.
2 closets. lots of spaces
10 mins walking to the center of the city. 3 stops from train station.
the only things are the bathroom tube is small and the public computer is slow. but you need to bring your cable so that you can enjoy 1 hour free wireless internet for free daily.
nothing else i can complain.
overall, really good.

Not What You Would Expect

This hotel is not a 4-star hotel. It probably would be good 2-star hotel or a 2+, but there was nothing unusually good about it. The rooms are clean, but nothing 4 star at all. I think we were just expecting a little more luxury, a little more comfort.

The hotel staff is great, everything else is OKish, the so-called fitness center is non existent. (one non-programmable stepper, one *broken* combined workout machine) Breakfast was nothing special. The hotel design (external and interior, rooms and restaurants) is very basic. Don't expect anything special or fancy.

Zimmer und Ausstattung waren sehr angenehm: sehr sauber, Zimmer groß mit schönen Sitzgelegenheiten. Ruhig. Bettwäsche und Bett prima. Bad sehr klein aber völlig ausreichend.
Frühstück vielseitig und qualitativ gut. Leihfahrrad überraschend angenehm zu fahren.
Viele Parkplätze.
Weniger gut war der Service. Mit Ausnahme der freundlichen Putzkräfte war das überwiegend junge Personal komplett desinteressiert und teilweise uninformiert. Es fehlten die freundliche Begrüßung, das Lächeln, vom Nachfragen, ob alles in Ordnung sei, ganz zu schweigen. Das war sehr schade und man merkt doch, wie man sich als Gast über ein nettes Wahrnehmen freuen würde. Also da sollte eine Schulung nachhelfen.
Insgesamt ein Aufenthalt, den man wiederholen kann aber man sollte kein große \"Wärme\" erwarten.

Das Haus ist nicht mehr neu, aber alles noch ganz ok. Der Herr beim Check-in war supernett, sehr bemüht.

Genauso die Dame beim Frühstück, auch sehr lieb, freundlich, alles toll.

Einzig die Dame beim Verabschieden (check-out hatte ich schon am Abend davor gemacht) war unfreundlich und hatte seltsame \"Sprüche\" drauf - was einen faden Beigeschmack hinterlässt. Einfach mal die Kollegen fragen, die sind so nett, da lässt sich sicher etwas übertragen.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, nichts besonderes, aber auch nichts gefehlt.

Das Zimmer war groß, die Möbel schon etwas älter, alles in allem aber in Ordnung.

Sehr erfreulich war, dass der Parkplatz sehr günstig berechnet wurde.

Alles in allem komme ich gerne wieder und hoffe, das nette Personal checkt mich ein und aus. :-)

Das Hotel hat von Außen keinen besonderen Charme, aber wenn man erst einmal das Hotel betreten hat, erkeent man, dass die letzte Auffrischung gut gemacht wurde.
Dies spiegelt sich auch im Zimmer wieder. Alles in gutem Zustand und dazu auch noch mit viel Platz gesegnet. Der einzige Wermutstropfen im Zimmer ist die fehlende Klimaanlage.
Das wieder zur Verfügung stehende Frühstücksbuffet würde ich mit ok bezeichnen.

Wir waren in Familie über Silvester in dem Hotel und können dies nur weiter empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer super sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Parken vor der Haustür was will man mehr.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist das erste Hotel, wo wir das Zimmer so antreffen, wie in der Werbung bzw beim Online-Auftritt abgebildet. Sehr schöne und grosse Zimmer, die gemütlich und trotzdem modern eingerichtet sind. Die Betten von optimaler Matratzenhärte, die dem Rücken nach einem anstrengenden Tag eine wohlwollende Entlastung bringt und die Nacht einem erholten Schlaf diente. Die Zimmer sind sehr ruhig, man hört nichts vom Flur, nichts aus den Nachbarzimmern und nichts aus der Nasszelle.
Das Frühstück gut und reichhaltig.
Das Personal sehr sufmerksam und freundlich.

Gut zu erreichen, Parkplatz vor der Tür und gut jedoch abends gut besucht. Einfahrt frei Ausfahrt nur mit Parkmünze. Empfang nett kurzer Check in ,Zugang von Empfang zu den Zimmer n-Fahrstuhl nur über einige Treppen.Zugang für Behinderung nur über ein Hintereingang möglich (steile Rampe )Aus dem Fahrstuhl auch nur über die Treppe zum Frühstücksraum der ausreichend Platz für die Gäste bietet. das Personal freundlich,Tische werden schnell neu gedeckt, das Büffet ausreichend und gut bestückt ,Frisches Obst .Das Zimmer sehr sauber,hell sehr gutes Bad mit Glasschiebetür, die Waschbeckenanlage gewöhnungsbedürftig offen zum Zimmer gleich im Eingangsbereich,alles sehr sauber ,TV Anlage ohne Mängel.Ein Praktische Hotel, gut zur Städtebesuch geeignet.Wir waren vier Nächte vor Ort und haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Einrichtung auf dem Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen aber in Ordnung. Hatten Saharasand (ganz feine Körnchen) im Bett das war unangenehm aber leicht zu entfernen.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und das Personal äußerst freundlich. Sogar auf Extrawünsche (laktosefreie Milch) wurde eingegangen.

Hotel ist weiter zu empfehlen.

Gutes Hotel

Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick. Das Bett war sehr gut und das Bad sauber, die Dusche groß. Das Frühstück war ok, uns hat es gereicht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Sehr schöne, große, helle Zimmer. Das Bad sehr klein aber in Ordnung.
Das Frühstücksangebot ist sehr gut. Der Frühstückraum ist groß und hell und ordentlich klimatisiert. Für einen Parkplatz zahlt man 3€, ist ok.

Das Zimmer war für ein Hotelzimmer ungewöhnlich groß, das hat mir sehr gut gefallen.
Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein.

Große Zimmer, gutes Frühstück,
befremdlich war dann aber doch, dass das Parken gezahlt werden musste... zwar nur 3 Euro, aber genau die hätten dann auch wegbleiben können
