It was a great place to stay. I received a msg to let me know that they would be closing at 4pm, and what time i would be arriving? I told them at around 5, so they stayed open until we arrived to make it easier for checkin. That was nice of them.

Had made a mistake with booking date. Sammy offered the phone numbers for the booking agent to call and resolved the refund. I rebooked and they organised late check-in for the night. This was well organised whilst I continue to drive there.

Friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk who gave us an unexpected upgrade (which was truly appreciated after 4 very long days on the road). There’s a restaurant and a tavern on-site, which again made our overnight stay relaxing. We opted for the tavern and the food arrived quickly, was reasonably priced and tasted great.

check in & departure was very quick & easy, they were very friendly. it was great that you could park your car right at your door, a touch noisy near the pool, but they settled by 8pm. room was spacious, bed was comfy, bathroom was standard, I didn't want to do anymore driving so walked to Pub next door for dinner.

Place was super clean. Beds amazingly comfortable to the point we all struggled to get out of them for our 3am departure. Man at reception was very friendly. Honestly no complaints, just one criticism which is the bathroom light is so dim and definitely needs updating.

We only stayed here one night. Our room very a decent size, which backed onto a residential area, so very peaceful. A nicely presented room, good bathroom and comfy bed. The motel has a restaurant which was serving to the room due to COVID restrictions, but we did not try their food, opting for the pub next door instead, which was very good.

We had a suite, which was spacious and had a very comfortable bed in a separate bedroom. We had two minor issues. The floor of the shower didn’t drain properly and the padding on the two lounge chairs was thin and meant the frame was uncomfortable to sit on. Otherwise, we were pleased with the room and will be staying there again. Also, couldn’t get Wifi to work.

Always stay here on our way through from north to south & vice versa. Dennis is always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If you need advice about travel routes, where to stay, what to see, he is a world of knowledge. The Capricornia restaurant next door is fabulous - eat there or order in. Rooms are large and comfortable.

The motel room was well equipped , quiet and spacious.
The \"free\" Wi-Fi was very patchy and was put down to a missing Arial. The staff didn't seem to care.
We had breakfast in the Capricorn restraunt which was well presented with a good range.
The Maraboon Tavern adjoining the motel is an advantage.
This motel is quite expensive by local standards and I found the extra cost hard to justify.

Stay at this hotel if you have the opportunity!

The Emerald was a great place to stay at. Conveniently located to eateries, it worked well for us after a long day's driving. Check in was smooth and quick and being treated in such a lovely manner was extremely welcoming.

The toiletries were of good quality as was the coffee and tea. Clearly the client's needs were thought of very well.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay at if you have the opportunity.
