Hotel was remodeled. Nice view of the river, but the floor in the room still had crumbs and water bottle caps. The inside of the bathroom door had handprints everywhere and looked like someone had spilled something on it ??? Sheets had small holes and the comforter looked like it had stains on it. Made me question how well they washed everything. Had I not been so tired, I would have asked for a different room or for them to do a thorough cleaning the next day.

I hope the hotel can invest in better sheets and do a better job cleaning the rooms.

The rooms were a nice size and lighting was good. However, I could hear everything in the room next to me. Walls seem to be thin.

I ate at the restaurant the first night. The food was terrible. Wouldn't recommend. Find a nearby restaurant.

Coffee in the morning near the restaurant was great.

Hotel staff at the front desk was friendly.

There's potential for this property to be great, if they make some improvements.

This is always a plsce we like to come to when we visit our grandkids. Its always clean, friendly staff and great atmosphere! Lawrenceburg is such a cute little town with so much to see and do. Not to mention the view of the Ohio river!

Excellent hotel for our visit to The Creation Museum.
Free self parking, located on the Ohio River and rental bikes available made this a great hotel to stay in.
We rented a one bedroom suite which gave us a lot of room to relax in.

Our stay was amazing. The staff were incredible kind and helpful. They made our stay perfect. The only thing I would change is the cleanliness of the floors in the hotel room. Carpets and tille definitely needed some deep cleaning attention to detail on the cleaning could use quite a bit of adjusting. Outside of that it was a wonderfull experience and we will definiely be back! Thank you Doubletree Staff <3

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Hotel staff needs better training to be more informed about Events, activities going on the area. They couldn’t give any information related to the event in the event center that is connected to the hotel. There is also a shuttle that runs to the casino but no one knew where it picked up at or the hours of operation. Train your staff so they can be informed and answer questions about events.

Been trying for 3 days to cancel or move the date. Wanted to charge me another $150 on what we already paid. Still waiting!!!!!! This makes me not wanna use Expedia again after this mess. We are in a winter travel warning and couldn’t make it to the Celebration of Life we were suppose to attend. It was also cancelled due to weather.

As we walked in to the lobby, we were greeted by Amy. She was so friendly and helpful! And a little bit after we got settled in our room she teext and ask if there was anything we needed. ! Our view from the room was the river which was so nice to wake up to. This is our favorite place to come!

The lobby was nice, and the rooms were spacious. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a refrigerator and microwave. The free parking garage was great, but having to carry luggage across the street, up one elevator to the lobby, then up a different elevator to the room was a little annoying.

Wow is the best word to describe our stay. The hotel looked so grand upon first entry. Checkin was super easy. Our room was beyond amazing. I had no idea it was going to be like a 1 bedroom apartment. It was so quiet and we had a river view. Felt like we were the only ones at the hotel. Breakfast was amazing. River view and we were the only people in there dining.

Nice location overlooking the Ohio. Could walk to shopping and restaurants. Had to request cups for water and coffee, room had none when we checked in. Enjoyed river view that night but couldn’t get automatic blinds to open in the morning so couldn’t enjoy the view before we checked out.

We were very disappointed with this hotel (compared to others we used on this road trip). The room was dusty, there was no refrigerator (a major convenience when traveling), only one washcloth, the server at the restaurant put down our beverages with her hand on the top of each glass, there was no hot water to shower at 7:00 a.m. ... It's hard to overlook such lack of attention to detail at those prices. There was no one at the desk to check us out. We just left our key cards so they could figure it out. Not a typical stay in a Hilton property. The Cold shower was the worst!

The sheet pulled up from the top left edge of the mattress and it looked like someone had thrown upon the edge and down the side. Shower was dirty. Since trash bags aren’t used and the cans are not cleaned. There was who knows what stuck and smeared inside the cans. Only one half used roll of toilet paper was left.
The only good thing was the friendly service. I was there for a wedding in the event center and it very nice as well.

Excellent, Clean Location

The location is perfect for exploring Lawrenceburg! We had tickets to a show at the Liberty Theater and were able to easily walk the few blocks. My husband and I ate at the restaurant in the hotel lobby and it was incredible! Even with one server working, we got a table quickly and enjoyed fantastic Italian food!

We did not get the king bed, city view room that we reserved, but rather ended up with two queen beds with the river view. This trade off was worth it for the view!

Parking is across the street in a garage, so be prepared to walk with your belongings, as the lobby parking circle was full of cars.

Hotel was recently remodeled and looked really nice. Very conveniently located with lots to do in the downtown area. Nice view of the river. Busy weekend there with bands and other events. Check in was easy but was told because of how busy it was that daily room service/cleanup was not available and if towels or such were needed to call the desk. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels even some that are much cheaper and lower quality than this. First time I’ve ever experienced that and for the cost per night I’m sure Hilton can do better than that. The breakfast was good and the gym was nice and new. As a business owner myself I understand the struggles to find employees but it seemed to be run by a skeleton crew. All in all enjoyed it and would go back again next time I visit the area they just need to up the game on a couple things.

There was some billing issues. You can not speak with the hotel it is impossible. Customer service at hotels.com is horrible. Can not understand them, they speak very poor English. When asked to speak with someone who does speak English they will say they will hang up on you and you will have to call back.

Some good...some questionable

I booked a suite. The hotel rooms are being renovated and they are quite nice. The meals were very good and dining room service was pleasant and professional. However, housekeeping was hit or miss - I stayed for 1 week. Two days housekeeping showed up, made the bed, replaced the towels, wiped down the vanity (lightly). Two days housekeeping only replaced the towels, did not make the bed nor wipe anything down. Two days housekeeping didn't show up at all. I put out tip money everyday. On the days they did a \"full service\", they took the tip and left a thank-you note (nice touch - I appreciated that). On one of the days when they only replaced the towels, they left the tip. Obviously, on the days when no one showed, the tip was still there. Not sure what to make of this syncopated housekeeping schedule.......??????

The front staff, Amy, Hope, Monica and Venus were welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was appealing and very delicious, Bre served us daily with a smile. The facility is beautiful, however, housekeeping is lacking. We complained several time during our stay due to uncleanliness and no linen. I would go back because it’s located by the river and the town is lovey. Excellent location if visiting the Creation Museum.

Restaurant too expensive. There was no ice bucket in our room. When I mentioned it to employee- she argued with that there was one. There was NOT. Then when we were brought one, it was dirty and broken. There needs to be refrigeration in all rooms. Not enough small amenities for the price. Parking was across the street.
