It was terrible , first of all me and my boyfriend book a room for three days and not once it was breakfast , me and bf took turn walking to the office at 6 am 7 am and 8 am there was no food .
The room had roaches , every time we turn around and there was bugs every chance it came .
The cable sucks it was only 24 channels .it had repeated movies .
The coffee maker did not work at all ..
It just suck

I booked a room for 4 nights as i was in town for work, on day 3 we moved work locations and i checked out a day early. I asked for a refund for the final night the lady said that i have to go through Hotels.com to get my refund. I contacted them and they said that they will get ahold of the property manager and see what they can do. They refused my refund and charged me for a night that i wasn't even there

We were disappointed in cost at about $200 a night but we’re hoping for a good night sleep and hot breakfast when we booked! When we got here Found beds comfy, room smelled good, price dropped, pool was closed. No other amenities, shower doesn’t drain, Bathroom commode / toilet in separate room and is very crowded with shower. And the worst breakfast ends at 9am and not Hot - it’s grab and go donuts and coffee. We could have stayed elsewhere for less with a lot more to do and hot breakfast!

Lobby smelled awful. Dark and dank. Breakfast was stale old pre packaged muffins. Breakfast area was dark. Light fixtures falling off the wall in room. Hair dryer didn't work, no iron, and tub bottom was super slippery.
Room had connecting door to other room but didn't sound like a double door. Could hear every word from people on room next door. Didn't feel safe and ended up changing hotels.

The Continental breakfast could hardly be called that. There was cereal, bread, jelly, three bananas and coffee.

Very good for price

This was a fairly inexpensive but well-kept and clean hotel for Lawrence! You can tell they recently remodeled/updated the rooms, which was nice! The outside looked nice as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast on the weekend closes early at 9. We came in at 9:15 and they tried to find some food for us still. The only down side is the lobby didn’t smell good which was off-putting, but everything else was great! Would recommend!

Probably the saddest place I’ve ever stayed. Two flies greeted us upon entering the room. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The grate on the AC was broken, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a tin can being beaten relentlessly. The satellite signal reminded me of dial up internet. The corners of the bathroom had a wedge of dirt. The kind you look at and ponder how many people ignored the obvious.
I will say the front desk man was super sweet and informative.

Overall, the stay was comfortable and thus is a good value for the price. The AC works very well, which was nice in summer and the curtains block out a lot of light. I the area felt reasonably safe.

One heads up (not related to the hotel itself) but I did notice that when booking through hotels.com that from the perspective of staff that I was booking through another service. There was also a different credit card on file that was not my own that the third party booking service apparently uses when reserving, a type of card that I do not have. My address was also slightly incorrect. These compounding factors caused confusion and concern on my part and was something that I did not experience before while booking. But again, this is not due to the staff or hotel but the third party service. I was able to get a hold of someone from hotels.com that confirmed this was a misunderstanding on my part and was ultimately not a cause for concern.

I appreciate the staffs patience in explaining to me.

Clean room with good TV. No ice bucket and ice machine not working. Pool appeared to be abandoned. Continental breakfast was almost nonexistent with no juice or yogurt even.
Facility shows decline. I hope they get busy and correct. A family type operation that needs help. People were courteous.

I hesitated to book a room at an Econolodge. I wanted a room a at a budget price. This Econolodge provided us with a great room at a budget price. It was very modern and clean. The room was stylish and inviting. It could not have been nicer and compared to rooms at hotels costing much more. We highly recommend it.

Very very old fixtures, fridge, microwave. However very clean. My room was small but I do not need much space. I have personally seen and purchased nicer chairs and tables at Goodwill. The desk chair did not adjust, so I sat as a low rider at the desk. Mrs. Patel (mgr) is very kind and suggestfull of places to see in Lawrence.
The internet reception kept going in and out so I had to re-connect frequently.

Was a quiet place to stay. Towels were all stained with something with an orange color to it. The lamp next to the TV was hanging off of the wall. Screen windows were pretty beat up from the looks as if someone was trying to get in at one point. Had some questionable people hanging around outside at night. Definitely lock you're vehicles.

DON'T DO IT!!!

This was by far the worst hotel that I've ever stayed in! I wasn't expecting the Hilton, but for what I paid, I DID expect cleanliness and this establishment was FAR from clean!

There was dirt, hair, and spilled/dried up beverages all over the room. Dirt and hair caked in every corner of the bathroom. Mold all over the bathroom \"walls\" (it was actually flooring tile on the tub walls which is not meant for high moisture areas) dried fluids of some kind on the bathroom walls and baseboards, dried up pile of feces and/or vomit on the floor next to the bed, broken light fixtures, broken computer desk, broken tv remote, broken phone, paper thin walls, smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, black body hairs in the bedsheets, sticky spots (soda?) on counters and mirrors, and the bedside table had gunk and dirt CAKED all around the bottom of it! As for their \"continental breakfast\", it consisted of 2 dry cereal choices, bruised bananas, toast, and a tub of COMMUNITY BUTTER for EVERYONE to use. Gross.

The room was drafty and cold. You could see daylight coming in all around the door to our room because it is not properly sealed. One of the holes was about the size of a dime and was directly at the bottom of the entrance to the room (concerning). No refunds either.

I tried to upload photos for proof, but can't. This hotel clearly does not follow Choice protocols when it comes to their cleanliness standards. I will be filing a formal complaint with Choice Hotels, as well as the BBB.

The staff were very friendly. There were a lot of security cameras which made me feel better about exterior doors on rooms. The beds were comfortable and clean. I liked that even though it’s an older hotel it had vinyl plank floors not worn out carpet. It had a mini fridge and small microwave. There was also a safe but we did not inquire about it. The furniture, other than the beds seemed old but were in good shape and clean. We would stay there again.

It was ok. Breakfast was not the time listed on website making it to late for my travel to work. Office chair in my room had parts protruding from the seat. Shower had good pressure but intended for 5' person rather than a 6'1\" gentleman such as myself. Car never got broke into and did not lose anything from my room though, they did enter my room even with the do not disturb sign on the door... Price is good.

Our sheets on both beds were dirty & had stains on them along with the mattress pad, was disgusting! Went to the office to see about getting clean ones. Waited in there for several minutes as there was no one at the desk or to be found. Finally someone showed up & told them the situation & he said he would call \"housekeeping\" to bring me \"clean\" sheets. When \"housekeeping\" brought me sheets they were all waded up like they grabbed them out of the dirty clothes. When putting them on the bed found lots of hairs all o er them, so not convinced they were actually \"clean\" sheets?! When we checked out I asked the same gentleman that checkus in if there was anyway we could get a discount for having to deal with that situation. Like no one expects or wants to oay for a room & then have to cha ge your own sheets as soon as you get there because there dirty. He said the \"manager\",who I think was himself, said wouldn't give me a discount for that? I asked why & he said because they brought me \"clean\" sheets really fast after complaining!? Like seriously! Guess you get what you pay for! Terrible management & disgusting place! I would NOT waste tour money on this business! Worth paying a little more to get clean sheets to sleep on!

The floors were very dirty, I used a hand towel to wipe up a spill by the sink and it was black when I finished. the room was a little cluttered with furniture not leaving much room to move around. our stay otherwise was not bad. We were told there wasn't much to the continental breakfast so we just left and did not even check it out.

Nice people running it but kind of shabby. The AC unit was very noisy and the bathtub was dirty when we arrived. They immediately came to clean it, but it spoke to a lack of quality control. I don’t think it will get better because all the staff are family members, and you can’t fire a relative.
