Breakfast had no biscuits for biscuits and gravy- it was supposed to be served one more hour. Employee was outside smoking at 8:00 AM rather than ensuring people had what they needed. Coffee pot had issues- so it was a no go- although employee told us to have a good day. Overall- it was NOT a good value for the price. Maybe worth 80.- not over 100.

VERY OUTDATED!

I was in the area for a funeral - hard to rest for it.

Things were sticky/ dirty! Carpet gross. Even the TV remote was sticky & gross.There weren’t even tissues in the room. Lamps old, leaning, shades dirty, and one lamp wasn’t even working. Mini fridge, while working, desperately needs defrosting. Office chair wouldn’t roll. You could tell there was supposed to be a side chair in the room that was just gone?? The toilet was the smallest and lowest one I’ve seen in a hotel in a decade, like sitting on the floor! :(

I will just say the website used some very creative photography for the outside and inside of the hotel. I’d never stay there again!

…At least the shower water was warm.

The hotel is in very poor condition on the inside.
The checkin person was friendly and helpful.
The room was not up to our standards so we checked out and went to another hotel.
Unfortunately we had to pay for a room that was never used. I was told they were going to be updating this old run down hotel.

Horrible. They put us on the floor and in a Room with some ozone cleaning machine and we immediately started having trouble breathing. Then we reported it and they apologized and moved us to another room but the damage was done. This could have been fatal. I almost had to call the ambulance for my wife! We should get a full refund!!

Room had trash behind TV table and telephone table. The bathtub was dirty as well.
The staff and mgmt were great as they said they did not allow cats, but did for this occasion. Web site says pet friendly with no mention of no cats. The breakfast is there but the morning I tried it most everything was cold at 6:30. The location of hotel was great.

We don’t have high standards, but the room was not very clean and the toilet especially looked like it needed to be cleaned. The TV wasn’t working, and they couldn’t figure it out. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly though and handled check-in, very efficiently and professionally.

We stayed at the Baymont and was pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The headboard and furniture were noticeably dusty and I was afraid to put anything down on the bathroom floor . We won't be going there again. The staff was just ok.

Shower did not drain properly. Tile cracked and sharp in the bathroom. Side door to the building did not lock and was available for anyone to open. Pool was “out of service”. Toilet paper was half empty. Keys were deactivated the day before we left and had to get new keys. AC/Heater temperature control did not work. Bathroom door did not lock. Cable would cut out for minutes at a time. No available outlets to charge phones (we had to unplug lights which made it extremely dark in the room).

Repairs needed in every area. Old and not cleaned well. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was ok, but they were out of biscuits when we got there. Then ran out of waffle batter. Also ran out of coffee. Staff was hustling to refill items that ran out. Excellent customer service and staff, but property is pretty run down. Decent stay for the price.

Don’t stay here. Even for the price I expected at least to be clean. The staff is nice and that’s about it. All of the carpet is stained badly. In our room the carpet is stained, dirty, ripped, and missing in some areas. All walls are destroyed w crappy patch work. Curtains are barely hanging on to window so dirty you can’t barely see through it. Someone else’s food and grease ALL OVER the remote control. Cigarette butts and garbage strewn about hallways, Actual mold growing in the toilet, no toilet paper in our room. Bathroom floor cracked so bad you sink in when getting out of shower. Advertises pool but apparently that’s been down for months. Laundry facilities don’t work (dryer) The insulation in walls is so depleted you can hear person stairs EVEN FLIPPING THE LIGHT SWITCH! It’s posted nonsmoking property but all you can smell is cigarettes. Black mold growing all over AC unit. Just go down the road to a different hotel

Building is old and in need of repair everywhere. Staff was very nice, but could use advisement on how to dress. Rooms are not clean, our first one had pills on the floor and dark streaks on the sheets. Staff was very pleasant about helping us with a different room. Our second room was cleaner, but had no way to charge phones, had to move a side table to get to a plugin. One of two tv's worked, and remote was very sticky. Cover on ac was almost off - but it did work well and kept us cool. Close to a very busy road, and hard to get across the road due to heavy traffic. Wi-fi worked well. Parking lot is small, but enough room considering the size of the hotel.

The picture that is posted online is not accurate of the outside of the building! It doesn't look like that at all, and almost thought I was in wrong place! The rooms are dated, and after having to switch rooms, due to the first one being not ready, the room was fine, and we were only booked stay the one night! The 2 ladies, that were the front desk staff (one in evening ,one in morning) were very nice, and friendly!!!

My credit card was declined, but when I called the credit card company, they said the charge never showed up. I wound up going to a different hotel and using the same card, got right in. The clerk received a few reports while I was trying to check in about unclean rooms, and they left the hotel. You might want to keep closer tabs on this hotel.

We were quite worried after reading all the reviews about how
Bad it was but were pleasantly surprised by cleanliness of outdoor area, friendliness of desk staff, comfort of bed, water pressure and temp, cleanliness of the pool and pool area and a few more things. It’s old, it needs some repairs but we would stay here again with no issues. Breakfast was nothing special but there is diner right near it.

Front desk staff were amazing!!! Friendly and very helpful. Hard water stained bathroom fixtures gave impression that bathrooms weren't clean. Vinegar, baking soda and a scrubby sponge will make them sparkle. Need to check refrigerators for items from previous guests. Otherwise, i enjoyed my stay. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was the bomb. And relatively quiet for being close to a main road. Thank you very much.

Could easily see bugs in bathroom sink as well as a spider behind the tv in the room. Could also see cobwebs between headboard of the bed and lamp. Spot cleaning while out of room wasn't done a couple of times even after we were told it would get taken care of. We were also left with no toilet paper a couple of times too. Wi-fi is extremely spotty. On the posivties: staff was nice, and parking was easy to find and getting into building was easy. Breakfast was good.

It’s cheap for a reason…

I was at the hotel 10 minutes and decided I couldn’t stay. There was a creepy man out front that followed me to my room. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom of it. The carpet was dirty, old and musty smelling.

I was in a suite. It had only one tv and it was in the bedroom. The sitting room had no tv and you can't see the tv from there. There were 2 spiders on the ceiling and one on the wall, in the bedroom. The breakfast was ok, typical hotel breakfast, scrambled eggs and sausage links. Also biscuits and gravy and waffles. It's very convenient, everything is within a couple miles of this place.

This property is supposedly being remodeled...I think they may be part way done? There was a bad odor in the lobby and hallways. Thankfully our room did not smell and was very clean, even though most of the furniture was very old. Looked like maybe new carpet and newer beds? You get what you pay for and we had a very low rate. I will say the staff were excellent...very friendly and helpful!!

The room was big and spacious, and clean. They did have an indoor pool. The staff was nice and very accommodating. The property had a bad smell when you walked in the lobby, seemed to be plumbing problem although me and my guests didn’t have any issues in our room. The breakfast was great, many hot and cold items to choose from; and was included with price of room. Would visit again for the price I paid, and also located 4 min from casino in which I was there to visit.
