Great place for kids. The apartment was spacious, however extremely hot and we had to request fans. Also there was a strange smell from the sink. The amenities are nice with the pool and saunas, kids playroom. We thought the dinner was quite limited and overpriced (35 euros a person for a buffet). The breakfast buffet was good. The location of the facility was great.

Absolutely fabulous hotel in beautiful Bavaria
What a great find! The hotel was fabulous! The pool and spa were far better than we expected. The area is also beautiful and the special pass for activities/cable cars was a wonderful surprise. The staff were so helpful and the lovely Stefanie at reception was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations to maximise the use of the area day card that is included in the stay.

My parents stayed here because they have a time share and this is an RCI property. I was meeting them in Europe so got a room here. As a tourist, I would not stay here. It's not close to any major tourist sites, the hotel itself is remote and a 20 min walk to the quaint town of Obersatufen. Rooms are efficiencies and on par with motel 6 vibe in the US. The property has playgrounds for kids and a nice indoor pool and sauna and massage available. I see this as an escape from the city for local families, not a great choice for tourists. Staff were friendly.

Nice German holiday hotel off the beaten path
We booked this hotel when attending a trade show about 55 kilometers away. We arrived late after the first day of the show and the reception had already closed down but since we had called they had the key waiting for us. We couldn't find a map in the lobby so asked the bartender and restaurant manager if they knew where our room was and neither did. When I opened the envelope with the key cards I found a map which made the room easier to find! I went back to the bar after checking in for a beer and they had just closed and told me it was not possible to get a beer even though several people were still there - very German! Overall it was nice and comfortable. We did see a very big spider though on the floor which retreated to under the kitchen cabinets when we threw a shoe at it!

2. Frühstücksbuffet ab 9:30 Uhr etwas ausgedünnt, besser früher kommen

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hallenbad und Wellnessbereich sehr gut. Vor allem der große Whirlpool ist für Kinder genial. Das Restaurant im Komplex ist sehr gut, nur sollte im besten Fall reserviert werden.

Schöner Aufenthalt. Abzug weil Ameisen im Zimmer
Unser Zimmer war günstig renoviert, was aber in Ordnung war. Allgemein war der Aufenthalt OK. Großen Punkteabzug gibt es bei vielen Ameisen im Zimmer. Erst nach der 3. Beschwerde wurde mit Ameisenködern reagiert, besser wurde es dann aber nicht.

Die Möbel sind leider in die Jahre gekommen, die Couch und die Stühle waren durch gesessen, die Betten waren allerdings sehr bequem, das Hallenbad war sehr modern und sauber! :) Leider ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in dieser Anlage insgesamt nicht stimmig, für den Betrag, den wir für 4 Nächte gezahlt haben, hätte man sich ein paar \"neuere\" Möbel, einen größeren Fernseher... erwarten können :) trotz allem, alles in einem eine schöne Hotelanlage

Angenehmes Hotel in Oberstaufen. Schnelles Checkin und gute Erklärung zu den einzelnen Komplexen auf dem Hotel Areal. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber, jedoch im älteren Semester.
Werden wieder in dieses Hotel kommen, da die Anbindungen an die Wanderwege super sind.

Nicht für Menschen mit Handycap, nicht sauber
Wir sind abends angereist und haben in der Pizzeria im Haus gegessen. In der Pizzeria war die Toilette verschlossen, man solle zum Hotel herübergehen wenn man mal muss. Dort sind die Toiletten im Keller, ohne Aufzug. Meine Partnerin hat ein Handycap und kann kaum Treppen steigen.
Also, auf ins Zimmer. Wir waren im Haus 3, mit vermutlich der längsten Treppe aller Häuser zur Eingangstür. Auch wieder kaum geeignet für Menschen mit Handycap. Die Einrichtung wirkt abgewohnt, das Bad war aber schön renoviert. Der Wasserdruck lies zu wünschen übrig und die Temperatur schwankte zwischen kochend heiss und Eiswürfel. Alles ist recht sauber, wenn man nicht genau schaut. Die Fenster sind einfach verglast und alles ist recht hellhörig. Im Appartement findet sich alles zur Selbstversorgung. Das Schwimmbad ist erstaunlich groß und auch sauber. Kinderbetreuung fand statt. Der Raum ist schön eingerichtet und die Betreuung sehr nett. Meine Tochter war gerne dort. Die Pizz fanden wir okay, aber etwas teuer. Ein großes Plus ist die Allgäu Karte, mit der man ein Schwimmbad in Oberstdorf und mehrere Skilifte nutzen kann. Allerdings nur eine Attraktion pro Übernachtung, was ein bisschen schade ist, weil man ja meist einen Anreisetag hat, mit dem man etwas anfangen möchte. Ist die Karte minimal verknickt (bei Kindern passiert es schnell), zahlt man 6€. Ist zu verkraften, aber bei dem
happigen Zimmerpreis hinterlässt es ein ungutes Gefühl.

Wir - 2 Freundinnen - waren zum ersten Mal im Mondi. Schon der erste äußere Eindruck der weitläufigen und liebevoll gestalteten Gartenanlage ließ Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen. Das setzte sich durch den sehr freundlichen Empfang der Rezeptionistinnen fort. Wir fühlten uns gleich gut aufgehoben. Die Zimmer (DZ zur Alleinnutzung) geräumig und hell - mit einer kleinen Küche für Selbstversorgung. Wir hatten Frühstück zugebucht. Das Restaurant, wo das Frühstück eingenommen wurde, stieß kapazitäts- und platzmässig zu den Stoßzeiten ziemlich an seine Grenzen. So kam das Personal kaum nach, frische Teller und das Buffet aufzufüllen. Aber dennoch war es sehr lecker ! Fazit: Alles in allem können wir das Mondi weiterempfehlen. Eine Ferienanlage für jedes Alter, und gleich ob Familien mit Kindern oder Alleinreisenden. Durch die Weitläufigkeit der Anlage wird es nicht zu eng. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Mitarbeiter, die für das Wohl ihrer Gäste sorgen !!
