One od the worst experience ever. They catfish by putting pics which shows the hotel new. The hotel is run down and probably 50yrs old.
We were there not even 3hrs and the aater wasn’t running anywhere. They told us to be patient.
I took my kids and left. I am disputing charges and will not be paying

The suites are nicely located if you have a car as they are a 3 minutes drive from Monemvasia but also offer a pool. The suite we had was spacious for a family with 2 kids. Staff was very nice. I just wish the pool could open later than 6pm especially as sunscreen is not allowed

This place was very clean but my room had the shower on the toilet, which is ok but I must have missed it when booking. The bed was super hard, again ok but I don't like beds that are that hard. Service was great!
Rebecca
Beautiful hotel!! Stunning views, a great pool, basketball court, and large rooms.
We were greeted by the owner on arrival who was welcoming and her staff were lovely.
Parking is available and only a 4 minute drive into town.

Ocean front views!
Great hotel for the price. Pool was amazing, nice cafe on site. Very close to old city. Some of the room features could use an update but overall we were happy with the room. Only real complaint was not having booked a longer stay
Phillipa
Lovely hotel and pool. Good breakfasts.

Good: location, breakfast, view, pool and staff helpfulness and friendlinesss. Bad: missing amenities, rooms are not maintained and cleanliness. The site is about 5 mins drive to Monemvasia bridge and is walkable. Missing sink mirror, broken items and comforter not provided. When checked in, found toilet was not completely clean. Too bad because property has a lot of potential.

The location and staff were great. The room itself was not well cleaned with garbage left behind and marks on the table and the deck

Loved the location, beautiful views from the hotel, the swimming pool wonderful and great for young and old the kids had so much fun.
Breakfast was very good, but would have liked if they had seasonal fruit eg watermelon, grapes, nectarines etc
Staff very friendly and professional.

Location was great and size of apartment. No designated reception which makes it a little awkward should you need something after hours.

Not happy...
Very confusing booking and staying experience... We booked \"executive double room\", thinking it should be better than \"classic double\" (normally \"executive\" means up-scaled, better quality), but upon arrival we were told that \"executive\" is the same as \"classic\" but for lower sale price (????). That was unpleasant surprise, especially considering that pictures on HOTELS.com are for pool and suits only, and rooms descriptions are not clear at all, so we couldn't even imagine how SMALL and dark \"classic\" room is, barely bigger than double bed inside.
So we had no choice but pay 40 Euros to upgrade our room to bigger one. Of course we were not happy about the whole situation at all...
Breakfast was OK, greek yogurt was missed for two days though...
Thank you Apostolis, he really tried to make our stay better!

Beautiful view, water sea swimming pool
But because of covid19 the restaurant is closed and the breakfast is a just a box prepared in avance (no fruits or yogourt)

Unrealistic photos, not a place to book
We arrived late in Akra hotel and we were surprised by the hotel as it looked old and nothing like the photos placed on hotels.com. The room had nearly enough space and the bathrooms although renovated, it’s extremely difficult to enter the shower or to sit on the toilet and not hit your knees on the wall. Also, the bathroom with the toilet had a very bad smell all day long. The bed was tiny for an average size man 180cm and the general feeling in the room was claustrophobic. Overall, I would skip this hotel and avoid any booking despite the photographs shown on the website
valerie
Thomas
Not confortable enough
The hotel has a good location (2 minute drive to the city) and a very nice pool.
All the staff is also friendly and helpfull.
Howerver the rooms are not very confortable for various reasons ( noise from the other rooms, the fridge next to the bed had to be unplugged to stop the noise, red light from the exit sign and smells from bathroom and toilets).
