Great location near beach / shops / restaurants/ marina/ train station. Lovely traditional feel to the place. Friendly helpful staff. Third time visiting this hotel. Point to note breakfast is not too good but the coffees and pastries were a hit. Also, on check out luggage room avail but no shower facilities other than the one at the pool.

Lovely traditional hotel, has a nice pool area to sit at and as the hotel is away from the sea front it’s quiet at night. Plenty of communal sitting areas inside as well. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely little hotel. Very spanish decor which made it feel authentic. The only thing was the pool was freezing but will het warmer i guess. Close to all shops, restaurants bars. We came on the train from the airport. Rail links were fast efficient and easy to navigate and extremely cheap to get around on.

Location excellent, friendly helpful staff, clean, good aircon, nice swimming pool. Only problem was the place needs better soundproofing. Tiled floors everywhere and thin doors mean you can hear every sound from the corridors. Not a place for good views out the windows either but its in the centre of town so not too big a problem. Very easy to get by train from Malaga airport and right by the bus station so good for transport.

Lovely authentic Spanish style hotel that was spotlessly clean and is centrally located - within 5 minutes walking distance from the train and bus station. Rooms have been renovated and have decent air-con, and ours had a mini fridge too. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and when we had a small issue it was dealt with quickly. Food was great - not a massive choice but always found something nice to eat and food was varied - only negative point was that food was often quite cold (there is a microwave to reheat if needed). Area directly underneath hotel is a little scruffy but generally the location felt safe, wasn’t noisy and is close to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Would definitely stay in the hotel again if in the area as hotel offers great value for money and gave us a really enjoyable experience.

Several issues with the room upon arrival! TV channels not tuned in properly. The man who came to fix the problem, couldn't. Had to call his boss who had to fetch an adapter which took a while to get TV to work properly. One bedside lamp not working. Took ages to be fixed. No waste paper bin in room. Bed and pillows were extremely hard. After THREE attempts to improve this the LAST ONE was to put a SINGLE mattress on top of a DOUBLE?? I gave up!!! ONLY stayed for THREE of my SEVEN paid for nights BEFORE checking out to a different hotel!!! As a single traveller my MUCH needed seven nights holiday in FUENGIROLA turned out to be a VERY costly experience! BOTH in MONEY terms and TIME!!

I loved my stay at Las Rampas. It was a very beautiful and pleasant time, the hotel has so much character and feels premium in other ways. The best part honestly was the location. The close proximity to the beach, shops, cafes, restaurants, bus & train stations, was well alone worth the stay. Was greeted by friendly staff (especially La Uruguaya, gracias Silvia ❤️) and were so helpful with everything. Would highly recommend staying there, and will hopefully be back again.

We have been to las rampas a few times and staff are always polite and helpful. They have limited parking but we have always been lucky enough to get a spot. There are many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Allow a good 40mins to check in. Hotels feels very unsafe if there was a fire due to the maze of corridors with no obvious exact. Rooms were fine but with bars in the windows even one floor up.

Quick stay of 2 nights. Traditional hotel centrally situated. 10 mins walk from the station. Clean spacious rooms, didnt use the pool or eat here. Air con was a bit slow, but good value in an excellent location

They had a booking for 100 teenagers!!..that caused lots of problems for the other guests!..loud music around the pool!..playing ball games in and around the pool!..abusing guests and being racist, ageist and showing no respect for others!..diving and overcrowding the pool area!

This is a good hotel very near to the train and bus station and a block from the beach and boardwalk in central Fuengirola. There are endless pubs, bars, restaurants in the area to choose from.

Short Golf Trip
We have had many stays at Las Rampas normally a group of 8 but on this occasion 4 excellent check in by a cheery receptionist we had arranged hire golf clubs to be delivered to the hotel and these were securely stored until we arrived rooms as usual basic but spotlessly clean. We did not have any food but reception Staff booked us transport to golf daily. House keeping Staff constantly visible and appeared happy at their work. Great location everything you need close by.

Absolutely fab hotel. We had a fridge and hairdryer in room. Safety deposit box for 2.50 a day.. Well worth it for your passports and valuables. We paid 3 euro at front desk for the use of a kettle and cups and tea and coffee for the 5 days we were there. We asked for more pillows which were provided without any problem. There's a coffee machine in reception if you want a coffee for 1 euro. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and so quiet even though it was located close to Fish Alley and the beach and the bus and train station . We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

Situation of hotel is brilliant, we have stayed here many times. The hotel has new management. This was our first stay that the bedding was not changed for our 10 day stay which is why we gave a 4 star review instead of out usual 5 star.

The down-side was that practically everyone staying at the hotel had to pass my room when entering or leaving the hotel, which sometimes made it hard to relax.
I didn't eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast buffet was great.
I'd recommend the hotel for those who like a place with character and aren't looking for high-end luxury.

As we did not originally book this hotel for our Fuengirola holiday due to our original booking being cancelled elsewhere, we was apprehensive due to the very cheap price and some of the reviews regarding evening meals. However upon arriving at Ona Las Rampas we couldn’t have asked for anything more, the hotel is beautiful and authentic, staff are polite and friendly, the breakfast was sooo good every day. The evening meal was a little hit and miss with some nights being better than others but this depends on your preference. The maids did a lovely job at cleaning each day and the services we revived for the price we paid was surprisingly good. The only down side was that there are no way near enough sun loungers around the pool and even though there was plenty of room for more, we and many others were having to lay our towels on the floor in order to sunbathe and chill around the pool. Other than that, fantastic stay and great location with a 3 minute walk to Fish Alley and a 4 minute walk to the beach! X

The room we revered wasn’t available, there was a mix up with the beds, however the guy in reception was very helpful and the room he put us in ended up being the best room so quiet, so we were very happy. Cleaner was a bit aggressive if we were not out the room when she knocked at 9:30am and sometimes resulted in her not cleaning the room

Unfortunately the last 2 days I received over 50 mosquito bites. I did inform the receptionist and they gave me spray. But they are so tiny you can’t see the them. Nevertheless the staff were excellent and I would recommend.

Love the white Andalusian pueblo feel to the hotel. We found it quiet, although right in the middle of town, which was very handy for shopping. It was also very close to the beach and the prom too. Close to the train and bus stations. There were many places to eat in the town and along the beach front.

The hotel is in a fab location, 25 metres from the beach and a minute walk to train and bus station. Hotel was very clean, breakfast was ok. The biggest disappointment was the pool being closed!! If we had known this, so if they had put on their site it was closed due to refurbishment (not a water ban) we wouldn’t have booked here as we love to sunbathe by a pool. A lot of the guests were complaining. So please get it advertised that your pool is closed!

The other thing is that alot of noises especially in the morning and people and the staff shut the doors in very awful way . You can't sleep from those noises. I really like this hotel but the pool was closed off for building work when I was there with no date for reopening. The pool area is important for somewhere to sit and read and relax as really there is no outdoor place to sit at this hotel other than a shared terrace which was crammed with all the sunbeds.

Great location when arriving on buses or trains.
Las Rampas is a nice hotel near the bus & train station in Fuengirola. We have stayed there beforecand had a much nicer room... this time - the room was clean and spacious enough.... but no where near as nice as the room we had last time.
The room was also a long walk from reception up a steep slope.... if we stay again... we will ask for room in a different part of the hotel.
