Great place to stop over. No evening food - just breakfast, but great restaurant about 100m away and reasonable prices. Hotel has underground parking. Only in the green parking bays!! IBIS have duplicated the parking bay numbers to be the same as the tresident parking. Beware, as the hotel receptionist was extremely rude about this. Very clean and new everywhere. Bonkers social distancing route. Have to get reception to unlock the doors to let you out though. A great place to stay, shame about the rude staff.

Sofa bed in family rooms are uncomfortable
We booked a family room. The double bed was comfortable. However, the sofa bed for our children was so uncomfortable that they could not sleep on it. My husband swap places with them, but he could not get any good sleep either. Seriously, it should not be allowed to have that as sleeping facilities. Fortunately it was only for one night.

The Ibis is likely the newest hotel in Rastatt. It's modern, clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an on-site workout room, big courtyard, and the hotel is centrally located in downtown; a 5-minute walk from the train station, surrounded by restaurants, and at the far end of a large central green space that takes up several acres. It's also within walking distance to the Schlossplatz shopping mall. Breakfast is good. One downside: I find the rooms to be rather small; there is no room for chairs or places to sit other than the bed; even the desk and luggage platform are fold-down. It can be a bit cramped after a week, but housekeeping staff are efficient and the place is impeccably maintained. The value for money is good. I would recommend it for business travel (not if you're looking for a vacation experience in the Black Forest).

Das Personal ist echt toll. Da lies sich noch ein ruhigeres Zimmer finden. Rtg Schloss wohnen eine ganze Menge Krähen in den Bäumen. In Laufnähe findet sich auch ein guter Asiate und mehrere gehobene Restaurationen. Aber am Besten ist ein abendlicher Spaziergang im Schloßpark gegenüber.

Ein gutes Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem kleinen Schlosspark mit Schloss und in nur einigen Minuten zu Fuß ist man in der kleinen Altstadt, wo man Restaurants und Geschäfte findet. Ideale Lage. Parken in der Tiefgarage ist sehr teuer (19€), aber draußen gibt es alternative Parkmöglichkeiten, wenn man will. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren freundlich, allerdings wirkte alles etwas unorganisiert. Mir fehlte ein bisschen der zuvorkommende Service-Charakter, den ich von anderen Hotels kenne. Das Frühstück und dessen Service kann ich nicht beurteilen, da wir dies nicht genutzt haben.

Bahnhof und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr nah. Der Tresor funktionierte nicht, Duschmittel wurde nicht aufgefüllt und das heisse Wasser kam ohne Druck aus der Leitung im 2. OG. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht, da wir 4 waren. Im anderen Zimmer im 1. OG gab es keine Probleme. Erstaunlich grosse und gute Auswahl beim Frühstück, das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Katastrophe sind nach wenigen Stunden abgereist.Wir hatten so etwas in Deutschland noch nicht erlebt. Das gleicht einer Pension oder Herberge für Monteure. Personal Inkompetenz, Tv keine Funktion, Betten ? Eher Britische, kein Schrank nur 1 Mini Schublade. Das einzig positive an dem Zimmer der Safe.
