Short trip to Batam.

The front office staff Tania spoke good English and was very warm, courteous and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, service staff Wani n Devi was serving at the breakfast cafe. Their service was excellent.
The conditions of the room was just ok to stay for a few nights, rooms was very small and there was no cupboard but there was a safe below the mirror. The hotel is directly opposite the Nagoya Food court. It is a very nice airy hawker centre serving many types of cuisines and local fare with live band playing every night except Mondays.

It is a noisy hotel with ingrained dirt.
But, its cheap, with a massive food hall opposite. So its convient, safe, and walkable.

The pool is to small to swim in, more like a plunge pool. That said, it is there so you can use it.

It's not the best hotel I've stayed on my holiday but its functional and the staff try their best.

I think, reception asking me to pay a deposit when it was not in the contract prejudicist my view of the hotel a little.

My experience at this hotel was very terrible.

They hide clauses and do not disclose it on Expedia. Here are many.

1. They are totally rude and don't respect customers.

2. They asking deposit for roomkey(Cash, passport, working Id card or secure documents). They do not accept it by online eithor in cash (only Indonasian Rupeea) or your sensitive documents.
If a person dont have cash they not accept other currencies and will not allow to check-in.

3. You can not smoke inside the room you have to pay 35 USD.

4. The room is very small and has a smelling area.

5. At 4:15, the Room was not ready, and had to wait outside.

I'll not gonna consider this hotel, especially at this price range and not suggested anybody.

Please select another good hotel in this price range. Happy stay.

This hotel is a decent hotel and opposite is Nogaya food court which has a lot of food like A2. Its convienent to find food or have a chill .
The breakfast was not fantastic but can fill your stomach. The pool is very small, maybe just nice for 8 children to dip in water.
During the check out, i didnt know my dad in law dirted the bedsheets with some stains as his piles burst. The counter service man asked me to go back when i already walked out of the hotel and asked me to pay $20 sing to compensate. Is it up to them to say a price? i was rushing off and it just slipped off my mind to questioned him for black and white or a receipt. He simply say 20 0000 when my hsnds was still holding 2 pieces of 100000 that he returned me as deposit. Will he really put this into the hotel's account? Bedsheets can be washed isnt it? $20 in Indonesia for washing ? In Sing, if i send to Self laundry will cost me less than $10.

I booked 4 rooms and they arranged 2 rooms for smoking and 2 rooms for non smoking. There are 2 lights in 2 rooms couldnt off so i have to use towel to cover. Aircon temperature couldnt be adjusted.

For the price paid, i would not complain about the quality. basic needs are all met.
just be prepared that hotel is quite old, hence, many equipment, furniture are not in the best state.
however, room is clean, sheets are clean, bath towels smell great.

The room 801 which I stayed for 2 nights overall seems fine. But it need some maintenance, wallpapers has stains (looks like blood stain), curtains are dusty when drawn, soundproofing is bad. I have water seeping in when its raining outside. Towels always have a weird stench. If the hotel could do some refurbish n upkeep with the house cleaning it will be perfect.

Very pleased & satisfied Biz Hotel Frontdesk Hotel staff to allow us to check-in early...they granted our request with no further question.
Only thing the room was dam pretty small.Breakfast quite disappointed-not much varieties cos for 2 days having same menu breakfast....The best thing abt the Hotel was nearby with DC Mall shopping Ctr which within 5mins walking & 10-15mins walking to NagoyaHill shopping Mall. Even BCS Mall shopping nearby but need to take taxi cost only 60K Rupiah!Surrounded nearby with Money Changer. Overall we are happy stayed @this Biz Hotel.

AMAZING to be WELCOME by 5 Cockroaches in the room

The front desk staff is very friendly with good service to check us in . WOW, we were more WELCOME by at least 5 cockroaches in the room. My wife was scared and wanted to change room. I managed to kill all of them ( very CRUEL, right? ) and calmed my wife down by telling her that there may be more SMALL FRIENDS in the other room, at least, there were 5 less in this cubicle. Then we went down to have our dinner at the cafe, staff recommended us few items, and we just took his advice. 15 minutes later, staff came to informed us that one item was out of stock, alright we cancelled that one. Another 10 minutes later, staff told us that another item we took was sold out also........ why menu items were recommended if they were not stocked up................... Well, anyway we just swallowed down whatever we were served because food was not so good at all. Hopefully the management team may improve them supervisionsssssssssssss for repeating guests. I am very sorry to tell the truth and looking forward to your excuse for any offences. Thank you.

Every things is good , the only thing quite not happy noisy . Recently I stsy level 6 , at night time from 8pm to 2am so noisy people shouting , laughing at corridor . At least the guard should advise them people are sleeping to control the volume .

Good, but was told King size bed when doing booking on Agoda on the two rooms booked....Instead received two queen size bed in the two rooms.Your staff were good in solving this problem....their provide us with a extra bed in one of room...where my wife and two of daughters were staying....Cos the Queen size bed cant fit three of them.Me and my son sleep in the other room.Your management should inform Agoda that Biz Hotel do not provide king size beds in King superior rooms.Thank you...Overall the stay was good and comfortable.

Locality is good. Easily accessible to many attractions. Hotel also provide free shuttle to main shopping mall but check with front desk bec driver will ask for parking fee as coffee money.... breakfast variety acceptable only slow service due to lack of staff.

we booked 2 nights and were told to check in on the smoking floor and the rooms were horrible with smoke smell.... told the front desk and they promise to shift us to non-smoking rooms on the next day as hotel is full occupied.... but overall the stays were good!!!

hotel was clean bit not as what was in the pictures. swimming pool was very small. can only fit about 5 adults. Hotel room was very hot especially the aircon as it was facing towards the toilet n main door. It would be my last time staying at this hotel and its mainly because of the aircon which made my 3 nights of sleep miserable bcos of the aircon and it not only affected me but also my mother and sister who was in the next room.

I have stayed at Biz Hotel a few times over the past couple of years. The standard has dropped dramatically. There bed linen was torn. The bath towels were almost grey (not bleached). The breakfast offering was limited and cold. The staff was friendly but hotel standard really poor.

Generally quite good with the security, services, and the room cleaniness but abit lack of brightness when one needed.
When requested for an hour extention asked to pay rp 100000 and I declined coz I had no problem with other hotels .
The lobby lighting seem insufficient lighting and my first impression at lobby wasn't good impression about the hotel but thereafter I would say quite acceptable to me .

Practical Hotel near local facilities.

Hotel is in town area close to the local facilities. The room is compact but I find it difficult to do my daily prayers facing the Kiblat. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly and super helpful. However the traffic noise could be very annoying. This is not ideal for those looking for peace and quiet. Overall it is okay for the price paid.
