Air conditioning is taking a minute to turn on after you flip the switch labeling A/C, then you need to set the condition of the A/C cool to either low or hi, same thing to the heat mode. The unit also has it own heater built-into the wall and it is also quick to turn on with the knob. The carpet floor looks dirty and I think they need to replace with a new vinyl flooring as a longer term investment if considering $$

The service at night is very bad. I stayed on Friday, May 13th, and I waited an hour for the customer service representative to come out. He was asleep, and the beds in the room are very old; they're even sagging.

Good enough stop for a quick night sleep for my family on our way to Disneyland. The room was clean. The bathroom looks recently done as well as the mirror/sink area, beds were the only thing that were super outdated. They were lumpy and worn and the sheets weren't the nicest, but we brought our own so it was no problem. You get what you pay for here but overall safe and quiet.

Only problem I had was I could not get hot water at shower. At best it was tepid, (slightly warm). I left slightly early so was not able to report directly just dropped key. Otherwise the stay was good for the cost.

Pulled in and immediately got low-budget horror movie vibes. Broken AC unit, torn mattress on damp carpet, dangling drapes, heavy mold and smoke smells, and a parking lot that felt genuinely unsafe, like keys between your knuckles. 0 out of 10, would not recommend. The overall vibe was more crime-scene than vacation. Checked in, locked my kids in the car, checked out, got a refund.

The most worse experience ever at a motel. The RedBluff Inn was unprofessional in many ways about our experience with them. OJT and/or training does not look like that. For example, we brought to the attention of the available staff there on December 12, 2025. That the hot water was not working. After waiting for the staff to come answer the door for awhile. Staff told us that he couldn’t do anything but call maintenance to fix it. We told him that we bought sanitary services (ie, working toilet/shower) with our stay at RedBluff Inn. He instructed us to leave a note and the key at the office window. We suggested that we take a shower in another room there. We did and I ended up getting a cold because it was so cold outside. Nobody deserves this because RedBluff Staff doesn’t know where people travel from. We came from another state. This post was necessary.

This is a cheap motel. However, the value of the room was worth the cheap cost. No complaints. Bathroom was super clean with new shower. There were 8 paint drops on the tile floor that no one has bothered to remove. Served our needs well.

There wasn't anyone there for check out both times I came to the property. And he was kindof rude. The pool is right on the very loud and busy street, and there were people hanging out on the balconies watching everyone. I didn't feel safe and went home instead of staying. Not a good place for a woman on her own to go. I'm inclined not to use Expedia again after this.

Well my first room didn’t have a functioning deadbolt and I found some soiled sheets left behind the bed (the red kind). Second room didn’t have keys to it but it did have a working deadbolt! It’s the perfect place to have bad food poisoning on the toilet till 1am and that’s about it. You get what you pay for.

The room was fine, the problem was that the wall socket for the TV, the refrigerator, and half the lights room lights was dead. The guy at the front desk was talking to a friend in the office and was uninterested in talking to a customer but finally looked at and asked what we needed. He said he would bring an extension cord so we could plug the TV in the bathroom, he never showed.

If you ever go to Red Bluff do not...and i repeat DO NOT stay at Red Bluff in.
The bed was something our grandparents slept in.
My daughter would have had to duck to use the shower.
The ceiling fan didn't work.
The towels were basically hand towel size.
The window was broke so we had to push it from the outside to close it.
The pool looked absolutely disgusting.
On the plus side. AC worked great. Mini fridge worked good (Froze everything lol). And the TV worked.
Unfortunately, i wouldn't stay here again.

Electrical was unsafe, stairs were very steep, large strides, and nothing on them to prevent slips or falls just wood. It was raining and they were wet very unsafe. I'm mobility disabled and was scared of falling because of these stairs. Room had no hangers in closet and a huge what looked like the back of wall was kicked in.Will probably never stay there again. Overall was very unsatisfied with this place.

Red Bluff Inn is a really nice budget inn. Check-in was fast and easy. The front desk mgr was helpful and friendly and went out of his way to give me a better, more convenient room. They stated no pet policy, but someone \"living there had a dog\" It came up to us, and not in a nice way?! I have phobia and let the guy know! It was t safe and I wasn't going to stay. He offered another room but it wasn't much better? He politely gave me my money back. We went to Best Western, stellar!

Upon arriving, there are signs everywhere saying absolutely no pets. But there was literally a dog on the roof (another guest put him up there) but the desk clerk didn’t care. We get to our room and the bathroom window in the first floor room (large enough for someone to easily climb into) did not have a functioning lock. Just pushed right open and couldn’t be pulled closed again. Boyfriend had to walk back to the dark alley behind to push it closed. When we told the clerk, he responded “yeah… some of them are just like that”. He “upgraded” us to two queens, which was actually two fulls. This time it was missing the lock on the front door!!! The only lock on the door could be unlocked from the outside if someone had a key. We were too tired and just piled our luggage in front of the door for “security” but couldn’t leave fast enough in the morning. There was also chunks of wall cut out in the closet. We hung one of the blankets up on the broken curtain rod in case there was a camera or something in there.
Otherwise, the tiny beds, shower, and bathroom were clean.

If you are a single woman traveling PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! It is not safe.

This is a great hotel for its age and the price. The furniture was aged, but the bed was firm, and the linen and sheets were very clean along with the towels and wash cloths. the bathroom was fine, no mold or anything like that. The staff was very friendly. They let me check in early and even though the ice machine was broken they had ice at the counter available in separate plastic bags. However, there’s some stuff that needs an upgrade like the ice machine, but it’s outside along with the washer and dryer. The problem is, because the area has a lot of transients coming and going.

This place is a complete dump, I try to travel cheaper because I stay in hotels so much, but this place; oh wow, where should I start, it’s filthy they don’t even try to hide it, it is very old but more than that the sheets were stained as well as the old tattered towels that were very thin and small. It smelled like cigarettes even though I asked for no smoking room, they put me upstairs even though the place was empty, when I went to complain I asked if the room had even been cleaned and she said “ I don’t know I don’t clean them” I wasn’t even allowed in the office at three in the afternoon I had to stand outside and be helped through a window. So needless to say I checked out. I just couldn’t. Oh the ice machine didn’t work either but that is common these days.

Check-in was a little frustrating. It was around 5 PM and the office was closed already ring the bell the night person came out and didn’t have a reservation for me. Had to call the manager, I believe and I had to speak to the manager and she was able to, find my reservation was a little disconcerting when I knew I had a reservation. after everything was straightened out, Check-in went fast. the room and facilities were very nice for the price.

Internet worked. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Not enough hot water for morning shower. Good prices compared to other motels in the area. As mentioned in other reviews cracks in bathroom tiles. For a quick stay not bad for the rates that are charged.

From green shag carpet, non functioning lights, broken air conditioner, no screen on the bath room window and just swings open and is hard to close, the outdated furniture and stained towels.... this place could really use a good cleaning and some new carpet and bulbs at the least!

I was very tired from travelling over night, really needed to sleep. Came at noon plus; the lady told me check in was at 3 pm. Clearly they were not overbooked by any means.
