THE ADA ROOMS HAVE TO TOILET PAPER HOLDERS...ONLY A 4 INCH LEDGE TO PUT THE ROLLS ON. EASILY KNOCKED OFF TO LAND ON FLOOR. UNSANITARY. THE HEATER/COOLER IS HORRIBLE. YOU GET A FEW MINUTES OF COOL, THEN GOES HOT FOR AN HOUR

The shampoo, body wash, and conditioner was left unlocked. Personally I felt that’s unsanitary, more so than public bathrooms. People are gross. Do better. I didn’t deal with staff much, first night the gentleman was greasy and standoffish. Not very inviting. The last day, at check out I had to rerun my card and was told to just keep an eye out on my account if there is more than one charge. Do better. The amenities were disgustingly used. People stayed in the pool area with lights out then constant drinking in the area with no attention to their kids splashing. It’s not exactly relaxing. Lastly, who shuts down the parking lot so parking is overcrowded and inaccessible. Was not happy about parking on the street with a town full of homeless people. At least a heads up would have been nice. Do better.

Hotel front staff are extremely rude. Looked down on me because I booked through expedia instead of booking through them. The check in person said since I booed through expedia I have to pay $100 deposit and the reason why the person in fro t of me didn't was because she booked through their website which I didn't even ask about the ladies information anyways.
We got checked in around 11pm mind you our itinerary says how many children we have and the ages. I have a 2 year old and infant. We get in our room and we get constant calls supposedly about complaints of noise that sounded like “fight” i have a screaming toddler that i was trying to keep quiet and calm down for bed while just getting in our room and bringing out things in not to mention some man punched the wall so hard it scared my kids and shook the whole wall. We woke up at 7 am because thats what time our babies get up and we instantly get a call complaining. This hotel does not like people with children and I see that through the many comments regarding people staying here at this hotel. Like if you cant handle families with kids stay in an air bnb. Hotels constantly have families with children. As for the staff if you cant handle families with children I think you better find a better job or just shut your hotel down.
I recommend not staying here if you have little children

The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Beds and pillows were comfortable and soft. Breakfast was good, other than a pancake machine that did not work properly. I recommend switching it out with a waffle maker instead. The only negative review would be the pool area, very run down, hot tub not working properly and the chlorine content was so high you could smell it through the lobby.

I stayed at both the Hampton Inn Suites & the Holiday Inn Express on this trip. Both were similar in price so let me compare them in the ways I noticed.

TV - Both excellent. Hampton Inn (HMP) wins because their channels were easier to navigate and closed captions worked.

Breakfast - Both were decent. HMP wins because they have waffles. Holiday Inn Express (HIEX) has pancakes. The juice dispenser wasn’t working at HIEX.

Check out time - HMP extended us to 12:30 pm for free. HIEX was a firm 11:00 am, no exceptions.

Rooms - HIEX is slightly better. Tall ceilings and a little more spacious than HMP. Bathroom was bigger and nicer at HIEX; however, the water pressure was a lot better at HMP.

Service - Both hotels had polite, friendly staff. Excellent on both. Unfortunately, at HIEX, my fridge didn’t work. I asked the front desk to get me a working fridge, they said they would, and 8 hours later, it still wasn’t working. They did not offer me anything in exchange.

Overall, Hampton Inn wins, but Holiday Inn is also a good place to stay.

This is about the 6th time Ive stayed at the Pinnacle. The staff are great. The hotel is clean. The restaurant has good food. The location is great + very walkable. The sea ferry to downtown/city center is a quick 10min walk away. I had my dog with me for the first time & he was as welcomed as I was.

The room is so spacious and they are pet friendly which is exactly what we needed. The area is good for walking a dog around outside. I very much enjoyed the breakfasts, hot food too. I'd like a waffle machine then it would perfect. I have stayed previously, the inside was remodeled and made more updated. I liked the changes all expect not having a tub anymore. But it was a really nice shower. I will be back and probably with my dog.

The check in was okay, but the hotel takes an additional $100 “hold for incidentals” at check in that they promise to release at check out. We all know it can take up to 10 business days for a bank to release “held” funds, so a traveler must make sure to have an extra $100 available that won’t be necessary during their trip if staying here. This practice is antiquated. “Incidentals?” There are no phones in the rooms, no mini bars, no room service, and barely enough towels in these budget hotels. But my $115 stay is now, in essence, going to be a $215 stay for at least the next few days. Am I going to eat too much breakfast? Use too much TP? This ridiculous “incidentals” hold practice needs to end. Otherwise, the hotel is fine.

However, hotel staff came knocking on my door at 10:30pm with what appeared to be coffee supplies I didn’t order, and my credit card was charged $14 at 2am in the morning. Had to insist that the front desk clerk credit my card $14 and the $100 incidental fee I wasn’t suppose to be charged before I left the property. Still waiting confirmation that the credit transaction has gone through.

The room was clean and cool temperature wise. The wall paper was falling off a corner but, that's fine. The bathroom was roomie but it was oddly warm. We ended up leaving the bathroom door open with the AC on so it was more comfortable. And breakfast was good and changed each day.

El hotel está bastante bueno en cuanto a la comodidad , la limpieza está bastante buena a excepción de una calceta encontrada en la habitación de un huésped anterior junto al piso del sofá . Me parece que no tuvieron ese cuidado de limpiar bien . La puerta del baño se enllava por fuera y es un poco incómodo cada ve que se usa . La llave de la habitación no funcionaba por suerte pedí 2 llaves así que solo pude usar 1 . Y lo que aún no entiendo es porque me compraron $14 extra cuando salí del hotel si no tuve ningun pedido extra en el hotel . Tampoco obtuve información o recibo sobre este cargo al momento de hacer mi check out .

I arrived at 2:45 and was sent away because the clerk said my reserved room was not ready. So I had to kill about an hour in a town I did not know just to get a reserved room with ants and a discarded fake eyelash on the radio. Otherwise, the Hotel met what I expect from the Holiday Inn Express brand. And I still had my check-in delayed so the clerk could attend to her minor child who appeared to be helping the cleaning staff.

After a long 8-hour drive, we were thrilled to find the hotel easily right off the I5! There's a gas station right next door, which made fueling up super convenient. The staff at check-in were so welcoming and helpful, which really set a positive tone for our stay. Our room was clean, the air conditioner worked like a champ, and while the bed was just okay, the bathroom was fresh and tidy. My son absolutely loved the indoor pool and spa—such a great way to unwind after that long drive! They do offer breakfast in the morning, but we decided to hit the road early instead. Overall, it was a fantastic stop that I’d recommend for any road trip or visit!

The elevators were being remodeled (I guess) so there was white boards and blue tape on them, and the pool apparently wasn’t available- which I didn’t know until I looked it up and it said under construction until October 2025. (Maybe it was available but I didn’t even ask after I read that on the website, but didn’t see it before I booked the room)
