The location of the property was perfect. In a historic district, just around the corner from Foggy Bottom Metro station and 15 mins walk to the vibrant Georgetown area. It’s a leafy peaceful street but being in a university neighborhood gives it a youthful vibe.

Bathroom is very small with no countertops to put toiletries and there is a counter outside the bathroom but no mirror to do hair, make up, etc. Furnishings were serviceable although I personally found the bedding too hard and things like the kitchen cabinets and medicine chest could use replacing in my opinion.

The only challenge was the family room where the bunk beds are basically in a closet with no air and no windows, paired with a really loud air conditioning. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Can not say enough good things about Ashley at the reservation desk to the valet driver and the servers in the restaurant. The room was clean and as advertised. Only negative was no heat in the room on a cold night. Apparently the building runs only heat or air conditioning but not both available. Their heat goes off at beginning of April and we were there on 4/8. However, they did provide us with extra blankets

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood within blocks of George Washington University. The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms are spacious and have everything you could want. This was a very pleasant Inn. The staff are extremely friendly and the accommodations were comfortable. I plan to return next January as the neighborhood has so many accessible stores in walking distance. I no longer drive so a cab ride to museums, etc affordable. The on site restaurant is on par with great Italian restaurants in NYC. I had cooking facilities so only ate there once but I've let others know of the quality go the menu.
