Windows were so dirty you couldn’t see the beach well. There was a dirty chip on the floor of bedroom from a previous customer.
Entrance and stairs were in poor condition, with general public able to access the corridors for the bedrooms and the room keys were not needed.
Position was ideal. Hotel needs updating desperately.

The entrance is not very secure. Anyone could get into the hotel. The stairs to reception are very tired, stained carpet, needs a makover. Had an issue with my room, the staff moved me to a new room straight away. The room was fine, clean bedding, good pillows, tv, bathroom clean, fluffy towels. Guy on reception was really helpful. The entrance and stairs really let the hotel down. Its in a really good location overlooking the sea. But was a bit noisy from nearby pubs, but nothing major.

We have stayed here a few times and each time it gets worse.we usually request room 303 top floor on the corner but it was not available due to flooding
This time the whole place smelt of damp to be fair the guy on reception did come up and spray air freshener didnt help no toilet rolls either.shower black mould all round the tray on the plus side its a great location.
Standing out side the front door look up and there was a window missing on the 1st floor and you could see the ceiling was down pigeons flying in and out no wounder it smells of damp carpets are filthy and no one hoovered for the 3 days we were there
Definitely wont stay again such a shame as we love the location but it needs a lot of money spent on it

I stayed at this hotel for four days, and overall the experience was just okay. The biggest issue was the condition of the room. There was very poor ventilation and barely any space, which made the stay uncomfortable. The room also looked nothing like the photos shown on the website, which was disappointing.

The carpet, bathroom, and even the walls were covered in dust, as if the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. For a hotel stay, cleanliness is the bare minimum, and unfortunately this fell far below expectations.

The one positive was the location—it was convenient and easy to get around. However, the hotel itself was not clean, and it’s not somewhere I would choose to stay again or pay for in the future.

It's a basic room, not refurbished for a number of years. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom could have done with a deep clean but i understand the hotel may be finally starting a room refurbishment plan in 2026 so fingers crossed. For the money it was fine.

No shower gel in shower and asked for this didn’t arrive. The shower was dreadful black and mouldy needed a good clean. No lighting in the corridor which made it hard to find room

The room was adequate. Access room so a large shower room. Sea view but windows steamed up so couldn't see out. The double glazing was poor and needed replaced. We had a heater which kept the room reasonably warm. Friends had the breakfast we didn't book it . The breakfast consisted of cereal, toast and cold boiled eggs the same each day. Near the Tower Ballroom which is what we wanted for our dancing event there.

Good enough location, but a terrible hotel. The room was stiflingly hot, as a fan heater was left plugged in before we arrived. No water was coming from the taps throughout the night, only a strange hissing sound. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the worst.

The whole place needs refurbishing. The windows were filthy. The bathroom full of mould around the edges when you have a shower it overflow cause the water is not draining. Quick enough cause through block drains have to leave the bathroom tap on for about 8 minutes, before you get hot water. Bed made properly there was no sugar no milk in the little trays I will not be staying here again.

Staff were helpful. Bed not to bad for 1 night stay. Bathroom had mold on the tiles leaky under the sink. The toilet very low like its sunk so if your tall not the ideal loo. Could of had more than 2 sachets of coffee as many people dont use 1 for a mug. Pretty dull view back end of property steps from.my window so would of thought the rate would of been a bit lower than what i paid.

Hotel does need some updating the carpet is well worn throughout the hotel. No.parking which isnt ideal if you were there longer than a night. Further up the road Talbot parking they charge £10 for 24 hours. As long as you enter your reg number at reception . Lifts had a few issue but maybe a temporary issue.

Hotel handy for theatre and the promenade. The room was very cold when we arrived and it took couple of visits from the staff to get it to acceptable temperature. The bathroom stay cold throughout our stay , so we didn’t shower .

The staff member who checked us in was fantastic, comfy bed, good size room - could have done with a comfortable chair or two.
However, the bathroom was mouldy with broken tiles, carpet was ripped & lifted, tv was either red or green tinged, the entry smelt strongly of cigarettes continuously.

For £64 in Blackpool we weren’t sure what to expect! But great little spot on north pier with a full sea view beach view! Above Turtle Bay but surprisingly quiet!

Bed clean and fresh thank goodness!

Bathroom could have just done with a deep clean but for £64 we were happy for the evening!

The room was very big and had an ocean view. The windows were stuck closed and so we could not have any ocean breeze. The windows were so old and condensed that we could not really see out of them. The mattress had a pee stain and smelled of it. We noticed this the last morning, as a sheet had come off.

The photos of the property on the website are very deceiving. The public areas of the building are delapidated and lots of crumbling plaster and very worn and dirty carpets. No guests in bar and public areas so no intimate feel or atmosphere

Me and my fiancé are not people who like to complain, but we will not be going back to this hotel. It’s dirty and smelly, around the lift foyer areas were the worst and the carpet was thick in mould. It smell like maggots, or something was mouldy or rotten it made our stomach turn, lucky the room didn’t smell this way but the room was unbelievably hot with no AC or a window that could be opened. We asked about the AC and if it could be looked at, we were told they are having a renovation at the end of the year so they are not fixing anything. After speaking to other guests, this has been the normal response for 2 years. But even if they are having a renovation it’s not acceptable to leave guests in a room that you can’t open the window for fresh air. The entrance to the hotel was just covered in cigarette ends and just pure dirt.The bathroom wasn’t great, mould in the shower etc. it just wasn’t a good experience for us, we won’t be returning.

We loved our stay for our small family holiday.
The family suite was spacious and the beds were comfortable.
The view was spectacular, of the North Pier. The location was ideal with bars and cafes all around us. The hotel had a small bar for drinks too.
The only thing that could have done with some improvements was the shower and windows. It was a very windy couple of days and the outside windows didn’t shut properly. There is inside glazing too to help with sound and regularly that would probably have been fine. The wind just made them shake a bit which we could hear.
We are heavy sleepers so I didn’t really matter for us.
The shower could have done with the shower cleaning up a bit, maybe the grout could be painted over to make it look cleaner. It was clean but it’s just been well used.

We had a great stay. It was our second stand we we will definitely stay again.

Small faults in and about the hotel but it's hard to grumble for the price.
It's not fancy and probably never will be. It's in the heart of Blackpool, but was reasonably quiet when window shut.
Close to a lot of attractions. Convenient for shopping bars and restaurants.

Lovely helpful and friendly staff.. cleanliness was awful there was black mould all through the bathroom. The view through my window was the back alley of the property with all the air con pipes etc. The noise was awful. I was also given a shower bathroom that didnt have a bath in so was a struggle to bathe my 1 year old in a dirty shower.. needs must however. Breakfast was continental.. which consisted of ham slices, cold boiled eggs, toast, croissant, pan au chocolat, blueberry muffin and fruit... apple juice, orange juice, water and coffee. There was also butter, cheese spread and jam. Yoghurts.

Family of 4 in two rooms. Lovely and beautiful building, extremely friendly, warm and accommodating staff, comfortable beds, fantastic views of the North Pier. Only very slight let down was that, housekeeping could have been a little better house kept. vacuuming in the rooms, but overall I would highly recommend when the pricing is appropriate.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights with my son. On arrival we took the stairs and they weren’t in great condition, so our initial impression wasn’t good.
We checked in early no problem however the first room we were allocated didn’t have a sea view so I requested to be moved, the lovely lady on reception changed the room for us and it was perfect, she was kind and helpful, all of the staff I spoke with were friendly and accommodating,
Apart from the stairs which is out of the staffs control we had a good experience at this hotel and will stay again

Only stayed for 1 night. Reception staff very friendly. Room had everything we needed for 1 night, bed, shower, and kettle for morning brew. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but that's just personal choice, other people might like a hard mattress. Would stay again. Great location.

Unfortunately, our first room smelled like someone has smoked 40 a day in there for at least a year. Second room was much better however the bathroom was filthy, the water in the shower wouldnt drain and stains up the walls and on the doors. The corridor carpets needed a good clean too. I dont mind cheaper hotels, but there is no excuse for dirty rooms/corridors.

However, staff were really good, helpful and friendly

We checked into a standard double room. Mould in the shower, not very clean. Bathroom flooring was lifting, making a lump that could have been tripped over & the drains smell was terrible. I asked to be moved, was told there were no more rooms available in the hotel as the cleaner hadn't turned up that morning & just the rooms that were needed that night had been cleaned. Whilst we were out one of the reception staff used some drain cleaner which was better on our return.

Perfect location for us. Bed was nice size and comfy. No soap in bathroom, had to use the shower gel. Lift not working, air conditioning unit not working, although we did not require either of these other people might do.
Thought it was ok for a one night stay until the morning when we realised we had been sharing our room with bed bugs. Will not be staying here again.

Very convenient location, and easy to check in and out. Sadly the room was very cold, there were two fan heaters left for us but only 2 plug sockets - so once they were plugged in we had no other access to an electricity source. One window wouldn’t close fully so you could hear everything from the street.
